All asleep as I post this |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Let's Wait Until October for a Big Move:
- James practiced his veto speech (in which he saves himself).
- Meg is hoping that the upcoming HoH comp won't be physical so she can wear nice clothes for her eviction.
- Oh, this doesn't mean they've given up trying to grasp straws so that she can stay!
- It just means that they realize that it's probably going to take a miracle that Meg will make it through the week.
- No one is thinking that Thursday is a double eviction. They all think that will come about next week.
- Austin is leery of Johnny Mac.
- As he should be.
- Julia is still not keen on the idea of going up as a pawn against Meg.
- Austin told Meg that he's trying to get Vanessa to put Johnny Mac up on the block as the re-nom. He claims that John would go home over her.
- Well, yeah.
- But he's been trying to get Johnny Mac on the block all along. The Austwins wanted Vanessa to nominate Steve and Johnny Mac.
- But we know why that's not something Vanessa would even consider right now. She wants to work with Steve and Johnny Mac so THEY can break up the Austwins and she remains smelling like a rose.
- Meg and James came up with a convoluted proposal to try to save Meg -- if James wins HoH, he would put Meg up on the block with one of his targets in lieu of Vanessa, no front door or backdoor for Vanessa.
- Of course, James isn't into backdoors anyway.
- Meg went to Vanessa with the proposal and said James wouldn't only be making a promise to Vanessa, he'd be promising her (Meg). So, he would indeed do it.
- It would buy her another week.
- Vanessa listened and told Meg that she wants to talk to James in the morning before the veto meeting.
- Austin really really REALLY sucked up to James, throwing everything on Vanessa.
- Well, it was Vanessa's doing. But only Steve and Johnny Mac know the real scoop on things.
- Of course, Austin ran and reported to Vanessa every bit of everything James said -- but didn't mention he (Austin) threw Vanessa under the bus to James and Meg.
- Despite everything, I still think Julia will go up on the block with Meg and Meg will go home.
- But the double eviction might be interesting!

It would be great if Julia went home but I still think the mean twin should go!

I think this would be a perfect opportunity to break up that threesome. Steve and JM are crazy if they don't vote to evict Julia. I don't understand why Vanessa doesn't see this. After all, she could report back to Austin and Liz that she had nothing to do with it and lay all the blame on Steve and JM. I think everyone would team up to get Austin and Liz out. That virtually guarantees Vanessa the win. She's not my favorite, but she is deserving of the win because she has played the best game. I just worry she may be in a "Russell Hantz" situation-- she deserves the win, but socially she could have treated people better.
Anon 10:40AM, Getting Meg out is the right call for Vanessa. She and James are her biggest enemies right now. It weakens James. If Julia was evicted her relationship with Aust/Liz would suffer and her 2 biggest enemies would still be in the house. Yeah, she could try and lay blame on Steve & Jmac but at the end of the day she's the one who decided to put Julia up.
I know that Meg is James's only friend in the house but why is she worrying about staying another week. James should be concentrating on getting into an alliance with Steve and JMac, well maybe not Steve he is too unstable. Meg has done absolutely nothing from day one, she will never win a comp HOH or POV, haven't even been close so stay another week for what, she is one vote, she couldn't save James at this point under any stretch of the imagination, as for Vanessa I could care less about her reputation being seen as another Russell Hantz, I can see a person being shrewd but still being kind. In life you reap what you sow.
POV meeting over. James off, Julia apparently is OTB with Meg.
Anon,
It's always that way. They all say they want to stay. It's always "just one more week, please." Like that 1 week will make any difference in the realm of things.
Well, I guess it could if they actually made it to F2, but....
So far it is an all female jury (Shelli, Jackie, Becky) and it will continue with the next eviction (Meg, Julia).
If a guy(s) makes F2 hope he made nice to all these girls! If its a girl(s) F2......claws may come out .....meow!!!
BREAKING NEWS!!!!
Austin has owned that #17 spot in popularity for WEEKS, but he's moved now! Way up to #16.
Meanwhile: Liz, the love of his life @@ has taken over the #17 slot (the "yes" did it?).
Bring out the banners, flags and confetti?
Vanessa is getting her exercise... jogging between #13 and 14, and Julia has been fairly entrenched at #15 for over a week.
Remaining at the top for over 30 days... Drum Roll please.... JAMES!
Julia on the block means all game talk with Vanessa is null and void as far as James is concerned. Now that Vanessa is out of the picture James and Meg should be concentrating on JMac, Steve, and possibly even Austin to vote out Julia instead of Meg. I wish James knew how close Steve and JMac are then he could get JMac to work on Steve from a game point of view the need to get rid of Julia. The last person in Steve's ear before the vote Thursday probably gets his vote.
LOL Sharon. =) I think the only other time when Austin moved up to 16 from last place was when Clay took over the last spot. I would have to go back and look but it has been that long ago.
Thanks Sharon! I hate that Aus is no longer the bottom-o-the-barrel king, but glad that at least one of the Gruesome Twosome is holding that spot.
Last night, they were wondering about popularity. They think Steve & Shelli are near the top. And I think Aus truly believes he & Skiz are the America's Sweethearts. Bwhahaha
PS - Aushole claims to be a professional gymnast, but all he can do are sommersaults. He can't even walk on his hands or even hold a handstand for more than 3 seconds. Even CALEB was a better gymnast: he did standing back-flips, back & front handsprings and ground springs.
Aushole tried a groundspring, but he FELL!!! Then he told production to stop filming his "gymNOTstics", HAHAHAHAHA
David, it was Day 37 that Austin went slip-sliding into that 'special' spot, and the chart shows it's now Day 77, so he is a king... King of Bottom Feeders!
Never fear Petals, he'll sink again, back down to rock bottom. LOL
HaHaHa..Telling production to stop filming probably just insured they will now use his fall on a show.
One can hope uncartie, one can hope! LOL
How can so many HGs be so delusional about their portrayal? Seriously, I'm not trying to be mean, really.
Like, I'm really surprised that Steve thinks he will win America's Fave. How can he believe that? He's done nothing at all endearing, he's behaved like a sycophant toward Vanimal, and been a pretentious ass to the others. Not at ALL like Donny.
Meanwhile, in Sleazeville, Aushole & Liz are certain that they're the next Brenchal, Haycole or JeJo. Really? There hasn't been a more skeeve-worthy fauxmance since Boogie & Erica.
I ♥ you guys! ☺
♥ you back Petals!
Every year, I look forward to your remarks and the creative nicknames you'll lay on 'em.
Dare I get excited that Julia could actually go and shake things up a bit? I think JMac could be convinced, but don't think Steve would do it without Vans blessing. And I think she'd be hesitant given how deep and for how long she's been in with the Austwins, and how aware she remains of jury votes. Jury wise could be a wash; gain a few for making the first hit at the trio, but lose the Austwins themselves since she is who put Julia OTB in the first pace, even if she doesn't have a vote. This DE makes me very nervous too, esp after the last one.
One wildcard in the voting is that they will be told its a double evicion week before they cast their ballots. Steve and JMac might vote Julia out. they might think they can get another of that group out without having to spend as much time with the fallout.
Steve has a crush on Julia so that will be a hard vote to get even with Vanessa's blessing. I was thinking James and Meg could try to get Austin to vote out Julia. They could tell him that he could blame it on Steve, he must have flipped, and take some of the heat off him and Liz. As a big 3 in the game they are now the prime target for everyone and better to cut the dead wood off now and put the target on Steve, JMac, James, Meg, and Vanessa.
JMac I think would be an easy vote to get, James/Meg just need that third vote. Steve or Austin is all they need. JMac work on Steve and James work on Austin is what they should be doing after having a talk with JMac.
Agirlsmom, the only hope for Julia to be evicted is IF Vanessa gets twisted around over leaving the AusTwins pack of 3 together. She would have to ask JMac to vote Julia out because Steve wouldn't do it... he apparently has a crush on Julia.
Unless something drastic happens, Meg will go. Of course, Aushole would prefer JMac up and out. He's not aware of the Steve/JMac/Vanessa alliance. I get the impression he wouldn't mind having his romance-nemesis, Julia, voted out soon, but not while he still needs (what he thinks is) his power-3.
The big ol' juicy fly in their collective ointment just might be JAMES. :)
Yeah, I can't see JMac or Steve changing their minds unless Vanessa convinces them that it is a good thing. Beyond that, I don't even think that the DE announcement will change Steve's mind. Sigh!!
And Petals, I love the Boogie Erica comparison even though Liz is my pool pick, LOL
I'm not sure why Vanessa wouldn't want to engineer an accidental (oops!) eviction of Julia. If she truly controls Steve and JMac...and she might...she's got a threesome against 2 twosomes. And, frankly, it's a competitively weak group. I mean, if the idea is to try and flip James after a Meg ouster, it would seem more likely to flip Meg AND James after a Julia ouster. And even if you can't, it's still two twosomes and three singles. That's gotta bet better than a threesome against 4 singles with the low numbers.
I betcha that - before tomorrow - a plan is hatched to evict Julia. And yes, Vananas will be "shocked". *fingers crossed*
That's a good thought Joe. I can't imagine why she's leaving the AusTwins together.
If Julia went, there would only be one Power-3...Vanessa's.
It would suddenly be the AusLiz-2.
James will be alone, but James may think he can suck JMac over to his side.
With Meg gone, Vanessa may try to bring James into her power group. Good luck with that.
He might say ok, but she has to know he feels ZERO loyalty to her.
Correction: James will be alone if Meg goes.
Clarifying, but I'm sure you all knew what I meant. :)
There's an old saying "strike while the iron's hot". This might be a good time to break up the Austwins.
Petals I so agree with your 'skeeve-worthy fauxmance' description of Austskiz. I just can't watch them, I don't know what it is exactly but I find them totally disgusting!
& OT just watched Ladies tennis opening match between Vandeweghe & Stephens. I like what I saw of Coco she could be my unseeded 'dark horse' pick!
Austin isn't smart enough to put two and two together regarding Vanessa and JMac. He bought her reason for not putting JMac up as she wanted Meg out and JMac was too risky. He ought to think about that one long and hard because Vanessa and JMac will be the demise of the Austwins.
I agree Monty. Van's alliance with Jmac just might get her to the end. Oh,and btw, your knowledge of BB is simply incredible. I thought it was amazing that you remembered a comp from Season 8. Me? I A week after the show ends I"d be lucky if I could remember 3 or 4 cast members, let alone comps.
Those who think it's a good idea for Van to break up the Austwins now? It's not,IMO. Even though Van is 4th on their totem pole, keeping all 3 in for another week
ensures her safety should one of them win HOH. Remember,Van can't play for HOH so having the most hamsters still in the game that will keep her safe is paramount.
I have a lot of room in my brain for useless knowledge but can't remember what I walked into the kitchen to get, LOL.
Meg is telling James to stay with Austin and stay away from Vanessa, so the hope of him working with Vanessa down the line is looking slim.
If Julia stays and either Liz/Austin or Julia win HOH, they can send home anyone they want to. Only four voting and the HOH breaks the tie. That will be for certain trouble for Steve and JMac.
Agree uncartie, I saw Amanda on the show recently and was like "oh yeah, I remember .... heeerrrrr...." And seeing Derrick again, but I can't remember the other guys name. I would be horrible on this show. Wellllll, maybe not Meg horrible, but close.
Meg is wrong on that one, James needs to team up with JMac and by extension Steve. Vanessa has poisoned the well with the twins as far as James is concerned. She has lied to them about James coming after them multiple times. Plus if he can get in with JMac and Steve now they may be able to save Meg. A long shot but better chance than with the Austwins.
If indeed she saves the 3 group this week I hope they put her up and out. Thinking will change when they know the Double eviction is this week, not next. Vanessa will be scrambling as soon as Julie announces it. Cornering Steve first most likely. The last in his ear usually gets their way and she knows this.
Meg isn't the best BB player, David. :))
