Here on the East Coast, the show is starting. As it airs, I'll constantly (well, very frequently) be updating this entry. Please feel free to comment and have a good time! Please forgive any typos as I'm watching the show, too!
We're into a brief season recap now. Dick just re-won the final HOH. And the show should really begin soon.
Look! The blocked feeds are on the plasma screen!
Zach arrives at sequester after Dustin least wants to see Zach. Jen wants to see Dick walk through the door ... and it's ZACH! Eric tells him he would have won six to one.
America's Player -- Who should Eric campaign and vote for to win? Dick. Eric thinks we chose wisely. The jury doesn't seem to like Eric's idea. He goes into car salesman mode, talking up Dick and down Daniele. Amber looks like she's going to cry. Jen is very against Dick, but all of a sudden Amber is defending Dick and telling Jen whe flipflopped.
They start looking at the game the two played. Zach brings up the competition winning. Eric brings up Dick's victories. Amber says Dick played for two people. She said Dick played "awesome." Jessica is pro-Dick win, too. Daniele is the pimp, E.D. is the ho according to Jameka. Evel or Evel Spawn will win comes from Dustin.
The jury questioning -- help me in comments if I don't type fast enough, guys.
Dustin -- Dick, knowing that your daughter said I'll carry my daad with me because he's a terrible person and I'll win. Dick is hppy, strongest team.
Amber for Daniele -- Why give the vote, you're a pathetic person for doing what you did to your BF with Nick. D -- I don't want your vvote if based on personal life.
Jessica -- Who other than Daniele to sit with (to Dick) -- Pnly Daniele. Tough decision.
Eric -- Dick -> each jury member deserve to be in the final two? Dustin, Jen, Amber.. do not deserve, mentions Amber and good people. Jessica didn't bloody hands, Eric played best, Jameka was given chance, Zach almost made it.
Zach - What have you learned from each jury member -- Daniele will take Eric's humor, Amber heart and Mom of the house. Dick learned from Dustin to be careful with power, says Jen has a real person down in there, Jameka best hearted person, Zach run for the money don't underestimate will and heart.
Jameka - Not using your father to advance in the game, biggest move. Eric thing, backdooring Jen
Jen -- Hello, it's me, don't respect you as people. Dick did you build relationship with Daniele? Dick shocked w/question beginning to build normalcy, ends with if you don't know you're an idiot. Daniele thinks they made a lot out of it and there's no one esle she wants to sit next to. Dick played the game hard, strategy to work with Jessica and Eric. He feels the worse about turning on Jessica and Eric. He did a lot of the dirty work. We won.
Speech session over, D&D alone -- she accuses him of campaigning against her.
Jury coming in. Amber looks HORRIBLE! Jessica and Jen look nice. Eric looks Eric-y, Jameka very pretty. Zach looks Zach-like. He should have worn a bunny suit.
D&D are in the house, Julie is out with the crowd and the jury. Daniele says it was nice to spend time with her Dad and she's happy. Time for the jury to cast their votes.
Jurors put each key in the box, one statement.
Eric -- 1 - Clearcut choice good luck
Jameka - 2 - Vote for one whose game she respects
Dustin - 3 - Based on strategic action, not just words
Jen - 4 - I'd rather not, but must
Zach - 5 - Longest, blah-blah
Amber -6 - Congrats, close to both, based on game strategic purpose, whoops
Jessica - 7 - Voting for the person I enjoyed more in the house, may the best Donato win
The first five evicted will be coming in next.
Julie is with Dick's Mom and his son Vincent -- Daniele's grandmother who raised her and her brother. Charlotte is happy that they made strides in rebuilding the relationship. Vincent says he's always like that but it got him where he is in the game.
Nick's hair has grown in. He gets to talk to Daniele. Awkward says Daniele in a high voice.
Carol is asked about Jessica -- kind of proud, but there were some personal words. Joe said he liked watching Dustin fall apart, but congrats ... you got far. Dustin doesn't reply. Mike was rooting for Zach. Kail not surprised that Dick made it that far.
Time to reveal the big twist -- America's Player. Tells jury and Donatos. "One of you has a secret, one has not played alone, one is not who you appear to be."
This is HILARIOUS! I couldn't type through it.
Jessica is speechless. Not mad at him.
Dick benefited from the AP -- Julie talks to Dick. He thought he made a great power play and it was all Eric. Awesome, wow!
Daniele -- Knew mustard and votes, hilarious.
Dustin -- Eric can sell anything, enjoyed paradise. Jameka says it makes sense to her, she never could trust him. Jen now understands America mustarded her shirt. Eric tells Dustin and Amber he's sorry. Eric tells Jessica that he wanted to tell her for so long, but everything he said to her about them was true.
Julie tells them Eric cast the vote for America tonight.

Y'all happy with this outcome? I think this was actually one of the better season finales. The America's Player reveal was better than the twist itself.

Thank you all for such a fun summer. I had several work days where nothing much got done because I was checkin' the blog. It was one of the first things I did when I got there and one of the first I did when I got home. I've spent many an evening with my laptop in my recliner arguing, laughing, crying (Terry in CA...you're still in my prayers!) with all of you! I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable place to feed my dirty addiction (television!).
And yes, I'll be around for Survivor. My mom introduced me to Jackie last summer and I've been a daily visitor since!
I'm going to read all this tomorrow at work... but I must say, this was the best of the best!!!!! Julie was great... Reaction to Eric was great... I just enjoyed every bit of this.
I heard Julie say to Daniele that the Wrap Party is on Thursday. I think Daniele thought it was tonight. Did I hear that correctly.

All season long I've been afraid to say that just once I'd love to see the one I want to win actually win. I thought I might jinx it or something. Well, it finally happened! Dick won. I've been vocal about wanting him to win, but usually, in other seasons, I've been disappointed. Not this year. I'm so happy, I can't stand myself.

ORKMommy - They have a notable blogs thingee, but nothing by number. My numbers this season actually weren't as high as the last two because AOL didn't link me this year -- with reason, though. AOL owns Weblogs, Inc. - who owns TV Squad. They linked my feeds reports for there, but not here.
I loved that they showed Jameka saying that something wasn't right. I really thought she might have run with that except that she really didn't have anyone in the house to talk to at that time. She was the only one who really gave it a serious pause.
I wonder if their reactions will be different when they find out about Eric's prize money.
I sure hope CBS gave Amber a heads-up. I tend to doubt that they did though.

I loved the camera on her face, as Julie spoke of the twist and how someone wasn't who they seemed this season. It looked to be like Amber was thinking, "Is it me?" "Am I the twist?
And OrkMommy, You said Amber looked bored while standing behind Julie at the end. I think Amber was reading the teleprompter and was slightly confused. Were there some big words in the sign off message?

YES!!!!!! Soooooo happy Dick won. Thought the show was great. Loved the AP reveal and the look on Ambers face when they kept showing Eric holding up Americas choice for eviction and her name was there. She looked crushed... Glad the "good people" knew that America didn't like them.
Ambers personal attack on Daniele was to be expected since I'm sure she was unable to come up with a "game" question. She didn't know how to play the game in the house, what makes us think she would be any different in the jury?? Besides, it was her, in the first episode that declared "sparks" between her and Nick. The girl is lost.... I seriously feel for her mental health and hope she has a good support system at home.
The fact that the jury tells Zack that he would have won 6-1 made me laugh and @@... It is easier to say that when he is the jury. Since most of the jury rewarded game play over personal, I doubt they would have rewarded Zack for his 2-3 weeks of game play over Dicks entire season. Joe in NY was right, if they had voted for Zack to win, it wouldn't have been a Zack win, it would have been a "anyone but a Donato" win.

Well friends, I'm so sorry I missed the party with you last night. I had to be somewhere else, adn got back too late last night to watch my tivo'd version. But as my husband went to bed I sat up and scrolled through all your comments here and literally was laughing out loud, when I wasn't snickering or cackling. Day after thoughts...Dick hugged his mom son...Dani hugged Nick. Since Dick's mom raised her you'd think she'd care a bit about the woman...but not Dani. No wonder her real mom didn't show...lives close by the Donatos but is remarried with two kids. Could be Dani is unlikable. America preferred dirty Dick...and so did I. There was just something so smug about that girl/woman that made me want to slap her face numerous times, esp. after the jury interviewed them and Dick tried so hard to throw all the votes to her and she berates him. Like he said...You can't win with her. I hope he takes his son with him on his travels...seems like a nice young man...and maybe a part of the trip with mom too...she raised not only him but his kids.
nora in ohio... Dani did hug her grandmother immediately after hugging Nick. You could have missed it because she was hidden by Dick and Vincent, but she did give her a big hug. I still have it on tape.
I think we should be careful about being so open as to real identities on the blog. I mean I would love to tell everyone who I am and what I do, but this anonymous person who accuses joe of being a stalker, might in fact be trying to learn joe's identiy so (s)he can stalk him.

Anon 1:18... Yes, Dick's son did say that, but he also said that everyone should remember that it is just game. I've always said that I liked Dick because he didn't hide behind a fake persona,but was who he is, love or hate him. Quote the entire thing, or not at all.
I'm surprised no one mentioned Amber's hypocrisy at criticizing Jen for Dick's bashing. It isn't like ANYONE else ever stood up for Jen. I just saw on the CBS website (rest of the interview from the Early show) that Nick will be moving to Orange County to be with Nick. I think it's kinda cute.
Evel is still baffled about the whole AP but I still say HE played a great game. Like he said as awful as he was to them, they all still voted for him to win. Congrats Evel, I'm glad someone I wanted to win finally won.
last night dick told jessica he never lied to her.....um, how about when he gave her his word that she was safe....hhhmmm..that makes two lies!
OOPS- I just reread my comment. I meant Nick will be moving to be with Daniele. Sorry about that. I just don't know how Jackie does it. I can't even keep up with my own thoughts. I couldn't imagine having to write a blog while watching it on live tv. You have a gift Jackie. Thanks so much.

2nd: I find it disturbing that all that DICK did has been forgotten simply because he "won". This hero worship is also disturbing, particularly, since we saw what this man is made of-pure rage. He only won since he was the best of two evils. I'm saddened that people can look up to someone who distroys peoples self esteem and thinks nothing of it. He is a horrible, nasty, rude, crude, jerk.

orkmommy...i totally agree with you that eric had the hardest game to play of all. hard in so many ways.....having to go against alliances for a vote and being found out...having feelings for jessica and not being able to be honest....frustration of not being able to vote the way he wanted to vote....that had to be really difficult. kudos for lasting as long as he did! and with it all....some of it was the funniest stuff i ever saw!
I noticed something interesting last night when reading the Eligibility Requirements for BB, Daniele did not meet them. I know it is too late for this to matter and besides, the Producers obviously knew that she did not meet the requirements. Requirement #6 states; 'You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application'. Daniele turned 21 in the house. Just goes to show you that rules are meant to be broken, at least where BB Producers are concerned.
meb - Not really a problem, but once folks (not just you) respond to something which I'd like to remove, all of a sudden it's a conversation on its own and if I remove it folks get upset. It's much easier to remove these when it's one anonymous personal remark than after the fact.
But it's not just you and it's happened before. I'd prefer those kind of comments just get ignored.

Did you see the faces of Amber et al when it dawned on them that the viewers chose to evict Dustin over Dick? There was definitely a hint of "what the hell is wrong with America" there, and I loved it.
anon 6:06 - If you go to cbs morning show and click on videos, you scroll down and there are 2 videos. The one they showed on the morning show when they got there checks and there is another one that lasts 11 or 12 mins. That's when Nick is brought up by Julie and actually Evel answers the question.
Anon 4:54 - It has been brought up here before, Evel had to sign a waiver so Daniele could be in the house. Quit looking for the conspiracy theories. The season is over. Let it go.
I am so dissapointed that either of them won...was so hoping for an upset (Jen sure whould have done it!) by the jury not voting for Evil or Dani. At least she didn't win, & even seemed okay about it.
Connie looked like a mess! I am not into the fashion bit, but I do notice the clothes she wears & last nites choice was a disaster. That sweater style sucks, looked like she had it on upside down, inside out & twisted. LOL And then the necklace, oh! wow.
Ambers baby frock was a shocker, too. Jes & Jam looked very beautiful & I was dissapointed that Jen didn't wear something more dressy.
Was glad that Dani shot down good person Amber with her retort about her personal life outside the BB house...Amber was done for, I bet she is still thinking about it.
Now I'm ready for Survivor!

Did everyone see Chicken George, Kaysar, Howie and Janelle in the audience last night? They acknowledged CG, K and H with their names across the bottom of the screen, but not Janelle for some reason. They showed her twice as D&D came out of the house and out into the audience. She was a few rows up and not smiling at all. Chicken George, Kaysar and Howie all looked great! And yes, Orkmommy, Howie did look a bit heavier. I couldn't figure out what he was saying to the camera though.

I didn't see CG, maybe I FF'ed throu him & missed him. I had to rewind for Howie and Kayser. Janelle's name did appear on the screen, either going to or coming back from one of the commercials. But she was shown on camera more than once and the name was only shown one time.
I must have missed Janelle's name on the screen, but I saw George before they showed Howie and Kaysar. He had a huge smile on his face . Gotta love that guy!
Janie's name and Big Brother All Stars was shown early in the show. You can rewatch the show at cbs.com. She and her mother got a lot of camera time and was smiling, laughing, and waving a 'We trust the Donatos' sign during much of the show.
She did look sad or subdued when the winner was announced. From what she said on Housecalls and elsewhere, she was rooting for Dani for the win. She may have been disappointed in the results or even the reaction to Eric as America's Player and his success in his final task. She didn't like him as a person, but felt he was a good player.
Or maybe someone stepped on her foot - who knows :-)
