I got all choked up. What a nice person she is.
I'm very grateful that situations between contestants on BB (and Survivor) have brought to light beliefs and assumptions that need to be challenged, and I appreciate my growth as a person because of it.

I love that Claire and Julie are Christian, and proud of it!

That was a good interview. I think people sometimes dismiss Julie in that aspect. It was a good piece and Claire is enlightened enough to know that her experience is not the same as others and understand that and at the end of day we all bleed the same and I wish the world would get that more often as well as five million other things that effect us all. I’ll get off my broken soap box now lol

Honestly, I think everyone "gets it". No one is going to say they are mad about the "mission" of the Cookout. Sure, they will be salty about being tools ie tongs, spatula, meat thermometer, etc; but ultimately who CANNOT be excited about his unprecedented BB season?
That said (typed), Now the CO are fractured and it's boy v girl, the same ol, same ol.
CBS may never be able to fix a game so that every single player is on an even playing field, because LIFE isn't that way. It's a struggle for all of us.
Life is not even. We don't all get the same shots.

GO X

Petals - I wish it were true that everyone "gets it". I was on my way to my car and greeted a neighbor who was sitting on her porch with a friend of hers. By way of introduction my neighbor said "She watches Big Brother too". The friend launched into a tizzy about "reverse discrimination", CBS did this and that on purpose and so on and so forth. Frankly, I was shocked, there's just so much wrong with using the term "reverse discrimination" in the first place, never mind all the other stuff. I smiled, disagreed, stated how delighted I was that it turned out this way, and blamed "having an appointment" as a way to get the heck out of there. I felt almost like I was in a 2020 Presidential election disagreement setting...Yikes.
