Girls from the block |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Whispers Abound:
- Steve went to talk to Vanessa and Shelli. He apologized for it taking so long.
- We know that he would probably prefer to put off a talk forever!
- Vanessa grilled him about what was being said about her.
- Shelli finally said something about how she (Vanessa) turned on people.
- Vanessa vehemently, I say VEHEMENTLY, denied she ever turned on anyone.
- Shelli brought up the Austin thing.
- "I never turned on Austin, the twins or Steve!"
- Gah. I guess if you lie to yourself enough you might just believe the lies are the truth.
- Vanessa continued to defend herself saying that Becky was fine with blindsliding Austin.
- Steve suggested that, after things calm down, she might want to go talk to Jackie.
- Vanessa has no desire to get a "verbal smackdown" from Becky again.
- Heh. That was no smackdown. It was whatever and walk away down.
- Like a broken record, Vanessa went on about Becky being a flip-flopper, a hypocrite and such.
- Yawn.
- Again, she pressed Shelli to find out if she (Shelli) knew the blindside was coming. Shelli denied it.
- But we know she did.
- Meanwhile in the house, Shelli has been going around taking clothes James supposedly appropriated from Clay and James is going around saying his clothes are going missing.
- Vanessa told Julia that she has a plan, not to count her out yet.
- Hmm.
- A lot of talk about "If I win HoH, I'll put up ..."
- Of course, most of the talk is coming from people who haven't won anything.
- Liz thinks James is trying to get close to Steve.
- Well, unbeknownst to them, Becky advised Steve to get together more with James, Jackie and Meg. She said that they would trust him more if he talked more with them.
- James and Liz tag-teamed to scare Julia in quick succession.
- It worked.
- EEK!
- EEK!
- Then James hid in her bed and scared her again.
- Oh, those rascally hamsters!
- Uh-oh. Becky may stick to her guns, but what about her people?
- James, Meg and Jackie think it might be best to get Shelli out instead of Vanessa.
- Yipes. That throws a monkey wrench into the works.
- Jackie thinks that if they don't get rid of Shelli now, she stands a good chance of winning HoH in a double eviction.
- Shelli has done better than Vanessa in comps.
- They could be right.
- Maybe.
- Maybe not.

I can't wait for Vanessa's hat to go! It should be evicted a million times!
Vanessa hat will not be missed.
Having James, Jackie and Meg realize that Shelli needs to go is good for them. James probably thinks this will keep him tight with Austin.
Shelli really does need to go....
Vanessa may live to see another day after all.
Looks like my threat to stop watching worked. :)
The HOH comp is sure to be a Q & A due to time constraints. How sweet would it be for Vanessa to win and send Becky packing.
These people just don't know how to play the game, they can get Vanessa out anytime, James knows that Shelli will be gunning for him, why on earth would he ever agree to get rid of Vanessa first. Steve is going to vote with the house regardless because he doesn't belong in an alliance with anyone and that's what he's been doing all along, I do believe Becky might have a secret alliance with Shelli, why keep the best comp player in the game, remember when she went as fast as she could to tell Clelli that James was going to put hem up. I guess you have to trust someone but it she wouldn't be Shelli, Vanessa lying? yep, but so is most of the people in the house, they could also get rid of JMac what is he good for,and then the rest will fall into place.
They need to keep V. Becky was rarly seen until Jeff less then she started talking.
If she will stop crying!
uncartie- I remember the comp from the last DE, it was them chasing and looking for keys in a big box full of toy balls, then come back and hit the buzzer. I think Shelli would have a slight advantage over Vanessa on that comp if it were to take place.
Becky does have a loose agreement with Shelli, John, and Steve. What Becky doesn't realize is that Shelli is more loyal to Austin and the twins as was evident on the feeds yesterday.
If Shelli was smart she would have tried to get in with the "goblins" more this week which she isn't doing.
Shelli knows James is gunning for her and James knows Shelli is gunning for him.
Becky will be none to happy that they want Shelli out although James said Becky told them to vote how they want. The problem is they want Shelli out more and the info about the "generals" alliance holds water for James.
James may seem "dumb" but he isn't.
chrob61-
That will be the POV for DE I believe.
Last years DE
HOH was a math comp of more than or less than
POV was find three rubber ducks-
The HOH in my opinion if the same can be anyones game but Vanessa and Shelli could both do well.
POV is who gets it fastest.
I am sure the comps will not be exactly the same but BB has been known to repeat comps.
chrob61,Chacha is right. The first HOH has to be some sort of Q&A scenario because of time constraints.
Does anyone know how the decision to keep Vanessa originated? It seems like it came out of nowhere. Grodner's elves perhaps?
uncartie-
James made the comment yesterday- Becky said to vote how we wanted while they were in the HN room. Meg agreed and then Jackie got on board.
I will say Jackie is a little resistant as she is the closest to Becky.
uncartie- they also said they were going to talk to becky about it today.
OK I stand corrected, the balls/key/buzzer was the POV.
I was just putting out there how the DE went. It has been many variations.
I couldnt' exactly remember.
It has been before and after for HOH in the past as well.
So does the two nominees get to play for HOH, how does that make sense, I thought someone is evicted and then they have the next HOH comp am I wrong.
Please send SHELLI home so she can get in touch with Clay, because she just can't go into" that Jury house without him", I'm not sure what she's thinking but unless she in the final two, she will be going into that jury house, unless she goes AWOL or something.
Anon,
I think this series of events is correct:
One of the noms will be evicted, thus completing last week's HOH/POV.
Since other nom is 'safe' and off the block, they are allowed to play in the next HOH.
Then comes anther POV, comp and eviction.
The HN crew is starting to flip the script on Becky.. hoping to get out Shelli first, then Vanessa. We shall see...
All depends on who wins HOH, who they put OTB, and then who wins the POV.
You are right Sharon. The only thing I would add is Becky can not play in the first HoH just as a normal week as outgoing HoH. She can play in the Veto if picked or one of the nominated. If she is still there she can play in the second HoH that will most likely start at the end of the show. They have done both, an endurance and a Q&A type in the past so we might or might not know who will be the second for the next week HoH by the end of the show. The HoH who wins the first one will not be allowed to play in the second one at the end of the show Thursday.
Thanks
Sharon. that's what I thought, I wasn't quite sure when others were saying Shelli or Vanessa could win HOH I misunderstood what they were saying, who ever was left after the eviction would be able to play.
Anon,
It's all part of The Great Debate over which one should go first, Vanessa/Shelli, because of who's most likely to win comps. The general consensus now seems to be, due to past performances, that Shelli is more dangerous. To me, that's a toss-up, though Shelli does seem to be more 'trusted'... God knows why!
Although I should have said... Shelli seems to be more trust "by the other side."
James, Meg and Jackie don't trust her at all, but they don't trust Vanessa either.
For them, it's just the % of trust!! LOL
I don't think Vanessa wants to win HOH because her alliance is up in the air,. I think now she might just want to keep her mouth shut for awhile. I do think she was led by Clay and Shelli and lost track of her senses, why on earth was she trying to save Shelli so, I bet she's not telling them to now vote her out and keep Shelli. I really dont care who they evict first (well I take that back, because I really don't care for Shelli and think she should go first) but I also want Vanessa gone, only because of their attitudes. Really I think it would be kind of funny to see the rest of these hamsters scrabbling arould, trying to play a game that most know nothing about
Anon,
Vanessa might want to keep her mouth shut, but she's been a while-hair for quite a while, so it's possible she's not capable of keeping quiet. LOL
oops ... Wild-hair
Overall Shelli is more likely to win comps. Vanessa may be smarter for Q & A's but Shelli crushes her in physical comps.
Sharon N - Given Vanessa's paranoia, "wild-hare" might be even better.
Silk,
She does 'hop' around a lot!!! LMAO
House indeed flipping....
Bright spot.... uncartie will continue following BB. LOL
And it's JAMES heading the flip. :D
They still have 2 days to flip back. That seems the norm for this season so far. lol
Gotta love Steve...
Talks to himself because he needs someone intelligent to talk to! LMAO
My profile picture is interchangeable...take your choice: Becky or Vanessa! LMAO
I love a good house FLIP :)))
I especially love this one, LOL
Thanks Sharon. I knew if I threatened to leave Vanessa would have a chance. :) I'm shocked that it's happening...as of now.
James,Jackie,Meg, should call their alliance the "Flying by the seat of our pants" alliance. They seem to change their plans on an hr by hr basis. Now they've got a final 6 deal with Austin & the twins.@@ Austin's strategy seems to be just tell whoever he's talking to what they want to hear. He is 100% untrustworthy, imo.
I'm liking Jackie more and more. She reads people pretty well and has really good gut feelings about things. She gives up very little to anyone, but more to James now.
Liz's whiny Valley Girl voice is annoying.
I think it came down to James and Meg for the push on this flip. James would be the one most vulnerable (and Meg by proxy because BB17 Meg has to have her man/side-kick) with Shelli remaining in the house. Jackie also gave good reasons not to trust what Becky is doing. She knows that her main interest is in keeping Shelli who will not go after the "other" side of the house even if Becky WANTS TO KEEP HER. That's it in a nut shell right there. They are paranoid about Becky's relationship with Shelli and the should be because Becky was playing both sides for a while. I think the plan to flip is smarter than most are giving the "Goblins" credit for.
