This is but a quickie report to bring y'all the news …
- In the veto meeting, Jack used his power (for what it's worth).
- If you recall, he could force a re-draw of the names chosen at random.
- So, in the initial choosing it was Cliff, Jack, Jackson plus Sam, Holly and Jessica.
- The "powerful" redraw changed the three to Sam, Analyse and Kat.
- Actually kind of worse for the Jacks -- they didn't really want Sam in the mix and Kat isn't a fan of theirs.
- Heh.
- But in the end, it didn't matter.
- Christie told Jack the only way she would use her power would be if Bella can be put up and go home … or to save herself.
- Now, technically, that could come to fruition.
- Jackson won veto.
- He's not dumb enough to not save himself.
- In that case, someone would go up. Cliff himself would do a replacement from ones he thinks are on that other side.
- Cliff counts Bella and Nick as on his side.
- So, it would be likely that the replacement chosen by Cliff would be Analyse, Holly, Christie or Tommy.
- BUT … if Christie uses her power, she could use it so that Jackson would save himself, then put up Bella.
- Hmm … Bella and Jack on the block? That's a touchy one. That move just might not get Bella out.
- We'll have to see what happens.
- The comp itself was something about maybe a jet-ski or some kind of water bike, holding a button and changing clothes.
- Something like that.
Used his almighty power, ha. |

I can’t remember does cliff know Christie has a power? If he does it would silly of him to put up either her or Tommy since he pegged them working together.
JonMD,
Yes, Cliff knows about Christie's DPOV. But so does everyone else in the house because she couldn't keep her happy mouth shut.
Actually, if Cliff put Christie on the block, it would force the DPOV out because she WOULD have to use it on herself... and then name the new nom. The idea from the Evil-8 has been for Bella to go up, but now some are starting to question if Bella is the best choice and if they should go for a stronger player... like Nick or Sam.
The people in the “Ha8ful” alliance should be aware enough to know that this is their chance to get Jack out. He’s too powerful in comps to let him hang around. Hopefully they will decide to take one for the team and get rid of him now. They’ll have to do it sooner or later. Might as well do it now. (I’ll keep my fingers crossed, I want Jack GONE!)
Ok cool thanks Sharon!! Jack needs to go before jury. This might not be good week for Sam though.
Your welcome JonMD.
Now let's see if any of them have more brains than a pi$$ant.
Actually, this power she has isn't really a DPOV. She cannot use it on herself. Her power can be assigned to the winner of the PoV -- in this case, Jackson. Then HE would remove himself and name a replacement. Christie can only use it on herself if she herself is the PoV winner. Otherwise, she can only give it to whomever is the PoV winner and they do the renom. But everyone knows of the power because she has not only a loud mouth, but a big one.
Jackie,
Thank you for clearing up how this 'power' works. There have been so many questions about what it is and how it works. Now we have the straight skinny!!
Jackie, one other question.
If Christie does hand her power over to Jackson, is it possible for him to name HER (which would suck warm buttermilk - for her), or does she still have a modicum of safety?
Hopefully she is not dumb enough to use it.Better to save it for another day.Would be a waate this week,I think.
Dang.... I just want Jack our! Now I’m hoping Christie doesn’t use it!!!
Thank you Jackie and Sharon!
Judi,
Unfortunately, I was mostly wrong about Christie's power.
I'm glad Jackie was able to clear it up for us. :)
"...she couldn't keep her happy mouth shut". That put a smile on my happy face. Good one JonMD!
You and me both Sharon.... and that’s another reason why we need Jackie to help us understand! I’m glad she cleared it up for us too... otherwise we’d really be confused! Splash.... splash....
It's still a happy weekend. Jack leaving would be like Paul leaving - the evil sheep would have no one to direct them, and they'd maybe okay like good people.
Now I find myself eager for them to step up the pace on everything! Now it’s finally turning into a real BB game! I hope Christie isn’t dumb enough to use it either Cheryl!
Interesting question Sharon!
I don't think Christie will use her power. Since Cliff wants Jack out, his best bet would be to put up Christie or Tommy as a replacement nom when Jackson takes himself off the block. Even people of the outcast group don't want Christie out and no one has been gunning for Tommy, even though they should be.
Someone started a vicious rumor (Me, just now) that the CBS Doctors have discovered that Jackson has tape worms. Everyone was curious how he could eat 200 times as much food as everyone else and not look like the blob. They have started him on medicine to kill the worms, but in order to keep Jackson from overeating, they forced him to become a have-not and put him on a Slop only diet.
David,
"Your" rumors are hysterical and I'm looking forward to a daily dose of them!!
But no pressure....
I love your rumor David!!!
Cliff promised he would Backdoor Bella let Christie keep her power for Two Weeks safety. This was after several meltdowns by Christie.
She told Cliff that Jackson was the rogue vote and blamed it on Nicole.
Can't Jackson use his power to save himself and Christie uses her power to save Jack?
Sharon - Christie isn't protected if she assigns her power to PoV winner Jackson. Then again, he wouldn't put her up anyway. He'd go for Bella.
Justene - Nope. Once Jackson uses his PoV to save himself, she can't double dip on it. And she herself can only use it if she is the regular PoV holder. She's not. She can, however, assign it to Jackson and HE can use it not only to take himself off, but to name the replacement nom.
Thank you for the answer, Jackie.
That would be a funny twist if Christie handed her power over to Jackson, and then he named her as the replacement nom... because of one their group's famous "miscommunications." :D)))
One can dream...
Cliff is lying to Christie, promising to put up Bella if she doesn't use the power. His plan is to put Christie up once Jackson saves himself. Monday is gonna be good if that plan goes through!
So,if that really happens, Jack v Christie on the block. Perfect!!!
Jack is truly the ringleader, the rest are evil sheep.
Bella isn't an evil mastermind, just a truly mean girl.
Petals - Bella is definitely rather inconsequential overall when compared to either Jack or Christie in the game. Jack and Christie can win comps and each have their minions. Christie actually might be more dangerous than Jack due to her hysterics and female following in the house. Bella's main game is running around opening her mouth and most (if not all) are onto that now. No one really trusts her with information and she's almost being shunned by all. She's certainly the lesser threat of the three.
Cliff with the power move....I love it! Hope it happens.
I can hardly wait!! If Cliff does indeed put up Christie, watch for it...the hysteria and tears (real this time) will immediately commence. Like Jackie says, Christie has her female following, so it guarantees that Jack (and his nasty ego) will depart to "nobody cares."
The best part? We won't have to watch his ugliness anymore, and nobody will have to tolerate him for several weeks in Jury. Jack is a good-looking guy, but his attitude and actions certainly bring to mind, "beauty is only skin deep."
The Evil-6 are gonna be so teed-off that Cliff lied to them....like none of them ever lie. Unfortunately, he will move up to #1 on their eviction list!
The sad part is, even tho Jack may be gone soon, so are the ones he targeted irrationally: Ovi, David & Kemi.
He did the worst damage.
Of the 3 evicted, none would come out and say/confirm what was being "fished" for in their eviction talks with Julie and the media. However, David/Ovi did talk about the issue while in Camp Comeback and it was obvious what they felt/perceived. It doesn't help that until Cliff messes up the Evil-6's plan tomorrow, their next up-n-out is also "other than..."
This all may be a big nothing-burger and too much is being made of it, but the words and actions of several HGs have been uglier than ugly. It doesn't look to internet/feed watchers, much less everyone trying to then attempt to reconcile how we all "feel."
BB needs to do a much better job with their interviews, mental evaluations, and eventual selections for the show. Right now, they are failing miserably. In a very big way. The only way to possibly alleviate the things that have been happening the last few years? Dump Grodner and the entire Casting crew!! Unfortunately (for us), it's apparent that CBS thinks they have a 'lock' on what's popular for viewers... sex, more sex, and fighting egos with big mouths.
Stepping off my Soap Box now.
NOOOOO!!!! Cliff seems to be wavering for safety. He shouldn't trust anything that side "guarantees." Jackson says he wouldn't put Cliff up for the next 2 weeks IF he wins HOH, but that doesn't mean he won't 'encourage' someone else to do it!!
It looks like Cliff talked to Nicole and they decided to take safety and get out Bella. Cliff told Nicole if Jackson had not won Veto the big move was coming.
Ughhhhhhh.... Thanks Sharon and Glenn for the update!
I knew he wouldn't follow through with that big of a move. Very disappointing.....
Jackie has a new post up.
