'Grey's Anatomy' - Fall 2007 - Blog Meet-Up Discussion Post
Are you a fan of Grey's Anatomy? Do you want to talk about the show or its characters with blog friends?
Well, here's the spot!
The show's official website is located at ABC.com Grey's Anatomy and your show talk can certainly be located right here.
Alright!!! Bring on Grey's! This is going to be another great year and can't wait to see what they have in store for us. Gayle and dla... looking forward to discussing the show with you and all others who join us!
I'll be there too ladies! Grey's is my favorite show right now!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!
Is anyone gonna try that new Private Practice with Addison? It's on tomorrow night at 9/8C. I'll give it a go, but I'm not too sure about it. There are some good actors in it...
I will definitely be watching Private Practice as Addison was always my favorite on Grey's. I liked what I saw during the dual show of Grey's last year and I hope they keep the comedic tone to keep it a little different than Grey's. As far as Grey's I'm excited that Chyler Leigh joined the cast, she's had a rough go of failed pilots, this could be good for her. Also, I hope they give Izzie a new love interest this season, someone that isn't already on the show.
I'll check it out to see if I like it(Private Practice). I usually watch Criminal Minds in that timeslot, but that's no problem because I can tape Criminal Minds.
Caroline ~
I really want Izzie to find another love interest too, not someone else's man!
Hey orkmommy... I have two other shows in that time slot, which are being taped, so I won't be able to watch Private Practice. I do like Amy Brennan (Judging Amy) and the men on the show aren't too shabby either, but ... just too much to see, so little time.
I have to say the kid they show as eye candy (surfing dude/ receptionist) doesn't do it for me. He's too young.
From previews it appears Izzy and George are still at it!!! But I too hope they give her a new love relationship.
Did anyone else read that Meredith and Cristina return from Cristina's honeymoon? Poor Derek. I hope he and Meredith get themselves straightened out. Derek seemed to have an interest in Meredith's half-sister at the end of last season. Keeping it in the family I guess. Hmmmmm.
Just wanted to say "hi" to all. I don't watch Grey's- I know, I live in the Seattle area, too. It's almost like being American and not liking Apple Pie)!! Enjoy your new season!!!
Well..I almost agree with all of you...but what i really wish that Grey`s will continue as it is if not better not as most of the other TV shows that start to go down after the 4th or 5th season.....we shall wait and see..
What did you think of Private Practice?? I enjoyed it! And I believe I read somewhere that the first episode was the weakest, so it looks like it could be on my Fall TV schedule. :)
Did anyone watch Dirty Sexy Money? I really liked that one, as well, so I now have my Wednesday night line up!
I look forward to reading everyone's thoughts, and see you tomorrow night for Greys!
I started watching Private Practice and drifted off to sleep towards the end - not that it was dull, but I was extremely tired after a very busy day. I'll watch it next week and make a decision on whether I'll continue or not. I was happy to see Amy Brennerman? from the Judging Amy - I really like her. See you tomorrow after Grey's!
I was impressed with Private Practice. The problem I usually have with a new show is the chemistry between cast members. It usually takes at least half the season for the actors to start to become their characters and learn how to interact with each other. That was definitely not the case here. This cast seemed to work very well together! I love Amy Brenneman and really miss Judging Amy. Glad to see her back on the small screen!
I enjoyed Private Practice last night. Especially liked the opening of her dancing in her towel to The Scissor Sisters. I think that kind of set the relaxed, laid back, California tone that will separate this show from Grey's. Plus Tim Daly is still as cute as he was in his Wings days, so that's a bonus. If the show only gets better from here, than that's exciting news.
As for Dirty Sexy Money, had to Tivo that while I watched Top Chef so I'm glad to hear that all who watched seemed to enjoy it. This first week of the new season has been hectic. Not sure how I'll keep up with everything. I might have to use some days off from work just to catch up with my Tivo. LOL.
Good to see some familiar names here. I didn't like the Izzie George angle last season, but still watched every episode. And Nana, the young doctors/residents on the show use the word 'Seriously' often. Seriously, they do. Sue
Did not enjoy Private Practice, much to my surprise. Too slow. The beginning was cute, but I thought it went downhill from there. Typical TV medicine stuff, nothing new. It can only get better with time, I hope. Pilots are usually sub-par; it takes a while for the cast to meld & get into a rythum. Dirty, sexy, money or whatever the name of the show is was pretty interesting. The cast is fun if nothing else. So glad most of the new season is here. Batchelor was as usual. I too am surprised it has been on for this long. I like to watch because of the way the girls behave around each other. Drinking too much & loosing your boobs is standard, as is the "other" chicks who just like to watch the wild ones make fools of themselves, & think they are hoitey toitey, Gods gift to man. These girls will be fun to watch, but not as much fun as was any of Flavor Flav's girl candidates...they are a real hoot!
i wasn't all that enthused with private practice. so, it will be a take or or leave it show. not sure what it's up against, so i'll have to check something else out next week.
my dilemma tonight. grey's or csi. i really want to see if sara lives or dies but then i don't want to miss grey's either. i guess i can flip around. i don't have tivo or a recorder.
totally missed kid nation last night due to dancing with the stars.
all summer NOTHING and now everything at once.
i did watch the dirty rich blood money show (not the right name, can't think of it right now), which was interesting - i'll be sure to watch it again. looks like it will be a decent night time soap type show.
okay, so now i went back and read everyone's comments. a little azz backwards, but.
the name of the show i was talking about is dirty sexy money. i was kind of close.
sue, you said everyone on grey's said 'seriously' too much. it was like danielle on big brother - everything was prefaced with "honestly". that was getting old too.
i had to laugh. ellen degeneres was interview taye diggs (yummmmm) and called him mc chocolatey. i laughed, as did he. (he is fine).
Maryanne I understand your indecisiveness about what to watch - Grey's or CSI. I tape & watch Survivor, watch Grey's and tape CSI. ABC.com shows full episodes of it's primetime shows so that's always an option, but I like to watch Grey's when it's on. I used to tape both Grey's and CSI and found myself having too many tapes to watch and so far behind on the show!
gayle, wish i had the ability to tape. the VCR isn't hooked up, i should have thought about it earlier and now, forget it. i'll start looking for cables and whatnot and then find something else and get sidetracked and next thing you know it will be tomorrow and i will never have accomplished what i set out to do.
i decided to sit and flip back and forth. i'm almost sure sara won't be found until the last 5 minutes - part of me wants her off the show, but i'd still like to see it.
greys will be talked about here, so i can check in and ask questions on what i miss or i can go to abc and watch it in full like you suggested.
Maryanne you can watch full episodes of both shows on-line the next day. CBS.com (Innertube) and ABC.com their full episode player.
If looks could KILL - Meredith would have killed Lexi when she heard her name. Remember Derek flirted with Lexi (Meredith's half-sister) on the last show.
Lesa~ I think they met when she was in the hospital. Their father introduced them. Remember when Meredith went to dinner over her father's house? I think their father pointed Lexi out in the hospital. I'm a little fuzzy on the details.
** i just checked IMDB and lexi was on the intern testing episode last year so i would assume that she had met merideth, but maybe she didn't recongnize her? because lexi did ask which one she was, and merideth didn't seem to know who she was**
also, the whole part outside the nursery didn't eem to make sense because she (lexi) kept saying how she didn't want to be there so why was she?
I think there were alot of someone confusing parts this week because they are trying to add in too many people while following everyone elses story.
Yea I agree Gayle but it would be great that they bring on or get her into another guy!! I am like you usually don't want to see married unions broke up but what Izzy & George have is wonderland.
I loved last nite's episode. I got all teary when the little girl blinked 3 times! Very good episode. I also agreee that Dr. Bailey should have been Chief Resident. I never really liked Callie. it feels like she was rushed into a major storyline with Geroge. I dont really like George with Izzie either. Next week should be interesting.
Mer has two half sisters, Molly and Lexie. Molly was in the hospital last season having her baby and Merideth had to help because there were complications. Neither sister knew about Merideth until recently.
I soooo don't want George and Izzie together. I didn't like Callie at first, but she's grown on me.
I was upset that Bailey didn't get Chief Resident until the Chief had that talk with her about focusing on surgery. I agree that Bailey should do that instead of scheduling and what-not. I think we'll see Bailey helping Callie out and they may even become friends!
I was kind of waffling as to whether or not to watch Grey's this season. I was really annoyed that they got rid of the Burke character. I loved him and Christina together. Bailey is my favorite on the show - she takes no crap from anyone. I hate Izzy and George together - just not at all believable to me. I thought he was lucky to get Callie, and now he bags Izzy? Just seems like they are trying to build George up into a heartthrob, and its not working for me. We already have McDreamy and McSteamy, what would his name be McWhiney?
RBennie, I agree. They do seem to be pushing George into an unbelievable relationship with Izzy. The Beauty and the Geek type of relationship. IMHO George is too nice for Izzy! Izzy would get tired of George fast and move on to a more challenging man. Callie loving George is a big bonus for him! I think Izzy is drawn into the competition of winning George from Callie and not for himself.
I agree with you Gayle, Izzy has never been into the "nice guy" before, so unless they drastically change George's personality, she'll be bored with him pdq.
Orkmommy you're right about Meredith having 2 half-sisters. I remember the last episode when Lexie and McDreamy met. I lumped both sisters into Lexie. I knew Lexie was related to Meredith but forgot how it played out in that episode.
I think McDreamy is going to play Meredith and Lexie against each other since their breakup last night led to makeup sex!
Gayle - I disagree...I don't think Derrick will play them against each other. I read an interview with Shonda Rhimes and she said that "Derrick loves Merideth". After he lit into McSteamy last night, I have to think he loves her almost too much!
I must have a different opinion of Izzie. I don't want to see her with George but I also don't see her hurting him. She really seems to be in love with him and it's tearing her apart. I don't think she wants to break up his marriage, but she can't let him go. I really like Izzie, she's one of my favorites.
We have to think of a name for George that rhymes with McDreamy & McSteamy. Any ideas?
I really like Izzy too. I just don't get her and George as a couple. I think her and George are actually a lot alike, but she needs a more (I don't want to say manly, but that's what I mean)type of guy.
I agree with you Orkmommy that McDreamy is totally in love with Meredith, but I think she's going to push him away one time too many and he'll turn to Lexie (at least for a one night stand). Just think of all the drama that would ensue! Meredith just has so many issues. She's like a time bomb waiting to explode.
I have a feeling that they might bring back that doctor from Christina's past from last season as a love interest for her. I really hope they don't though, I hated that guy.
Now they need a woman for McSteamy. I want lots of opportunities to see him shirtless!
Orkmommy I got that feeling when he told her about his flirting with someone else which eventually led to the makeup sex. I agree with RBennie that Meredith may unknowingly push him away once during a weak moment and he will go to her half-sister for a one night stand. I feel the love, but also see their insecurities.
As for Izzie - I think she genuinely cares for George, but again agree with RBennie that he is not a "manly" man or strong enough to hold her affections for long. I don't think her intent would be to hurt George, it would just happen when she moved on to a "tarzan" with finesse type man.
Oh my word, I am so glad to find a place to chat about Grey's. I was SCREAMING when George told Izzie he loves her, and now I know other people get that into it too!
Regarding the George thing, is Callie BLIND? I mean, it is so clear that George is not into her. As for Izzie, I wish that she would stay away from George. He never dealt with his father's death, remember? I totally think he ran to marry Callie to escape dealing with his emotions. Then Izzie swooped in because she was lonely and boom - explosion.
With Meredith and Derek, I think M is actually quite on top of her "issues" and D is attracted to what he perceives as her neediness. No matter what, though, I LOVE them together. He looked at her with such love last night-can you imagine him looking at you that way? I would die.
On Christina, seemed like her and Alex had a moment. THAT would be interesting.
I think Izzie is drawn to people and events she can't have. Say no to her and she is on the prowl to get the forbidden fruit. A doctor in love with a patient? The married sweet guy? Give her a rule and she'll break it. Even being a model and then a doctor might show she is going against type. Maybe the writers didn't draw her that way, but I see her as always pushing the boundries.
I saw the sister as a new love interest for George. He was in love with Meredith and Lexie seems more grounded in reality...sort of Meredith Lite in the complicated high maintence way of girl friends. Meredith has issues, layers of them. Lexie had a stable childhood, (similar to Georges). I saw more spark in their brief convo in front of the babies then with anyone else George has been involved with. It is painful to watch him and Izzie together. I just know she will move on when the urge strikes her. Sue
Hi all! I read some Grey's comments under the Surivor entry. I didn't get a chance to watch the entire show and comment until tonight. I'm so glad Izzie told George to wait awhile before telling Callie about them. I believe Callie will get pregnant and George will never tell her that he's in love with Izzie. Who knows - Callie's pregancy may rekindle his feelings for her.
Also, if Callie does get pregnant Bailey may get her job back (temporarily) as Chief Resident.
The writers have written an "impossible" storyline for George. I think Callie will find she is pregnant and George will be too honorable to leave her; but he won't be "into" the marriage which is sad for both of them. Agree Izzy and George make an odd couple...she does seem to want only what she can't have. Whether on a tv program or in reality, it's hard to build a happy marriage on the foundation of having broken up a marriage. There is a lot of guilty baggage whether you choose to "own" it or not. If they do break up I'd like to see Callie with McSteamy. And I agree, eventually Izzy will fall for some studly guy and George will be relegated back to best friend.
Hey Gayle, I am here but I don't know for how long. I have major computer problems. It is either running incredibly slow or it decides what it wants to load and when. This episode hasn't been all that for me. I don't see George's marriage lasting long but I don't see a relationship with Izzie either.
You can download CCleaner at CCleaner.com - it's free and it works real good at keeping your computer clean of garbabge. For a disk defrag - I use AusLogics Disk Defrag - it's FAST and thorough and also free.
Thanks for the advice Gayle. I took it in to work today and had a co-worker do just that but when I hooked it back up I had the same issues. I will have to see exactly what he did tomorrow and try something else.
Callie is making me sick. She needs to get a back bone. She is not making me feel sorry for her like I want to. I am not a big fan of cheating husbands and I want to be on her side.
Tessa I forgot to watch last night. I watched the first 2 episodes and really like it. I had CBS on and forgot to turn the channel at 8:00 p.m. I really like Criminal Minds too. I tape it and CSI NY, but had a memory lapse last night about Privat Practice.
I am blanking on whats his name name, but he was a complete jerk(that is putting it nicely) to George. Just when I want to like him he goes and acts like that.
Tessa you mean the one who fell in love with the lady with the badly burned face.
I'm going to have to watch this episode again online because I missed the little nuances. I'll watch last night's Private Practice too since I forgot all about it. Grey's knows it has competition with Private Practice so I believe it's going to start getting GOOd again - or I at least hope so!
Alex Karev. And I agree, everytime I start to like Alex again, he (the writers)does something real jerk-like again and it's completely back to square one. I'm still mad at him for sleeping with that VD Nurse Olivia, cause Alex & Izzie would have been cute together, at least for longer than 3 episodes.
I just finished rewatching Grey's and Alex IS a BIG JERK! I completely missed his put-down of George in the elevator Thursday. He not only put George down he put all of the interns down. I guess he forgot that he's in his first year of residency - fresh out of his internship! Now, I'm glad his patient with the "new face" from last season went back to her husband. I felt sorry for him and tried to like him too, but I gues there has to be someone to dislike or hate to balance the show and HE'S the one for now!!
Tessa I FINALLY watched this Wednesday's Private Practice online and it was very good! I won't knowingly miss it next week when it airs, but if something DOES come up - I'll definitely watch it online.
I do think Grey's is getting ready to improve because Private Practice looks like it's going to be a hit! You know it can't let it's offspring show outdo it.
Gayle, I missed out on Private Practice tonight so you will have to give me a heads up on the plot. I have to go out of town for a funeral tomorrow and won't be back til Friday so I will miss Survivor and Greys. Keep me posted.
Tessa two main things came out in last night's Private Practice. Addison has a fertility problem and a very slim chance of getting pregnant. Violet (Amy Brenneman's character)is still hung-up on her married ex-boyfriend. She freaked when his wife came into the clinic to have a urine test - thinking the wife was pregnant. It turns out that the wife had heard so many goods things about the clinic that she chose to come to the clinic - Naomi is her doctor.
Naomi told Violet that her ex's wife wasn't pregnant, but had an infection from having so much sex. The ex-wife later confessed to having marital problems and to being curious about Violet. You could see Violet's eyes light up after hearing that everything wasn't a bed of roses in their marriage.
I can see future stories dealing with Violet having to make a decision on whether to have an affair with her married ex and Addison trying to get pregnant.
Tessa if you want to watch both Grey's and Private Practice you can go to ABC.com to see full episodes.
Callie surprised George by forgiving him and quoting their wedding vows..."until death do they part." She said George had a rough year and made a mistake. This shocked George and sent him running through the hospital like a mad man looking for Izzie.
Callie found Izzie first and challenged her to a fight in the cafeteria at noon.
The Chief's 14 yr. old niece has cancer that has spreaded throughout her body. Izzie and Alex performed some sort of minor surgery on her. She wants to stop further treatment and chemo and go home.
Izzie told Alex that she slept with George (he called her a fool)and asked if he would let Callie get 1 blow in and pull her off of Izzie when they have their fight. Alex just looked at her and walked away.
You should have seen Izzie get ready to fight Callie when she walked into the cafeteria at noon. All of the residents and interns were gathered when Callie walked over to Izzie (who had her dukes up for a fight) and Callie said she wanted to talk not fight and walked out after giving Izzie a strange long look. Izzie looked like a fool and Alex got his zinger in against George - "no fight because they realized they were fighting over nothing."
Izzie apologized to Callie about everything. Callie went-off about how she humiliated her and took advantage of George - who was her best friend and called her the "B" word.
At the end of the day George runs up behind Callie in the rain and tells her she just can't forgive him and pretend it didn't happen. Callie waits a second and then tells him "You're right, I don't! and walks away without looking at him.
Alex comes into Izzie's room while she's crying and gives her a box of tissues and leaves - he had previously gone-off on her for treating him like a "chick friend" telling him about her sleeping with George who is married. She got a good one in by telling him he couldn't judge her because he fell in love with his patient, Ava, who is also married.
Derrick asked Meredith to marry him, but told her he knew she wasn't ready because she was still an intern mentally while he was still moving up. She asked him to wait for her. He told her things can't stay the way they are and he'll wait until he meets someone who is ready.
Tessa you should watch this episode online because it was action-packed throughout the whole hour and I haven't reported everything - just the highlights.
I still can't see George with Izzy, but I guess that's just me.
Next episode looks like maybe McSteamy and Callie may be getting friendly (again). I can't see George with Callie either.
Hmmmmm. Who can I see George with? Uhh...Alexis??
I really don't get Meredith's actions. Derek tells her he loves her and wants to marry her... she says let's see where it goes... whatever happened to "Pick Me..Choose Me!" He did you jerk!
I know what you mean about George. He really doesn't fit with Callie or Izzy. He reminds me of a man that's just supposed to be your "good friend only." He was having a general conversaton with Lexie - maybe they will get together.
Meredith doesn't know what she wants other than to not get hurt! I'm sorry for her because Derrick IS going to find someone else. (I read somewhere? that a new woman is going to be on the show as his NEW love interest.) So he was basically letting her know that he's not going to wait forever when he said, "things can't stay the way they are."
Gayle... I guess if they find it necessary for Meredith and Derek to split, then oh well, but they're the reason for the whole show. I don't think Cristina and Meredith make a good plot line. All they'd do is be miserable and that would get old fast. I didn't like it when the Vet came into the picture, so I wouldn't like a new love interest for either one of them. JMHO of course.
Meb, I think Meredith will wake-up when Derrick starts a new love interest with the new lady coming on Grey's. She'll probably get jealous of the competition and start competing to be Derrick's ONLY serious love. Although,I don't know about them getting married.
Christina's love is doing surgery now. They'll have to bring someone else new in to draw her away.
At least they brought some of the humor back this week. I enjoyed this episode better than last weeks. Looks like Alex got Izzie to finally realize the enormity of what she's done.
Meredith is just dumb, dumb, dumb! McDreamy loves her and she's letting him slip through her fingers.
I think Bailey needs to come back as Chief Resident and take control of her "Doctors" who are still interns as far as I'm concerned. The excuse of the Chief that she was a great surgeon was crap, cause Torres is a great surgeon too and he gave her the job. ??? That didn't make sense to me at the time he told Bailey that.
The show really needs some action, like they did with the human bomb.
George's character is not strong enough to have the story line around him all the time. He's just not that interesting. Cute kid, but they've got him acting like an idiot. I know this is TV, but running thru halls and hiding behind bushes??? Come on!
I thought it was classic when Cristina gave the heart specialist (name??) a piece of her mind, and then Chief tells her she's taking Burke's place.
And what did "Ava" think... that Alex was going to be at her beck and call. He's a surgeon!!!! He's going to be more than busy.
Loved Cristina and Callie in the operating room... I was even laughing out loud with them.
Glad the older gentleman (name??) is going to pursue a different profession.
I'm dealing with ashes myself right now...scattering them from a boat in the Delaware Bay in November. I have to admit I found the humor in Meredith carrying them around with her. Sissy's are sitting on top of our refrigerator waiting for our trip to Delaware. I actually laughed and said out loud to Sis that I hoped Meredith didn't really flush her mother down the toilet, like the kid suggested.
I enjoyed it too! Ausiello Report on TVGuide.com has an interview with the new heart doctor - Dr. Erica Hahn. This is the link: http://community.tvguide.com/blog/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Ausiello-Report/700000049
I was surprised that Alex was truthful with Lexi when he told her that he is in love with someone else and would just use her for sex and she agreed to it.
I don't know what to say about Izzy and George, but I'm so happy Callie "let go!"
Oh no! George and Izzy had sex again! I had hoped that after last week (when they decided to forgo sex and just sleep) that they would go back to being platonic friends only.
Well, it looks like Dr. Bailey is the Chief Resident without the title. Maybe the Chief will give her position back to her. Callie doesn't act like she really wants the "job."
Good! The Chief fixed his mistake and gave Dr. Bailey her position as the Chief Resident back.
I watched Lexie listen to Meredith as she talked to the baby's father about knowing 5 things that no one else knows about the baby. Maybe that conversation will start them (Lexie and Meredith) having a civil relationship. Yay! it is. Lexie told Meredith 5 things about herself.
Gayle... sorry... haven't even had a chance to watch it yet. I'll hopefully watch tonight and comment. I'm surprised joy n hasn't commented yet. Later!
This was a wonderful episode. I cried for the guy who lost his wife, especially when he came to hold the baby. Lexie was really caring.
Sad to see her get drunk, but glad Meredith asked Alex to take her home. Meredith is lightening up. I loved the 5 points of Lexie's when she told Meredith.
Sorry to see her father is a drunk.
The non-crapper and the ugly lady were a hoot.
Glad Bailey got her job back. Glad Bailey is making Cristina see how she has to fight for her position.
Glad Meredith and Derek keep doing break-up meetings... and...
Glad The Chief and Derek got an understanding. They really were dating weren't they. Smile.
Really glad that Izzy and George can't get it together in bed. Maybe they'll get over that relationship real quick. I don't like them together.
Hope Callie didn't mean she was totally fired and only fired as Chief Resident. She's a great surgeon. (in the show)
This was a fun-filled episode and I can't believe I took so long to watch it.
I know I went on and on, but one more thing. My word verification is PYUYU. To you too!
ok Gayle, I am back. I've missed commenting(1st do to computer problems then some personal reasons) Greys rocked this week. From George and Izzies relationship woes to Bailey getting her well deserved Chief resident to Meredith and Lexies bit by bit movement toward a sisterly connection...I loved it all.
I can't wait til next week. Do we know how many episodes are ready to air before the writers strike affects the Greys episodes.
Thanks Gayle for your help with my computer woes. I had to download and run 2 different scans and took over a week for it to find the trojan that was wrecking havoc.
Meb, I enjoyed your summation and comments - you ran it down the way it was! There was a glitch in the system when I posted my comment to you (double post). I got a hoot out of the non-crapper and the ugly lady in bed too. I didn't want to give too much of the story away in my ramblings.
I'm so very happy that Izzy and George's relationship seems to be ending. They were not a believable couple to me. Friends but not lovers!
Welcome back Tessa! I wondered if your computer was keeping you from posting. TV Guide's Ausiello did an article "Strike Chart: How Long Before Your Shows Go Dark?" According to his article Grey's has 4 episodes left and Private Practice has 4 or 5 left. Here's the link to the article: http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Ausiello-Report/Strike-Chart-Long/800026937
Jackie we have 117 comments on our Grey's Anatomy blog - How many do we need before we get a new Grey's blog? May we have a link to this blog with it? Thanks!!
It sounds like Bailey had a CRUSH on him in high school and is still affected by him! ha ha I like her weakness showing. She cried last week when the Chief gave her job back.
Good! I'm glad the producer ended that George and Izzy romance! They just didn't seem right, to me, as lovers.
Lexie is trying to mend her relationship with Meredith and their father knows he has a serious drinking problem. Maybe he's trying to make amends because he might be sicker than we know.
Tessa, I taped Private Practice last night so I could watch it later, but I saw Violet and her ex-husband (forgot his name) on the kitchen table kissing and stripping at the end! Are you still watching it?
They don't want us to mutiny to Private Practice or CSI on Thursdays! It started out slow in the beginning, but I think it's back up to it's old good self now. I have 2 VCR's and I tape this (in case I'm distracted) and CSI.
Bailey's heart is trobbing now! George is getting her straight! Don't be a fool Bailey!
Sorry i couldn't post Thanksgiving - flu shot gave me a taste of the flu. I watched Grey's and I thought the same thing about Bailey's marriage. Her husband is also a hunk! Hope you had a fun Thanksgiving with your family and as long as the flu doesn't get me down I'll see you next week.
What a tear-jerker this episode was. The scene with the guys in the ambulance with Meredith and the Chief were heartbreaking.
Then Derek's monitor goes out right in the middle of surgery. Can't wait to see what happens there.
Hope Bailey leaves a scar that messes up the swatstika on the idiot she has to operate on.
Alexis' artery patient got a little too excited me thinks. Obviously, from the previews for next week, she comes out of her shock and gets help. I sort of liked her with Alex so I'm sorry she had to find out about the "other girl". (Just realized that they are Alex and Alexis. Cool!)
Hi All! SPOILER ALERT from Ausiello's Report on Grey's from TVGuide.com.
Meredith is going to be replaced as narrator of the show in Episode 11 (next year) by Bailey. He hints that there was a reason behind Bailey's "temporary promotion" and that "it ain't pretty." He also hints that our meeting Bailey's husband and son was not random! Uh Oh! You can read the tease at the following link: http://www.tvguide.com/ask-ausiello
Meredith is speaking about her situation with McDreamy! "It's better to have someone than no one."
Who Hoo! They lost a lot of patients in this episode and Dr. Bailey's marriage is over! George was put in the middle, but he really didn't know what to say to ease the situation. Bailey's husband had made up his mind.
Thanksgiving was nice. My daughter was home from college. We went to my parents and as well as my exs parents for the day which is always a little interesting.
I can't wait til Christmas break. I'm a teacher and I am ready for a 2 week break.
I was suffering with the side-effects of the flu shot Thanksgiving, although I did enjoy a delicious dinner after Thanksgiving. I take the flu shot every year, but this year I immediately came down with the symptoms and they stayed with me for about a week! That put a BIG damper on my Thanksgiving.
I'm also looking forward to the Christmas holidays. I live in Chicago and we've been having SNOW for the last 3 days! If the snow continues we'll have a very "White Christmas."
Totally disappointed in Derek for kissing the nurse. I know he has put up with a lot from Meredith, but if he's as much in love with her as he told her he was, then the kiss should never have happened. So Gayle, I think you're right, Meredith may be too little too late asking him not to see anyone else. Hmmmmmm.
Cristina was finally human with Lexie, and then she brings her home to Meredith. Too cute.
Glad George and Izzy realize it isn't going to work, but they can still be friends. That's what it should have been all along.
Sad to see Lexie's patient die.
Alex certainly put it straight to "Ava" that the only reason SHE was there was for sex. I mean, he's right! She's a married woman with a baby... what other reason would she have to be there with Alex, who is certainly not husband material.
As un-couth as Alex is, I like his "tell it like it is" attitude. He also has a warm side on occasion (to his "friends") which is endearing. And implying that any of the group are his friends is stretching it.
That sending George back and forth between Bailey and her husband was silly. That was personal and Bailey would never have done that or said all those things in front of her whole OR staff. She's too private a person.
Did they say Grey's wouldn't be back until January???
OK..where are all the Grey's posters??? I wasn't thrilled with this episode. I mean, it was good, but it just seemed like a downer... Izzy spilling her guts to George's mom and George spilling his to Meredith about Rose and Meredith and Derek breaking up and Derek asking Rose out to dinner. And then of course, Bailey's baby. YUK! to all of it.
The healing lady was a nice touch as to Alex. And Hauk finally admitted that she could be attracted to McSteamy if they weren't co-workers. And Yang finally found a heart and Hauk noticed...which is probably what's been her downfall with Hauk all along.
Enjoyed the show tonight. Not happy with the Derek and Meredith separation, but Derek didn't act like he was totally down with Rose and also was inquiring why Meredith didn't bring the x-rays to him herself (to George).
I don't like the way they are portraying Izzie. She's acting stupid and she wasn't that way last season until she got tied up with George.
I like Alexis as a couple with George. That'll probably turn into something. I hope so, I just don't like Izzie with him still.
Katrina is also too silly acting over Hahn. If it were my home I would have walked in, got a glass and poured the wine... sat down and joined in. Don't know why they're making everyone silly this year.
OK Gayle... didn't mean to leave you here all alone last night. After Grey's I decided to go to bed early. What did you think so far.
Hey Gayle. Sorry I missed blogging with you over Greys. I had a meeting and didn't make it back home until 11. I'm going to have to see if I can watch it online. Anybody know if they are showing a repeat on TV?
Meb, I'm glad Grey's is back! I stopped watching it on TV to go and watch ED and Janelle's live chat, which was a waste of time. I ended up watching it on line from ABC. I also like George and Alexis rooming together - I just want them to be friends not lovers. Maybe Alexis can be the friend that Izzie used to be to George and vice versa.
Rose is going to be hurt when Derrick and Meredith get back together since she has fallen in love with him. Derrick doesn't seem to be that into Rose. Did you notice that they always kissed when Meredith could see them. That made me think he was trying to get a reaction out of Meredith. Also when McSteamy was asking if he had sex with her - he had to admit he hasn't.
I always see them trying to portray Izzie as a "dumb blond" when she's not.
I agree with you in that Christina should have joined Callie and Dr. Hahn for a glass of wine, after all it is her apartment.
Bailey is still Bailey. We only have a few shows before it goes on summer hiatus so I expect each show to get better!
I watched Greys online and I thought it was great. The break definetely helped the writers. I thought it was great when poor Christine felt out of place in her own home.
The guy with the brain tumor wife keeps repeating "it's the tumor" talking - should go up side his head every time he says something nasty and inappropriate!
Addison just put her foot in her mouth asking who was Derrick's new rebound woman and Rose was standing right next to her in surgery working as the surgical nurse with the instruments.
Dr. Bailey misses her husband. She confided in Addison - telling her that they have separated.
Addison let the Chief know that she only came back to make sure that she had made the right decision in leaving and she has. Bye Addison! See you on Private Practice!
Look at Callie with Dr. McSteamy! I guess she felt the need to prove she's not a lesbian.
Good! Addison gave Meredith a pep talk about Derrick. Watch out Rose Meredith is coming back for Derrick!
Sorry Gayle, had to stay and watch Lost before coming here.
Tonight's show was very good. Addison coming back has really pointed out just how much has changed in the time she's been gone.
I had read a while back that Hahn and Yang had requested they be in a lesbian relationship for the show, since they've done it before in another show. I was hoping that wasn't going to happen, but Hahn may feel betrayed by Callie after tonight and decide to go for Yang.
The elevator scene with Derek was hysterical. First Meredith, then Addison and then Rose...but then McSteamy coming on and laughing at the scene of all four of them. I had to LOL.
Things look promising for Meredith and Derek, which it should be. I'm glad Addison jumped all over Meredith for being stupid to just let him go.
Glad to see Izzy getting her back bone back. I meant to say that.
I was over on TV Squad reading Jackie's post re Survivor and I came across the write-up for GA. The writer (and there I go, not remembering names) call Rose (McRebound). I thought that was perfect, so needless to say if I refer to her from now on, I'm stealing that and calling her McRebound.
Did you think at the end when Izzy said to the Lab Tech, "You mean my patient isn't pregnant?" that she was referring to Alex's "friend" or the HIV positive couple?
The writer on TV Squad referred to that as being Alex and "what's her name". I didn't know she was Izzy's patient. Did I miss something? (seems like I ask this same question all the time...maybe I shoud watch these shows twice like some others do, since I do tape them).
Meb, I absolutely agree on the confusion surrounding who isn't pregnant. My college age daughter was home and we watched it together. At the end my daughter is screaming that Karev's girl isn't pregnant but I never got that she was Izzy's patient. I assumed that it was the HIV positive girl.
Just finished watching the premiere of Grey's Anatomy. It was excellent. I hope we can all chat about it here again.
And not to spoil anything, and if you haven't seen it yet, read no further, but...
It was great to see Denny again, even tho I know it was just for a moment. And now Izzy has fallen for Alex again, but he's back to his old self... pain in the a$$!
I watched it and also thought it was an excellent premiere. I enjoyed the 2 hours, but did not like having to go back and forth to Survivor. I taped Survivor (watched the first hour and then turned to Grey's), but was anxious to know how Survivor ended! I think we're in for an exciting season of Grey's.
YAY...GAYLE... I had a feeling you might be the first to respond. You seem to love Grey's as much as I do.
Didn't your heart drop when Rose told Derrek she was carrying his child. I actually gasped out loud. Hmmmm...was she really only joking? Guess we'll find out later.
McSteamy seems to be less steamy this season. I hope he stays that way.
George is a jerk...Alexis is almost a jerk for liking him. I'm just not warming up to him yet.
Loved the Army doctor!!!! McGorgeous! Surprised Yang cared whether she knew him or not. HA!
Still not going to like Torres and Hahn (McMean) together..
The three story lines were really good, especially since they were all connected. Good to see such well known actors playing the parts.
MEB, when Rose told Derrick she was pregnant, I screamed NO! Just when it looked like Meredith and Derrick are getting their relationship off to a good start. I'm afraid of her! She's a woman scorned... You see how she cut his hand during surgery, so we don't know what she'll say or do to get revenge.
I also think that McSteamy has mellowed. Maybe he feels that he's "losing his touch with the women" with Callie going along with a lesbian relationship with Dr. Hahn. Alexis got smart (disrespectful) with him when he teased her about George.
Yay for Yang! It looks like she's going to have a CUTE love interest.
YES! YES! YES! We're going to have a REAL GOOD time this season!
Hey guys! I looked here the night of the premiere and saw no posts. It made me sad. That was an absolutely crazy night. 2 hour premier of survivor overlapping with 2 hour premier of Greys as well as premier of last season of ER! I thought I was going crazy.
My daughter was watching greys at college and texting me. I missed Yang getting hurt and turned back to it when my daughter texted me. She called Yangs new man McArmy.
The Practice premiere is tomorrow night. I'll check in to see if you are here for it Gayle.
Private Practice was great. Lots of drama. Naomi has really dug herself a hole. I can see her being ticked off with Addison for quite some time for going to her ex. She is making bad decisions for the group and needed to be called out. It was hard to watch but necessary.
Hi Tessa! I lazily watched Private Practice from my bed. I think I'm going to watch it online again to see what I missed. You know how you get comfortable and watch/listen with your eyes closed - that's how I watched it! I'll try to do better next week.
McArmy is a good name for Yang's man.
We're going to have a fun time watching all of our shows!
Finally got to see Greys tonight. I thought it was pretty good... the ceiling falling on the patient was sort of unbelievable ... like they see the water and don't have enough brains to move the patient, they needed Bailey to be yelling at them to do it... and the Chief not moving patients out automatically.
Still don't like Hahn and Torres ... And it appears that Sloan and Alexis may end up together. Hmmmm?
OK... why is nobody talking here. Last night's episode was really good. Bailey sure had her hands full.
Finally Alexis had the gumption to call George out for his insensitivity. Good for her. I still don't want her ending up with him tho.
Hate the Hahn/Torres thing. To each his own, but... infer it, I don't need to see it or hear it... and I feel the same way about a man and a woman together. I don't need to see or hear ... we all know what's going on without details, thank you very much!
Finally Izzy and Alex, back together again... I like them as a couple... they just fit each other.
Why would anyone want a kidney in a bottle. These people are nuts! Truly, anyone of you nurses out there... would you really want to take home a diseased anything even if it did glow? LMBO.
Don't think I'm going to like the new guy after all. He was neat the first time we met him, but he seems over the top in the previews. We'll see if Yang and him get together.
Actually cried with the father/son thing at the end. Although they didn't show the father die, they lead you to believe that he will.
And George is going to have to step up if he expects his team to follow his lead.
Meredith dropped a kidney on the floor... too dramatic... stupid and dumb. There have to be more safe guards than that. I know, we'd be surprised what goes on, but...
OK... I've talked to myself enough. I'll see me next episode!
MEB you poor thing over here all alone. I really forgot there was a Grey's post.
I loved last night's episode. I would love an entire episode with nothing but Bailey talking, LOL. She is just that good.
I'm still gonna give the new doctor the benefit of the doubt. Yang needs a new man in her life and he seems tough enough to take her on. She's my second favorite character after Bailey.
I really find George to be a little pathetic. It's always like they are trying to force relationships for him that just don't fit. There is just no basis for Alexis' obsession with George!
McSteamy needs a new love interest too. He's been wasting on the backburner lately. I've seen enough of McDreamy's chest, I'm ready for more McSteamy now!
I agree about the Hahn/Torres relationship. Yet another forced pairing that does not really fit. They should have just ended it last night with Torres realizing she really wasn't into it!
Not quite sure how I feel about Izzy & Alex together again. It's kind of been there, done that. But I guess its better for him than the crazy chick, LOL.
Sorry I haven't been posting, but I have been reading. I've got a good post today! Well, I guess the writers picked-up on our dislike of the Callie/Hahn relationship and have FIRED Hahn! This is the link to both articles:
Thanks for those links. I had not heard anything about her being fired. I can't say that I'll miss her though. I never really warmed to her character and didn't find the Callie/Erica relationship to be at all believable. I don't have any problem with the show exploring a lesbian relationship, but it was wrong to try to force the obviously straight Callie into the relationship. It just never rang true. What they need to do is let George realize he's gay.

Oh, yeah!!!
Thanks Jackie!! This will be so much fun!!
You rock!! ;)
Orkmommy ~
Hmmmmm.
Im excited for both shows!!! So glad that new shows are coming back on. My TV schedule is pretty light, with BB being over!
MMM
Woohooo Jackie you are the best!! BB and now Grey's. It is one of my favs. HI all!!!
Just wanted to say "hi" to all. I don't watch Grey's-
I know, I live in the Seattle area, too. It's almost like being American and not liking Apple Pie)!!
Enjoy your new season!!!
Nana - You don't like Grey's?? It's like I don't even know you anymore!!! :-)
You should give it a try!
hey nana in the southwest: not related here but we are visiting the seattle area soon what hotel do you recommend?
hey did anyone see the private practice? it was good
Well..I almost agree with all of you...but what i really wish that Grey`s will continue as it is if not better not as most of the other TV shows that start to go down after the 4th or 5th season.....we shall wait and see..
Hi everyone!
I look forward to reading everyone's thoughts, and see you tomorrow night for Greys!
dla ~
LOL.
OrkMommy said to Nana:
"You should give it a try!
9/26/2007 9:25 AM"
To which Sue responded:
Seriously! You should.
GimMoe in NM
i wasn't all that enthused with private practice. so, it will be a take or or leave it show. not sure what it's up against, so i'll have to check something else out next week.
my dilemma tonight. grey's or csi. i really want to see if sara lives or dies but then i don't want to miss grey's either. i guess i can flip around. i don't have tivo or a recorder.
totally missed kid nation last night due to dancing with the stars.
all summer NOTHING and now everything at once.
i did watch the dirty rich blood money show (not the right name, can't think of it right now), which was interesting - i'll be sure to watch it again. looks like it will be a decent night time soap type show.
looking forward to survivor tonight.
hi everyone!!!!!!!!
maryanne
okay, so now i went back and read everyone's comments. a little azz backwards, but.
the name of the show i was talking about is dirty sexy money. i was kind of close.
sue, you said everyone on grey's said 'seriously' too much. it was like danielle on big brother - everything was prefaced with "honestly". that was getting old too.
i had to laugh. ellen degeneres was interview taye diggs (yummmmm) and called him mc chocolatey. i laughed, as did he. (he is fine).
maryanne
Maryanne I understand your indecisiveness about what to watch - Grey's or CSI. I tape & watch Survivor, watch Grey's and tape CSI. ABC.com shows full episodes of it's primetime shows so that's always an option, but I like to watch Grey's when it's on. I used to tape both Grey's and CSI and found myself having too many tapes to watch and so far behind on the show!
gayle, wish i had the ability to tape. the VCR isn't hooked up, i should have thought about it earlier and now, forget it. i'll start looking for cables and whatnot and then find something else and get sidetracked and next thing you know it will be tomorrow and i will never have accomplished what i set out to do.
i decided to sit and flip back and forth. i'm almost sure sara won't be found until the last 5 minutes - part of me wants her off the show, but i'd still like to see it.
greys will be talked about here, so i can check in and ask questions on what i miss or i can go to abc and watch it in full like you suggested.
maryanne
Maryanne you can watch full episodes of both shows on-line the next day. CBS.com (Innertube) and ABC.com their full episode player.
If looks could KILL - Meredith would have killed Lexi when she heard her name. Remember Derek flirted with Lexi (Meredith's half-sister) on the last show.
Good for you George - brushing Izzie's advances off like teflon!
Dr. Bailey should have been given the Chief Resident's position for she commands more
R-E-S-P-E-C-T than Callie. Everyone jumps when she calls!
I am confused. I thought that Meredith met her sister several months ago??? Is this a different sister?
I think you are correct that Bailey demands the RESPECT of all!!
NO, they can't break up!!!!
NO George - leave Izzy alone!
Lesa, yes this is the same sister that McDreamy flirted with the end of last season.
yea I know Gayle but her and Meredith act like they never met. I thought they had! Am I crazy?
Lesa~
I think they met when she was in the hospital. Their father introduced them. Remember when Meredith went to dinner over her father's house? I think their father pointed Lexi out in the hospital. I'm a little fuzzy on the details.
I'm pretty sure it's a different sister and i'm sooooo happy izzie ended up with george.
and i love private practice i was pretty impresed
** i just checked IMDB and lexi was on the intern testing episode last year so i would assume that she had met merideth, but maybe she didn't recongnize her? because lexi did ask which one she was, and merideth didn't seem to know who she was**
also, the whole part outside the nursery didn't eem to make sense because she (lexi) kept saying how she didn't want to be there so why was she?
I think there were alot of someone confusing parts this week because they are trying to add in too many people while following everyone elses story.
Thanks Gayle you are correct!!!
I wanted George and Callie's marriage to work. I'm not too sure about Izzie. I can see her breaking them up and then moving on to somebody else.
oh I think George & Izzy are good together.
You're welcome Lesa. They were good together, I'm just pullling for the so-called underdog. Callie loves George and I just don't want her to get hurt.
I agree with Gayle. Izzy does seem to follow that pattern with the exception of the guy who died.
Yea I agree Gayle but it would be great that they bring on or get her into another guy!! I am like you usually don't want to see married unions broke up but what Izzy & George have is wonderland.
Lesa~
Izzy would fall in love with the OTHER guy and George would end up being all alone AGAIN.
Whatever happens - we'll be watching and loving it or hating it that's for sure!
you are right!!!!
MMM
Mer has two half sisters, Molly and Lexie. Molly was in the hospital last season having her baby and Merideth had to help because there were complications. Neither sister knew about Merideth until recently.
I soooo don't want George and Izzie together. I didn't like Callie at first, but she's grown on me.
I was upset that Bailey didn't get Chief Resident until the Chief had that talk with her about focusing on surgery. I agree that Bailey should do that instead of scheduling and what-not. I think we'll see Bailey helping Callie out and they may even become friends!
I'm sooo happy Grey's is back!
McWimpy! :-)
LOL Orkmommy, McWimpy's even better.
Any ideas?
The only other word I can think of is McCreamy, and that really doesn't work, LOL
I see George as a "warm fuzzy" type guy.
How about McPreamie( as in not fully grown up yet)
Yeah Tessa! McPreamie is a real good name for George!
Sue
elisabeth... I so agree with you. Derek is deeply in love with Meredith, and when he looks at her with "that" look, you just have to melt.
And they were going to give the part of Derek to Rob Lowe...they've gotta be kidding.
This is still just the best show ever!!!
I just want to love this show again. Hope it changes direction soon. I'm not giving up on it yet.
I wonder how long Derrick's and Meredith's "breakup sex" will continue? Who will give-in first and want to resume a REAL relationship?
Hey Gayle, I am here but I don't know for how long. I have major computer problems. It is either running incredibly slow or it decides what it wants to load and when. This episode hasn't been all that for me. I don't see George's marriage lasting long but I don't see a relationship with Izzie either.
Tessa I don't think George's marriage will last EVEN if Callie is pregnant OR that his relationship with Izzie will get off the ground.
Sorry your computer is acting-up. Have you defragged your "C" drive lately? Try that and see if it helps. I use CCleaner to clean-up my computer.
Gayle, are you watching the Greys spinoff? I enjoyed last nights episode alot better than this episode of Greys.
Callie is acting like she KNEW George was not in a GOOD mental state to make a decision about marriage - GUILTY.
There's so much good stuff on TV that overlaps each other. Most of the shows I watch are on CBS. I watch Desperate Housewives and this on ABC.
THis will be a test for Izzy - her patient died!
Izzy's HOPE is that she'll eventually get George! I don't think so!
GOOD Bailey! Callie REALLY does NEED HELP!
WOW! I wasn't ready for that from George.
Oh No! It's going to be a showdown next week between Izzy and Callie! George got strong/BRAVE and told Callie he slept with IZZY!!
I am blanking on whats his name name, but he was a complete jerk(that is putting it nicely) to George. Just when I want to like him he goes and acts like that.
Me either Tessa!
Tessa ~
The McSteamy man?
No, the guy in the elevator who called George out. The other intern from last season who liked Izzy at one point. Gotta go talk lter.
Thanks Caroline - Alex is his name! I completely forgot about him sleeping with the nurse who had VD! I think he's a JERK too.
Tessa & Caroline
Tessa for Survivor you can read Jackie's TV Squad recap.
This was a show I loved... it better shape up!
Meb ~
Come on!
Grey's get it together before all is lost!
By the way, where is Lost?
Loved the exchange between Lexie and Meredith.
The show got "all better" this episode.
I agree, this episode was more like first season. Really enjoyed it. That scene with Callie and Christina in the OR was too funny!
I enjoyed it too! Ausiello Report on TVGuide.com has an interview with the new heart doctor - Dr. Erica Hahn. This is the link:
http://community.tvguide.com/blog/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Ausiello-Report/700000049
Where is everybody? Grey's was good tonight!
Lexie didn't tell Meredith that their father has a drinking problem.
Gayle... sorry... haven't even had a chance to watch it yet. I'll hopefully watch tonight and comment. I'm surprised joy n hasn't commented yet. Later!
Meb, I'm glad you're back! I've been talking to myself.
Meb, I'm glad you're back! I've been talking to myself.
Thanks Gayle...I heard you the first time ... LOl
Hope to catch up with you over the next Greys.
Thanks!!
I didn't see a link so are wwe still here for the evening?
Hi All! Bailey and her friend from school are flirting with each other! That's why his heart is beating too fast!
Yes Tessa. Jackie has been busy. We know where we left off!
Tessa did you catch-up with watching the on-line shows?
Gayle, I think I still missed one. I'll catch it eventually.
Bailey flirting is kind of nauseating. It makes her look weak.
It sounds like Bailey had a CRUSH on him in high school and is still affected by him! ha ha I like her weakness showing. She cried last week when the Chief gave her job back.
I think they want us to know that she's still human.
I don't remember what her husband (on the show)looks like. But he probrbly isn't a hunk like her old CRUSH!
I see your point Gayle, I just like the tough Bailey.
Meredith's dad is falling hard but will this be a way to repair their relationship.
Good! I'm glad the producer ended that George and Izzy romance! They just didn't seem right, to me, as lovers.
Lexie is trying to mend her relationship with Meredith and their father knows he has a serious drinking problem. Maybe he's trying to make amends because he might be sicker than we know.
Oooooh, Bailey is getting dressed down.
The writers sure know how to play with our emotions. I am feeling for Lizzie again after her talk with pencil guys friend.
Tessa, I taped Private Practice last night so I could watch it later, but I saw Violet and her ex-husband (forgot his name) on the kitchen table kissing and stripping at the end! Are you still watching it?
Gayle, Oh yeah I saw it. I knew it was coming. Crisis situations will always throw 2 people back together. You will definetly enjoy the episode.
Yeah Bailey!! See, Tessa, she's still STRONG and human!
I love the high school connections with each doctor. It took me until the end to get it. People grow up and we all change usually for the better.
Oh geeze, they are not going to let this George and Izzie thing go, are they?
George and Izzy going back to being best friends, I can take.
Derrick's eye is wandering... I don't like it.
No, it looks like they want them to have a connection even if it's just friends.
I'm going to watch my tape of this again - I missed a bunch!
Derrick is a player!
As long as it's just best friends.
Any ideas as to who's in the ambulance who they are trying to save an next weeks episode.
Well I am switching gears to ER. TTYL.
I said that about Derrick before, but had to take it back, but now look at him! I do believe Meredith pushed him out there though!
Tessa, I missed that trying to type.
Hey, anybody out there on this wonderful Thanksgiving evening?
Bailey better watch it or her marriage is going to end up in the same predicament as the chiefs.
Hi Tessa!
Cool!)
OK... where is everybody?
Uh Oh! You can read the tease at the following link: http://www.tvguide.com/ask-ausiello
does anyone know if this is the last show of the fall tonight?
Anon 6:52
No, tonight's Grey's is a rerun. The next new episode is Dec.6th, which is part 2 of a two-part episode.
Hi All! I'm glad Grey's is back!
Oh no! Now Bailey's marriage is in trouble!
Oops! They didn't die, I jumped the gun at the show's suspense. Well, McDreamy just kissed that woman doctor so Meredith may be too late.
Oh my gosh. What an episode. I have been watching it with my daghter over the phone.
Tessa
This was one of the best episodes ever.
Tessas
Hi Tessa! I wondered what happened to you. You're right, this was a really good episode!
I can't get signed in to my blogger account and it is driving me crazy.
Tessa
Someone else had that problem too.
I think I got it. This is just a test.
That was a long and complicated process.
Yes you did get it Tessa!
Tessa - How was your Thanksgiving? It seems like we've had longer than a week break.
Thanksgiving was nice. My daughter was home from college. We went to my parents and as well as my exs parents for the day which is always a little interesting.
I can't wait til Christmas break. I'm a teacher and I am ready for a 2 week break.
How was your Thanksgiving?
Hi All!
Meb - Yes, this was the last one and there is only 1 more new episode taped due to the strike!
You're so right about Alex being uncouth, but straight- forward! I think that's his appeal to the women. He doesn't mince words at all!
Gayle, did I miss anything? Smile.
No Meb, you didn't miss anything! I'm sorry that this was the last show due to the strike. I hope BB9 is good!
Meredith is in therapy. George is living with Meredith's half-sister in a dump. No money? Bailey brought her sick baby to work!
McSteamy is happy with his new love.
Tessa, you can watch Grey's on line at ABC.com. They also rerun it Friday on ABC at 7:00 p.m.
I watched Greys online and I thought it was great. The break definetely helped the writers. I thought it was great when poor Christine felt out of place in her own home.
Addison is back.
Tessa
Hi Tessa! Addison is only back for tonight.
The guy with the brain tumor wife keeps repeating "it's the tumor" talking - should go up side his head every time he says something nasty and inappropriate!
Dr. Karev is going to be a daddy. Rebbecca is pregnant.
Addison thought Callie and Dr. Hahn were in a lesbian relationship.
Addison just put her foot in her mouth asking who was Derrick's new rebound woman and Rose was standing right next to her in surgery working as the surgical nurse with the instruments.
Good for you Izzy! Take charge of your interns - show them that you can handle your job.
Meb, I agree, tonight's Grey's was very good! They'll probably keep getting better since we don't have that many left.
Meb,
I absolutely agree on the confusion surrounding who isn't pregnant. My college age daughter was home and we watched it together. At the end my daughter is screaming that Karev's girl isn't pregnant but I never got that she was Izzy's patient. I assumed that it was the HIV positive girl.
"Date and Tell!" LOL I'm glad this is just a TV show.
Good speech Christina! Tell the Chief YOU were Dr. Burke's hands when he was unable to perform surgery.
Hi MEB!
It's gonna be a great season! Yep, Yep, Yep!
Hmmmm?
Poor Izzy... Alex is just moving too slow...
OK... why is nobody talking here.
Grey's was so good tonight. I can't believe the pigs segment. They saved them only to put them down (as Dr. McArmy called it).
Yang showed some heart tonight.
Bailey was at her best.
I still can't stand Hahn.
Izzy and Alex are going steady. LOL
Hi MEB!
Sorry I haven't been posting, but I have been reading. I've got a good post today! Well, I guess the writers picked-up on our dislike of the Callie/Hahn relationship and have FIRED Hahn! This is the link to both articles:

Hi Gayle,
Thanks for those links.
