Okay, it's actually going to start on time here! Woot! Tonight's two-hour season finale will have four teams whittled down to three into the final dash of the world whirlwind race. I know many don't like Leo and Jamal. But I don't mind them so much at all. It's Tim and Marie (my fellow NJ peeps) who irk me. Please don't let them win!
For those who want to know and didn't catch it, I posted the casting spoilers on next season's race. Beware, these are SPOILERS. Don't click on the link if you don't want to know. Please keep casting comments on that post -- I don't want folks complaining here about revealed spoilers.

Teams are flying to Tokyo and have to find their next clue amidst cat statues reminiscent of Hello Kitty a bit. Leo and Jamal got an earlier flight than the other teams.
Detour - Knock it Down or Call it Up -- they have to be a human bowling ball or call from roughly inside a fish tank. The first is one of those rather wacky Japanese game shows. The phone call bit is in a defunct phone booth turned goldfish tank.
Leo and Jamal are in the lead after the Detour, but hit their speed bump. They have to catch a fake rhino.
Roadblock - has them building robots. Gah! Marie finished first with the robots! Nicole once again is working with Amy because she can't do a task! Tim and Marie are at the clue for the Pit Stop.
Pit Stop order:
1. Tim and Marie (grr). Won a trip to Aruba.
2. Jason and Amy
3. Nicole and Travis
4. Leo and Jamal - Philiminated
At this point, I really would like a Jason/Amy win. The other two teams irk me, Tim/Marie more irksome than Nicole/Travis, but ...!
Teams are flying to Alaska, their final destination. All three teams are on the same flight.
The Roadblock is a flight task in which they have to drop flour bags onto a target from a small plane.
They have an ice expedition coming up, then have to chip a clue out of ice.Right now, Jason/Amy are in the lead, Tim/Marie quite a bit behind, Nicole/Travis struggling to get through the Roadblock. Nicole has been doing horrible at the tasks, but Travis's attitude about her doing so poorly is getting on my nerves, too.
From there, they have to paddle a kayak to an island to get the next clue. Amy/Jason still in the lead. Nicole/Travis finally made it to the ice expedition bit, but are still struggling.
The final task has them making totem poles representing the currencies of the countries in order. Amy and Jason still in the lead.
THE WINNERS ARE AMY AND JASON! Woot!
Travis is being obnoxious, Nicole is being inept.

Hey, Lynn. I brought a bottle of wine and salad, so we are set.
Thank you, Jackie. I looked at all the "take out" pictures and my imagination went to town.
The missing stew meat - DH took the meat out of the water in the sink where I had put it to thaw and set it on the counter. It disappeared! Since the dogs are too small to reach the counter we determined that Calvin had jumped up there and knocked it off. Does Vincent do that? We found the empty package on the back porch.
Next Sunday is the Survivor finale...hours and hours of it!!

I do not want Tim/Marie or the cousins to win. They will probably end up one and two.
Becky - Vincent hasn't much interest in people food and generally stays off the counters. I believe he did get up there and lick my butter I accidentally left out once, though.
I am sticking to my plan to root against Tim and Marie and the cousins instead of for anyone, ;-)
Jackie, Calvin's thing is knocking anything off of counters, tables, book shelves, etc. He does it at night when he wants us to get up and feed him or any time he wants our attention.

Late because I'm fuming about my mother in law. LOL
She's a wonderful, wonderful person. I had sent her coats for my daughter to try on for Christmas. She also had boots for Christmas. She asked me if I wanted my daughter to try the boots on, too. I said no, they will fit, she only needs to try on the coats.
Before I hung up, she double checked to make I did not want her to try on the boots, I said no. They will fit, just the coats. So, she said she'd put the boots under the bed.
We got a call about an hour later to say the boots fit Nicole, but not the coat. My jaw fell. My husband had to take the phone from me because I was just about to blow my top. Now, I have NOTHING to surprise my daughter with for Christmas. I am so angry.
In my MIL's defense, she's been forgetting things. But, wow, an hour before that, I told her not the boots and she repeated it. I'm not a happy camper. :-(
Yes, Becky, I loved the picture of the dogs with Santa! I wish my dogs would sit that pretty and still.

Penny, they are not nearly as good as my girls were about posing. I guess because I used to take the girls to an Assisted Living facility and always posed them with the residents and took pictures to give them the next trip. You have no idea how many pictures they took yesterday.
Oh, I hope they have trouble with the speed bump.

Becky, I had pictures taken with my late mini poodle Binx with Sarah, our Beagle when they were young. They posed so well. Can't do it with my 4 dogs now. They are like nailing Jello to a wall. LOL
I loved the pictures though; and the pictures of them with your mom and her friends. How sweet.
Please let Jason and Amy win. It would be nice for the good people to win one for a change of pace from the rest of the shows this year.

The problem with helping Nicole, is it did put Amy and Jason behind. They could have been first in the last leg, but Amy helped Nicole. Would Nicole have helped Amy if the tables had been turned?
There will be a matching game in here someone where they'll have to match something to the countries they've visited.

Becky - I dislike them, too. But Nicole and Travis are horrible and his lack of support is just as bad as her being so inept. They SHOULDN'T win. Tim and Marie at least are good at the tasks although obnoxious as people. I really want Amy/Jason to win, though.

Travis is such an a hole, she has done all of the hard task and he has just complained I would be ready to divorce him when I got home, he is just a pessimist, he couldn't be my doctor,I wanted them to win but not now, I dont want him to win one red cent.
I'm happy with the results. Some teams for next season no to excited to see again.
