Eric talks to Jameka and Jessica as I get this out to the world. It was unbearable today in the Big Brother house. No, not so much because of the houseguests, but due to the heat in Southern California.
Being on the block has really bonded the Jessica/Jameka relationship. They've drifted together and, for the most part of the day, stayed pretty much away from Zach, Dick, and Daniele. Even Eric has given them space.
As Jameka and Jessica grow closer, there's a rift between the lovebirds, Eric and Jessica. He feels horrible and keeps trying to tell Jessica how horrible he feels only to have her respond that he can't feel as bad as her because she's on the block and thinks she'll go home.
Meanwhile, Zach had an alliance meeting with his secret alliance, his main duck, Joe Cool Rubber Ducky. Joe Cool is the only one in the house who truly has Zach's back. He's the only one who really understands Zach and will throw himself under the proverbial bus to save Zach's skin. The most powerful ally in existence, there is no frigate like a duck.
In other news from the Big Brother House of Sweating Bored People:
- Big Brother gave them wine.
- Off and on during the day they talked of movies and television shows.
- Jessica said she's not an alcoholic -- she's just bored in the house and alcohol is something to do. (I say CRAFTS, give 'em CRAFTS!)
- Jessica put Rosie O'Donnell down on her application as the celebrity she dislikes the most.
- Dick and Daniele snip-snapped at each other.
- Jameka and Jessica tried to figure out who Daniele wants to sit next to at the end -- her father? Is there a way she could get him out of the house?
- Could Dick get Daniele out somehow without getting blood on his hands?
- Daniele told Zach she wishes it was a double-elimination week coming up so both Jameka and Jessica could go home.

If Jessica is evicted, Jameka will be right behind her, with DE coming up.
It will become interesting to see if Zach aligns himself with D&D or if Eric will be able to convience Zach to come to his side and together they can elimate one or both of D&D.
It is still anyone's game as to who will be the F2.
Aww! I'm so happy Zach found a friend in Joe Cool Rubber Ducky! He was trying to play with his HOH frisbee earlier and no one would play with him >:-((

Frankly, I think Dick might have a shot with Janelle. Will ran roughshod over her and she seemed to really like that. Howie was a lout and they were best buds.

A piece of advice for someone who had a biting pussy named LadyHigh. My bleoved pussy Junior who died just last year was also a biter. I tried everything to make him stop: scolding, spanking, even one major beating with a tv guide but nothing worked. Finally, I threw his little behind in the shower and turned it one. After three good showers, he decided he would stop biting and scratching too. He never bite me again. Oh, he wanted to, you could see it in his eyes, but he never did.

Once again we are getting a glimpse of the Jessica that first showed up in the BB house. With her back against the wall (1. Carol in the house 2.Zack nominating her) she definitely pulls out the nastiness. She left a bad taste in my mouth since episode 1 and her laying low and sweetness never had me fooled. She was outright rude & mean to Zack last night and was so a typical "mean girl" in her attitude. Plus watching the Nomination ceremony, Zack did look at her as he spoke, even though she claimed he couldn't even look her in the eye during it. Then her comment of him nominating her only because he was afraid to go after D&D. Boy, what is with the delusional "Turd Hurd"???

~ D&D have been the only ones to give him the time of day (yes they talked of getting rid of him, but he also did the same of them). But for the most part D&D has spoken of strategy with Zack more than E&J.
~She toyed/teased with Zack to get him to vote her way, then nominated him.
With all this, she can't understand why he nominated her and actually thinks he did because he was afraid of D&D??? Zack is the only one who doesn't mind telling Dick where to go when he doesn't like what is being said to him.
I really think the "good people/turd hurd" have all drank some really bad stuff, because they all hallucinate and actually believe the crap they are saying.
I know I'll be voting for the "mean girl" to go this week!!!

wow, what a whiney bitch Jessica is being. Zoetawny, you said it when you stated that Jessica could be sugary sweet when things go her way, but a "mean girl" when they don't. She proved that last night. Eric was trying to cheer her up and she became bitchy towards him. Then left him and went outside with Jameka so the two of them could pout and for Jess to plan on "throwing Dick & Dani under the bus". Then Zach was cooking and asked Jess if she wanted him to make her something and she yelled at him to "go to hell". Gee, Jess a little upset because Zach paid you back for putting him on the block?

As for BB8, I think much of the problem with Dani and Jess is their age. They are just young, and when you are young the world revolves around you. They are also quite attractive, so I'm sure they are used to being adored.
That said, you'd think Jess would take a cue from ED (of all people). Once he had saved Dani from the block, he left everyone alone and just told them he was sorry and he wanted to spend his last few days with his daughter. (Of course, he got a miracle save later and now his daughter is tired of him, but you get my point.)
Why can't Jess just enjoy her last few days with Eric? Answer: (my apologies for all of you dreaming of a more romantic answer) It was strictly a showmance and she doesn't care for Eric at all. She used Eric and the showmance to further her cause and now that she thinks her cause is lost, she has no use for him.
Strategically, it makes sense to oust Jess. Personally, I'd respect Dick and Dani more if they tossed Jameeka. So far, Dick has been pretty true to his peeps. While I would like him to be true to Zack also, ousting Jameeka would be the last easy vote without needing to destroy alliances.

Actaully, he was just tickled pink to get out of there and quite compliant. I can still see him running around in circles trying to figure out how to get the H**L out of there. I miss him. Out of all my other pets, he was the one with the foulest temper and for some reason I loved him best. Perhaps because he was the only who didn't take crap from anyone.
Anyway after that, he became the sweetest cat in the whole world. At least to me.

How's Jessica going to feel if we vote AP and make Eric vote her off??? It will be interesting to see how she responds to him then.I still think she may have a small amount of feeling for Eric,but she now blames him for the noms and vote last time and her not getting Zach out when they had the chance. Even dick is regretting not getting him out,but I,for one,am soooo glad that Amber is gone.

I'll admit I felt a little ashamed after watching Jessica and her brother on the phone, yet most mean girls have families that think they are wonderful young ladies because it's not their families that bear the brunt, they already have the family wrapped around their finger before they step out.

A caller said that he met Jennifer recently (two years since the show), and apparently said something about being a fan of the show. Jennifer's mother became automatically protective and asked him if he was good or bad.

Sometimes Zach's play reminds me of the Survivor first season guy who voted alphabetically, at other times I think Zach has a major move planned and waiting to execute it. Too bad he will be on the jury before he gets the last detail figured out.
Jessica, you can't throw D & D under the bus, the bus left the station last time you and Eric were cuddling in the HOH bed. Little girl voice made little girl choices by letting the guy decide who to nom and evict. And, imo, Eric is acting sad and lonely because he knows at some point Jessica will know everything he has said and done in the house...including his comments before they were a couple.
Which reminds me: How mean was that of BB to give Zach a toy that only two or more can play???!! He should have at least taken it to the pool for his duck friend to ride on. And give these guys the Dirty Word Scrabble board game, it would fit their vocab skills best.

I think after this week's eviction, and including the double quickie eviction, it will be whoever wins HOH as to whether DD or EJ have more power, because whoever has HOH, they will put up 2 people, & the one's that are left will be the one's voting someone out - right now, Zack doesn't have any more power to get rid of someone - it's up to Eric (us) Dick and Danielle
IMO, the biggest difference between Dick & Will is that Will has "charisma" Dick doesn't - charisma isn't something you can get, you either have it or you don't

Jessica had her chance to make the big move and get rid of either Dick or Daniele, but she let Eric convince her to stick with the alliance. So now she's paying the price. I knew D&D would turn on them first chance they got, and to say that this way there's no blood on their hands is stupid - if Jess goes home, it will be because they turned on the alliance and voted her out when they could have easily voted out Jameka. They certainly can't use the excuse of going along with the HOH, because with Daniele holding the POV, Zach has no power over them.

Yes, I saw that episode. I think they were talking about how outside of the show a lot of those HG's who have major fights/hates inside the house then are fine afterwards because "it's a game". She mentioned that there was a lot of gossip or something surrounding Maggie and she ended up losing her job.
Funny, I do remember Maggie (and didn't care for her at all) but I can't even remember who Beau was. When she referred to Jennifer, was that Nakomis or am I just mixing things up? I just don't remember a whole lot of the HG's once it's all over.
I agree with the "mean girl" characterization of Jessica, have thought so from the start, especially with how she treated/talked about Carol. I watched Carol on Housecalls after her eviction and I thought she carried herself very well. It also was clear that she did not have much idea about BB and that she had moved on in her life beyond high school and junior high.
Even though I thought her a mean girl from the beginning, I have thought Jessica was playing smart in being able to lay low and appear likeable for quite a while (and despite that voice!). At this point, I have to agree with the poster who said she seemed to just be letting Eric lead her decisions. Oh well, isn't it at the point when things get tough anyway when they get down to so few HG's? Jesscia knows this like anyone else. I'm thinking Thursday should be very interesting!

I totally agree. I'm not sure how Dani thinks that there is no blood on her hands. She and Richard are 2 of the 3 votes to evict. I think it is still possible for Eric to use this fact to turn around the vote.
If Richard and Dani really don't want blood on their hands, they would have to vote out Jameeka.
Strategically, I'm not sure it makes that much difference. Jameeka can't compete for HOH this week, but at this point POV is just as important or more so. Whether it is Eric, Dani and Richard competing for HOH or Eric, Jess, Dani and Richard probably isn't a huge difference.
And, I was warming up to Jess but her new attitude is off-putting. I mean, after all, she did contemplate backdooring Dani last week. She can't really be that mad about being front-doored by Dani through Zack.
OH Orkmommy: From your post of last night...sorry you missed the show. I'm pretty sure you probably know this already but you can watch full episodes of the show on the CBS site. Just go to "video" and I think they post them the next day.

I thought Eric would give Jessica the call from home. I was hoping that "puppy love" would not blind him and he would have given it to Jameka. Maybe Eric thought Jameka would be leaving sooner, not sure what he is thinking.

One would think with nothing to do in the house, they would change it up a bit. They put the phrase "I'm over worked and under paid" to good use.

I was dreaming that I was in the BB house this morning when my 4yr old crawled into bed with us. My live-in boyfriend was on his way to the bathroom and she told me she needed to go potty. Well, I was still dozing and the dream was fresh in my mind. I didn't know if he was actually using the bathroom or just brushing his teeth so I yelled "Eric...are you..." and I stopped. Because his name isn't Eric.

I had not heard the Maggie rumor. And it says a lot about this season's hgs that I am more curious about past seasons than this one...enough to even be curious about Maggie! Sasha (I think it was your question), I am not a student of BB, and will need to be corrected if I have this wrong. The 'Jennifer' mentioned was probably "Jen" the one who broke her promise in the HOH comp. If Maggie lost her job, (she was a nurse) my guess is it was over her bad mouthing patients while in the house and on live feeds. Many people complained that it was unethical for a professional to do...it was also unnecessary to game play. She was just being Maggie and talking ugly. I agree with you, I often can't remember names of past hgs. Funny since they become pretty important to me while they are in the house. Out of sight, out of mind. Sue

Actually, funny that you should mention it because I had a Survivor dream last night. First time ever! And it's not even currently on.
We were in a hut in the jungle and we were doing a challenge and Jeff Probst was looking over my shoulder and criticizing the way I was doing it. (It was something about arranging groups of 3 similar items.) There were all of these items in 3 separate boxes for 3 different rounds of the game. I found out, just before I woke up, that I was using the wrong box.
Can anyone interpret my dream for me? Do you think it is related to classes beginning today?

Jennifer Vasquez (BB6) was the petite dark haired girl who gave Kaysar her word she wouldn't nominate him, so he let go of a button during a comp. That gave her the win, and she went back on her word.
The houseguests went crazy, the viewers went crazy, banner planes flew, websites against her were launched.
Nakomis was also a Jennifer. Nakomis was on Season 5.
Just so you don't think I'm crazy...I don't remember everyone and everything from all the seasons, just the good stuff.

Kaysar was the worst player ever, but one of the most popular. Y'know in some ways he reminds me of Mike this year: nice guy, wanted to maintain his integrity, couldn't stay in the game to save his life.
Kaysar must hold the record for evictions, doesn't he? He was kicked out 3 times over 2 seasons.
Actually, I think most of the boring guests are gone. Events in the house are quite interesting, it just takes too long to unfold.
HOH, POV, eviction - 2 hours work stretched over an entire week.
If anything, I think the problem wasn't the HGs but the editing. Did they change the crew or something?
In past years, you'd see a lot more of the house guests relating to each other. This season had characters:
Jen and Amber were looney tunes, always good for a laugh.
Eric was annoying, but very active/vocal.
Dick was...well, Dick.
Dani was up and down like a yo-yo. I love Nick, I evict Nick, 153 Nick all over again. Hate my Dad, love my Dad, hate my Dad.
Dustin was a pompous jerk, but he was amusing.
There was the rise and fall of the Mrs. Robinson alliance, the Late Night Crew, the Little Julie Chen alliance.
We had a showmance.
Somehow when they cut it all together, they managed to turn One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest into The Teletubbies.
Frankly, I partly blame AP. They spent waaaaay too much time setting up and then showing stunts for Eric to do. And that was all very mundane and boring - but we spent 15 minutes every episode showing it.
I also think they should have given them more liquor and toys. That usually fueled the HGs at night.

How quickly everything changes in the house...I'm a little disappointed that D,D aren't sticking with the final 4 agreement. I agree with others that taking out Jess may be their best move strategically. I would think that Jameka would have to be next as she can compete again after the next HOH. It may make Eric mad enough to finally DO something!
