BB21: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - July 31
Okay, tonight we'll have the PoV comp. Word on the street is that it might have farm animals. Perhaps we shouldn't let Jackson near it? Speaking of Jackson, Entertainment Weekly, which is usually pro-BB, had a rather revealing article on Jackson right at this link. Hopefully something will be said on the live show tomorrow. I don't think they can keep ignoring the bad publicity or think by giving them a bit worse edit that fans will be happy.
I'll be live-blogging the major events as they air here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest update! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!
Previously on … and on.
We pick up at the end of the nominations ceremony with Nick and Sam on the block. Nick knew he's being targeted. Sam thinks he's supposedly a pawn. Mick and Sam are talking about the PoV players -- Nick wants to pick Jess because he could beat her and thinks that she would go home before Sam. Sam is still worried. Nicole is worried that either she or another one of her allies would go up as a replacement.
Kat tells Holly that she's willing to go up as a pawn if either Nick or Sam come down. They think, not only would it not "get blood on Holly's hands" but it would also conceal that they're working together.
Time to pick veto players -- Holly randomly draws Tommy. Sam gets Houseguest's Choice and picks Cliff. Nick draws Jessica. Holly chooses Jack to host the comp.
Veto comp time! It's a farm setting. They're dressed in farmer gear. There are sheep for the sheeple! How fitting is that? They have to herd them head to head. Counting sheep is the name of the comp. The order is chosen for them.
Nick vs. Jess is the first pair facing off. Their target number is seven. They have to collect sheep with numbers adding up to the number seven. Nick wins and advances to the next round.
Holly and Sam next. Their target number is eight. Holly wins and advances.
Cliff and Tommy are next with a target number of nine. Tommy wins and advances.
Nick and Holly face off with a target number of 15. Nick wins the round and Holly is eliminated.
Nick and Tommy go for the final round. Their target number is 21.
NICK WINS THE POWER OF VETO! Sam is sad, but he says he's still going to try. Holly isn't pleased because Nick was her target.
Christie talks to Holly. Is this a sign from above? Is Sam the bigger threat? Holly says that if she puts up Kat, that's a pawn. If she puts up Nicole, that's a target.
Christie and Tommy are given a poison ivy treatment -- bright pink "calamine lotion."
Sam tried to talk to Holly -- he wants someone with baggage next to him on the block. He tells her he has no beef with her, would never go after her. She brings up Nicole to him. He says she tried to play both sides. She tells us there are big threats, but they're in her alliance. Maybe she could use Sam to take those shots.
Holly talks about Nicole with CHristie. Christie thinks that would be a waste because "she won't win anything." Sam could win an HoH. Christie tells us she thinks something fishy is going on because Holly is pushing the Nicole agenda. Tommy runs to Analyse with the intel. It's now a red flag to her. Cracks are cracking more in their alliance.
Analyse runs to Jackson and Holly with the information. Jackson is getting more ticked about it than Holly. They don't like to hear that they're considered a couple. Well, duh. Maybe they shouldn't be a couple. Jackson is very disturbed that people think he might have a deal with Nick.
Jackson goes to Christie about the rumor that he and Holly are working with Nick and Sam. Hw claims it's Holly's HOH and not anyone else's. She talks to Holly to smooth things over. She brings Tommy in to talk with Holly. Now Holly thinks Analyse is planting seeds. Holly talks to Jackson. He says she doesn't have to bark at him. She was talking calmly, mind you.
Time for the veto meeting. Nick, of course, saves himself. In his place, Holly puts (the pawn) Kat on the block. Someone she doesn't talk a lot of game with and doesn't know where her head is at. Yeah, right.
So, tomorrow night it will be either Sam or Kat leaving.

BB21: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - July 30
I'm shocked she's kept the Tommy secret |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Frustrated Fans:
- This is going to be a bit brief tonight. I'm one of those frustrated fans, y'see.
- Sam, sure he's going home on Thursday, had been practicing a big throw Christie under the bus eviction speech. He wanted to blow up her game, tell how she conspired with others to go against members of her own alliance and all.
- He told Nicole the speech. She didn't seem to have much reaction. I think she just might be happy she didn't get put on the block this week.
- However, Nick freaked at Sam's speech … mainly because some of the information to Sam came from him.
- He asked Sam not to do it because he is trying to get back in with them.
- What is wrong with Nick?
- Why doesn't he see that ship has sailed? They don't want him for anything but OUT.
- Sam seems to have backed down from his speech but told Nick he should know that he'll never really get back in with them.
- Of course, both Sam and Cliff have been running to them with information.
- Dang, all of this make Jess look better.
- Last night Jackson was (supposedly) sick and had to be seen be a doctor. He claimed he had been vomiting.
- Now, that couldn't be the week's worth of groceries he eats every singled day, could it?
- It got them talking -- apparently both Tommy and Cliff had diarrhea. They talked about undercooked chicken and some other things.
- I don't know. One day I saw them leave uncooked meat out on the table for hours and hours. Jackson drinks out of the communal drink jugs and eats out food storage containers with his bare hands.
- Tommy and Christie no longer have poison ivy.
- Holly and Jackson were talking. Jackson was going on about Kat, but Holly spoke up for her saying that she thinks some of the things he takes umbrage at (not how she termed it) were just Kat's way of deflecting things or stabs at humor.
- They also talked about once the Six get down. Holly was saying that they're likely to be targeted because they're a real couple. According to her, Tommy and Christie aren't a real couple. She's right.
- Then she said, "Sis and Jack aren't a couple. They're just two people who have sex together."
- She seems to ignore that Jackson had Kat before he had her.
- BB has put a "sex stool" in the non-camera HoH shower stall.
- Christie has been giving them tips on how to use it.
- @@
- Hey, CBS … I'm an adult. If I want to watch/hear about porn, I could go elsewhere. I'm so sick of the casting on BB that gets people who just want to jump in bed with each other.
- For the record -- No sex for Nicole, Jess, Cliff, Sam, Tommy, Christie, Kemi, Ovi, David (although he did have a flirtmance with Kat, but I'm okay with that). Of those, three are married, so it's a very good thing.

BB21: Live Feeds Monday, PoV Meeting - July 29
The one who gets him out deserves the win |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Pompous Pups:
- Oh, the talk went back and forth.
- There are strong rumblings about the Jacks -- Jackson in particular.
- Like me, they sometimes call him Michie, sometimes call him Jackson.
- It would be nice if one of those names was a decent personality.
- But they both pretty much suck.
- The girls were talking about teaming up with Sam to take him out.
- What girls? Holly, Analyse and Christie.
- However, in order to keep Sam to work with them, they'd need to keep Sam.
- When Nick takes himself down with the veto, they'd have to put up someone who would go home instead of Sam.
- Y'know … if they put up Jackson, I'd just bet he'd go home!
- But … noooo.
- They won't do that.
- The talk was on and off about putting Nicole up.
- Kat had volunteered to go up as a pawn. Of course, that would mean that Sam leaves this week.
- Holly wanted the HoH, but she sure doesn't want to make the decision. Now, she does have Jackson to tell her what to do, but ...1
- She took the easy way out.
- When Nick took himself down, she put Kat on the block.
- So, we have Sam and Kat on the block.
- You do realize that, for me, Kat is my big hope of actually making a move against Jackson.
- Sam could have been that hope. But he's blown it by repeatedly falling in as a sheep for the Six.
- He knows that they have no loyalty to him. He could have played differently all along.
- I do doubt they'll save him. They think of him as a strong person in comps. That he is. But aside from the comps and the one saving of Cliff, he's shown pretty bad strategy.
- Plus, unlike most of them, he probably earns more weekly than the stipend. He doesn't want to just make it to jury.
- In other news, Holly has her rash back now that she's sleeping in the HoH room with Jackson once again. She thinks they need an exterminator and the problem is in the HoH room.
- Odd. Cliff didn't get a rash sleeping in there.
- Nor did Nick or Bella.
- I believe it's Jackson.
Not lookin' too good for Sam |
What does she add to the house? Seriously ... |
The wolves will get Nicole soon enough |
And then there's Cliff |

BB21: HoH Comp, Nominations Show Blog Party - July 28
Tonight we'll see the continuation of the endurance HoH comp from Thursday night and then the nominations. As those who follow the live feeds or my other posts, that's all old news now! But, some people come to the show posts as strictly show only folks. So, I do ask for no spoilers in the comments.
As the show airs here on the East Coast I'll be live-blogging the major events and updating this entry. Please refresh the page to get the latest happenings! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!
Remember -- Jess, then Nicole already fell in the comp before the live show ended~
Sitting through the "previously on."
We see Jess go down again in the HoH and we're getting desperate DR sessions form those who feel they must win. Cliff would SO not be good in this comp! Jess draws a chip from the box -- two will get a poison ivy punishment. The other chips seem to be just safety from that punishment. Nicole is down and she too is safe from the punishment.
In clips we see Christie trash-talking Jackson and Nick running to tell Jackson.
Oh noes! Sam is all over the place on his vines and … boom, he's down! He is safe from punishment.
Wet calamine lotion is being sprayed on them. Christie is out and … BOOM, she gets a punishment chip! Heh.
Nick is out. His "groins" were on fire. He doesn't get the punishment, at least it's not mentioned. Now ivy leaves are coming down on the participants. In clips, Jackson is haranguing Kat. More glop is splashed on them.
Jack is down! Too bad, so sad! He's safe from the poison ivy punishment.
Analyse points out her athletic abilities in soccer, but says this is horrible. Tommy doesn't want to win the HoH. He feels safe. Whoops, he falls down! AND … he got the second poison ivy punishment chip!
Holly, Jackson, Analyse and Kat remain. Kat tells us she refuses to come down before Jackson does.
JACKSON IS DOWN! Kat gives it a minute, then drops after getting a promise of safety from the girls. It's down to Holly and Analyse. They try to talk deals while Jackson keeps telling Holly not to drop. Even Christie who thinks it's all about Christie thinks Jackson thinks all should be about him. He keeps dictating that Holly stay up. The two girls -- Analyse and Holly -- know that they're safe no matter who wins. Analysie is down.
HOLLY WINS HOH! Or, Jackson wins HoH, so to speak. Analyse is ticked off that Jackson kept barking for Holly to stay up when they're all in the same alliance. But we know a win for Holly is an HoH for Jackson, too!
Jackson tells us he wanted Holly to win
Cliff, trying to keep up good will, is handing out beer from his HoH basket. He doesn't want to go on the block. Nick is sure he's going up. Sam is worried and feels he needs to talk game for the first time with Holly. Christie is also feeling Analyse's pain over how Jackson acted in the comp towards Holly.
Heehee. Cricket noises when Holly wants to know who wants to see her HoH room. The oohs and aahhhs and a letter from her mother. Obviously written before she jumped into the sack with Jackson … or she's not allowed to reprimand her. Nicole was touched.
Christie goes on an anti-Michie trip. She annoys me but her comments about him are spot on.
Jackson/Michie is advising Holly to put up Sam and Nick. She is worried about putting both of them up at the same time. Then he tells her to put up Nicole and Nick … because there would be less of a chance of them coming after him.
Whose HoH is this?
Kat pushes her moon landing conspiracy theories but Cliff is a firm believer. She also spouts off several other conspiracy theories. Y'know, I was just starting to like Kat. But this is a bit much.
Christie and Tommy get their poison ivy punishments. They have painted airbrushed red splotches all over them and leaf bathing suits. They're must stay inside for four days and cannot shower.
Sam talks to Holly/Jackson and points out that he could work with them. He's willing to be on the bottom even. He tells them that he wouldn't nominate them.
Holly tells us she doesn't know what she's going to do. (I guess she has to make sure what Jackson wants her to do.)
And, the moment of truth … time for nominations. Holly nominates Nick, then Sam. She thinks the key is trust and teamwork. Nick lost trust and Sam was caught in the crossfire.
BB21: Live Feeds into Sunday Afternoon - July 28
Making the parents so proud! |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Ill Repute:
- I've seen this season compared to last season with a big alliance oretty much ruling the house.
- Yeah, that did happen.
- However …
- Last year the "sides" went back and forth with HoH reigns.
- Last year one side just didn't act together and the other side did.
- Last year the dominating side wasn't mean or sleazy.
- This year, BOTH sides are screwing up and not on the same page. The majority side talks about taking out their own people almost as often as they talk about taking out the other targets.
- This year, the minority side just keeps going with the flow of the majority side even though they know they'll be picked off one by one. No one really makes the REAL big move.
- Yeah, Cliff made a big move when he put the Jacks up on the block. But, unless you follow through and make one of them go home, it's not big move completed at all.
- I just don't understand why folks like Cliff, Nicole, Sam, Kat and even Jess (and now Nick) think that getting accepted "into" the group will save them. They need to start working together, stop voting as a house!
- Of course, that's all a moot thing this week with Nick/Sam on the block and Nick winning the veto.
- Kat has volunteered to be a pawn on the block next to Sam with the thinking she won't be voted out. She's nervous about it, though.
- Christie seems to go back and forth between declaring Nicole shady and then saying they should have her work with them.
- Holly wants to put Nicole up against Sam, but then they're not sure Sam with go home then and he's more of a threat in winning comps.
- Christie wants to make it all about her and is panicking that she might be put up. @@
- All that's really certain is that Nick will save himself.
- Sam really does seem to have thrown in the towel. He's already packed his bags. He wants to deep clean the kitchen so that he doesn't have to talk game.
- "I'm so over that," he said.
- The house has just about gone through the whole new supply of groceries thanks mainly to Jackson.
- I cannot believe the amount of food he eats. I guess it's good that he's so into fruit or he'd be 400 pounds. Even so and even with his cheating all week Have Not time last week, it looks to me like he's gained about 20 pounds since the season started.
- Something's wrong with that boy!
- Well, there are other things wrong with him, too.
- Of course, he's back in bed with Holly. After all, he can't get at Analyse yet due to Jack and Holly is HoH.
- It creeped me out yesterday to see him in a room with others, stand up, reach way down in his pants to mess with himself somehow, then sit and invite Holly to sit on his lap -- "Want some of this?"
- Blech.
- Oh … by the way, although Jack seems to have chastised just about every female in the house over food and refrigerator stuff, like penalties from production, Jackson is immune.
- He drinks out of the communal milk jug. Jack doesn't say boo to him.
- I don't like these people.
- And, even the people I like are screwing up this season.
- Woe is me.

BB21: Live Feeds Saturday, PoV - July 27
The poison ivy doesn't affect her mouth |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Discombobulated Dogs:
- Today is the big veto comp.
- If you're not caught up (why aren't you?) with things -- Holly won HoH, she nominated Sam and Nick.
- They had the veto players pick. In addition to Holly, Sam and Nick, we have Jess, Cliff and Tommy playing.
- Hmm.
- I don't know if any were HG Choice although I recall Nick telling Sam that if he got that chip he'd go for Jess because he knows he can beat her.
- Things are going really screwy there.
- Well, they have for a lot of the season, but …!
- Is Sam throwing the towel in?
- He spoke to Cliff telling him he'd like him to throw the win to Nick if he could.
- Sam says if he's going to go home anyway, he wants to go pre-jury so that he could be with his family.
- Oh my. A hamster not looking for time in jury doing nothing and collecting the stipend?
- Say it ain't so!
- Cliff told him he'd try. But he said it's going to be hard because when he's in a comp his mindset is always to go for the win.
- I'm really losing my faith in Cliff.
- After talking with Sam, he reported to HOH, telling them he was asked by Sam to take Nick off the block instead of Sam if he wins veto.
- Then there's the girls. Analyse and Christie were talking about taking in Sam with them to get rid of The Jacks.
- Oh my … again.
- I guess it's not love with Analyse and Jack. For both it must just be sex … and shared with the world.
- Nick tried calling Christie on various lies and real conversations she's had with people.
- Cue hysteria again.
- Holly is on an anti-Nicole kick now. I think that it's pretty obvious that if someone gets saved with the veto, Nicole will go on the block.
- Oh! I forgot to tell you … they did name Have Nots. There are only three and it's the first three out of the HoH comp -- Jess, Nicole and Sam.
- Jackson went around talking about how they have to follow the rules or get a penalty nomination.
- He should have followed his lecturing with "Unless you're me, of course. I cheated all last week and nothing happened. But YOU have to follow the rules!"
- An unrelated note: Christie doesn't think vocabulary is a big thing there days like it was in the past with the older generation.
- Gah.
- I'd like to defenestrate that loquacious Christie! And, she wouldn't have a clue.
- I found out that Christie and Tommy have to have sponge baths only -- no showers, baths or swimming -- with their airbrushed on poison ivy. It sounds like they were taken off site to have it applied.
- Once again, I'm waiting for the feeds to return from the PoV comp block before posting.
- Today is the 15th Anniversary for Hamsterwatch.com -- That Dingo and I have a very similar AOL background which nay be why neither of us get all hot and bothered over hamsters and try to be rational about postings. She was not a part of the team with me on the TV boards, though.
- Okay, feeds are back.
- All the veto players are dressed in farmer-type gear.
- NICK won the Power of Veto.
- I fear for Sam or Nicole ...
They all want something from Cliff |
I wish Kat would work with Nicole |

BB21: Live Feeds Friday, Nominations - July 26
Poor Tommy has poison ivy |
Here's the latest from inside than Big Brother House of Itches for Witches:
- Feel free to substitute a B for that W above.
- Tommy and Christie got the poison ivy punishments doled out in last night's HoH comp.
- Today they got to wear them.
- Definitely not the most impressive punishments. The costumes are a mix of make-up and leafy swimsuit kind of apparel. They are not tethered together. It sounds like they have to wear them all week, no swimming or showering in them. Oh well.
- As for nominations, it went as expected --
JacksonHolly put Sam and Nick on the block with the target being Nick. - Now, I wouldn't mind Jess on the block and out at all. But that doesn't seem to be happening.
- She adds very little to the season or to my entertainment. I don't want to see them hauling her to the end just to give someone a guaranteed win with her as the final two partner.
- If Nick gets HG choice, he plans to pick Jess because he knows he could beat her in the veto comp.
- Nick was definitely expecting to be put up while Sam was kind of sure he'd be on the block.
- So … no surprises.
- And there ya go ...
Poor Christie has poison ivy |
Mingling continues |
BB21: Live Feeds into Friday - July 26
Yes, Nick. It will indeed be a nail-biter |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Miserable Mice:
- Last night's HoH winner could have been Analyse instead of Holly.
- Holly was considering dropping while talking to Analyse and probably would have had Jackson not yelled that she had to stay up.
- After all, he couldn't win at that point, but it would still be his HoH if Holly won.
- @@
- Either one, though, would be another HoH for the Jacks.
- That said, both Holly and Amanlyse did incredibly well in the comp -- 2 hours and 19 minutes.
- And, though I hate to say it, Jackson did really well as did Kat. Kat I wanted to do well. Jackson not so much.
- In a way, I'm kind of speechless. But, I'll try. Y'see, Holly came into the house talking about thinking of respect for her parents and her small town, she wouldn't do anything to embarrass them.
- But then she did. She jumped into bed with Jackson. Then she was told that the sex would be on the live feeds. So, she cooled it with Jackson. But then she made up with Jackson before the live show last night.
- So, you know who's sleeping and, more likely, not sleeping in the HoH room.
- And, Jackie … what about those Have Nots?
- Supposedly Have Nots aren't allowed to eat until midnight on the live evection show day. Yet Jackson started immediately after the feeds picked up after the HoH comp.
- Okay, he's been cheating, blatantly even, without any sort of penalty all week. What does an hour or two matter?
- They haven't named any Have Nots for this week. Perhaps, if they're not going to enforce the rules for one, they can't enforce them for anybody and they're throwing the towel in.
- I don't know.
- Holly has had the revolving door of everyone pleading their case to stay off the block.
- We know that much of the decision will be influenced by Jackson.
- Sigh.
- Nominations are later today.
- It looks like she'll probably be putting Nick and Sam on the block.
- Christie even suggested Cliff because "they" (she) only promised him two weeks safety.
- So, yeah … they continue to be picked off one by one.
- In other news, I watched the extended Bella/Julie interview. My gosh, had that Bella been in the house, she'd still be in the house!
- Once I know the nominations, I'll post.
I'm so glad Jackson isn't in my life. |
Could have won, still a bad scenario. |
She did do well in the comp. Who is she? |
I really wanted a Kat or Nicole victory. |

BB21: Live Eviction Show Blog Party - July 25
So, here we are … going into the first real eviction of the season. Will it be Jack or Bella? Will it be a landslide or a blindside? These questions and more will be answered during the show.
Lifeguard SueGee has updated the blog pool. You can find the latest standings at THIS HERE POST.
I'll be live blogging the major events and updating this entry as the show airs here on the East Coast. A separate post is waiting in the wings to cover the expected HOH endurance comp which is promised on the live feeds after the aired show ends. That post should appear, as if by magic. a few minutes before 10pm ET. As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!
Julie, once again looking like a breath of fresh air in the summer. welcomes us and we're into the "previously on" segment. I will twiddle my thumbs until the real action starts.
We're promised an epic battle of endurance beginning in the show. And, it's back to Julie. Can Bella talk her way out of the trouble she's in? We pick up after the veto meeting ends. Cliff tells us he's thinking weeks ahead. We'll see how that works out. Jack thinks his odds are good. Nick thinks Cliff made a stupid move as the ones he's helping just voted him out last week.
Bella is crying. Jackson tells us how the entire house has been burned by Bella. Cliff tells Nick why he did what he did. Cliff tells us Nick and Bella aren't his path to victory.
Nick is sure that Bella will be voted out. He seems to really care about her. That's a bit unlike some of the other hanky-panky going around in the house! She tells us she loves him and will fight to stay in the house.
Jack thinks it says something about Cliff that he kept his word to Christie. Cliff proposes working with them. He knows he won't be at the head of the totem pole. He would like to make sure he's not a target while they turn on each other -- sort of like they turned on Sam and Bella. They're receptive to Cliff's proposal.
Kat and Holly both come from the pageant world. They recognize each other but don't know each other (like Tommy and Christie know each other). So, some of these secrets are coming out. They go for a final two deal together.
Cliff explains to Bella why he put her up and that if he hadn't, Christie would have used the power and she would go up anyway. She tells him she will campaign for the votes. He tells her more power to her. Cliff tells her that if it's a tiebreaker, he will do what he has to do. Hmm.
She is working it. Kat tells us she knows Jack will have to go, but it might be too early. She goes to Jess and Nicole. Jess is still mad at her but says Bella makes a compelling argument. Nicole tells us she can actually work with this Bella and it's a huge opportunity to get rid of Jack.
Just before commercial, Julie tells us it's time to meet the Cliffomaniacs; On a side not, I'm getting a kick out of his daughter Kelly on Twitter. She's a hoot!
We meet his family. His wife speaks highly of him. His two adult kids are there, too. We get a clip of his moon tribute from the feeds. He has a patent. Hmm. Then we get a clip of him twerking in the fashion contest yesterday. His kids are very proud, as is his wife. The live vote is next and we go into commercial.
To the living room.
Bella - Shout outs, consider the bigger threat, haven't won anything, large group, will take out the others one by one, respect Jack and your decision.
Jack - Hates speeches, team player, hold myself with integrity, hope you vote what's best for your game.
The votes to evict:
Christie - Bella
Analyse - Bella
Jackson - Bella
Nick - Jack
To commercial …
Sam - Jack
Nicole - Bella
Kat - Bella
Jess - Bella
Holly - Bella
Tommy - Bella
Eight to two, Bella is evicted. They had their chance to get rid of a real threat and didn't do it. I love that Kat said first she wanted to evict Michie! So, we go through the fake hugs. Bella is handling it well. Nick is crying.
Now, if the Bella talking to Julie was the Bella in the house, she'd still be there. She does indeed care about Nick. We get goodbye messages. Sam, Nicole leave nice messages. Nasty from Jack. Nick sweet. Bella is in tears by the end. But she did come off as very poised for most the interview, there will be an extended interview online.
To the backyard. Pose in Ivy. Hold onto vines for dear life, fall off, you're eliminated. Pull chip from punishment box. Two will receive poison ivy punishment. They're swinging, two hands on vines, feet also on vine-like moving piece.
Julie tells us next Thursday we get to send three HG on a trip that will put one HG game on the line.
Back to the comp -- Jess is down. Pick up the action on the comp post I made. Nicole is out.
BB21: Live Feeds into Thursday Morning - July 25
The loving couple coming to an end? |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Controversial Critters:
- For some reason this season's cast is into group activities.
- I think the reason is Tommy. He always seems to be in the thick of it all.
- He probably thinks it will get him air time.
- Now, this is a group in which some (the Jacks) often talk about hating people, then to their faces say they love them.
- Hate is a very strong word. If I sincerely hated someone, I wouldn't have anything to do with them.
- Yet, again and again, they all talk love and kumbaya in the presence of the hated.
- Yesterday's group activity was a fashion show.
- Hey, it took up more than a few hours of the live feeds.
- Seeing Cliff twerking in boxer shorts is something I can't unsee.
- Jess did more than she's done the whole season so far in the house. She put on quite a show and won the fashion show. Beep beep.
- Then there's the game talk ... finally.
- Nicole is still trying her best to get the votes to keep Bella. She wisely sees that the chance to get Jack out might not come around again soon and thinks they need to take the shot at him.
- She thinks if she can gather five votes for Bella to stay (or, in other words, for Jack to go away), that would force Cliff into breaking the tie.
- I don't think she's going to get the five votes.
- I think they're all or mostly going to be sheep once again.
- However, if she did get the votes to keep Bella, I fear Cliff would vote to keep Jack anyway in his misguided attempt to work his way to the seventh person in a six person alliance.
- He's not looking long term at the game and it's disappointing to me.
- It seems like he's willing to lose a definite number for his side and his side altogether to go to a group where he'' be used, abused and discarded when they're through with him.
- Jackson was all kind of ticked off yesterday when they got groceries. He's been asking for watermelon all season so far and yesterday it finally came in. He doesn't want anyone to touch the several melons until he comes off slop.
- He's probably angrier because he can't think of a way to hide a watermelon in his pants to sneak to the shower to eat.
- After the fashion show (beep beep) Jackson seemed to be absent from the live feeds most of the evening. Diary Room? Sleeping in a prohibited area? Eating watermelon behind a chair? I don't know.
- Tonight's HoH comp is promised to be an endurance comp and they're pushing the live feeds to view it.
- I'm thinking it could quite possibly be a wall comp. It's just as good that Cliff is outgoing HoH and can't compete. I don't think he'd last long.
- If a wall, I don't see Jack or Jess lasting long, either.
- I'm hoping some of the inconsequential ones cough:::Analyse, Holly::: don't last long. If either of them win, you know it would be Jack/Jackson in charge.
- Holly is so inconsequential to the show. How inconsequential is she? She's so inconsequential that they call her Beth on Twitter.
- Why Beth? Apparently, although I don't recall it, when they were introducing themselves after entering the house, someone (Jackson?) called her Beth after the introductions.
- Both Jack and Sam (who claims to be such a huge BB fan) were shocked that some people actually watch the live feeds 24/7 and file reports on the internet.
- Yes, Jack … as long as the camera is on you, we see every move you make and every breath you take.
- If memory serves, when the cast bios came out, I only noticed a few even mention the live feeds. Ovi for sure. And, I think Nicole. Cliff mentions a lot of the sites (not this one, of course) but hasn't really talked about the live feeds.
- I wonder what Jack thinks the cameras are for?
- Oh, well. We'll probably see a sheeple vote again tonight with Nick being a single vote for Bella to stay because he can explain it.
- There may be a stray vote in there, too.
- Nicole was talking to Christie about being blamed for the previous hinky vote -- both believe it was Jackson.
- Christie has lately been on an anti-Jackson kick and how he needs to go.
- That won't happen tonight.
- And, since Christie is such drama queen, who knows if that's even the way she really feels?
- I hate to say it, but Christie might just be playing the best game in the house. It's sad because she annoys me. But she has her Bunch o' Boys and Gals pretty much in tow yet her name isn't coming up as a target with the exception of Cliff pondering fooling her to not use her power and throwing her on the block … which didn't come to fruition.
- She has shield all around her in the Jacks and, if it got down to it, the no threat at all
BethHolly and Analyse. - Tonight will show that the proof is in the pudding.
Cliff shakes his stuff at the fashion show |
He could have been a contender |
Glad she keeps the six guessing |
Is she doomed in the game? |
People actually watch the live feeds 24/7? |

BB21: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - July 24
Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends … even though this season it needs to! Tonight is the PoV show and, hopefully, some of the issues seen and heard on the live feeds might get addressed. Some have made the major scandal media outlets. Than said, this post is about the show that's airing and is to be SPOILER FREE. Thank you!
I'll be live blogging, updating this entry with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments section -- please feel free to join in on the fun!
We'll sit through the Previously On. After all, it was previously on!
We pick up the action after the end of the nominations ceremony. Cliff thinks he made a big move nominating Jack and Jackson but is worried about Christie using her power. Jack thinks he's Cliff's target. Gee, y'think?
Christie is crying so her buddy Jack has to console her. She's freaking out more than the nominees. She knows any of her alliance who win the PoV will expect her to use it. Had she not told them all, she wouldn't have this dilemma. She isn't safe if she gives it to someone else who wins the veto to use it.
Cliff talks to Nicole and Kat, then Sam enters. He tells them if it backfires on him, it does. Nick is a bit cocky about Cliff's nominations.
The SLOP has arrived! Have Nots has returned. They'll be housed in the Camp ComeBack room. Cliff chooses Tommy, Kat, Sam and Jackson.
Christie tells Cliff of her woes about using the power. He doesn't want her to hijack his HoH. He tells her how strong she is and how he doesn't want her on the wrong side of him.
Jackson is looking to see who has the one power that's owner unknown. Of course, it's Jack. He explains his power to Jackson. He can demand a new drawing of veto players if the original draw contains someone like Sam.
And … it's suddenly veto players pick time! From the bag, Cliff pulls out Houseguest's Choice and goes for Sam. Jack drew Holly. Jackson drew Jess. But wait …! Jack doesn't like those people! He activates his Chaos Power. It's a re-draw of the chips.
Cliff gets Kat. Jack gets Sam … so much for that, huh? Jackson gets Analyse.
Cliff talks to Sam about his worries that Christie will use her power.
Veto comp time! They have to go out to the lake in the yard. There's a jetski sitting there. They have to strip down to their swimsuits while holding in three buttons. Each button they lose touch on speeds up the clock. Once to the bathing suit, dive into the lake and push a button to lock in their time.
It's a struggle for all of them. Due to his size, I think Jack might have had the most trouble.
Cliff - 4.47
Analyse - 9.06
Sam - 11.21
Kat - 3.25
Jack - 13.10
Jackson - 2.59
JACKSON AND MICHIE win the PoV!
Cliff is all worried now. He did not want either Jack or Jackson to win.
Christie feels like everyone is looking at her to use the veto so that Bella would go up. Her alliance is pressuring her. She doesn't want to "piss off" Cliff, nor her alliance. What to do? Crying might help. At least she realizes she should have kept her mouth shut about it. Jackson is telling her it would be blood on his hands, not hers.
Jackson pressuring her is turning her off. After all, she's such strong woman -- who is just given to hysterics now and then. She doesn't want a man telling here what to do!
Christie goes to talk to Cliff. He's thinking her has to buckle down and try to get safety or something. She complains to him about Jackson pressuring her. Cliff points out that if Jackson saves himself, he could put up her or Tommy. She tells him that for the next two weeks, she would offer him safety or use her power to save him. She tells him that she wouldn't break her word. This is all contingent on outing up Bella. He promises her. But he's doubting himself.
Veto meeting time. Jackson saves himself, of course. Christie does NOT invoke her power. Cliff puts up … Bella. Sigh.
Cliff tells us he couldn't break his word. Christie is ecstatic. She still has her power. Bella is upset. Nick is upset.
