Big Brother 9 Live Feeds Into Saturday Dawn

jackie's tv blog, Big Brother, BB9

Since one of the commenters likened Natalie to a Pomeranian and she should hit sequester today, you know Zoetawny just had to do it! Heehee!

So, Ryan has the POV. With the nominations remaining the same, Ryan would want Sheila out and Adam's sole vote determines the final three. Ryan has been trying to get Adam to promise to evict Sheila. But will her? Or will Ryan use the POV himself to save Sharon. If he does that, Sharon is bound and determined to take Adam out. This should be interesting.

With all the excitement looming ahead, they're really not being too exciting in that Big Brother House of Dazed Dillydallyers:
  • Sharon talked about Jacob. Yawn.
  • They cooked dinner. Actually, this crew (when not on slop) is quite into cooking. I think BB should give the houseguests cookbooks in addition to the bible as reading material.
  • Speaking of reading material, Sharon reached her goal and finished reading the bible in its entirety.
  • Ryan and Adam think Sharon is still in love with Jacob although she says she's over him.
  • Ryan told Adam he lied to him about the Matt and James votes, he needs him to be honest now. Sheila walked in, so they stopped talking.
  • Adam later told Ryan to do what he has to do.
  • Ryan said he needs to know if Adam has something going on (dealwise, not romance) with Sheila.
  • Ryan told Adam that Sharon has been saying that Adam and Sheila are together in the game.
  • Adam doesn't admit anything going on with Sheila and again tells Ryan to do whatever he feels he has to do.
  • Adam told Ryan that neither Sheila or Sharon deserve to win. He and Ryan should be the final two.
  • Adam said what he did for James came from the heart.
  • The girls think the guys are in control of the game now. Neither is campaigning hard.
  • Beavis and Butthead ... er, Ryan and Adam, seem to agree that Sheila will be evicted this week.
  • Adam swore on his mother that he would vote to evict Sheila.
  • They're all sleeping now.

With that said, this meeting is adjourned.

Beavis and Butthead rule the Big Brother 9 house for the week. And, as always, graphic artist Zoetawny rules the blog! Have a good day and I'll update things a bit later tonight.

(I moved my Sat. morning post from the end of the last thread to here)

For all their talk about going to the F2 with "the most deserving person" I think they are thinking about going with the person they can beat easily!
Adam is certainly in the hot seat.
I think Adam would win over Ryan.
He was sympathetic to all, and he did win at key points. So, Ryan would be smart to take Sharon down, put Adam up and have Sharon vote Adam out.
But.....Ryan isn't going to win any endurance comp against the girls, so his best bet would be to have Adam in for that. Any endurance featuring Ryan, Adam and Sharon would be over in a hurry!
So, taking Sheila out now might be best for Ryan.
I don't know.....

Nana...I think Jackie and I are probably on similar morning schedules during the work week.
I look and there's no update, I look again and there it is!
RiseandShine with RyzandShyn...I like it :)
I wish your neighbor had said something to you about her situation before stealing your power. It's too bad she didn't call out for help before it was too late.
I was once in a situation where I needed help. All those things that stop us from asking played in my head. I took a deep breath, and asked. I found that my friends and neighbors were more than willing to help and I received more help than I ever expected.

ROFLMAO! OMG I love the graphics!! Too Funny! I'm so glad GNAT is gone! I got a feeling Ryan is going to win the whole thing.
The only 2 people I can tolerate watching is Ryan and Sharon, Sheila and her voice makes me cringe and Baller with his hands down his pants and him picking his nose is GROSS!
I can't wait until this season(Yawn) is over!

First of all Zoetawny the Pomeranian Natalie is perfect,my daughter has two males, Reese & Nicky who want to meet her! If I was Ryan (thankfully not) I wouldnt trust Adam even with the Mother swearing. sharon would vote out Adam, who IS Ryans worst chance at getting it all, then the blood would be on Sharons hands not his

Anonymous said...

if ryan really does want to go to the F2 with adam, wouldn't it be a smarter move to get rid of sharon? i would think she has a better chance of winning final cops than sheila would. adam would be responsible for the eviction so ryan wouldn't look like he went against his alliance with her.

somone mentioned nat getting to sequester today? don't they go immediately after eviction? anyone know the house rules in sequester?

Anonymous said...

gee...i hope nat isn't in heat....(SP?)......look out mattie!

Adam's swearing on his mother's life comes across as "Johnny Fairplay" and his grandmother's "death" from Survivor several years ago. Your thoughts?

Gayle said...

Anon 11:08

I watched the conversation last night between Ryan and Adam and Ryan played out the scenario if Sharon went to the F2. Ryan believes Sharon would win as she has 3 votes possibly Nat's and Sheila. He told Adam he wanted Sheila evicted and he's counting on winning the last 3 comps and evicting Sharon. He told Adam not to screw him over and evict Sheila. That's when Adam swore on his mother's life that he would evict Sheila.

Nat as a Pom - perfect!
Now that's got me thinking dog personalities:
James - Jack Russel Terrier
Chelsea - Afghan Hound
Sheila - King Charles Spaniel
Ryan - Basset Hound
Adam - Yellow Lab
Sharon - I keep thinking cat, not dog.
Others?

*****************************
I don't believe Adam would swear on his Mother's life, Johnny Fairplay had fake emotions, Adam has a heart, It's time for Sheila to go!

I've written this before; Ryan will either risk it all or accept he very well could come in second next to Adam, however Adam could also inform potential jurors he believes Ryan has played the best game, thus he deserves to win!

Interesting this past week I was comparing various events, surroundings & number's by their owners and their dog names.

Sheila - Cujo

Sharon reminds me of;
"Gidget." The Taco Bell Chihuahua
After being released from mascot duties by Taco Bell the dog chose the KFC. Both Taco Bell and KFC are owned by Yum! Brands, Sharon stirs the minds, basically is a mole.

Off topic: Nana asked about Terry's cruise. Ready? Terry and I (and our husbands) are doing the Inland Alaska tour out of Seattle on May 16. We are beside ourselves with excitement. It's my first cruise and everyone's first time to Alaska.

Terry is a Texan! said...

Our cruise....did I hear our cruise? YAY!!! Cant wait!! Im already packed, sad but true.
Laurie are you still checking the weather?
Back to the BLOG, you are right, Adam is a soft hearted soul and he would not swear on his Mom's life, like JF, who is a weasel and Im glad he left the Survivor game early....oh no! Im thinking about Ozzy leaving again...now who will I root for??? (sniff, sniff)

Pomeranian's everywhere are cringing! I love the graphic, it made me laugh, but that breed will never look the same to me! ha ha!

Sydney said...

OK, Zoetawny, you have OUTDONE yourself this time with BOTH of these graphics. I'm dying here...

Morning ryandshyn... I concur with --was it Nana who said --seeing your posts first is kind of like those first rays of sunshine on the horizon?

Anonymous said...

Zoetawny-once again great graphics!

Anonymous said...

Zoetawny, marvelous and too funny!

I know this is a long shot, but for some reason I think Sharon and Ryan have a link with Jen. Jen and Sharon look enough alike to be sisters or 1/2 sisters!

I know Shelia wanted Gnat gone, but now she is reaping what she voted for as the guys, rule the cage. I do not want any of them to win and how sad is that!

Anonymous said...

I would label James more as a rotweiller...he wanted to be in control.
Chelsea definitely a pit bull. She just wouldn't let go of anything.
Sheila is more a terrier- terriers are always barking
Adam-Lab or golden retriever, a push over
Sharon-a collie: an instigator (mole); only needs to say one word and sits back and watches the others run with it.

Zoetawny--- I almost spit up my coffee seeing the Beavis and Butthead graphic...

Laura and Terry-- HOW FUN! I think the only cruise I could tolerate is the Alaska one, I get horribly motion sick

I see F3 as Ryan, Adam, and Sharon.
I, like a lot of you don't know how Adam will vote.

I know I'm coming late to the party, and I'm not sure if it's on another earlier post, but I looked up on IMDb, and I'm pretty sure the movie the luxury comp was tied to is "What Happens In Vegas..." It's release date is May 9, and it stars Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher.

PS-- For those of you (Terry and Laurie) going on the Alaska cruise, have fun! I know quite a few people who have gone on it, and all have loved it. I live in Olympia, WA (south of Seattle), and lots of people from around here go on that cruise, as we don't have to buy airfare to do it. Also, be glad you're not leaving today, as it's SNOWING here! Last weekend was 78 degrees, and this weekend it's 34 and snow... gotta love spring!

Laurie said...

Off topic: Plaidchick, that is exactly why we are doing this one. I am a motion sickness queen and have been assured by all that I can handle this one. I'll let you know!

Off topic: Terry, you are packed? I don't even have the clothes for the trip yet!

On topic: Zoetawny, the graphics are great as usual, although I think an apoloty to the pomeranians is in order. Actually, we need to apologize to all the canines for linking the houseguests to them. It's insulting to each breed.

I'm looking forward to the endurance comp no matter who is in it. I'm thinking Sharon is the only one who has any real endurance, although Sheila could suprise me. She did with the glass houses. The boys? Not so much.

My guess is Ryan, Adam and Sheila.

I do not know who I want to win this. At least on the finale night, I won't be disappointed because it just doesn't matter!

It is in the 70's here today, mostly sunny and March winds are blowing way too far into April. I developed bronkitis and do not feel like getting out much, so it may just be a weekend of couch and tv.

Donna in Alabama said...

Zoetawny, you do such a great job on graphics. My son is attending college to be a graphic artist. Thank you for making them quite entertaining!
Jackie, thank you for enduring this boring season and writing for us to stay caught up. I do not see how you absorb all the information for all the shows you watch and then put into words. Your are great! Also, thanks to this blog we all have become friends and it's like a big old time party line every morning when I check in here. (I don't know if all phones where party lines when any of you were young, but I had a party line phone in the 80s).

Laurie-

Have you tried Bonnine? It is THE absolute best thing I've found for motion sickness. Dramamine makes me so drugged I can't keep my head up, literally. and the wrist bands don't do a thing. Bonnine is rasberry -- chewable -- and has no side effects at all. Works fast, lasts 12 hours. It can be hard to find, not all pharmacies carry them... if you can't find any I can quick mail you some before you take off. Just let me know if you need that.

Sydney said...

oops Plaidchick -- meant to include you on that post about Bonnine...

Laurie said...

Donna, we had a party line when I was growing up. Ah ... back in the day. I have a Delphi forum that is very similar to that idea. We check in and chat about nothing and everything. I'll ask Jackie if I can post the url to it here.

Sydney, thanks for the suggestion. I will look for it. Most people have suggested Dramamine and my response has been that I don't want to sleep through the cruise! We sound a lot alike on this. Another suggestion has been the patch behind my ear, but I've tried transdermal meds before and I break out from the adhesive. Sad, eh? I will look for the Bonnine and let you know if I find it. Thank you so much!

I also am a Motion Sickness Queen, but we've been on 19 cruises. Bonnine is USUALLY available onboard, both in the shops and from the purser's desk. Benedryl will work as well, but it makes me sleepy. I just take a nap when things get rough. It was a 2 day nap on one cruise as we went through the back end of hurricane Wilma. Even though I may get a little queasy at times, it is still so much fun! If you keep busy it really won't bother you as much. Ginger snaps and apples help also when the queasy stuff hits. Apples are easily available onboard & I throw a box of gingersnaps in the suitcase. This hint came from a long time crew member. Have fun & take both warm & cool clothes. It can either be really cold or very hot. When my parents last went it was near 90 each day and they had packed mostly warm clothes.

OK, OK, my apologies to Pomeranians. LOL My stepdaughter has a precious little boy Pom called Rocky. I'll make sure to keep Natpom away from him. But, there's nothing I can do to keep Natpom away from Mattie. ;) Thanks to whoever put up the link to the Pom image.

Terryinca...

I'd keep Reese and Nicky away if I were you.

Nancyinpa...

Nat's always in "heat". I can't wait to see the sequester clips next week when she arrives.

~~silk...

Love the dog associations. :D I used to have 2 Afghans but they didn't talk as much as Sheila.

Donna...

Is your son enjoying school? I wish I had some professional training in graphic arts and some professional computer programs to work with. My BB graphics aren't really my best since the images I can find aren't that good. I like to create the pretty ones. BB just lends itself to making fun of the house guests.

So what's Beavis and Butthead up to today? I'm thinking R will leave his noms the same but I haven't a clue who A will vote out.

Gotta run again but will check back later.

Happy Saturday!

sydney...so this "bonnine" is over the counter? i have meniere's disease( ear problems and LOTS of dizzziness) and instead of going to the drs. all the time for antivert, i have just been buying dramamine, but even the lerss drowsy formula can knock me out..or keep me pretty lethargic. this maty be just what i have been hoping for!

anyone know anything about the sequester house?

i have an old english sheepdog (named rufus)....and i kinda think adam is a lot like him.

Have been lurking and enjoying this site and also want to say to Jackie, "thanks for the great info on the crazy happenings in BB9".

For some up to date videos of the house horrors, I found this site:
http://www.youtube.com/user/Quirkydude

If you go to that site, then scroll down toward the bottom right side of the page, you will find "videos" and see exactly how long ago they were added. They are date current....

Also want to say hello to the person from Plano...I use to live there in about the same area. Am now retired and loving it on the Cumberland Plateau of east Tn.

Thanks for letting me be a hanger-on and enjoy all of your conversations. Great group....

Also...Congrats to your children on being so lucky!

Zoetawny...laughed so hard about Nat being in "heat"...so true :)

Off topic: Shelby, thanks for the info. Even here is SoCal the weather took a big dive today. We had 90s last weekend (too hot), 78s during the week (just right) and it's down to the 60s today (too cold). We plan to pack things we can layer so we can deal with whatever the weather brings us. Theoreticaly it will be cold (for us) but you never know!

Jennasmom, thanks for the advice. I had been told about ginger and planned to take ginger tea with me. Gingersnaps are a good idea, too. Someone suggested straight ginger but that is a little strong.

Zoetawny, what do you use for your graphics? I use Photoshop at work and PaintShop Pro at home. I just dabble with signatures and fun photos for my forum. I can get lost in that stuff, can't you?

Anonymous said...

Laurie I never posted on this blog before but I read your comments on the cruise. Take ginger root tablets. My travel agent suggested these when I took a cruise and it really works. These can be found in the vitamin section at almost any store.

From the live feeds ~

Sharon is in HOH with Ryan trying to get Ryan to take her off the block. She keeps telling him that Adam is shifty and will vote her out and if she is voted out she won't be there to help him win. Ryan keeps telling her that he's going to trust him to vote Sheila out and if he doesn't, when they get down to the F3 he'll choose Sheila over Adam.

Off Topic for cruisers!
None of you are motion sickness queens--I am! We cruise at least twice a year and through all kinds of weather. My first stop every cruise is the front desk----before we sail! I use the medication they give out there and it works very well. I am sure it is bonine. I figure, why buy it. Also, I order ginger candy from
www.vermontcountrystore.com
and it works like a charm. Have done trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific with no problems. The Mediteranian is the worst!

You will love Alaska! My favorite cruise! Do take the helicopter tour to the glacier in Juneau. A once in a lifetime experience!

Jackie, thanks again for all your work and for attracting such a great group of people!

Off topic on seasickness: I've never taken a cruise for fear of being sick the entire time. I get dizzy just by being on docks of small, calm lakes! I have taken ginger capsules in the past, but have also got heartburn from them. Dramamine knocks me out like anesthesia, so I'm going to look for the bonine. Who knew my guilty pleasure (BB) would lead to a potentially life changing piece of information! Thanks all!

Oh...and I do hope that Ryan saves Sharon. I need to hope that a somewhat normal person has a chance at the prize. sigh.

I use Paint Shop Pro 9. I'm still learning new things to do with it.
The newest version, PSP XII, is out now but I didn't like X so I'm sticking with 9. I do get lost in it but wish I had more time to play.

So, the girls are campaigning big time now, huh? Do we have any idea which way R is leaning? I was surprised that R voted out Nat and A voted out Sharon. It appeared as if they would have done the opposite. With these guys even the best guess could be wrong.

Thanks to all of you reporting here on the live feeds. Most days I don't have the time to be surfing around the net. I always come here first so I really appreciate the updates from you and Jackie.

The temp is only 61 here in CA at 5:34 P.M.

Bonnine is OTC Antivert, which I have a prescription of. My MIL has horrible motion sickness and when her ears get plugged up she takes Bonnine, and that helps her.

I also have Promethazine which is generic Phenergan. Similar to Dramamine, I have to take it to keep my ears opened up so I don't get so dizzy and nauseous I can't move. Blech.

I love those who don't experience migraines or motion sickness and have no sympathy. I take the stuff to get on airplanes, and in the car when we go to the mountains. Sea and boats.. I just can't handle.

I do know a lot of people use the ear patches to get on cruises. Also the Hawaiian cruises skirt the coast of the islands and is suppose to be smooth as well.

Gayle -- I think I read you right when you wrote that Sharon said I can help YOU -- meaning Ryan -- Win. Now who would ever believe that Sharon would rather help Ryan win over herself. I don't know how you do it! My sister went on 2 cruises in the Carribean-- one was fine, the other was choppy and she wasn't too happy. I just hate the idea of spending all the money, not enjoying myself, and wanting to go home the second we hit land.

Send me to the mountains or the beach. It was 85 here in Dallas today!

Off topic/on cruise topic (grin)
Thank you everyone who piped up to help me with the motion sickness. A couple years ago we went to Maui(first time) and took a boat to Molokini. Everyone said it would be fine, it was a catamaran, smooth sailing ... yeah, I've never been so sick in my life and I wasn't the only one.

Our trip is to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary (which is really tomorrow) and the trip is a dream we've always had and never thought we'd be able to do. I really want to enjoy it so I shall try some of these things before I go and see how I do flying. I have a trip to San Fran on May 2, so that will be a good test.

Anon, I didn't even know there were ginger root tablets. That sounds really good and I will try that. I guess I should check my my doctor before I take anything to be sure I don't take something that would be bad with the meds I take daily.

Our cruise leaves Seattle on the 16the May. 3 weeks and 6 days from today but who's counting?

On topic: I don't think anyone can trust anyone. The only thing we can count on is that Ryan won't go home this week. Sharon is sure working on him, isn't she?

Sydney said...

Nancy in PA --
Yes, Bonnine is over the counter. You shuold find it right next to Dramamine. It is in a blue package and the pills are pink. You may want to try it. I had to take anit-vert at one point and I never thought to try Bonnine for it.

SharonS I get motion sick if I am not driving the car, often. I'm fine on planes, but I can't do much else. Dramamine and Benadryl are effective, because you are essentially in a coma, lol.

I've heard Ginger helps, but I have never taken the chance. They gave out ginger pills to all the people with us going out to the great barrier reef. My hubby and I took Bonnine. Every one of those people were green and tossing their cookies and laying down the entire 2 1/2 hour trip and thank god we were completely unaffected. I offered the sickest folks Bonnine when we stopped for lunch and they were all fine on the way back! (We were not on a big cruise ship though, but a fairly big day tour boat. Ginger may work great on a nice cruise liner).

And that is my testimonial :-D !!!!

I hate to tell you all but you are just Motion Sick. princesses because I AM THE QUEEN!! Planes, trains, and automobiles...not to mention boats, amusement rides, and the opening of movies if they are moving really fast! I've been on 4 cruises and only got sick taking the tender(it's a small taxi-type boat) in Cozumel. I've used the trans-derm. patch with no problems. I loved hearing all the other remedies. I may try some on my next road trip.
**LAURIE--I am sending you a message on your blog regarding the cruise and Seattle.

Looks like the POV ceremony will be tomorrow. Shouldn't there be an eviction soon? If not, how are they going to get a 3-part comp. in by Wed.?

Shelby--You are in Olympia??? Are you new to this site....I haven't seen you comment before. I live in Tacoma!! So glad to see(or read) someone else from the great NW.

Jackie--I hope you were able sit down, put your feet up and watch something for pleasure not work.

I'll check back when I get home.

I don't know about Adam winning over Ryan. I really think Ryan would win. Adam pretty much irritated quite a few.

I don't see Adam as a yellow lab or golden retreivers, they're too good and loyal dogs. Sure they're push overs, but there such good at heart dogs. Adam seems more like a bulldog or pekineese, or some dog that's a pushover or slobbers. I don't know, as I said, labs and golden retreivers are very loyal pets, I can't see Adam being that loyal. LOL

Laurie and Terry, have a wonderful time on your tour! How lucky you are!!! We want all details and pictures when you get back! Have fun!
