Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Sleeping in Squirrels:
- Welp, the question of whether Monte thinks he needs to keep Turner has been answered.
- Yes, he thinks he does need to keep him.
- All summer these hamsters have been up most of the night and have slept late.
- Not last night.
- Oh, they were up fairly late.
- But BB woke them up early in the morning for the veto comp.
- One person slept a bit more and dawdled.
- Uh-oh, Monte! You're late to veto and cannot play.
- Say what?
- You heard me. Monte, the HOH, was eliminated from playing in the veto comp during his own reign.
- I don't know what it was or how it could happen, but Brittany won the Power of Veto.
- With Brittany and Alyssa on the block, this certainly throws everything awry.
- The plan was that Brittany would go to jury.
- If Brittany is saved (which she will surely save herself), Alyssa will go home.
- The renom can only be either Taylor or Turner.
- Monte doesn't want either of them to go up.
- Alyssa knows she will go home and is crying.
- Monte wants to keep Turner because he needs him to protect him (Monte) next week.
- So, the renom will (most likely) be Taylor with Alyssa being voted out.
- Lots of hurt feelings going around.
- And there you go ...

Somehow, if Turner wins the next HOH, I doubt he will want to keep Monte. But who knows. I would be content if any combo of Turner/Monte/Taylor is in the F2. Just have to hope Brittany isn't able to work herself into that chair!
OMG. As someone who is always on time (aka early) I do like it when people are held accountable for being tardy but this will be interesting to see how it happened!

Also if Brittany has been taking it easy on challenges and she manages to somehow win-out I could see her winning the whole thing. I liked her bio at the beginning but she never made much of an impression ….maybe until now.

BB woke everyone up and gave them "2 minutes" to get out to the comp area. Four of them raced to get there on time, but Monte decided he had time to go to the bathroom and put in his contacts... pretty much screams "don't care if I play." lol
What the flippin duece lol ok let’s put a pin in Brittany winning for a moment and get to what the heck was up with Monte lol I think this would be maybe the first time ever something like this has happened? Jackie I defer to you lol How could you miss a comp so crucial, let alone any!! I can’t wait to see this Wednesday!!! Ok I really want Turner to stay but if his fool butt doesn’t take the shot agsinst him then that’s on him big time lol I was so counting on a Brittany exit this week, if he puts up Taylor I’m afraid she might go. Well here is why we love our BB when it all goes shenanigans lol
I also have a feeling Taylor will go. I think Brittany will vote her out because she thinks she has a better chance to beat Alyssa and I don’t see Turner voting Alyssa out. I really hope I’m wrong because I don’t feel like Alyssa deserves to be in Final 4. Heck I don’t think she even deserves to be in Final 5.

Did Monte not learn anything, if he doesn't put Turner up as the renom well then he will deserve to go next week. All that matters best week is the veto and he's stands a better chance at winning it if Turner is not playing ..lol
Guessing last night's veto was a game of luck for Brit to win.
If it comes down to a tie vote, Monte has told Taylor that he plans to keep her, but it's out if his hands if Turner and Brittnay vote her out.
I do hope Brittnay doesn't become the Dark Horse that comes on strong at the end! There isn't much to cheer for when it comes to her.
Personally I think this turn of events is hilarious. I think it was Petals awhile back that stated in the comments that she didn't want a boring predictable end to this season with Michael going all the way. Well, here we are, Michael is long gone, Brittany won the POV, Monte was disqualified from the event, the house is in turmoil and a bunch of panties everywhere are in a bunch.
So for at least a few days HGs will actually have to talk real game with Brittany rather than calling her a liar and etc behind her back.
First of all....everybody in every single season lies at some point, get over it. Second, let's face it, since the day The Pound was formed the guys pretty much assumed they would sail to the end, pick off all the women, all the Others, and Kyle, Turner, Monte and Joseph would be F4. Hmmm. How'd that work out boys?
I picture Taylor influencing Monte to put Turner on the block next to Alyssa. If that happens I feel pretty sure Brittany and Taylor will vote him out. Let's see, that leaves Brittany, Alyssa, Taylor and Monte, and Monte can't play the next HOH?
Hilarious. And three women as F3? Jackie has that happened ever in the history of BB?
Jackie, Monty or any other BB savants: Has this EVER happened before? When an HOH is late to a comp and is summarily eliminated??

Monte really wants Turner to stay, and truthfully, that might be his best bet now. Of course, that's not saying Turner wouldn't try to get Monte out next.

I think it will be Michael 2.0 if Monte keeps Turner safe this week. If he does do that then next week Turner will take out Monte. To not take a shot at your strongest competition this late in the game then you deserve to get booted. Monte isn't thinking straight. He's obsessed with taking out Brittany because he finds her annoying. The time to take out annoying players, like say Daniel, Nicole, or Jasmine, is long past. Now is the time to take out anybody who could win HOH or POV over you.
Regarding Monte not being allowed to play in POV because he could not show up on time.... It's my understanding that Taylor showed up without underwear and Brittany showed up with her shoes still in her hands. So I ain't got any sympathy for Monte.
Lili - If memory serves, the final three being women was only BB6 -- Maggie, Ivette and Janelle.
Petals - I don't think I would call it "production manipulation" but no. As far as I can recall, they never scared them awake with a time period to report for a comp. It would fall under the "expect the unexpected."
Lili - Thinking back, BB6 final FOUR was women. April went out just before Janelle.
I wonder how many times Monte kick his own butt after being late. Oh well. Maybe the girls should have created a female alliance. Now they know that...sooooooooo....
Thank you Jackie. Considering how extraordinarily rare having multiple women is at the end, I'm not mad about the possibility that we could have that this season. Of course it's most likely that Alyssa will be going this week, Monte or Brittany next, so we probably will have one man, two women in the final, not three women.
Here's the thing, we all have our own metric for what we consider being deserving of sitting in F2. Comps, strategy, alliances, social skills, whatever. Some folks are EvelDick fans (to be clear I am most definitely not), some are Janelle fans, (me), some people think Dr Will is the best player ever. With rare exception the winners are almost always white and male. And almost always no matter how they got to the end they usually turn on the people who helped them get there. And more than a few times the person sitting in the second seat is an unwitting pawn. Meanwhile jurors are all over the map for how they vote.
I guess my point is that seldom do these seasons turn out how many of us would wish. The people we liked left long before the end, we are mad at one of the F2, we are snarky about the second F2. And so forth. And long before it's time to buy Halloween candy, the season and it's winners and losers are the faintest of memories.
So none of it matters a whit except as entertainment. Well, to me, at this point, I would be highly entertained if Monte boots Turner, who objectively is his biggest competition. And next week Taylor boots Monte for the same reason. And Taylor wins the season sitting next to a F2 pawn which everyone out here will be duly snarky about. Of course that is a very unlikely scenario. The likely scenario is Turner wins. Which feels pretty as per usual to those of us who've watched this show long enough to be fans of Janelle.
Lili - I've watched from season 1, and am a HUGE fan of Queen Janelle & King Kaysar. The Sovereign Six, from S6&7.
I do tend to follow certain favorite HGs long after their respective season (no, not Dick!).
That's just how I roll.

Monte absolutely needed to keep Turner this week. He can’t play HoH next time and the girls would 100% put Monte up and vote him out. With Turner Monte at least has a shot at staying. If Turner doesn’t put him up that is. But if Turner is gone this week, Monte would be gone the next unless he could win veto. Monte has a better chance of staying keeping Turner for now.
I am a fan since the first season. Simply put....I hope its Turner for the win.
He always gives 100% and he is not mean...silly...yes...but a nice person.
