My latest BB9 live feeds report is up over at TV Squad. I'll be reporting here again later tonight. It's a snoozefest for the most part there today, literally.
Blog reader Sydney wanted to know if I have a personal choice for the win. I really haven't had one since the start of the season. I know I don't want Sheila to win, but I'm a bit ambivalent after that.
Readers were also trying to figure out a comp rigged for Sheila to win. I'd say it would be an endurance comp. Yep, you heard me. But twist the endurance to her talents. Who can drone on and on, then on all over again? You got it. An endurance contest for nonstop talking!

Sheila could win a "who can drone on the longest" contest as long as she could repeat herself every few sentences. She's a single mom, you know.
Love your shot of spring. We take that for granted here in SoCal but I imagine it's very special to see that where you live. Brrrrrr!
Ha, that was what I was thinking about early today, Jackie. Give them 10 minute time slot, set it up in the yard, with one at a time out there. They would have to talk for the entire time. Then bring them all out with a score board set up with their names and under it the total number of words spoken in the 10 minutes. Whoever had the most words...wins!

Were you feeding the pidgeons again? ;) It's so amazing to see that first new growth after the trees and ground have been barren all winter.
I used to love to feed the swans in the pond in a nearby park when I was a kid. There was even one black swan there. My Mom finally got wise when the bread was disappearing so quickly. In the Winter months the pond would freeze over and we would ice skate on it.
I'm babbling like Shreika now. Whoops! Running over to TS now to find out the latest.

Now I'm laughing at my own post. I just read your live blogging and it turns out Sheila mentioned her single mother stuff often today. Who knew?

Let's see: Sheila can't say she's a single mom. Gnat can't say she didn't give Mattie a bj. Sharon can't talk about Jacob. Ryan .. well Ryan can't talk for 10 minutes so it doesn't matter. Adam can't talk and touch himself anywhere. Is that everyone?

That's exactly what I do with the 2nd graders at my grandchildren's school. They read a story as fast as possible for 1 min. and then have 1 min. to tell me what they read!! Their scored on how many words they read and what they comprehended.
She-rock could certainly win the talking part but I'm not sure her re-tell would be great---although she says the same thing every 30 sec.......

Jackie, how you manage to find these wondrous little details when your knee is hurting, you have your job, writing all the TV Squad stuff on deadlines, and all of us always chirping for more is beyond me. Especially in the rush rush world of east coast life. It takes a certain state of mind to spot things worth photographing, then to have the camera ready, and capture the moment. My pic would have the pigeon just looking AWAY, or blurred as he'd decide to take off just as my shutter clicked!

Jackie, great pictures, BUT were you loring that pigeon for Roofus's supper. HAHA
I have a question. Don't they usually have seven people on the jury in the end? If so, then Chelsia, Joshuah, James and Sharon will have the majority vote, with only Matt and whichever other two people Gnat stabs in the back (from Team Christ) with three votes.
I really can't see Gnat taking Adam or Ryan to the f3 when there might be a good possibility of Adam or Ryan getting those four votes instead of Gnat. She'd have a better chance taking Sheila to the end, wouldn't she?

Great comp idea Jackie. I was trying to think of one that involved floating, but can't come up with anything. But, I remembered something else that might work. There is a type of card game (bunko? bridge? ) we used to play. I have forgotten the name. But the lowest score (the loser in other words) won...backward bridge maybe?) I loved it, it was the only time I ever won!
I heard Nat say something recently. She was talking about loving football and all the football items she had at her home and work. She said, 'That is what Sunday's are for...to watch football'. Made me wonder if she has a home church.

Is anyone is even thinking about these things in the house? I have stopped looking into anything but the show so I have no idea if they are. But something tells me they're not?
Speaking of talking.....I thought it was hilarious that BB had to caption Adam when he was talking!!! He was in the DR and wasn't whispering, just speaking in that garbled talk(you know, like he has a mouth full of food).
Of course, if we want Sheila to LOSE to talking comp. make them talk for 10minutes BUT never use the words I or me!!
Zoe--my Josie did miss me. My hubby tried but she is a bit difficult to handle and he was amazed that I did it all day. We were suppose to go to dinner Sun. night but after my 8 hr. drive I decided to stay home with my doggie. She was a happy puppy.

James has decided he is going to start trashing on Nat. to get her upset. Then on Tues. he will keep her up all night so she will do poorly in the HOH comp.(he wants Sharon to win it). Ryan told James that Adam threw the POV comp. so he could win. That makes Adam look like he was forced to put up James. If Adam had won he would have had to veto his own noms. to get James on the block. James is NOT happy! I think a storm is brewing over Southern Cal. It could be an interesting 48 hrs. Sheila seems to be sitting back enjoying it all.
DWTS starts in 20 mins.

I'm so sick of of NN and Sheila, but you know someone will take Sheila at least to the final 3. Has to happen. She can't win the type of competitions they have after final 4. She would be like Jameka in final 4, and their is no way she would win the round 1 endurance or the round 2 physical and round 3 memory/guessing sort of thing. Yye, Yye, Yye. Get NN out and soon.

Or was that when she said excuse me? Geesh! I'm tired of the Maggie's nerd herd, Amber's good people and all the good vs. evil in Big Brother. Everyone has to lie at some point to make it to the end of this game. That's why Dr. Will (Evil Dr. Will, lol) is the most beloved of all time. He did it the entire season of BB2.

Hey, Nana - I had a problem with not being able to remember my password. I finally went to www.blogger.com and was able to get it re-set.
After going to the site, I entered my email address, then instead of entering my password, I clicked on the "?" mark to the right of "Password". I was sent an email with a link to re-set. Now all I have to do is get this feeble brain of mine to remember what I set it to.
I know what you mean about sitting down for a few minutes, then next thing you know, an hour's gone by! I got home from work shortly after 5:00 and thought I'd do a quick check to see what's happened in the house today. . . . .and now, here it is, 2 1/2 hour later!
I saw that there's going to be a try out in Portland. Cool Beans, as Nichomas (sp) would say. I wouldn't mind taking a peek to see what kind characters it'll draw.
Adam threw the comp so Ryan could win? I believe that because I thought the pigs were flying again when Ryan won. Without a woman to lead him I don't think he could do anything but grunt and eat.

Love your Spring is sprung picture!And,as I mentioned before it was 70 and mostly sunny here today. So nice,but then I see the forecast and we will have snow showers and 40's by this weekend. RATS!!I love the compostion of this picture,the gray and then the contrast of that lone bud,so pretty.I'm trying to capture decent pix of all my kitties and then will try to put a picture with my posts. Baby steps,that's what it takes me to try and master these things...LOL.

Sydney, I'm not about to drive 4 hours to Houston to be the over 30 chick that doesn't have a hot bod, but to see what kind of people who do show up would be interesting. Besides I couldn't handle the lights in that house. I would be Marcellis with my bandana over my eyes all the time. My theory is that the applicants already have contact casting agents to get them on the show, thus why all the 20-something size 0 people.

Ok as far as future comps-- one of the upcoming POVs has to be the timed morphed face competition. Now that will be good TV to watch Sheila spend 45 minutes trying to figure out who is who, for the exception of who they morph her face with.
Wait that's it! The competition will be all morphed Sheila faces with other HG's and she wins!

I went into the BB site on CBS to see what I could find out about the upcoming auditions. Just for the fun of it, I looked at the requirements. #9 says applicants must be in excellent physical and MENTAL condition.
Is this a new rule?????

Good logic! Of course they aren't thinking because they're so busy pointing fingers at who lied about what to whom.
It's very interesting that when Dr. Will, legendary BB puppet master and manipulator lied he never seemed to get any wrath from viewers and/or posters. I think it was because he was honest about that fact that he was going to lie. I know that sounds like an oxymoron but I think you know what I mean. He lied without being mean spirited or hypocritical. Besides, he had that charismatic grin. ;)

Thanks for posting the audition list. (That was you, right? Sorry if it wasn't and I screwed that up.) I thought it was odd that there were no auditions in L.A. I wonder if CBS alternates states/cities each season?
