Survivor 45: Living the Survivor Dream - Ep. 13 Season Finale Blog Party

Yep, tonight is the three-hour (oy!) season finale.

I will be live blogging the show the best I can as it airs here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest updates. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Lifeguard SueGee has updated the blog pool. Here's where we stand:

Austin --- Pearl, Nora M, Sharon N
Jake --- Donna in FL, TS14Fan
Katurah --- Donna NY, April W
Dee --- Judi Sweeney, Brent McKee
Julie --- Andi, PDX Granny

JURY
Kaleb
Kellie
Kendra
Bruce
Emily
Drew

Survivor fans ready?

They are starting out on a new beach tonight. There will be two Immunity Challenges, two Tribals. We get into the Previously On segment.

Austin was definitely blindsided by the Drew vote. He had no clue. He wants to talk with Dee about it. He tells her no hard feelings and that it was probably a good game move. Meanwhile, back at the camp Katurah, Julie and Jake are talking about what a pair Dee and Austin are.

In the morning they see a box. Three stations around island -- coconuts, crabs, bamboo -- count them and use the number as a combination to open it. First person to solve it gets an advantage.

JAKE wins the advantage!

To the first Immunity Challenge. Crawl under obstacle, dig up machete, cut down sandbags, untie knots, throw three sandbags in baskets, reveal numbers, retrieve keys, climb tower, puzzle. Winner gets Reward -- Sanctuary dinner. Jake gives Jeff his advantage -- two of his sandbags will be in the baskets, he only has to land one in the closest basket. Jake is in the lead. But he forgets to bring his key and has to go back for it, costing him time.

AUSTIN wins Immunity and a guaranteed place in the Final Four! Austin chooses Jake to go with him because he hadn't won any rewards and it was such a battle this time.

Katurah still wants Dee to go. She talks to Julie. Julie wants to keep Dee and get Jake out. All three women talk about voting out Jake. Meanwhile, Jake and Austin are drinking wine and eating steak. Austin tells us he wanted to bring Jake for strategic reasons. Jake tells him he has an idol. Jake would like Julie out tonight.

They return to camp where Austin tells Dee that Jake has an idol and wants Julie out. Dee and Austin both would prefer Katurah out rather than Julie. Jake tells Katurah that he has an idol and now she thinks they can send Dee home. Dee tells Julie that Jake has an idol.

They head to Tribal and it's very confusing who will be going home tonight.

Tribal Night 24 commences. Tribal is not contentious. Time to vote. It looks like everybody is getting a vote on them except Austin!

The tally - Jake plays his idol for Katurah.
Katurah, Jake, Dee, Julie, Julie.

Bye-bye, Julie.

Night 24 at camp. Jake is angry because Dee is still there. He's snapping at Katurah. She says she voted Julie because she thought there was another vote out there for her. She would have voted Dee had she known he was going to play his idol on her.

Final Immunity Challenge. Maneuver bowls on a perch walking through a frame. First person done wins. 17 total bowls.

Austin accidentally dumps his. Jake and Dee are at around ten bowls. Ack! Jake loses his. Dee is at 14 bowls! Jake breaks his frame thing returning for his bowls and gets disqualified.

DEE WINS THE FINAL IMMUNITY CHALLENGE! She will decide who to bring with her and which two must duel with making a fire.

Jake tells Dee not to take him (she didn't plan to anyway) and wants to make fire so he could have a move he makes. Dee warns Katurah to work on her fire. Austin goes to help Jake with his fire and realizes how bad he is at. He goes to Dee and suggests she keep Jake and put him on fire against Katurah.

Tribal Council time. What will Dee do? Jeff asks about Dee's conversations with each of them. Katurah says Dee was worried about her strengths. Austin tells Jeff he was willing to make fire. But he doesn't know if he will or not. Jake wanted to make fire, didn't want to be taken.

Dee brings Austin -- so Jake and Katurah will make fire. JAKE WINS!

Katurah admits to all that she's a lawyer before Jeff snuffs her torch. Love all around. Austin, Dee and Jake are the Final Three.

The Final Three get their big breakfast feast. They talk about the jury members, Kaleb first. Kaleb tells us he's a bit partial to Jake. Kellie, Kendra (who speaks highly of Austin). And on and on.

The Three head to Final Tribal.

Kendra - I want to feel your truth. How did you make the game yours?Jake? Nothing I wouldn't do. I cried a lot but I love the game. Dee? My reason was my family. Day be day, having fun. Austin? I was the alternate, wanted to do everything.

Katurah - Facing your fears. Austin - blindside thing, lying to someone's face. Dee - Feels the same way, betraying or blindsiding. Jake - Fear of failing but getting right back up.

Drew - Reba Core Four success? Dee - loved it because it was the four of us. Austin agrees. Austin's name was never written down.

Emily - Dee use a decision with your brain, not heart. I need to build my relationships.

Kaleb - Congratulates Jake. Jake says he tried to build relationships. He had to keep trying.

Kellie - Saving others? Not telling people? Austin had an idol and played one for Julie.

Julie - Questions Dee and Austin. Showmance? Is it real? Dee says real. Austin says real, not strategic. Dee admits to Austin that she told Julie the vote.

Time to vote. Kendra votes Austin. Emily votes Dee. Drew votes Austin.

The tally -- Dee, Austin, Dee, Austin, Dee, Austin, Dee, Dee.

DEE WINS SURVIVOR 45!

Congratulations to blog pool winners Judi Sweeney and Brent McKee!

Survivor 46 sneak peek - newbies. Yay! February.

The Amazing Race 35: A Sunset, Seattle Scramble - Ep. 12 Season Finale Blog Party

Yes, we're at the season finale. Although I have my random blog pool pick still in there as well as an outright personal favorite team apart from the pool, any of the three teams remaining winning this would be fine. All three teams are likable and have really done their best ... with no arguing or nastiness. Kudos to all three!

I will be live-blogging and updating this post constantly as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest updates. As always, the real blog party is in the comments. I hope to see you there!

Lifeguard SueGee has once again updated the blog pool and here's where we stand going into tonight's show:

Greg & John -- Brent McKee, Jackie, Judi Sweeney
Joel & Garrett -- ChicMc, Ethan, Willie J, Jasonuwp
Rob & Corey -- marthalight, PDX Granny, Sharon N

Are you ready? Let's GO!

Skipping through the Previously On bits!

Rob/Corey get the clue that directs them to fly to Seattle, Washington. The next clue will be at the base of the Space Needle. The three teams are on the same flight.

The teams are RUNNING to their vehicles at the airport. At least with the Space Needle so tall, it's easy to find. They have to walk around the rim of the Space Needle for the next clue. Only one member of a team has to go alone. Rob/Corey are first. Corey is doing the walking! He finds a clue leading him to a man and the glass center. John up next.

Rob/Corey have the next clue - Seattle Scramble - Grunge, roadie. Grab, acrobatic. Glass, blow glass.

John/Greg are at the glass blowing to earn a piece of the next clue. Rob/Corey arrive at Grab. Corey finishes it. Rob's turn. Oh, not so good! Joel/Garrett are at the glass blowing with John/Greg .... both teams are having problems.

Joel/Garrett finish the glass blowing first! They have taken over first place. Rob finally got his knees on the bar but didn't have enough momentum for the other person to catch him. Wait! Next try he did it!

Joel/Garrett heading to Grunge. John/Greg finish Glass and head to Grunge. Grunge has them working as a roadie for a band. Set up the stage for their band. Corey/Rob are also heading to Grunge.

Now all three teams are at Grunge. Joel/Garrett are so close to being done. They finish and the band Smokey Brights comes out and um ... plays. They have to do Grab, then be done with the Scramble.

Rob/Corey finish Grunge and the Black Tones play. Argh ... my blog pool team John/Greg are way behind on Grunge. Finally got it and they are on their way to Grab.

Rob/Corey are at Glass. Garrett is having problems with the trapeze. Joel finally does the Grab right. Then Garrett! They are in the lead. The clue parts end up being a plane with an address in Kenmore, Washington. Meanwhile, the brothers are doing well on Grab, Corey/Rob not so much in Glass. Ah, Rob/Corey finish Glass!

Joel/Garrett get the final clue first. Roadblocks and Detours on kayaks, teams must put in chronological order. Uh-oh ... Rob/Corey seem lost on the way. All three teams are at the kayaks now. Joel/Garrett are SO close to being done but can't figure out why they are not passing the check.

Greg/John finish first and get the clue to head to the Pit Stop. Joel/Garrett make it through now, too.

Pit Stop order
1. Greg/John - my blog pool pick team WIN THE AMAZING RACE 35!
2. Joel/Garrett
3. Rob/Corey

This has been such a good season.

BB25: Live Season Finale Blog Party

We made it! We lived through this too long season of 100 days in the Big Brother house. While the first half of the season was good, once we hit the Zombie week it was like the season itself jumped the shark. But we stayed. And, yeah ... there were some gems here and there. I would never have predicted the final three to be Bowie Jane, Matt and Jag.

Tonight, on the two-hour finale, we will see:
  • The rest of Part One of the final HOH comp which had its start aired on the Tuesday show.
  • Part Two of the final HOH comp which is taped.
  • Part Three of the final HOH comp which will be live.
  • The Jury Roundtable with Dr. Will (which sounds great!)
  • Live eviction down to the Final Two
  • Jury questions
  • Final Two speeches
  • The voting and winner of BB25
  • America's Favorite Player
  • Whatever "holiday surprise" Julie was talking about. I'm in fear because I've seen promos for it with Britney, Frankie and Danielle in holiday pajamas.
I will be live blogging the show as it airs here on the East Coast. As I will be constantly updating, refresh the page to get the latest happenings! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- I hope to see you there!

Before we get started, Lifeguard SueGee has updated the blog pool. I find it hard to believe I'm still in my own blog pool! Here's where we stand ...

Bowie Jane - Jasonuwp, Sally, Rachel C, Jessica U, Joyce Johnson
Matt - Brenda, Helenann2k, Brent McKee, Chrob61
Jag - Barbara W, Jackie, Donna in Alabama, Mary C

JURY
Cameron
Cory
Blue
America
Cirie
Felicia

Hamster watchers ready?

Julie tonight

I sat through the Previously On segment.

We go to the Part One of the HOH in which they are hanging on suspended balls crashing into stuff. We get diary room bits on why each needs to win. They are getting hit with goo, hair and ice-cold rain. They have to move down from the disk to the bubble. Bowie Jane out at an hour 24 minutes. Jag and Matt want to do rock-paper-scissors. Jag goes down. MATT is the winner of Part One!

Bowie Jane and Jag will compete in Part Two. Julie tells us the Dr. Will Roundtable is up next.

Here we go! Felicia comes in to join them. They talk about Bowie Jane and her non-game. America thinks floating worked as a strategy for her. They talk about control. Cory thinks Jag was more in control. Cirie thinks he manipulated so many. This is really good. I'm not able to keep up with each statement. They say Matt has a better social game than Jag. Lots of positive talk about Matt. His worst moves were not owning up to his moves in the game.

Bowie Jane's parents are in the crowd from Australia.

Part Two of the HOH Comp! Competitions have to be sent back to their proper universe. Zipline back and forth, chronological orders for the comps in the correct universes.

Jag studied hard but never paid attention to what universe each comp came from. He's having all kinds of problems. Finally gets it. He thinks his performance was horrible. Then it's Bowie Jane's turn. I wish she would stop shouting in the Diary Room. Like Jag, she didn't pay attention to which universe each comp was from. She seems to be doing worse than Jag. Finally she finishes. JAG wins Part Two! 1 hour 2.56 minutes vs. Bowie Jane's hour and a half.

Jag has final two deals with both Matt and Bowie Jane. Now, that can't happen, right?

Time for Part Three HOH comp! Meowmeow Enterprises sends them Jury Verse. How well do they know the jury? Videos, three statements about the jury person, one is false. Six videos.

1. Both right
2. Both right
3. Both right
4. Both right
5. Both right
6. Both wrong

To a tiebreaker. How many minutes was the When Universes Collide Part One comp from the start to when Jag went down?
Matt 140 Jag 163 -- 176 is right.

JAG wins Part Three!

To the living room.
Matt - Jag, my boy. Love you, had each other's back. Let's keep it real.
Bowie Jane - Good buddies, would like to be in the final two, lots of money on the line.

Jag chooses to evict ... he tells both good things about them. He chooses to evict Bowie Jane. He has to take Matt to the final two. She's good about it.

Bowie Jane tells Julie she told Jag he had to do what is right for him. Short and sweet interview.

Jury questions time. Three questions for each finalist.
Cirie - Matt - Through game Jag leader, you follower. What moves were your own? Saved Jag's game. We did everything together, why we're here.
Cory - Jag - You and Matt working together, did you carry Matt to final two? I made it happen, I was the leader.
Felicia - Matt - 2 occasions you told me you were thinking of evicting Jag, real or lie? I was loyal to Jag, told you what you wanted to hear.
America - Jag - Goodbye messages you took credit before you never said anything? I finished the job and can own up then.
Cameron - Matt - Lying a big part of the game, strategic lie? Telling people I would take a shot at Jag, telling people what they wanted to hear.
Blue - Jag - Voted out week four, why do you deserve to win the game over the person saving you? Came up with BB mastership game for myself, adapted, my journey in the game is testament to that.
Bowie Jane - Jag - How did your game change for the better when you joined in the Mafia with Matt and me? Loves her.

Final statements from the Final Two.
Matt - First deaf person to play the game, had to play a social game, had to step up, lived in Have Not, almost perfect game, good social game, he worked on his social game rather than the comps, performed when needed to, backed away, team player. I played my own game. Had Jag gone out, I would have been fine.
Jag - I have willed this to be this way, I signed your eviction notices. Got Cam out. Singlehandedly sent Cory and Blue home. I convinced Matt to send Cirie home. I am the most dominant and strategic player in this house. All your blood is on my hands. I am the first Sikh player.

Time to vote.
Cameron - what a road, voting for the guy I told over a month ago.
Cory - Voting for the person I can beat in a fight.
Blue - Team brunette, team blond
America - To the slimiest snake of them all
Cirie - I am loyal, voting person most loyal to me.
Felicia - Neither of you were loyal to me, best ability to get befriended.
Bowie Jane - Keep to my word.

The pre-jury is there. Julie asks Mecole what surprises her the most -- Cameron was the hero rather than the villain. He is flattered. Hisam surprised Mecole is a political consultant. Bowie Jane admits being a criminal trial attorney specializing in money laundering and tax fraud. Felicia brings up her age. She admits being 45.

Cameron, Felicia's famous relative ... Denzel. Felicia admits not true. All are shocked that Jared is Cirie's son. That bit must be watched!

Time to reveal the vote!
BJ - Jag
Felicia - Matt
Cirie - Matt
America - Jag
Blue - Jag
Cory - Jag

JAG WINS BB25! (And JACKIE wins the blog pool for the first time!) Cameron also voted Jag.

America's favorite houseguest. Top three -- Cirie, Matt and Cameron.

CAMERON won it!

There is something going on in the BB House -- Frankie, Danielle and Britney are in laundry bins in storage. They find their doohickey to close the Multiverse. They shoot it and the universes go away one by one. Uh-oh Christmas stuff starts floating around, they have holiday pjs on now.

Brand new show BB Reindeer Gane with legendary BB players. Jordan Derek and Tiffany as Santa's elves. Premieres December 11.

Survivor 44: Season Finale Blog Party - May 24

Good evening!

Welcome to the THREE HOUR season finale blog party! When you have a good season going, it sure can go by quickly! Our current final five are not the ones I would have predicted to be here at this time. Well, maybe Carson. But ... Carolyn? Yam Yam? Nah. I thought they would be early outs or just carried to the end to ensure someone else a win. But everybody has been playing this season.

I will be live-blogging the major events of the show as it airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest updates. As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the fun!

The blog pool has been updated by Wonderful Lifeguard SueGee and here's where we stand:

VA VA (MERGED TRIBE)

Heidi - John Cantrell, PDX Granny
Carolyn - Krysta Gibson, Sydney
Yam Yam - Sharon N, Glenn Allen
Lauren - David, KelseyNY
Carson - Petals, Donna in FL

JURY
Matt
Brandon
Kane
Frannie
Danny
Jaime

Survivor fans ready? Get settled in your comfy chair with snacks and adult beverages at hand. Let's get this party started!

We start out with Jeff talking about the season. Tonight's five are on a new beach. The winner will be announced in Fiji. He says to settle in ... just like I just told you!

The five are at the new beach with new torches. They have nothing but what they brought with them. Heidi told them she found her idol near the cage. Carolyn is looking for an idol, tells Yam Yam she will be looking tonight. The three Tika - Yam Yam, Carson and Carolyn -- talk about how they need to find an idol before the other two.

Carolyn really feels she will find an idol. It's a big search going on. Aha! WE see the idol as Yam Yam and Lauren walk right by it. Lauren needs to find it (like everyone else). She realizes she needs to bond with Tika ... as she campaigns against Carson to all the others. They all think he's the biggest threat. The three Tika seem to be doubting each other.

Day 24 ... only two days more for them. It's time for the first Immunity Challenge of the night. The sun is shining there. Race through a three level obstacle grab keys, unlock chest, drop[ and go up a ladder, solve a puzzle. Reward ... winner goes to the sanctuary -- spaghetti, chocolate and carrot cakes.

Heidi and Carson make it to the puzzle in that order. Carolyn and Yam Yam running behind. All are doing the puzzle. Carson is slightly in the lead.

CARSON wins Immunity! It's his second Immunity win. He chooses one person ... Yam Yam.

Carson and Yam Yam are thrilled at the Sanctuary. They talk Tribal. Yam Yam says that Carolyn is the biggest threat. Carson thinks the Tika Three have a better chance against each other. He thinks Lauren could get a lot of jury votes. Yam Yam thinks it's a mistake. Hmm.

Heidi tells Carolyn that Carson took Yam Yam ... why? Lauren is sure she will be targeted. Heidi tells Carolyn that the vote the last time was to be Carolyn and she wasn't in on the Jaime vote. Now Carolyn is worried about Yam Yam turning on her. She tells the women that Yam Yam might have to be the target.

When the guys return to camp, Yam Yam is automatically paranoid. The Tika Three are together. Carson says Lauren. Carolyn says they need a Tika on the jury. Uh-oh. Yam Yam is worried. Now the plan is to vote for Lauren but Yam Yam will tell her they are voting for Carolyn.

Yam Yam talks to Lauren. She thinks that Tika is just playing games with her and goes out idol hunting. Once again she seems to go by the idol in the tree not seeing it. We see it.

Carson is worried because he knows Carolyn is upset with Yam Yam ... for some reason. We're going to be heading into another unpredictable Tribal.

Tribal Council. Lauren says she thinks she will be going home because no one talked to her. Carolyn acts shocked about that. Jeff brings up the possibility of an idol. Jeff says it's a testament to the gameplay that even he is confused. Yam Yam says he thinks it's him ... or Lauren. Lauren is now in tears. Hmm. She is proud of who she has become in the game.

The tally ... Lauren kids about having an idol. Panic set in.

Yam Yam, Lauren, Heidi, Lauren, Lauren.

Bye, Lauren!

Day 25 ... one day left.

Time for the last Immunity Challenge. Carolyn is crying and is overwhelmed to be there. "We're here! I'm here!" It's another classic challenge ... the one with the balls running down the chute, catch it with one hand tied behind the back, more balls added, drop a ball and you're out.

They are all right-handed. The weather is clear. Two balls going now. Carolyn out first. Three balls. Now four balls. Yam Yam out. Carson is out!

Rats ... HEIDI wins her first Immunity! The Tika Three will be Tika Two.

Heidi thinks she is considering making fire herself to build her resume.

Back at camp she asks if anyone WANTS to make fire. Carson is practicing his fire skills or lack thereof. It took him three minutes at home. Now he's getting emotional and feels he lacks self-confidence. Not doing well at it.

Yam Yam practices and succeeds. He feels emotional as well. Carolyn tells Yam Yam he makes fire well. She thinks she's good at it because she practiced at home for five years. Both of them are good, Carson is not. Yam Yam tries to help him. Carson cries and Yam Yam comforts him. It's a sad scene.

Heidi does well with fire. She knows Yam Yam and Carolyn are good at it. Will she make fire tonight? Nah. They are keeping the suspense for Tribal.

Here we are at Tribal ... Jeff brings up Heidi saying she might make fire. She says she's still undecided. Yam Yam says he likes making fire and he likes being safe. Carolyn says Heidi was looking for a volunteer and it would be a good game move. Carson says it might be a good move for Heidi to go against someone else for her resume.

Heidi decides that Carolyn in the Final Three. Carolyn gets emotional. She talks of being weird and different. She says it's okay to be you. Heidi says Carson will have to make fire. Sigh. SHE IS going to do fire with Carson!

Both Carolyn and Yam Yam are in the Final Three. Who woulda thunk it?

The fire starting is ON. Heidi has flame first. Uh-oh she's in the lead. Carson now has a flame. HEIDI WINS! Jeff says hers was the fastest fire ever made on the show.

Sigh. Carson played such a good game. He tells Jeff he was in tears. He's proud that he even started a decent fire.

Yam Yam, Carolyn and Heidi are the Final Three.

The Three are on the beach. Yam Yam is scared. He doesn't want to sound stupid. Carolyn says she will sound stupider. He thanks her.

Now jury members are saying the pros of Yam Yam's game.

Their feast arrives!

Now it's Heidi tribute time. She thinks the fire boosted her resume. So, we get jury Heidi pros. Carolyn is next mentioning her self-loathing. We get jury Carolyn pro thoughts.

The Three are heading to the Final Tribal and jury questions.

Social, Physical, Strategy questions.
Kane - Explain game, better than the other two. Perception of you and is it accurate. Yam Yam first, not following Carson's step ... Heidi interrupts him. Heidi -- into strategy, then riding tails, was trying strategic. Carolyn -- didn't fit in, found Carson, realness then Yam Yam. She thinks she was underestimated the entire game.

Carson wants to hear more about Heidi's game. She says she suffered a lot. Claims the Tika were on a high through the game. Danny says Tika USED Carson. Yam Yam denies he used just Carson. Danny asks who Heidi used as a shield ... she says it was him but there is a friendship.

Frannie talks social games and managing emotions. She chooses Carolyn to start. Carolyn mentions her drug addiction days. She thought numbing her emotions would be too painful. Yam Yam talks of his love and care. He says some were blank when they talked to him, tried to build real relationships with others. Heidi says she wanted to represent people who are different, Latina in science, tried to control her emotions.

Matt admires all of them for being themselves as it's something he finds difficult.

Physical part of the game? Carolyn -- athletic in real life, thought she would do great but one embarrassing thing after another. Her letter from home brought tears to her eyes over her challenges performance. Heidi speaks up about how she kept trying. Carson asks Heidi about her decision to make fire. She says it was the best opportunity to win the game. She brings up that if she wins, she would be the oldest female winner. Yam Yam says he's not a physical person although his family members are -- he channeled his strength through them. He's the second one to say Jeff was annoying during challenges.

Strategy -- Carson asks Carolyn and she mentions trusting and playing her idol for Carson. She says Danny had to go, she needed him out -- he was controlling. Yam Yam -- strategic moves against those who wrote his name down. He tried not to be a threat, but he can talk. Heidi, right side of the votes a good part of the time. She says she had to keep adapting because she was by herself. She talks of personal growth and living the American dream.

The final three hug each other.

Time to vote for a winner!

Many seem undecided. Carson looked like he struggled. The final three hold hands. Jeff talks about the positivity of the jurors.

Heidi, Yam, Yam, Yam, Yam, Yam.

Yam Yam WINS! (I got lazy in the listing and left out a Yam.) Congratulations to blog pool winners Glenn Allen and Sharon N. You got them bragging rights ... don't spend them all in one place. 😂

The after show is next as well as a sneak peek at next season.

They have champagne and pizza. Danny voted for Heidi. All the other votes were for Yam Yam. They say Yam Yam was the strongest overall control of the game. I feel sad that Carolyn didn't get any votes. Jaime talked about no one believing she gave her idol to Kane. Jeff tells them that Matthew planted that fake idol for her to find. Matthew was medically evacuated with the real idol. Jeff says the fake idol would be in a future season ... real or fake?

Carolyn and Yam Yam in their relationship. Yam Yam says they're married. Matt/Frannie a couple? A showmance? Yep, Matt says they have chemistry. Meanwhile, Danny is nicer on the after show than he was on the show.

Now they are talking about how rough challenges are when they're hungry and dehydrated. Carson gained 30 pounds to be on the show. All admitted to crying at some point or another.

Jeff brings up Carolyn no votes. She cries and says she didn't believe in herself. She says she struggles when she's out of her element. Frannie speaks kindly to her and says she's an inspiration.

Sneak peek at next season. We get backstories on some. Looks like another possibly good cast. Still in Fiji. Looks like Bruce from this season is back!

Survivor 43: Episode 13 - Season Finale - Blog Party - Dec. 14

Tonight's season finale is three hours long. Get some snacks now before it starts!

I will be live blogging the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments section. I hope to see you there!

The Esteemed Lifeguard SueGee has updated the FINAL blog pool -- check it out to find your castaway!

Jesse       AprilW, Donna in AL
Cassidy     Cherrypie, Kelsey NY
Karla       Glenn Allen, monty924
Gabler     Donna in FL, Joanne Victoria
Owen    Mike Barer, SueGee

Jury
Jeanine
James
Ryan
Noelle
Sami
Cody
Karla

Survivor fans ready?

We start off with Night 23 at Tribal and Jesse plays the idol for Owen, votes out Cody. Karla uses her idol because she's worried now. And Jesse still has an idol ... Cody asked him to hold it. Oh my. Survivor brownie points for strategy there, Jesse.

Gabler thinks he is ruling his destiny. We're getting the Final Five thoughts on making it to the end. Karla seems the most worried about how she will do.

They're exploring the new campsite. Oh my ... five envelopes with clues to a secret advantage. They have to solve a long word scramble phrase to get the actual clue to the advantage. Owen thinks the biggest game threats are Karla and Jesse.

Karla figures out the phrase first and is off running as well as she can with her ankle. Then it's Owen off running. He passes Karla. They're both looking for a tree with a knot at the base by the shore. WHOA! Karla worked her way around Owen and snags the clue! Owen is not a happy camper. He was right there and she reached around him!

It's a slight advantage for today's Immunity Challenge.

Day 24 ... Immunity Challenge. Karla presents her advantage paper. Maneuver a buoy in water through obstacles, untie puzzle bag on the beach, transport puzzle blocks on a teeter-totter thing, solve puzzle. They have to carry the puzzle blocks with two hand grip short posts.  Jesse is struggling. Reward - steak, baked potatoes, wine and cheesecake. Karla starts with ten puzzle blocks, approximately a third.

Karla is in the lead. It's a word scramble. All five are trying to solve the puzzle now.

OWEN wins it! "You cannot hide in a dangerous game."

He can choose one person to go with him to the Sanctuary -- he chooses Cassidy. Wow! What a spread! Both are glad that Karla didn't win today. But is she more dangerous than Jesse? Hmm. Owen thinks he would lose in a final three with Jesse. Cassidy would like to see Karla go tonight. Neither think Gabler is a threat. They decide on getting Karla out tonight.

Back at camp Gabler was hoping he could have gone with Owen. He's breaking down physically. Karla and Jesse know that they are the likely targets. No one knows that Jesse has an idol -- it was Jeanine's.

Karla tells us she's telling Jesse she wants Cassidy out, but in reality, she wants Jesse out -- thinking that he made the biggest move of the season getting Cody out. They talk to Gabler, he hears Cassidy. However, Karla takes him aside and goes after Jesse. She talks to Owen about it, too. Then she talks to Cassidy. Cassidy is not as accepting about the Jesse target. Karla pretty much tells her she will poison the jury against her and not vote for her if she makes the final three.

Cassidy runs to Jesse and tells him. Jesse is torn between Cassidy and Karla vote out. He tells us he will use the idol but hasn't figured out HOW he will use it.

Tribal Council time! Jesse says that Karla threw some punches today. Karla talks about Jesse's excellent game move last Tribal. She wants him out and says it. Jesse says he feels good and shows his idol, saying he's punching his ticket to the final four. Jeanine on jury is in shock -- they all thought the idol went home with Dwight. Karla says there are two other options -- Gabler and Cassidy. Hmm.

Whoa -- Karla and Jesse talk and agree to take out Cassidy. Then Jesse talks to Gabler, Owen joins them. Hmm. Cassidy votes Karla.

Jesse plays the idol for himself.

The tally -- Jesse, Karla, Karla, Karla ... three is enough. She takes it very well. When the votes are shown, the other four all voted Karla. I updated the blog pool above.

Right to the final Immunity Challenge. Use a long fork, bowl through a channel in a structure, the platform is suspended on a string, fifteen bowls. I'm thinking this might be something that Gabler could be good at. We'll see. He's leading by just a bit over Cassidy. Jesse is doing the worst.

Argh. Gabler's stack fell down. It's between Owen and Cassidy with three bowls each left. Owen's stack goes over!

CASSIDY WINS IMMUNITY! None of the guys look happy. And the only one who congratulates her is Owen.

She has indeed done well. They return to camp to find fire making supplies. Owen thinks it will be himself and Jesse at the fire. He thinks Jesse may have it in the bag. But he doesn't want to ever give up. He tells Cassidy he thinks he can win against Jesse in fire. She says she wants someone who can beat Jesse with fire.

Both Jesse and Owen practice fire. Jesse tells Cassidy that she should go against him with fire. She is not receptive! Jesse is choking up as he tells us he won't stop. Gabler tells Cassidy that he thinks he can beat Jesse in fire. He wants to win fire against Jesse for points with the jury. But his body is betraying him. He tells us he intends to donate the entire prize to Veterans in Need if he wins.

They start walking off to Tribal. Both Gabler and Owen want to go against Jesse with fire. Oh my.

Tribal Council - Night 25. The jury seems impressed that Cassidy won the final immunity. Jesse looks miserable. Jesse says his pitch to Cassidy. Both Gabler and Owen say they want to make fire against Jesse. Cassidy says she will do what's best for her own game. Earlier Jeff pointed out that Owen and Cassidy with three Immunity wins each, have won 2/3 of the Immunity Challenges in the game.

Cassidy takes Owen with her. So, fire making for Gabler and Jesse.

GABLER makes the fastest fire ever made in the show. Jesse looks miserable. The jury was rooting for Jesse. That won't bode well for Gabler at the end.

Jesse cries. It's very sad. Gabler tries to comfort him. Jesse says he was playing for his kids, setting an example. He did that and felt he played a great game. Owen is crying. Everyone is a bit teary-eyed. Cassidy makes him laugh when she says she had to have him out or he would have won.

The final three are back at camp. Owen thinks he's the underdog. It sounds like at least some of the jury in confessionals agree and will support him.

They get the feast.

Gabler points out to us that he didn't receive one vote and is the old man of the show. They have some jury members point out his good points to us. And now we have Cassidy telling us why she needs to win and we get jury members pointing out her strengths. Cassidy is the champion, Owen is the underdog and Gabler is the outsider.

They're off to the jury questioning. Jeff pep talks them. Social, physical, strategic focus.

Jesse -- wishes them luck.

Noelle - Gabler differentiate game from others, trust and behind the scenes, had multiple ways to move along in the game. No one has written his name down, hope they will tonight. Cassidy - every vote was the right vote, close bonds with those who mattered, not personal, last woman standing. Owen - Underdog, superfan, scholar of the game, first tribe a disaster, thought he would be first boot, even worse after the merge, had to crawl and scratch himself out of the hole, learned he just needs to be himself.

James -- ACK THAT VOICE. Owen trust in Noelle. Gabler - Elie looked in my bag (Jeanine confesses), stirred pot, voted Elie out, then decided had to change his game.

Karla - Cassidy pre-merge move. Blindside Geo and get tribe in merge.

Jesse - Social relationships in game -- Gabler, hiding underwater - he's making the jury giggle. Cassidy -- in trenches with the right votes, people after her and she got them out.

Jeanine - Gaber and Owen closest alliances. Owen, Noelle then the final four. Gabler - had a few core alliances.

Sami - Gabler, were you going back and forth in alliances? Cassidy wonders if it's because he didn't seem like a threat or real alliances.

Ryan points out that the three won all but two immunities in the game. Noelle credits Cassidy for being a woman and winning so many challenges. Wants to know why Cassidy chose Gabler instead of doing fire against Jesse. Cassidy says that she deserved the immunity, and that Owen wouldn't have that win against Jesse. Owen points out that Karla snagged the advantage from him, and he had to win Immunity at five. He apologizes to James for blowing up at him.

Mistakes? Gabler and Cassidy think of conversations. Owen has many mistakes he made.

Last question -- Jesse how did you persuade people to vote your way? They bring up votes. Jeanine for Gabler, Cassidy the Ryan vote -- Ride or Die claims credit for that. Owen, no specific vote, no idols, no advantages. He showed he could be a key part rather than the actor.

Time to vote for a winner. James votes Cassidy. Karla votes Gabler. No other votes are shown.

Reads the votes right now in Fiji.

Cassidy, Gabler, Gabler, Gabler, Gabler, Gabler.

GABLER WINS! All the rest of the votes were for him! They celebrate right there with champagne and pizza! Congratulations blog pool winners Donna in FL and Joanne Victoria!

The jury tells Jeff the jury question answers gave Gabler the win.

Now he says he's the second player over 50 to win. He will make history another way. He says that he's donating the whole prize in his father's name to Veterans in Need. More tears. Gabler says they ALL are a part of the donation. Ryan, with a military dad, is really touched.

Gabler has proved he is the MAN of the Season!

Survivor 44 sneak peek ... you have to want it, you have to be fearless. NFL player. Rocket scientist. And more. Uh-oh ... medic call! It looks good. The premiere is March 4.

Big Brother: BB24 Live Season Finale Show Blog Party

The Final Three bid us adieu on the live feeds.

Well, this is it. I believe we have a final three no one would have predicted -- Turner, Taylor and Monte. At least no one floated to the finish this season! All three have won at least a couple of big comps.

Tonight's taped segments should include the finish of the hot dog clutching Part One of the HOH comp, the second part of the three-part HOH comp and the Round Table. Although the winners of Part One and Part Two are known by feeds watchers, I ask people not to mention them in the comments until they air on the show.

Live on the show will be Part Three of the HOH comp which will be the winners of Part One and Part Two competing. The winner of that part then will decide the last eviction and we will be at the final two. Then there are the jury questions, and some choose me speeches. And THEN, we will have a winner of the $750,000. After the winner is crowned, we will have the Favorite Houseguest announcement.

The Esteemed Lifeguard SueGee has updated the blog pool and here are our final three:

Monte    - Sally, Willie J, Rodney
Taylor    - CherylNY, Donna in AL, Cherry Pie
Turner (Matt)- Bizaro22, Glenn Allen, Jasonuwp

Jury
Indy
Joseph
Jasmine
Kyle
Terrance
Michael
Alyssa
Brittany

I will be live-blogging, updating this post constantly as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news. Asa always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Hamster watchers ready? Got your snacks and adult beverages? Let's get this finale ON!

Julie is wearing a simple red dress tonight. Previously on and on. We know this stuff. Bring on the hot dogs! Weinerpalooza!

82 days ... a rather short season, but this past week lasted at least two weeks for me!

Ah, finally Day 79 and the hot dogs! Monte's arms actually fit around his hot dog to the slot on the far side. The other two have to use the hand grips. Turner tells us he gets dizzy easy. Taylor is down at 36 minutes. Monte out at 46.04 minutes.

TURNER wins Part One of the final HOH comp! Julie promises us Dr. Will and the Roundtable.

Part Two - Zipline Veto Stage/HOH Stage. Fill in the comps in the proper order on both billboards. Festival Line Up. They can only take two "signs" across with the zipline each time. Taylor is up first. She got the order right the first time but this is a timed event, too.

Monte's turn. He gets them right the first try, too. Who was the fastest?

Taylor - 7.04, Monte - 6.41

MONTE wins Part Two and will go up against Turner in Part Three.

Turner thinks it's a good thing. In week two, he and Monte made a final two pact. Turner tells him he will take him if he wins. Monte thinks the decision is tough and he would have a better shot at winning against Taylor.

The Round Table -- The jury thinks the smart move would be for Monte to join them, but it is indeed Brttany as they thought it would be. They talk about Turner playing a good game. Michael thinks that Monte is the one who got him out and Turner doesn't own up to things. He is quite anti-Turner. Alyssa and Terrance speak up for him.

Joseph thinks Taylor plays with strategy as opposed to Turner. Jasmine says Taylor's big move was making through being on the block five times. Will wants to know what she did strategically. Kyle says relationships. Michael says she got others to put up her enemies.

Monte -- only on the block once as a pawn. Michael seems quite pro-Monte. Indy says he was one of her closest friends in the house. Brittany thinks he's getting sloppy socially. Terrance thinks he never really connected with him.

Dr. Will is looking so grey. I feel so old.

Time for Part Three of the HOH Comp! Monte and Turner have a divider between them. Jury Fest. How well do you know the jurors. Jury fest video, three statements about the juror. Which statement is false. Eight videos.

1. Indy's Psychic Booth - Both right.
2. Jasmine's Muffin Truck - Both right.
3. Joseph is a security guard - Both right
4. Kyle's Dance Party - Both right.
5. Terrance's Tattoos - Both right.
6. Michael's Carnival Games - Monte right
7. Alyssa's Info Booth - Both wrong
8. Brittany's Meditation Station - Monte right

MONTE wins the Final HOH!
To the living room --

Turner - Final two, loyalty, love you, your decision

Taylor - World and moon if you take me to final two. Easy win for you to take me.

Monte chooses to evict ... TURNER. He goes out graciously. He tells Julie he is shocked, not mad. He would have taken Monte to the final two. He is very good with Julie.

Jury question time! Turner joins them. Michael and Terrance correctly guessed it would be him. Three total questions for each finalist.

Kyle - Monte - other than using Michael veto, what was your pivotal move to final two? He says evicting Turner.

Michael - Taylor - You were big target, did you adapt your game to get this far? Being who I am and played how I wanted to.

Joseph - Monte - Biggest blunder? Didn't stay true to himself in protecting Michael and Brittany.

Jasmine - Taylor - Move you orchestrated? Alliance with Michael/Brittany, joined Leftovers, protected girls the best she could.

Brittany - Monte - Where did you take a risk in the game? Make sure Nichole and Daniel didn't use veto and risked being evicted the next week.

Indy - Taylor - On the block weak game play? Resilient, blockbuster.

Turner - Monte - Biggest move was breaking our final two. Why should you get my vote? Heard you and Kyle had a final two after Dyre Fest.

The speeches --

Monte - Beautiful members of the jury. Played a strong competitive game, lists his wins and alliances. No false promises. Only touched the block twice, only one time on eviction night. Instrumental in getting two top competitors out -- Michael and Turner.

Taylor -  Likes Monte's speech. Won three comps, two of them HOHs. Sat on the block six times on eviction night. Continued to fight as a woman does. Called names, attempted all white alliance formed. I am not a shield, I am a thorn. Resiliency! Challenging you what kind of winner you want this year!

Time to vote:
Indy - One of my favorite people
Jasmine - Voting for person carrying on what I should have
Joseph - Love you both, voting for the sword of the season
Kyle - Both deserving, voting to rep the season.
Terrance - Love you both
Michael - Strongest player
Alyssa - Take our power back
Brittany - Love you both
Turner - Just made up my mind

Time for the early non-jury evictees to show up Joseph was asked about Dyre Fest, says he did everything he could to protect Taylor and Brittany. Onto profession lies. Michael is a criminal defense attorney. Joseph admits he's the second lawyer. Ameerah talks of the Monte/Taylor showmance. Taylor says he's a close friend. Monte agrees and pleads the fifth. Alyssa and Kyle ... he hopes it will work out. Pooch - you volunteered to go home, Pooch yourself new BB lingo.

Who ate Jasmine's muffin? Turner 'fesses up and says he ate it in the Diary Room.

Time to reveal the votes:

Turner - Monte
Brittany - Taylor
Alyssa - Taylor
Michael - Taylor
Terrance - Taylor
Kyle - Taylor ...

TAYLOR WINS bb24!

Joseph, Jasmine and Indy all voted for Taylor.

Top Three Favorite HG - Michael, Taylor and Kyle.
TAYLOR also wins that!

Congratulations blog pool winners! CherylNY, Donna in AL, Cherry Pie!

Celebrity BB3: Season Finale Blog Party

Miesha
Todrick
Cynthia

Good evening! Here we are ... the season finale after several years, er, days in the house of "celebrities" most of whom might be considered that in very limited arenas. The final three aren't quite what I expected at the beginning. But, two out of the three don't surprise me at all now at the end of the season.

I haven't reported on the live feeds because it's been Todrick non-stop talking about himself and shuffling cards. There have been no spoilers coming from within the house.

On the other hand ... unlike regular BB which has its jurors sequestered and even monitored to quell discussions of the hamsters, CBB lets them out into the world. And, to social media. LOTS of stuff has gone down on Twitter.

Lifeguard SueGee has updated the blog pool for the final time and here's where we stand:

Cynthia Bailey: Indiana Jane, Glenn Allen
Todrick Hall: Chrob61, Monty 924
Miesha Tate: David, Sharon N.

Evicted
Teddi Mellencamp
Mirai Nagasu
Chris Kattan (self-evicted)
Chris Kirkpatrick
Shanna Moakley
Carson Kressley
Lamar Odum
Todd Bridges

I will be live-blogging the show, regularly updating this entry with the major happenings as they air here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Are you ready?

Julie is dressed in a dress with a diagonal hem. Okay. Previously on is on ...

Into after Todd was evicted. Miesha thinks it will be Todrick and herself in the final two. Todrick confesses to Cynthia that he's BB superfan. That's actually the only reason I "knew" Todrick -- not as a celebrity, but as the guy who invited BB23 hamsters to his house. It was all over Twitter.

Todrick works on Cynthia to take him to the final two if that needs to happen.

The HOH screen shot has them in booths in a snowy scene.

Shout Out - 7 short videos former HG - three statements, one false.

1. Cynthia, Miesha each 1 point.
2. Miesha 1 point
3. Todrick, Miesha each 1 point
4. None got it
5. All wrong
6. All wrong again

No need to go on as no one can win except Miesha. Miesha is the final HOH!

To the living room and Miesha's decision.

Cynthia - Ride amazing, already feel like I won. Played with loyalty, proud of you both.

Todrick - Time of my life with you as my ride or die. You're incredible. Etc.

Miesha evicts Cynthia, no surprise there.

Text 21523 America Votes in case of a tie breaker starting now. Either Miesha or Todrick.

To the jury -- Carson apologizes to Shanna. Cynthia comes out as Juror 08.

To the final two and why they should win.

Miesha - Didn't prepare a lot. Planned to beast competitions. Wanted to play with integrity. Thank you.

Todrick - Game plan was to lay low. Blood on his hands each week. Cookout inspired him. Love the game. Not based on how many comps you win. Never on the block. Want to make art for my community.

The voting --

Teddi - Wizard of Oz, we can see behind the curtain
Mirai - Appreciation for competition winning
Chris - Integrity for my son
Shanna - Will never have to hear your voice again
Carson - The one who worked it harder
Lamar - Got a tattoo, going with the person who resembles that mentality
Todd - Refers to the live feeds and talking trash about people who were gone.
Cynthia - Vote for the person who helped me navigate how the show works.

Chris Kattan arrives but did not vote.

The votes -

Cynthia - Todrick
Todd - Miesha
Lamar - Miesha
Carson - Miesha
Shanna - Miesha
Chris - Miesha

MEISHA WINS! The unread votes were also for Miesha.

America's Favorite - top three were Lamar, Carson and Shanna. CARSON wins!

Congratulations blog pool winners David and Sharon N!
