Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Rapscallion Rodents:
- As per the bulletin I posted last night you already know that Caleb and Jocasta remain on the block, Derrick remains the sole HoH and Nicole (the ousted HoH) has to wear a frog costume. Donny and Amber are off the block and safe. So far, the backdoor plan seems to be working through its first step. Oh, yeah. It's the Backdoor Devin Plan.
- Derrick told Caleb NOT to go around telling people he threw the comp.
- So, Caleb has insinuated it a few times.
- @@
- Silly boy. What he doesn't realize is that, if the Backdoor Devin Plan falls through, he's (Caleb) going home.
- He thinks it would be Jocasta leaving.
- Silly boy.
- Derrick told Cody that if he draws Houseguest's Choice for the PoV, he's going to pick him.
- No surprises there.
- On a bit of a side note -- I'm getting to like Hayden more and more each day. I find that surprising as he's a recruit who's not a real fan of the show. But he's coming across as a really nice guy and definitely not as goofy as portrayed. He's quite smart and good with people.
- Back to the regularly scheduled house happenings ...
- It seems like there's a lot of trust issues going on in the house.
- Alas, many have to do with Donny.
- Oh noes!
- Derrick doesn't really trust him (outside of the Team America thing). Brittany doesn't trust him. Frankie is worried about him.
- Then again, few really trust Frankie these days. They're onto him.
- Derick says that Caleb didn't throw the comp.
- Yeah, right.
- Derrick thinks it should be Caleb coming off the block with the PoV just in case the house flips.
- But I can't see them NOT evicting Devin if they can get him up there with no comp to save himself.
- If it's Jocasta and Caleb remaining on the block Thursday, it's Caleb who will be evicted.
- Uh-oh. I'm repeating myself. It's because they keep repeating themselves! Oy!
- Derrick is playing head games trying to figure people out.
- Nicole told him that Brittany does trust him. So he goes to Brittany and told her that Nicole told him she doesn't trust him.
- Whether for reaction purposes or to see if she runs to Nicole, I don't know.
- She knew he was lying and told Nicole.
- Victoria thinks Donny is going around lying about her being in an alliance.
- Oh, no! It's a SPOOL OF LIES! (Re: Howie BB6)
- Supposedly Jocasta, Brittany and Frankie have medical issues which preclude them from being good candidates to be chosen for Have Nots (if they pick again).
- Hey, I know that with the old Bomb Squad rules, it would be Devin and Caleb volunteering this week!
- Victoria thinks the Diary Room loves her. @@
- Cody and Zach want to make a final four deal with Christine and Nicole.
- Hey! What about their buddy Derrick? Or Hayden? Christine and Nicole are both in with Hayden!
- Frankie thinks that Devin is in some sort of weird make peace with the world before I die kind of phase.
- Yep, that would describe it.
- Devin still calls everybody, male or female, "dude." He needs to stop that. it's annoying. I know someone who calls every guy "brother." I find that annoying, too. People have names. Call them by name or don't call them anything. Cousin bugs me, too. I'm weird that way, I guess.
- Brittany went to Cody and told him that someone is spreading rumors that Derrick wants to put her on the block.
- She's worried that Caleb is trying to convince him to put her up in his place.
- Nicole is worried that America will hate her for putting Donny on the block.
- Yup, I've been seeing some reaction to that point. However, I knew the plan would be all along that he's safe.
- I still like Nicole. I doubt she'll win. But I do like her anyways.
- Cody thinks Amber is flirting with him for her own game purposes.
- Y'think?
- Team America decided they would spread the rumor that Zach is Amanda's cousin and it's another twist in the game.
- Lame, I say.
- But I'm all aboard for them earning five grand each for succeeding. They have to get three people to tell others and it works on a point basis for each one who spreads the rumor.
- Yawn.
- Eek! They heard gunshots in the distance while in the yard, a police helicopter, police PA calls ... and then BB demanded an indoor lockdown.
- Cody and Derrick talked about how Brittany shows up everywhere. Is she playing an Andy game?
- Derrick, most likely for the purpose of his own game, would prefer Caleb stay this week. He really wants Devin out, but now is worried about the ramifications if Caleb goes as a second choice.
- Derrick thinks Donny grew his beard just for BB. Although fish cut the feeds when he was talking about it, Donny didn't have the long beard when he saw him at the airport for interviews. I'd say he had to have some kind of beard even if it was early in the casting process. You can't grow that thing in a month!
- If Devin wins PoV, Cody and Derrick are thinking of putting Victoria on the block. Brittany's name was also tossed around a bit.
- Derrick was talking about his "past" with Frankie. He pretty much said that BB probably chose him because he made bad choices as a youth, in trouble with the law and straightened his life out with his wife and baby ... and the job in parks and recreation. He went on about all of his duties in the parks and rec job. Then he said, "I'm an undercover detective."
- Heh.
- Frankie bought the whole park and recs thing, the juvenile delinquent stuff, hook, line and sinker.
- Frankie told Derrick he's actually playing to build schools for underprivileged kids, but not to tell anyone.
- I don't think Derrick quite bought that story as well.
- Cody's psoriasis is acting up. Oh, the heartbreak!
- That's about it.
- For now.
Victoria is in with Derrick |
Is it that cold in there? |
Happy to be OFF the block again! |
Finally took off the stupid fake glasses |

Jackie I am with you about people calling everyone dude. You would go crazy down here, everybody calls everybody else Baby. It makes my husband so mad. I have had people 20 years younger than me call me baby and people 20 years older than me (yes there a few people that much older than me)call me baby. This is not a once in awhile thing it happens on a daily basis.
Lynn1-
as soon as I read your comment all I could think was the Dots Diner commercial on the radio.
I work in customer service and can't stand when a customer calls me baby, sweetheart or anything like that.
These people don't know me.
On a game note, I am still undecided on this entire cast.
I like some of them but don't have a clear cut favorite yet and we are in the third week. I usually can pick a favorite in interviews.
I think they are all a little off their rockers.
I also can't stand how these hamsters tried out for other shows and get on this one.
If you don't know the game you shouldn't be on.
I personally think that a season with all TRUE superfans would be fun.
I am also ready for the two HOH to end.
Agree with ChaCha. What an odd bunch. One of the pool faves, Derrick, has gone bad, IMO. What is it about that HOH room that causes run-off-at-the-mouth disease??? I am off the Derrick fan-wagon.
I still love Donny, tho. And Zach, for some reason.
Re: pet names. I've been called pet names my entire life, and it still doesn't bother me. I use them, and I am called them. (I don't say Dude, tho, unless as a joke).
My words are angel, sweetie, girlie, bestfriend (all one word)... And I get called all of those in return, by my patients & friends alike.
Meh, it never bothers me.
I like it that they are all basically nice, likable people. It makes the game much more psychologically interesting, in sort of a "Lord of the Flies" way.
If they're all a bunch of obvious psychos to begin with, it's just annoying, you know they're going to pick stupid fights, and there's no one worth rooting for (like, say, last year's cast). I'd rather see the conflicts grow out of their isolation and stress, instead of anger management issues they brought into the house with them. JM2C.
Having Devin and Caleb remain in the house keeps up all the drama but I am over them. Devin is off his rocker and Caleb rarely smiles. Zach might not be great at the game but he is fun to watch and just looking at him makes me laugh. Thats a good thing. Cody too. Watch out for Britney....she is nobodys fool.
Gia
good assessment, Gia. I agree re Zach & Brit. Interesting to note that Brit was recruited only 2 wks prior to entering the house...
At this point, I like Nicole and Hayden. Donny is ok, but I can't seem to care much about him one way or the other.
Still like Derrick, but he's developing HOHitis. That power seems to hit almost everyone and turns them into temporary idiots.
There are a few others that I don't dislike.
Devin & Caleb aren't on that list.
Neither is Victoria... she's annoying.
Frankie is a fun sort of guy, but I got over his silliness after about the 2nd week.
Well, you know how it goes with the best laid plans...
Devin got picked to play in POV. :(
Devin is still the underdog to win. POV comp going on now
egad Devin in POV.....I truly hope he bungles it, or someone helps him bungle it!!
whatever it is!!
Donny WON VETO
Woohoo
Donny wins VETO! Plans to take off Jacosta. Yippee!
YAY Good work Donny!!!!
Thank God, and he's saying he's using Veto on Jo. :)
Good idea for Devin to start packing... now. At this point, it would be a miracle for him to be saved.
Go DONNY! Can't wait to see what the comp was that he beat out Devin!
I have a feeling it won't be Devin walking out the door on Thursday. It could very well be my pool boy, Caleb. His ego writes checks he can't cash. js
Meb, it was a mental kind of comp where they had to challenge another player. They lose, they're out. It involved some kind of cube that they had to turn in order and it came down to Donny and Devin at the end and he smoked him. :))))
Since he is going to take Jocasta off that will be Caleb and Devin on the block at same time. If they could only vote out both that would be great. But I can see where Caleb could go home if Devin gets off his butt and works it.
And where are all the frog jokes? That group is tighter than a frogs butt.
Feeds have been down again for around 30 minutes. Probably picking the Have Nots and getting their alternate food.
If I were HOH I'd try to get get rid of Caleb now while I had the chance.
Devin would still be easy to pick off since everyone would still hate him and no one would trust him again.
The alternate food or extra food is Offal Burritos this week. YUCK!
I agree Uncartie and Caleb is my pool boy. I think I may be a free agent in the pool come Thursday.
I had to look up what the heck offal is. Baiscally internal organs. Yuck.
Why did the frog cross the road? To see where the chicken went.
Sorry, no I was wrong on the order. Christine challenged Devin and lost, Derrick challenged Devin and lost, Donny challenged Devin and won. Caleb and Donny in the last and Donny won.
If Caleb does get the boot, it will certainly verify that old motto "never volunteer."
Caleb, Devin, Amber and Hayden are Have Nots. Derrick thought they all volunteered but Devin's saying he didn't. May change now. Derrick is asking in the DR.
geez, where is Derrick's head? I hope he doesn't get the Have Nots changed for Devin's benefit.
Devin SHOULD be a Have Not. Give him a dose of his own medicine. Plus, if he doesn't get evicted, maybe make him weaker for the next comp so he might lose.
Thanks Monty... so proud of Donny. I really can't wait to see the comp now...
I know he's probably not going to be there in the end, but I'm sure enjoying him while he's there.
Derrick will NOT campaign for Devin to stay. They still want him out. Biggest reason is that Caleb for all his ego talk, hasn't won anything since he won the first HOH. Devin has and was close to winning this won. He and Nicole both want him out of the house.
Now if Caleb can just keep his mouth shut the rest of the week. Here's hoping. ;-)
