BB21: Live Feeds into Friday Night, Nominations - July 19

Resting easy this week

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Boss Hogg:
  • For those not familiar with the old show, Boss Hogg was a character on The Dukes of Hazzard.
  • Cliff would make the old Boss Hogg proud between his amazingly quick win to reenter the house, then his HoH win and now his nominations.
  • Before I get into more -- now that the Camp ComeBack room is empty, it's not.
  • The Have-Nots are back in town.
  • I believe they volunteered to go on slop this time around.
  • Although it's hard to believe that Jackson, Hider of Food, would really go thee willingly. He steals food and hides it. He eats a ton. If I ate as much as he does, I'd be on that 600 Pound Life show (whatever it's called).
  • But Jackson is indeed a Have Not as are Kat, Christie and Tommy.
  • Now, everyone worked on Cliff to try to avoid the block.
  • Christie told him of her power. Now I think everyone in the house knows about it because she also told Nicole yesterday.
  • Sam told him about his conversation with Jack in which Jack screwed up mentioning the eight, then putting him (Sam) in there calling it nine, then accidentally calling it eight again.
  • Cliff wants to work with Nick, Bella, Sam, Jess, Kat and Nicole.
  • Bella is going to be the weak link wild card of that bunch.
  • Nick seems to have come to the realization that Bella is affecting his own game and is going to try to get her going on more of an even keel.
  • Cliff knows that Nicole is vehemently against Bella (in particular out of Nick and Bella) but wants her to try to work with her.
  • The Jacks tried to tell Cliff how to run his HoH and the targets he should choose.
  • But, in the end, Cliff did what he thought was best for his game.
  • He made that big move -- Jack and Jackson are on the block.
  • His target is Jack more than Jackson.
  • If Christie is smart (well, maybe it could happen), she won't waste her power to save either.
  • I do think she would like Jack out of the way because he is a threat to win. But no way would she ever put him up if she were HoH. This would solve that problem for her.
  • She's got some kind of love/hate thing going on with him.
  • At least now Cliff can give his Cliff Notes from the solitude of the HoH room AND see if anyone is eavesdropping with the spy cam.
  • Tommy is a bit of a sneaky snake
Sam telling Cliff about the 8, 9, 8
    I'm not freaking out
Bad News Bella shouldn't be forgotten.
Jack hugs Cliff after nominations. Yeah.
    Stepping up the game.

Life in the BB house isn't good yet, but it's definitely gotten a lot better.
I'd like to think Cliff is starting to redeem himself with us...at least a bit. It's just so refreshing not to see the Jacks totally running (and ruining) everything now.

Jack's power isn't as good as Christy's, so I hope she doesn't get talked into using it on one of them, but I agree that's doubtful. However, it would be great if Cliff can drag both powers out on this HOH.

Cliff is smart trying to get everyone not in Hateful to work together, especially Bella and Nicole. While Bella is a major wildcard, there is strength in numbers. At the very least, he will either get one of the Jacks out or flush the powers. Glad Cliff is doing what a true fan would do with his HOH.

Btw, did anyone else see the end of the TV show last night when Kat went to high five someone, got left hanging, and then tried to play it off? It's amazing how I disliked her early in the season, but now she's really grown on me with her quirky ways.

Best news I have heard since the season started. =)

Now it all comes down to who wins the Veto. Christie is seriously thinking of using her power, depending on who wins the veto, to get Bella put up and out. So Cliff just might flush out all the powers and get one of the Jacks out or Bella. Not a bad deal at all.

I agree David. Best news all season!

Hard to believe Christy would waste her power on Jack.
Of course, Christy said she would use it when Jack was talking to her and Tommy.
Blowing smoke maybe?

NOW it’s BIG BROTHER! I agree with everything you have said Jackie! Now, I’m awake! It will be interesting to see what Christie does! Looking forward to all the updates Jackie... thank you

You are right Sharon. I think Kat gave Christie some good advice that she should use it for herself, not some stupid sense of loyalty.

What is with all these people trying to save Jack? They are crazy. The whole point is to try and win the game and collect the money.

OK, now for a Vicious Rumor (started by me just now).
I have it on good authority (me, myself, and I) that CBS made Jack shave off his beard and mustache because Jason Momoa threatened to file a defamation lawsuit against them for letting this lookalike make him look bad. He was appalled at the things this impostor was doing and demanded CBS do something about it.

OK, now I finally feel like I am having some fun with this BB Season. Strange how just one HOH win can change everything I feel about this. =)

David - that is hilarious news! I knew the DR had made him shave, but I thought it was just so he looked less sinister.
Good for Jason Momoa!

David,
Now that "made-up" rumor is too funny!!
Like the way your mind works. LOL

Judi Sweeney said...

Love it David.... now that’s a great rumor! Thank you Bizaro for the exit interviews! I am definitely finding myself looking for all the updates! Yes, it is amazing what one HOH does for BB fans! LOL...

Jack used his Power for the Veto Comp and drew Sam, Analyse & Kat.
So, Veto players are Cliff, Jack, Jackson, Kat, Sam, Analyse

He chose 2 weaker comp players, and Sam.
Jack, Jackson or Sam could beat the others, but what was he thinking?
Jackson would use Veto on himself, and I don't think Sam would take Jack off (heh). :D)))

I watched most of the feeds all day. I saw a side of Tommy I did no t like at all. He has that we are the good guys and they are bullies thing going on. The jacks are horrible bullies but I guess since they are on his side it’s Ok. He kept saying how disapppointed he was that Cliff did not pit one up from each side and let the house decide. Even Jess who I really didn’t even think knew she was playing a game said. Yeah but your side proved that you could flip the house without even talking to anyone or bringing anyone in. That’s to much power and his only response was I have no respect for someone who allows bullying. Christie acts like she’s not using her power Does she really not know how the power works or is it game I mean in the past if there was a diamond power of veto who ever won the regular veto used there’s then the diamond veto winner could use it and name the nom also the winner is safe she was saying yesterday she is to tell whoever wins the veto to use the diamond power and they pick the nom and that they could pick her. Also does no one know what Jacks power is. I know some knows he has it but I have never heard anyone say what it is. It’s really not that great of a power I mean there’s no guarantee the redraw will be better than the first draw.

Sharon N said...

Brandi,
They all know what Jack's power "was" now because he just used it.
The original players were Sam, Jessica and Holly.
When Jack used his power, he changed the players to Sam, Analyse and Kat.

As far as Christy... who the heck knows. She's a wild-hair that flits back and forth and tells everyone something else. Maybe it's what she thinks they want to hear? Right now, she has Jack convinced she'd use her power on him. @@

Petals said...

Yay! One power flushed!

Brandi said...

Yeah you posted that as I was typing that’s me always a day late and a dollar short. Lol. But if Christie really thinks that I hope production does not correct her. I can hear them saying we’ve told her 100 times just let her thinks what she wants

Finally this season get interesting! Tho I fear it may be temporary. If a Jack wins POV, and Cliff puts up Bella, either a Jack or the Bella goes. Which would be great. But that means if a Jack, Nick, or most anyone from Gr8atful wins the next HOH, Cliff will probably be gone, and we will be back to one large alliance, with multiple alpha males dominating the game again.

In an ideal world Nicole will win the next HOH and pick off another one of whoever is left behind of Jack-Jack and NiBella. If the next HOH is an endurance contest of hanging onto a leaning ledge Nicole stands a good chance of winning that over the muscle guys who are too top heavy and virtually never last to the end. We shall see.

My concern with Cliff wanting to work with Nick and Bella this week.....anything said to Bella will get straight back to the Jacks.

Sharon N said...

IMO, the only reason Cliff is willing to work with Nick/Bella is to built "the other side" alliance. Right now, he needs those two... along with Nicole and Sam and possibly Kat. The only thing with Kat is that she's hard to read because she's friendly with both sides (a nicer kind of Tommy). Odd person out, Jessica, is hopeless.

Brandi said...

Oh goodie Jackson won veto now we get to hear how awesome he is for the rest of the week

Sharon N said...

Ha! Jackson won Veto, so he'll take himself off the block.
They are all convinced that Cliff will put up Bella... yeah, right.

Anonymous said...

I don't think they think Cliff will put up Bella. Supposedly Christie is going to use her power and Jackson is going to nominate Bella.

Brandi said...

I just hope Christie does not use her power. Jackson keeps telling Kat she has to give me her power

Sharon N said...

So now we see where the old bear poops in the buckwheat. Who will vote Jack out with Bella OTB... that is, IF she's OTB.
A whole bunch of people are blowing smoke... just don't know if it's BS smoke! lol
The key might be...if Christy goes up, she'll have to use her power to take herself down and then name Bella. The best thing would be that both powers will have been used.

Judi Sweeney said...

I like that idea Sharon! Hopefully Cliff tells Christie up knowing she has the power and will need to use it. I would love to see Jack go home! Thanks for the updates everyone! I’m definitely glued to all the updating!! LOL...

Judi Sweeney said...

If Cliff tells Christie the only reason he is putting her up is so the power is used... she will handle it easier and then put Bella up! Exciting now!!

Sharon N said...

Maybe Jackie can clear up how The Diamond Power of Veto works.

My understanding is that Christie can pull down 1 person... and then SHE gets to name the replacement. BUT, will Christie use to DPOV for anyone but herself?
Cliff already knows Christie has the DPOV, so when Jackson takes himself down, maybe Cliff will name Christie as the replacement nom and force Christie to use the DPOV on herself.

Judi Sweeney said...

That’s what I’m hoping for too Sharon! I THINK Cliff can name Christie as Jackson’s replacement! But Jackie would definitely know better than I... that is just what I would like to see... Woooo Hoooo

Sharon N said...

Judi,
Cliff would definitely name Jackson's replacement. It's just a matter of whether Christie will use the DPOV on whoever is OTB at that point. Christie would be stupid to use it on anyone but herself, so now we get to see how smart she is... or isn't.

When Jackson comes down, Cliff would be smart to nom Christie as his replacement.
That would force Christie to use the DPOV to save herself... and then SHE would name the replacement. I'd be surprised if she names anyone but Bella. Never know though. She might choose to name Nick or Sam because they're stronger competitors for "the other side."

But nobody ever claimed most of these people are smart....

Jackie has a new post up.
