Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds Monday, Veto Meeting - Sept. 5

Prelude to a nap?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Whirling Dervishes:

  • As you know, Michael won the HOH and is also the winner of the Power of Veto.
  • This time, there is no backdoor target.
  • The target is on the block.
  • His name is Terrance.
  • Yet Terrance seems to be in a state of suspended disbelief.
  • In conversations with Monte, Turner and even one with Michael, he is acting like he's staying.
  • Perhaps he uses that same suspended disbelief in thinking he's a cool cat. I don't know.
  • Of course, Michael did NOT use the veto to save anyone.
  • Terrance and Alyssa remain on the block.
  • Although Terrance is the target, there was some talk floating around with Monte and Turner about possibly keeping him and ousting Alyssa instead.
  • I doubt it will happen.
  • As time went on, Terrance turned to thinking he was sure to be evicted.
  • That's probably more real.
  • He's has become a bitter nominee, soon to be a bitter juror.
  • Tyrner and Monte talked about how Taylor and Brittany were saying Michael will have to go if anyone else wants to win.
  • Turner ran to Michael to tell him of that conversation.
  • Turner proposed a weekly trade-off of HOH wins.
  • Um, sure Michael will go for that! No.
  • Brittany thinks that, if Terrance were to stay, he would win HOH in a double eviction.
  • No, they don't know the double eviction is coming this week.
  • They just know there will be one before the season ends on the 25th.
  • The feeds shut down with adoptable animals for hours this evening.
  • I'm assuming it's because of a Labor Day feast and they will probably have music.
  • I hope everybody had a great Labor Day Weekend!

Thinking he needs a nap

No napping in the water, please!

Nap nap nap

And nap some more

I mean I love that they still throw in a token “older player” now and then (and in BB that’s almost like they use Dog year math because someone over 30 to them can be considered a senior citizen lol) each season but why do they mostly happen to be lame like Terrance (I’m sure he has his fans though) the only thing to me he has brought to the game was the drama rama when he was the HOH that one week and now his I’ll get you my pretty and your little dog too bitterness and that’s it. Where are the Chicken George’s, the Jack’s, the “Renny’s”, the Tiffany’s, heck I’ll even throw in a Sheila from the flippin winter edition that time lol im sure im forgetting some other cool “older” good ones as well (I’m OLD lol) but give us some stand out personality’s people or someone who knows how to play the game and could pawn those young fools like a chess piece lol and again this is JMO. Hope you are feeling good Jackie!!! And everyone had a safe and fun weekend!!!

Thank you Jackie
G'morning Jon!

I don't remember the US Open happening during BB. Maybe the early rounds, heck...I can't remember. but the matches are far more interesting than the feeds or the show (to me, this season). At least with tennis, there are major upsets!

But I love this place !!! I can't believe tomorrow is Wednesday...

Have a great day, everyone xoxo

Was Evil Dick considered old? He was a good entertaining player.

Yes, Evel Dick was considered old. But he was so unconventional that he didn't quite have the stigma other "older" players have.

This is Grove, not sure how to go beyond Anonymous on my comment: I agree about choosing better “old” (hahah, I’m 64!) contestants. There are folks my age, and older, who are fit, smart, funny, etc. They’d fare much better on BB comps. You’re more apt to find them on Survivor seasons.

Anon - Grove,
In the "choose the identity" area below, you can click Name/URL and just give yourself a name (to post). However, that is temporary and will only work for that one post.
.... Or
If you have a Google account, you can click "Google Account" and sign in there (with your google email and password). It's been a few years, so I've forgotten the rest... but [I think] that area will give you the opportunity to give yourself a name (aka Grove). Oh, and you'll stay logged into Jackie's blog with this option.

Grove? As in the Grove I know? Is that you? If you have to sign in as Anon, just end it with -- Grove. Good to "see" you!

Grove - You never signed in as Grove to comment here. I may be spelling it wrong, but you were ALB Glinka (or similar).

Haven’t commented in awhile! I’ve been a lurker, but one who reads every update, plus comments. I used to comment occasionally… Thanks Sharon N.— I’m going to try this now…

Lurker alert! Lurker alert! Lol, just kidding Grove/ Glink/Fred. Happy to see you return from the loft

hmmmm.... "Grove/ Glink/Fred"
The Fred part makes me wonder if this might be "2 Aces"... ???

Jackie S. said...

No, it's not. I have no idea where the "Fred" came from. I know Grove ... you probably do, too. He posted in comments here for quite a few years as ALB Glinka.

Thanks Jackie, I was curious when I saw the Fred.

Hahaha, I have more former identities than there are failed alliances in BB! It’s true I’ve been AlbGlinka… never have been a Fred. Signing onto this blog thru a Google account seems to mess up a few other browsers I have, one of which is a newish work one that uses Google. So for now I’ll stay Anonymous and sign my name as Grove. :-).
