BB19: Live Feeds, HoH Part Two - September 17
|
That comp was so hard! |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Watching Paint Dry:
- Well, with these three, it's definitely boring.
- They won't fight.
- They have nothing to fight about -- it's the Dos Amigos and Una Amiga.
- About the only thing worth reporting before the feeds were blocked for the second part of the HoH comp was that now Josh is waffling.
- The only real hope for a Paul shut-out of the final two would be a Josh win of HoH and Josh taking Christmas with him instead of Paul.
- If he pulled a move like that, Josh could possibly win it all.
- And, he keeps saying he wants to make that big move.
- Now?
- I guess he's having second thoughts.
- The feeds were blocked for hours for the second part of the final HoH comp.
- It was something to do with three different shooting manners (slingshot, arrow, etc.) and they had to knock down the hamsters who weren't part of the answer for different scenarios.
- Raven was Christmas's target problem -- she kept hitting her and the "so-and-so just wouldn't fall!"
- Josh had the same problem with Jillian.
- Of course, it wasn't the real hamsters in real life.
- Josh won it, apparently by five minutes over Christmas.
- Oh, yay ... as planned, he'll go against Paul in the live final round on finale night.
- He's still talking the silly talk about taking Paul instead of Christmas.
- Meanwhile, Paul plans to take Josh along with him.
- Either way, Josh would end up in the final two.
- But only one way would Josh stand a chance of the win.

Raven just wouldn't die! |

Still manipulating |

If Josh won the final HOH and took Christmas, he would deserve the win and as much as I don't like him, or any of the three left for that matter, it would be the only possible way to make this season end on a high note. Instant karma for the way Paul played, mean and nasty. Sorry Paul fans. He does deserve the win, again, but I just don't want him rewarded for playing the way he did.
I think Paul would probably go ballistic and end up being a very bitter jury member himself.
If Josh took Paul after winning the final HOH, he would just confirm what I have thought all season, he is not playing with a full deck. He seems to know what to do but without the balls to do it.
Josh has until Wednesday to think it over, maybe he will find a brain cell hidden somewhere to rub against the one he has been using and realize what must be done if he wins the final HOH.
Josh may be thinking that Christmas could get the sympathy vote if he took her.
He's in a tough position. He knows he's not liked by the jury because of early immature behavior. He knows it appears he's responsible for most of the jury members to be there. Even though he knows Paul has played dirty, he doesn't know what the jury house has figured out.
If he does have a shot, I hope he takes Christmas and leaves Paul at #3!!
I hope Josh grows a pair and decides to take Christmas IF he wins the final HOH. However, I don't think that's going to happen. Paul is very strong towards the end. I think he'll win. Unless he's just telling Josh he'll take him, Josh will go because he believes Josh has too many enemies in the Jury, especially the first 3.
I don't understand why so many people hope Paul won't win because he manipulated people. It is the nature of the game. You aren't there to make friends you're there to win. The goal is to get everyone else out so that you do win. Do players really think it can be done by being completely honest every step of the way? Will other players just lay down and get booted out if told that's the plan? Not a Paul fan outside of the house but he was a mastermind this season. He played the game to perfection and deserves to win. Don't get me wrong, outside of the house(game) I would think his behavior despicable. It's a game and he played it every second. Not one of the other players did that.
My favorite Tweet:
If Paul wins, he deserves it.
If Paul loses, he deserves it.
Anon 9:22,I agree completely. I'm not a Paul fan be played an outstanding game, one of the best ever. Yes he had unfair help the first 3 weeks but the season runs 13 weeks. He was in every hamster's ear every single day. Nothing happened in that house without Paul's OK.
There isn't going to be any "big moves" despite how Josh likes to tease it to the camera when he's alone. He,like everyone else in the house, owes his position in the house to Paul.
According to Jokers he and Paul have agreed to take each other to the final 2. Xmas will be told before part 3 so she isn't blindsided.
This Just In!!

I just can't even imagine why Josh would even consider taking Paul to final 2. Does he feel obligated to him? If he has the chance to choose and doesn't evict Paul, that will be the stupidest move all season - and there have been a lot of stupid moves. I don't know if he would win either way, but I think evicting Paul would earn him some votes.
I do think Paul has played the best game and deserves to win, I just really hope he doesn't. HIs personality really rubs me the wrong way. I think he felt he was entitled to this win the moment he walked through the door. I personally like to see a player that isn't afraid to get his hands a little dirty. I don't like the way he hid behind others to get things done.
I'm so ready for this season to end, but I always miss this blog when the season is over. I think I have commented more this season than any other. I need to make a blogger profile so I can be one of the cool kids. Maybe I'll come hang out when Survivor starts.
Thanks for all the updates Jackie.
The beautiful part of BB and Survivor is that a player must not only eliminate the other players, he must get them to vote for him in the end. The best example of this was Russel Hantz who would do anything he could to get to the end but seemed to forget that the people he abused had to vote for him. I understand the concept of bitter jury, but I think it's fair to vote against someone who has been emotionally abusive. Derek and Dan didn't cross the line. I think Paul has. That said I agree with Bizaro22.
Paul was one of the only ones to play the game (I think Cody played it too-just very badly). But I don't want him to win. It is not because of the manipulation, that is part of the game. I don't want him to win because of the mean spirited way he did it. And encouraging violence is not acceptable for any reason. Not in life and not in a game.
The worst part of Josh's delusional thinking? Even after the show is over, they'll have to explain it to him (in excruciating detail) why the 3 of them weren't well-liked. I'm visualizing his wide-eyed lightbulb moment...
Christmas may lose some of her "motivational" gigs... at least for a while.
If Paul loses by jury vote, they may have to be ready to slap a 'straight jacket' on him. A sight to behold, for sure!
Anon,
It's not Paul's manipulation that isn't appreciated because that is part of the game. It's the way he used the manipulation that has so many of us appalled. Yes, he deserves to win, but I don't have to like his methods. Worse, we are already hearing how he's has set up a whole breed of future players thinking to 'play' it the same vicious way.
This season has not been enjoyable to watch, and it's not just because Paul received the over-the-top 3 weeks of safety and all the 'friendship bracelets' that set him up nicely with never-before seen unwarranted advantages (not to mention CBS selling his clothing line during BB). It's also had to suffer through all those star-struck and weak-minded fools who couldn't think for themselves. Those that allowed themselves to be so easily led (and instructed) by Paul that they became awful people throughout the show.
It makes me wonder what these people are 'really like' outside the house...mostly because we've had a lot of successful players who never felt a craving need to resort to such underhanded and nasty methods.
IMO, Cameron should be glad he escaped...
Come back another year Cameron!
I believe that Paul is strong enough and manipulative enough to convince Josh to throw round three and let 'good hearted' Paul get blood on his hands to evict Christmas. I think Paul will convince Josh that the jury hates him(Paul) and that Josh will win. Let's see.
BTW, i despise Paul for the way he played. I think this final three is a pack of sociopathic misfits. We have had far better people in the house in the past. Think about the comp where the houseguests just continually threw garbage on Cody and Jessica. All orchestrated by Paul. Big Brother shame on you.
Bizarro - Exactly. Love that.
It occurred to me that all the true BB fans (Cam, Ramses, Cody, Mark) were eliminated fairly quickly. Only Josh remains, and ONLY because he's hidden the fact that he's a fan of the show (of the SHOW, not only of Paul).
I hope his BB-fan instincts alert him to how he needs to play in order to win. But, sadly, his kicked-puppy emotional state may force him to save Paul, his true master. It's all sick. LOL
Sharon - as usual, we're on the same page. Sad, isn't it?
Rosanne - I totally agree with you.
Thank you Jackie. I hope you had a nice, quiet birthday weekend.
For the past couple of few years I've just been watching the show, not doing much "peeking" or investigation in the happenings otherwise, so perhaps I'm not cognizant of things you guys know. I;m a little surprise to hear there's been so much controversy since most everyone playing the game hasn't done much of anything except play stupidly and be obnoxious.
But what really has me perplexed is the way Paul keeps thinking that everyone he sends out of there doesn't and won't know it was him - the old "no blood on my hands" saying. He seems to think everyone on the jury is his friend and on his team, just like he set them up to think while in the house.
Is he kidding or is he that delusional?
At this point I'm for a Josh and Christmas final two with Josh winning.
Whose idea is it to tell Christmas she's out before the third comp? Let me guess - Paul? But what about the blood? Christmas' vote? If Paul's confident he's got Josh locked down by that commitment, he'll throw the comp to Josh.
Please Josh, nod, smile, agree, let him think that, and then rebel. If you think you can't win because everyone hates you, remember WHY they hate you. Paul set you up to be hated. That's why he took you. You owe him nothing.
If it goes down as I hope and wish, it will be Paul's own arrogance that sinks him in third place.
I just wanted to say thank you to Jackie for posting Big Brother again this year. I have watched Big Brother since it began and this is my least favorite year. Reading your blog has made it a little more enjoyable, so thank you for that. Am hoping you'll be posting the upcoming Celebrity one.
I am not a fan of the way Paul played the game, but he was the ONLY ONE who played the game. If Cody had had a social game, he could have won, but he didn't. The rest of them needed to be led around and told what to do. That is their own fault. The person to win the game should be the one that played the best and since no one else really played the game, Paul deserves to win whether you like the way he played or not.
~Silk - I agree. Isn't it frustrating to know what someone should do, but we're powerless to tell them?
This season has been like an 80s horror film. We see the hero/heroine walking in to the old house/abandoned hospital/dark cemetery, and we want to SCREAM for them, "Stop! The killer is behind the tree!" Or, "the killer is sitting right there on your sofa!"
Maybe that is why it has been so stressful?
I feel like Paul was a shark among the guppies. He did play the game, kind of like Richard Hatch won the first Survivor. No one liked it, but he played to win.
I was going to vote for AFP and thought about Josh, but then I remembered his pots and pans - I hated that. And then thought about the antics best described as bullying by the entire household. So many of them were mean to each other and Paul really instigated. But he just pointed them in the direction - they chose how to take out their frustrations, and showed their true character.
Not sure who I want to win.
Can someone explain to me why Paul thinks he would win in a final two with Josh and not Christmas? Christmas has done nothing AND the comps that she won were given to her.
I can't wait to hear Josh's justification to the question "why should you win over Christmas?" "Well, she did hold two HOHs, but not because she won them. " bahahaha
I NEVER thought I would be saying this, but I hope Josh wins between he and Paul... AND THEN takes Christmas!
That would make this season all worth it!
T-Town Chick,
With bitter memories of losing to Nicole, my impression is that Paul is afraid the HGs in Jury will have had time to realize what he's done to all of them. He's also afraid that they all still like Christmas enough that they would give the Win to her and he'd lose... again. LOL
As an aside: it's kind of funny that Nicole won the $500k, and now Nicole is seriously dating Victor... Paul's former BFF from BB18.
I still don't understand how Raven REALLY thinks she and Matt are the ""puppet masters"!!! She really believes that. She doesn't have the answer as to why she and Matt are sitting in the jury house... the puppet masters that they are!!!
Judi, your wish is my wish. The best outcome would be Josh yessing Paul to death until Part 3, Josh wins part 3 and takes Christmas. My only fear is that kitchen convo that Josh had with Christmas where he committed to take her to the end and she did not reciprocate. That may come back to bite her. I must clarify that i dislike all of these three, i just dislike Paul the most.
Exactly how I feel too Rosanne! Really don't like these last 3. But of the 3 Josh seems to have more of a heart. The big easily led Meatball that he is... The true karma for Paul would be Josh turning on him! The "Puppet" actually cutting the strings and turning on the self-absorbed "Master"!
Is it me or has anyone noticed it. I feel there is something going on between Josh and Christmas. It's just the way they act toward each other. I can't explain it. I know in the beginning Josh and Christmas made a pack that if they made it to the end it would be the final 2. I would love see Paul's face if he didn't make it.
Jackie, NC
Christmas has recently mentioned having an 'interest' in Paul, however, I don't believe Paul has any romantic interest in Christmas. In fact, Paul has made a point of mentioning his girlfriend several times. Paul actually seemed upset when Josh asked if he and Christmas were in a showmance.
Paul and Christmas are together most of the time and they even sleep in the same bed, but I really think it's all part of Paul controlling any chance of Christmas/Josh having conversations that could possibly mess up his final plans.
Last night, when Xmas was in the DR for a couple of hours, Paul and Josh were talking in thr rbroom, Josh went over to Paul and whispered in his ear, from the answer Paul gave, he was asking Paul about Xmas and Paul being in a relationship. Paul said no way, she is 11 years older than me, she is attractive but no! He proceeded to say the type of girls he likes are "classy", and not an "insta-hoe", not sure if that was a dig or not! I just saw it again on YouTube so I know I didn't dream it!!!
Hamsterwatch (Dingo) got a leak from the jury round table. Dr. Will did moderate it and said it was a whole lot of bitter going on. Only Matt and Raven said they would vote for Paul if he makes it to F2.
We shall see what happens with the Jury. There's lots of time between now and Wednesday for minds to rethink. But they are probably sequestered at the hotel now, with no more opportunity to discuss how they were each used (and stupid), and to get even more bitter.
Production usually supplies low-budget toys to help preoccupy the remaining HGs, but it appears 'low-budget' has reached a new low. THREE little spinners? Really?
Production must really dislike this crew! LOL
They get whisked away right after the round table to the hotel. They won't have an opportunity to talk until the night of the finale. A lot can happen, but it would have to happen independent of them talking with each other.
I was tickled to see that Dr. Will did in fact moderate the RT despite that he tweeted he wasn't doing it there you. You know he loves doing that. :)))
Sharon, it's worse. They only gave them two fidget spinners, LOL
*that should have said doing it this year, lol ^there
Knowing they are all swallowing bitter pills, I'm getting anxious to see that RT discussion. I read that Dr. Will doesn't have bad feelings about this group of HGs... anything that works is fair game. As we've seen in past round-tables, he lead the discussion, but won't press his own opinions on them.
BB just got even cheaper with their entertainment options.
Christmas received a delivery from POP TV. Uh... yay?
It's a pull-string bag with Q&A for the F3. @@
Well, this might last maybe 30-60 minutes... if BBAD watchers are lucky.
I am SO happy to hear that Dr. Will got to host the jury round table. I like it when he moderates the RT.
I really believe Christmas thinks there's something between Paul and her. I find it very sad that he said that about her, although I do believe her vocabulary is rather rough.
IMO, the only jury members who should have somewhat of a bitter attitude are the first 3. Mostly for how they were treated. The remainder, I just don't understand it. Aside for Kevin, they were all treated well. Kevin has no idea what they all said about him, but he is the only one who said it was a game and he had respect for Paul. Just wait until he hears what they said about him. But then again, he did not play the game. They all did what Paul wanted.
Basically, most of them were part of the crowd. They were treated well because they did exactly what Paul wanted them to do. I just can't understand why ALL of them would think they were exclusive to Paul's alliance. It just amazes me how they, especially Raven and Matt, believed Paul was only telling them the truth. He had them believing it was a red badge of courage to go to the jury. God forbid if you played the game on your own. LOL.
I do not like Paul. Didn't like him last year and didn't like him this year; however, he had them eating out of his hands. He played every one of them. He wooed them. He stroked their egos and told them exactly what they wanted to hear.
My gosh. Just look at the race fiasco. He convinced every single one of them to throw the race to Christmas. They agreed to do it! All of them! How many times did he convince them to throw a competition for Josh or Christmas? Did they even stop to think, "Uhmmm, there's something going on here." No. They are in the jury because they were stupid. That's all. I'm done. LOL
I had not been watching the show, just reading Jackie's but i had them DVR'd and before i deleted i went to the jury episode just to see what they had to say and saw Raven (the mastermind) going on about how she "ran" the house with Paul. Talk about clueless. She and Matt where the "True" alliance with Paul. Loved how Cody just sat there with the look of "you are all idiots, i tried to tell you" look on his face. I would love to see Cody on BB again, even though his social game is horrible, i think teamed up with the right person or people they could do very well. Maybe they will bring him and Jess back together one day.
Chauncey, I don't think either one of them would come back. Cody likes to be in charge. He tried too much too soon. It's hard to be the first HOH.
If he hadn't tried to make a huge move in the beginning, I think he would have done better. He, foolishly, thought every one was on his side. He was clueless as to their feelings because he didn't talk to them. If he had, he would have realized they didn't want Paul out just yet. He would have realized immediately, they were in love with the thought of Paul taking them to the F2.
He had said before he went in to the house, how he was going to play the game. And, the HG he did not like the most was Paul. That really threw his game off. As soon as Paul came back in to the house, Cody went in to defensive mode. From that time on, his game was moot.
I do not think Jessica, nor Cody, will ever want to come back. LOL. Now, I do believe Cody would be perfect for Survivor or even TAR. I'd like to see his personality out of this situation.
