Oh, my. What a mess BB has on their hands! The feeds came on a bit after midnight ET and my head's still spinning.
Here's the skinny as I understand it:
- Sharon and Jacob are the first couple (already) voted out.
- The "secret" about Jen and Ryan being a couple is already blown.
- Parker and many are fighting and several want to go home.
- Several alliances were started in the beginning, it seems. Most are broken up now at Day 5.
- BB has given them wine and beer.
- Everyone's fighting.
- Jen whines too much.
- Amanda and Alex are the HoH couple.

I'm so glad your head is as foggy as mine is Jackie. I can't figure this out and it's going to take me a day or two to get into this couples thing. What a mind bender!

Sharon and Jacob should be glad they escaped. But when Parker and others blamed BB for ruining their chances in the game, I think they nailed it for many.
So glad the show is back. Jackie, how did you catch up on all this from just a few minutes of live feeds? Thanks for the updates!
No Monty924 you're not alone! I'm foggy too. They will eventually grow on us, but now I have to keep looking at their pictures.
My take is that they will put Jen and Ryan up against each other and thus their partners are screwed by association. I would be p***ed off to, since it was out of their control. But... each team has the opportunity to win veto and the other could stay with the vote to evict. We saw that with Dick and Danielle twice last season.
Parker is so angry - he keeps talking about throwing the POV competition so that they will lose and get kicked out.

I can't figure out who is HOH-- Jen talks like she still is.. which doesn't make sence-- Jen and Parker still HOH after an eviction?
Monty-- you're right they did get screwed by association.. but Jen should of kept her mouth shut about her and Ryan being a couple. I think she and Parker could of gone far.
And I still can't move on to the new season and get a pic for BB9---grrrr

Glad you are back, the only bright spot from the strike was when I heard BB was going to be back on and we would get our show and you back. YAH!! I think from the showtime thing I clocked the first mention of the word "integrity" being used at 1:11am est I mean I love the show but everyone on here is gonna lie their bums off in one way shape or form. When the Sho2 came on, it was like drama rama and I was screaming please hammer don't hurt em ! I think so far from what I have scene that Josh dude seems and I use that loosely the most stable, but we are just in it. Thank you again so much for all you do and I really appreciate the time you put in to this and your comments as do so many others!!!!

Thanks Jackie, I have indigestion and I haven't viewed any of the live feeds.
I suspected Shelia and Adam might not be eliminated, simply because they couldn't get along, I assume after Parker wanted Ryan evicted, Jen objected heavily, finally exposing them as a couple, maybe after Valentines Day, BB will split some of the couples, it would have been easier for some of the couples to have had these ready made alliances, ( esp Parker/Jen - Ryan/ ? ) it seems their attitudes aren't allowing themselves to think beyond the scope. I better drink my morning coffee with indigestion and all. My head is pounding, I can't imagine how yours is feeling Jackie.

I think this couples thing stinks, it's so unfair to one or the other just because BB paired them up. It seems BB has taken this expect the unexpected a little too far. Now every season, they are going to have relatives, exe's,and currently dating couples, this is a real mess. I think it's unfair that someone will have to go just because the others don't like their partner.
Although I don't like the fact that some of the people knew each other before going into the house...I do like the couples idea. It brings a new element of strategy to the game. Now instead of "how do I keep my disliked alliance member from going home" it's "how do I keep my disliked soulmate from dragging us both down". It increases the social and strategy aspects of this game.
Thanks to Jackie and all the stalwarts who stayed up to catch the feeds. I'm not surprised that Sharon/Jacob are gone,she probably lobbied for it,because she was fit to be tied.I feel for anybody paired with Adam,he sounds and acts like a boorish ass(think ED).But Sheila acted like a big baby,so maybe she does fit right in with this house of self absorbed twentysomethings!I thought I read,somewhere,that the getting voted off as a couple would not last all season,so maybe they get to "break up" after a while,although it looks like they may be "breaking up" all on their own already....lol.

I cant believe the twists and turns since we went to bed out here...thanks so much for the update...Im glad that couple left..he was a boor...truly the best use of the word Ive ever seen.
And I felt sorry for her being the oldest...and having no guy want you. Very unfair.
I think ryans brooding nasty glares at Parker would be one dead giveaway anyway!
I like the couples idea, but think if they were gonna toss in a couple they should have left them together....it is unfair to the "pretend" partner. I hope they split them all up quickly...

I'm surprised it wasn't Sheila and Adam that were ousted. Did Sharon and Jacob want to go? Or were their fights louder than S & A?

What's up with Parker? And the rest? When do these people get it that "expect the unexpected" means just that? Instead of moaning and groaning over what they can't fix, why aren't they trying harder to work with their partners to make this work so they CAN take home the moola?
For some reason, hearing that Jen is whining doesn't surprise me.
How thoughtful of BB give the gift of liquor to a bunch of p'-off people already contemplating abdictation.

Well, at least something is HAPPENING. I got up this morning and turned on the tivo'd Shoo Too to see them right into it from the first. I was sorry that the relationship with Ryan was already exposed, and sorry to hear that Shelia was still there. Will be interesting to see how that happened tonight. Though they are still calling her and her partner ma and pa. I bet they both love that (Just wait till they themselves reach a mere 30 years old... they will see that they don't feel any different but WILL have more between the ears than they do now).
JoyN -- that's why they aren't trying harder to work with their partners to make this work. They're all too young, and focused on the wrong stuff, but that is what will make for interesting viewing.
SOmeone clear my up -- how long have they been in the house? For us of course it's just day two but Jackie said the sho2 feeds I'm watching from last night really represents day 5 for them? I am always confused by that...
On the feeds last night, one of the HG mentioned it was Day 5. I'm assuming he meant Tuesday, not Wednesday. So they had to enter last Thursday. I think.
I would have tried to use the Jen/Ryan thing to my advantage. Keep it a secret and you'd have a very strong, but small, alliance.
My early observations:
Ryan - I give it about 3 days before he punches someone
Jen - just stop. She's a Danielle whiner in the works. "Seriously"
Amanda - is a pot stirrer and doesn't even know it. I vote her as someone who will greatly annoy me soon.
Parker - who has the soap to clean this kids mouth out? Yikes. Train wreck.
Natalie - we don't want to see your boobs all season. Get them tucked in soon.
My early favorites are Chelsia and Crazy James - though I thought he would be the most aggrivating...I'm surprised.
