Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds HOH Bulletin - September 1

The live feeds returned after the HOH comp was over. They did not play it out on the feeds. But they do talk.

MICHAEL won the HOH comp. That makes the week a bit predictable.

Thank you Jackie!

The strongest players remaining for Michael to consider putting OTB are Monte and Turner. Bets anyone?

I have a question. Is this the first time in BB history that truthful discussion trumped game play “truth”? I know there was still game play involved, but it seemed more honest to me.

Anon, most house meetings are people screaming... with truth not entering the equation.

Despite the tears, etc., this was the calmest House Meeting I've ever seen on BB. IMO, a good discussion. No matter who's doing the talking, it's a study on how words (even unintentional) can be damaging. The saying, "walk a mile in my shoes" comes to mind.

I'm not quite understanding that question, Anon. I think what happened went beyond the game.

Sharon - Monte thinks he will put up the two remaining non-Leftovers -- Alyssa and Terrance. It would be smarter for him to go after Monte and Turner as they have both won comps. But I don't think he will. I could be wrong.

Jackie,
I was thinking the same thing... Monte and Turner.
If Michael gets wind that Terrance plans to do his utmost to sour the jury, his choices for "last in" will no doubt be affected.

IMO, Terrance seems to carry a lot of... bitterness. Even beyond game.
He's so ticked at Michael and Brittnay that Taylor has most likely slipped completely off his radar.

Sharon, great explanation. I think Brike's target is Turner. It'll be a backdoor. But turner will know.

I agree.

Petals, it makes sense for him to target Turner.
MO, he's far more adept/dangerous on comps than Monte.
Call me crazy, but I also get an odd impression that he may have some photographic memory ability.

It was a crucial win for Michael this week as any going forward will be because they all know they are just playing for second against him at this point. If Terrance is saying that type of stuff about poisening the jury then that’s just being bitter party of one plus blackmail. Nominations should be interesting cause he will either stick to the getting Terrance and Alyssa route or make a move against Monte and Turner. Either way he goes he is alone in this game at this point on and it’s all on him.

Well Jon he does have Brittany.,lol oh right he can't depend on her to win jack .If he does make it to the end he definitely deserves to win. I'm pulling for Turner or Taylor to win it all or even Monte since my pool boy Joseph is gone

Joe in NY said...

Michael and Brittany are the two villains in this game. What they did was unconscionable. What they did was far worse than what Kyle did. And what they did had NO MORAL COMPONENT TO IT. It was all about strategy.

Kyle was paranoid about a BIPOC alliance. Kyle also didn't do anything to form a "white person's alliance" and actually, prior to Britt/Mike's actions had an alliance with Terrence and Monte.

Was there an element of bias in Kyle's talk with Michael and Brittany? Yes. But Michael/Brittany could have simply discussed it privately with Kyle and left it at that. Instead, THEY VICTIMIZED the POC in the house by exposing what Kyle had said and creating all the drama. And they didn't do it to purge the evil in the house. They did it strictly for game reasons.

So, the hell with the two of them. They can't get to jury fast enough. And if anyone should be canceled in life, it should be them.

I don't understand why what Kyle said was so horrible. The POC did gang up on the white people last time and they were highly praised for doing so. It is not unreasonable to consider that that might again occur. I think what they did/said to Kyle was reverse discrimination/racism and it happens too often. People are afraid to confront that situation.

Thank goodness for posters like Joe in NY....What he explains is exactly correct, and the following poster as well. Michael and Brittany were wrong and should be gone. Lets be fair about all of this.

It's a game. Or maybe you have never watched Big Brother before.

Anonymous said...

Annon S, it was horrible because he assumed something that was not taking place. Terrence never liked Taylor, Jasmine also. The POC were targeting each other so why would he just assume they were gonna "gang" up and put the white people out? In real lief people like that call police on POC because they assume the POC is doing something. That happens all the time. I can give Brikey some slack because I'm sure they didn't want this to happen but given how Kyle did Joseph prob convinced them Kyle was worse than they initially thought. No way will I say the person/people exposing bad behavior is worse than the person committing the bad behavior, thats ludicrous and downplaying what happened Joe in NY

He had a right to assume anything he wanted. As was said before - it's just a game.

Hey, folks ... we don't need a racial issue here in the comments section. There are the CBS BB chat rooms for that.

She warned him and he still went after Joseph, why didn't he go after Turner?

Oh, honey - I love what you wrote. I've never seen you so heated (in a BB post).

What made last season, the Cookout Season, so unique was that they befriended, blended, socialized with the other HGs. They made it friendly and game-oriented. It was perfection, IMO.

I really want Turner to kick-it into high gear. I know he's a fan, and I know he is agile & clever. He may be holding back, but I hope he'll turn it on & win the veto!

Thank you, Jackie. xoxo

PS Can the Anons somehow identify themselves? Like "Anon J" or Anon X"??? Otherwise, no one can comment to you, b/c you're in the shade.
Thanks.

For many people, the Cookout Season was disgusting and turned a lot of people off of watching. Had the white people tried that, it would have been an entirely different story. It is a double standard.

With Daniel and Nicole gone, I am pulling for Turner. He is quirky and very interesting.

For purposes of the game - the viewing public don't have behind-the-scenes knowledge of many of the conversations. And even within this small group people still see things differently. To me it feels like the producers have perhaps even perpetuated the racial undertones - but maybe they are coaching some answers to help everyone learn a little something from the fall out. Some of the discussion and conversations seemed more insightful than I expected from the younger players. Just an observation.

Did Kyle EVER push the idea to do it. No. Did Kyle ever say let’s form an “all white alliance”, no. To me it was just an idea/thought he shared as a game strategy at the moment/situation happening. They all, this season and all previous have used past shows GAME PLAY experience to win the game. The real world is what it is and we all have our own stuff. This country would be a better place if we all loved more and judged less. But the big brother house is NOT the real world and everyone should be able to play the game without being labeled. I agree 100% with Joe. Michael and Britney made a strategic suggestion from Kyle into something ugly when it was beneficial to them. Again a strategic game move. But if Kyle is going to be condemned for it outside the house so should they.
