Christine wins another duel! Mikayla is history now.
Hmm ... Ozzy told Cochran that (worse case scenario) someone needs to beat Christine and he might hand off the idol to someone, beat Christine so he'd come back. Hmm ...
Meanwhile, Coach is getting Coachy praying and leading others on a wild goose chase for the idol he has. Oh my gosh, the praying worked! They miraculously found the hidden idol! @@
Immunity challenge's reward is a screening of Jack and Jill w/Adam Sandler.

Since Cochran screwed Savaii's chances for immunity, all of a sudden Ozzy doesn't want to go to Redemption Island.
YIKES! Ozzy retrieved his idol and is once again saying he'll go. Despite his tribe's disapproval, they do his bidding. He gives the idol to Cochran who does NOT play it.

I'm with you Monty. Although if the promos are (never!) to be believed, someone sends someone intentionally to Redemption. I assume it was because they had to send someone anyway but we'll see.
I wonder if it has occurred to Christine's old tribe that if they had kept her, they might not have lost some of the competitions.

Maybe. But Christine did kind of sink herself. After all, Brendon was trying really hard to boot Mikayla at that first tribal but Christine had declared war on Coach and refused to back down. She really has herself to blame for being there. But she sure has fought well since she's been there.

I think it is unfair that someone could come back after one win while Matt and Christine have such a long length of wins. Just MHO, but that is what I think. It would be faier to say win three in a row and YOU can pick which tribe you want to return to.

I agree with you, Jackie. Who would have thunk it! Coach is more likeable (except for his postering) and Coach is so unlikeable and lazy.
really couldn't figure out what the deal was with the rope. I mean they tied and untied like 4 times without incident and then they were totally tied up in it that last time.

Honestly, Cochran shouldn't have just sat there and took that crap. He's letting them think that they aren't voting him out, they're sending him on a noble quest. That's BS and he's got nothing to lose by pointing that out to them. I mean that was also a ridiculously awkward scene.
So far the Cochran could win any challenge they've played on Redemption Island. I'm just glad Ozzie didn't agree to go. I do believe Cochran could win on Redemption if he'd have a little confidence in himself.

And, the other problem is, if Ozzy does come back, will Cochran give the idol back? Plus, if Ozzie does not win, and the team loses, they can't vote Cochran out because he has the idol. Wow - this is amazing ---ly DUMB!!!

I think it was a crazy move....but IF Ozzy wins & IF they then merge & IF Cochran gives him the idol back...that's a lot of IF's..but then he'll look like a winner!
On the other side of the coin..I fear my 'pool' girl Christine is now in the position of "can't win". Ozzy will be her toughest competion yet and realistically he should beat her. And if she somehow does defeat the OZ, coupled with all her previous wins...and she makes the merge, she will probably be feared by the others as a true competitor and have a 'bullseye' on her back'. She's painted herself into a corner.

I haven't watched the show yet, but my love assured me that he doesn't go home until after the merge, so in my heart I think he must be safe.

If he does beat Christine at redemption, if Cochran does give back the idol, etc. I don't think Cochran is giving that baby back, and I can't say that I would blame him. Ozzy wasn't so Survivor smart on this one. He is an animal on challenges, but you have to STAY in the game to be a contender. sigh :-)

But I did get my drink on, and was so excited to get home to watch my baby. And maybe it was all the drinks i'd had, but i truly didn't think he was being stupid. I think he was being brave.

I'm finally watching the show this fine Sunday afternoon. I feel bad for Cochran ... even though I know he doesn't go to the island.
I'd like to see coach go to the island. His false use of prayer really rubbed me the wrong way. Then telling everyone to get on their knees for prayers of thankfulness and then boasting about all the prayer? Nah, didn't like it.
