BB21: Live Feeds into Tuesday - August 6

In between slimings

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Falling Jacks:
  • Jess should be beating out Cliff in the popularity ratings. At least she had the cojones to follow through on nominating the Jacks.
  • True, she won the veto and Cliff didn't. However there are things he could have done and didn't. He buckled.
  • As far as the veto punishments go -- I mentioned Tommy's is a bit similar to when Paul had to run around being a secret agent. Paul was funnier. Tommy just straps these puny-sounding air horns to his wrists and goes from room to room. I would have expected more drama from him.
  • We don't get to really see what's going on with Jack and Jackson's punishments. Jack has to clean up a mess from visiting aliens as they spread their alien dust about. Jackson gets slimed while fighting an alien. Both happen during blocked feeds and we just see the aftermath.
  • The target is still Jack out this week.
  • They still are working on convincing the others that Jackson is the target.
  • Of course, anything can happen between now and Thursday.
  • But we can rest assured that either Jack or Jackson will go home this week. Well, to jury anyway. Away from us. That's all that matters.
  • According to what Cliff told Jess, when Jackson handed him his slimed jacket, it weighed about 30 pounds. Jackson has two different jackets for the role and must wash and change out each time slimed.
  • Tommy's punishment has him going at various speeds -- sound, light, smell.
  • Interesting … in his Cliff's Notes last night, Cliff mentioned how his job must be gone by now and he'll need to figure out the COBRA stuff after he gets home. Hmm. I though he would have arranged a long-term leave somehow rather than risk his job. That's why the show usually gets younger people with little to lose job-wise. Plus, he should have checked into things. It's not like you have a ton of time to decide on COBRA and you end up paying for the time you missed after your health insurance stopped. I know these things.
  • Although the Cliff's Angels plan is to let all think that Jackson's the target, Cliff went ahead and told Jackson that he'll be voting Jack out.
  • Sigh.
  • On the other hand, they're seeing how close Tommy, Christie and Jack really are.
  • While Christie seems to have many still snowed, Tommy's running from one side to the other isn't going unnoticed.
  • All in all, it was rather uneventful other than the punishments which, for the most part, we didn't see.
  • I don't expect much out of today either.
  • But that's okay -- a Jack or a Jackson, most likely the former, will be out this week!
Next after the Jacks, I say!

A normal night at home

Yet she gets all spiffed up for the live show

Thank you, Jess.

To be fair, Cliff probably thought he would be back within a couple of weeks as he would be the first one out. Hopefully his wife is being proactive.

How many hamsters are left? We don’t have CBS anymore so I haven’t been watching.

Tina - DirectTV? This week's evicted is the first jury member. Let's see … they had 16 in there -- David, Ovi, Kemi, Bella and Sam are out. So, eleven remain.

Sharon C, I was thinking the same thing...that being the "old guy," Cliff didn't expect to be there this long. But still, he should have prepared paperwork so his wife could turn it in, if necessary.

Tina, there are 11 left, but 10 after this Thursday eviction.
Jack, Jackson, Sis, Holly, Christie, Tommy, Nick, Kat, Cliff, Nicole, and Jess

Jackie, I agree.
Jess should be above Cliff. At the very least, she should be above the evicted.

Cliff in his HOH did nominate both Jack and Jackson! Then Jackson won the POV and took himself off the block. That allowed Christie to keep her power and give Cliff Two weeks safety in return for using the replacement nomination on Bella. This time Jess won the POV and kept Christie from using her power and able to keep the nominations the same.

Glenn Allen- you are correct at how things eventually went down. However, Cliff buckled to Christie that week, saying he'd put Bella on the Block in exchange for his own personal safety. It has worked out for him OK I guess, but a more "ballsy" move would have been for him to stick it to Christie and put HER up as the replacement nom.

My opinion only, Cliff's HOH week turned out exactly what the 6 shooters wanted.

agree chrob61.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen, LOL

it is nice to have the "older" person make it this far in the game. I hope Cliff continues to be in the house. Too bad he risked his job to be on the show. He is not going to like COBRA, is he Jackie?

I agree chrob1... the 6 shooters were just fine with Bella going home! Cliff had the opportunity to get one of the Jack’s out and he basically gave the 6 shooters what they wanted through Christie!

Thanks for the great updates Jackie! I’m liking Jess more. She is at least sticking to her plan!

I don't have feeds, so can't see what's happening in the house this morning.
Jack apparently plans on trying and blow up Kat's game today, and offer Cliff "a deal he can't refuse." Hopefully, none of the "outsiders" will fall for Jack's desperation tactics. Cliff will lose any credibility he's gained if he goes for Jack's offer.

agree Sharon.
What's so funny is that Jack is in NO POSITION to make any deals of safety. Who does he think he is??

Sharon N said...

Petals,
Well, I'd say Jack is the guy who "thinks" he can still work deals to stay. Unfortunately, we don't have a clue what Cliff will do because he did want that safety before. I do expect Nick to vote Jack out because he has delusions of being the new king. Like Christie or Tommy would really let him have that title. @@

Since I don't have the feeds, I can't help wondering if the blowup has already happened. Although I don't expect a post from Jackie until show-time tonight, I did expect to see something from Hamsterwatch and Jokers, but nothing has been posted all morning.

Well, guess Jack's big blackmail scheme hasn't happened yet.
Whatever. I hope it fails and he goes out with a whimper.
