Big Brother 16: Nominations and Battle of the Block Show Blog Party - July 13
Are you READY? It's nominations. It's Battle of the Block. It's Big Brother. And, this is our party as we watch the show East Coast time. As it airs here, I'll update this post with the major happenings. Refresh the post to get the latest news!
Where's the party? It's in the comments area ... come join in!
After the PaoPao eviction, Devin starts exposing the Bomb Squad to all. Silly dude. Christine told her personal ally Nicole about it, fearing that she'd hear it from someone else.
The HoH room reveal. You know how that goes.
After a long discussion about nominees (they have more they don't want to put up), it's decided that Derrick will put up Caleb and Jocasta, Nicole will put up Amber because Amber nominated her. Caleb can "save" Amber as the target is to get Devin up there after PoV. Nicole is undecided on her second nominee.
Caleb is willing to go up, throw the comp to save Amber and to have Derrick remain HoH.
Nicole tells Donny of her dilemma and the plan to oust Devin with the backdoor. Donny blabs the Caleb throw plan to Jocasta and Brittany. Amber overheard it and runs to Nicole and Christine. After telling Nicole earlier she shouldn't trust Christine, now Nicole needs to not trust Donny!
Nominations time - Nicole is upset. Nicole nominates Amber, then Donny. Adore Donny, given information last second which influences decision. Derrick nominates Jocasta and Caleb. She's a floater by rumor, prove she's not. Caleb volunteered.
Devin knows it's a backdoor plan. Donny is upset, not realizing his spreading the news about Caleb is why he got the nomination.
Team America's first mission "get three other hg to spread the rumor that one hg is related to a previous one." They have four days. They decide to rumor that Zach is Amanda's cousin. Donny suggested to try with the dumbest first -- Caleb.
Donny and Nicole made up. Donny told her she never told him NOT to tell about the Caleb thing. They agree to work together. This time she tells him not to tell anyone.
BotB - Frog Wars. Fly to retrieve pieces, assemble puzzle.
Donny and Amber win (of course). Nicole is dethroned. Derrick is the sole HoH. They made Nicole disappear on screen and are using it as a cliffhanger.

Jocasta is feeling a bit better |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Sealed Fates:
- Amber trusts Frankie more than she does her love puppet boy Caleb.
- Donny has confirmed with Frankie and others that he will use the veto to save Jocasta.
- While Da Boyz would prefer Caleb not remain on the block when Devin goes up, it is what it is (as they say way too often in the house).
- Devin is still going to go home, no matter who Donny saves with the veto.
- On the Team America front, Frankie thinks that they should tell Devin the rumor that Zach is Amanda's cousin because he'd probably take off with it and spread it all over the house.
- Donny said he'd be happy with Caleb/Devin on the block since they nominated him the first week.
- Knowing that Donny confirmed to him he'd save Jocasta with the veto, Frankie went to Amber and told her that Donny said he may not use it.
- Heh.
- Little pot-stirrer!
- Nicole told Hayden, Christine and Victoria that Donny told her that Zach is related to Amanda from last season. She thinks it's some sort of twist and told them not to repeat it.
- Zach took Frankie for a ride telling him that the house will probably go for voting out Caleb.
- Heh.
- Caleb thinks he looks like a stud because he saved Amber.
- @@
- Derrick got wind of what Zach's been saying about voting out Caleb instead of Devin and warned him not to. He reminded Zach that he (Zach) is one of Devin's main targets while Caleb isn't interested in getting Zach. At least not in the immediately foreseeable future.
- They're all worried about all the down time they're facing. With only the PoV ceremony tomorrow (I think), they have nothing to do until Thursday.
- At one point, Caleb asked Derrick, Cody and Zach, "Any hunters here?"
- Crickets.
- And not Donny cricket noises.
- After all said they weren't hunters, Caleb launched into a long story about getting dressed and prepared to face a cold pre-dawn morning hunting.
- Why?
- All because he thinks Amber is wrong to go to bed in the Have Not room all dressed up warmly -- if she wakes up cold in the night, she has nothing else to put on.
- Of course, she could cuddle with Caleb!
- Cough.
- Da Boyz are irked at Frankie for planting the seeds that Donny might not use the veto. They say if it's Jocasta and Caleb remaining on the block, they probably should vote out Caleb even though he's a number on their side.
- All in all, I'm pretty sure Donny will save his friend Jocasta.
- Devin up.
- Devin gone.

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - July 13, 2013
Good morning! Welcome to my weekly off television topic reflection on the week gone by in both words and photos I've taken along the way. If you're looking for the latest Big Brother show or live feeds posts, you can find them right here at this link. This here is a weekly post I make year-round; you can peruse it or skip by it if you wish.
About the biggest thing this week here is about next week. My landlord's exterminator is going to be fogging most of the building next week. I'm sorry ... but (a) I haven't seen a cockroach in the past ten years or so, (b) they already treat the apartment once a month and were just here last week, (c) I really don't want to have to spend weeks bleaching or otherwise cleaning that poisonous residue off of all the surfaces in the place, (d) I don't want to take chances with my own health or Vincent's health with dangerous poison in here, (e) I don't have a bug problem, neither do my immediate neighbors with whom I've talked, (f) I can't board Vincent on such short notice, nor can I take him to work (g) if I have to pack up all of my worldly belongings in plastic bags, I might as well just MOVE as my lease renewal is September 1. Part of the reason I'm not moving is because I hate to pack everything up!
I got the notice Thursday evening and the fogging is planned for Tuesday. With my work schedule, there isn't even enough time in the day for all of this even if I don't sleep for three days! So, I called the office to tell them I wouldn't be able to have the apartment ready for Tuesday. They told me it's fine to refuse the service and they'd note it with the exterminator not to do my apartment, no problem. Yay! I plan on putting Vincent and his stuff in my bedroom with a towel under the door to keep any fumes out if they spray the hallway common area. I'll leave a "NO FOGGING" note on the door referring them to the office and I'll call the office to remind them.
I personally doubt it will happen (I don't think this wing of the building has any infestation issues), but if my apartment is buggy after they do the fogging elsewhere, I will deal with it. The bait traps they sell for cockroaches work better than the silly spray they spray my place with every month anyway. I honestly think the exterminating company, a new replacement of the old one, is looking at the building as a cash cow and trying to milk the landlord for more money. If the building had such an issue with roaches, I think I would have seen a few in the past decade. I guess I'll find out! But, if the bugs do come in here, I'll take care of it without dangerous poison residue all over everything. I worry about the sick and elderly people here, as well as the cat down on the first floor. I think this is all very unnecessary.
Anyhow ... onto the photos for the week --

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds into Saturday evening and PoV - July 12
![]() |
Guess who was drawn to play PoV? |
Quite the eventful day in the House of Hamtserality:
- Jocasta, who still has to play for the PoV as she remains on the block with Caleb, is sicker than a dog.
- Huh. Where did that expression come from? It's CATS who um ... regurgitate so much, not dogs.
- Anyway ... she's very sick.
- Derrick is worried that someone might win the PoV and not use it. That would blow the Backdoor Devin Plan.
- Donny, whose buddy PaoPao went away this week and his other buddy Jocasta is on the block, was relieved when Hayden told him the plan is still Devin up, Devin go home.
- Although blocked to the live feeds, we find out the picks for PoV players.
- We're special like that.
- Christine, Donny and DEVIN were drawn from the bag.
- Devin?
- Oh, noes! Say it ain't SO!
- Derrick and Caleb think that Devin would use the veto to save Jocasta if he wins it.
- And, if he wins it, as the veto holder, he cannot be nominated.
- Cody was picked to host the comp.
- Then it all went down, blocked to the feeds once again.
- But, remember, we're special snowflakes. We find out what happens!
- DONNY WON THE POWER OF VETO ... AGAIN!
- Although Derrick would like him to take Caleb off, Donny wants to take Jocasta off the block.
- No real difference -- Devin up, Devin go home.
- Derrick and Nicole talked about how Devin is not only unpredictable, he can be a brute in comps. What comps he hasn't won, he's been close to winning.
- Meanwhile, Caleb hasn't had a good showing since the very first HoH.
- Hmm. Derrick really would prefer Donny take Caleb off the block. He told Donny that "America wouldn't like him if he went against his wishes."
- Derrick, cut that out! You're better than that!
- When Derrick told Donny that Jocasta was his ally, Donny said she was his FRIEND.
- Caleb told Donny that if he didn't use the veto to save Jocasta, she would go home and he (Donny) would be targeted next.
- Testosterone much, boys?
- Sheesh. Pick on Donny, will ya.
- But ... Derrick is noticing how smart Donny is. He (Derrick) figured out something in the PoV, but for some reason couldn't or didn't need to do it, told Donny once (backwards?) how to do it and Donny snagged it right away.
- They said Devin was trying to cheat.
- The Have Nots were chosen. Going by the old Bomb Squad volunteers -- it's Devin and Caleb, with Christine and Amber.
- But wait ... Hayden volunteered to go in Christine's place because she would have health issues with the food.
- But wait ... Devin claims he didn't volunteer. Derrick is going to check out whether he can keep him a Have Not or not.
- The food chosen by America is some kind of tripe tortilla stuff. Innards, y'know. It does a body good!
- Frankie thinks Devin is freaking out with paranoia yelling at everyone. Derrick and Nicole reassured him Devin will be the replacement nominee and the overall house wants him out.
- Donny is worried that people are starting to think of him as a threat.
- He is right to be worried. Too late to do anything about it, though.
- Hayden wore high heels while doing the dishes.
- Now, he's whack, too. But he's more of a fun whack than Devin is.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Friday night into Saturday - July 12
![]() |
Rivet-rivet |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Rapscallion Rodents:
- As per the bulletin I posted last night you already know that Caleb and Jocasta remain on the block, Derrick remains the sole HoH and Nicole (the ousted HoH) has to wear a frog costume. Donny and Amber are off the block and safe. So far, the backdoor plan seems to be working through its first step. Oh, yeah. It's the Backdoor Devin Plan.
- Derrick told Caleb NOT to go around telling people he threw the comp.
- So, Caleb has insinuated it a few times.
- @@
- Silly boy. What he doesn't realize is that, if the Backdoor Devin Plan falls through, he's (Caleb) going home.
- He thinks it would be Jocasta leaving.
- Silly boy.
- Derrick told Cody that if he draws Houseguest's Choice for the PoV, he's going to pick him.
- No surprises there.
- On a bit of a side note -- I'm getting to like Hayden more and more each day. I find that surprising as he's a recruit who's not a real fan of the show. But he's coming across as a really nice guy and definitely not as goofy as portrayed. He's quite smart and good with people.
- Back to the regularly scheduled house happenings ...
- It seems like there's a lot of trust issues going on in the house.
- Alas, many have to do with Donny.
- Oh noes!
- Derrick doesn't really trust him (outside of the Team America thing). Brittany doesn't trust him. Frankie is worried about him.
- Then again, few really trust Frankie these days. They're onto him.
- Derick says that Caleb didn't throw the comp.
- Yeah, right.
- Derrick thinks it should be Caleb coming off the block with the PoV just in case the house flips.
- But I can't see them NOT evicting Devin if they can get him up there with no comp to save himself.
- If it's Jocasta and Caleb remaining on the block Thursday, it's Caleb who will be evicted.
- Uh-oh. I'm repeating myself. It's because they keep repeating themselves! Oy!
- Derrick is playing head games trying to figure people out.
- Nicole told him that Brittany does trust him. So he goes to Brittany and told her that Nicole told him she doesn't trust him.
- Whether for reaction purposes or to see if she runs to Nicole, I don't know.
- She knew he was lying and told Nicole.
- Victoria thinks Donny is going around lying about her being in an alliance.
- Oh, no! It's a SPOOL OF LIES! (Re: Howie BB6)
- Supposedly Jocasta, Brittany and Frankie have medical issues which preclude them from being good candidates to be chosen for Have Nots (if they pick again).
- Hey, I know that with the old Bomb Squad rules, it would be Devin and Caleb volunteering this week!
- Victoria thinks the Diary Room loves her. @@
- Cody and Zach want to make a final four deal with Christine and Nicole.
- Hey! What about their buddy Derrick? Or Hayden? Christine and Nicole are both in with Hayden!
- Frankie thinks that Devin is in some sort of weird make peace with the world before I die kind of phase.
- Yep, that would describe it.
- Devin still calls everybody, male or female, "dude." He needs to stop that. it's annoying. I know someone who calls every guy "brother." I find that annoying, too. People have names. Call them by name or don't call them anything. Cousin bugs me, too. I'm weird that way, I guess.
- Brittany went to Cody and told him that someone is spreading rumors that Derrick wants to put her on the block.
- She's worried that Caleb is trying to convince him to put her up in his place.
- Nicole is worried that America will hate her for putting Donny on the block.
- Yup, I've been seeing some reaction to that point. However, I knew the plan would be all along that he's safe.
- I still like Nicole. I doubt she'll win. But I do like her anyways.
- Cody thinks Amber is flirting with him for her own game purposes.
- Y'think?
- Team America decided they would spread the rumor that Zach is Amanda's cousin and it's another twist in the game.
- Lame, I say.
- But I'm all aboard for them earning five grand each for succeeding. They have to get three people to tell others and it works on a point basis for each one who spreads the rumor.
- Yawn.
- Eek! They heard gunshots in the distance while in the yard, a police helicopter, police PA calls ... and then BB demanded an indoor lockdown.
- Cody and Derrick talked about how Brittany shows up everywhere. Is she playing an Andy game?
- Derrick, most likely for the purpose of his own game, would prefer Caleb stay this week. He really wants Devin out, but now is worried about the ramifications if Caleb goes as a second choice.
- Derrick thinks Donny grew his beard just for BB. Although fish cut the feeds when he was talking about it, Donny didn't have the long beard when he saw him at the airport for interviews. I'd say he had to have some kind of beard even if it was early in the casting process. You can't grow that thing in a month!
- If Devin wins PoV, Cody and Derrick are thinking of putting Victoria on the block. Brittany's name was also tossed around a bit.
- Derrick was talking about his "past" with Frankie. He pretty much said that BB probably chose him because he made bad choices as a youth, in trouble with the law and straightened his life out with his wife and baby ... and the job in parks and recreation. He went on about all of his duties in the parks and rec job. Then he said, "I'm an undercover detective."
- Heh.
- Frankie bought the whole park and recs thing, the juvenile delinquent stuff, hook, line and sinker.
- Frankie told Derrick he's actually playing to build schools for underprivileged kids, but not to tell anyone.
- I don't think Derrick quite bought that story as well.
- Cody's psoriasis is acting up. Oh, the heartbreak!
- That's about it.
- For now.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Friday daytime/Nominations - July 11

Devin asks to host a comp |
Sheesh! They're already confusing me with the new schedule of stuff in the house! Instead of evening nominations, they had them early in the day. And, tonight will be the Battle of the Block comp. Here's a brief rundown of the happenings:
- The plan is still to backdoor Devin. If he doesn't play for or win PoV, he's a goner.
- And he knows it.
- Nicole put up Amber and Donny.
- Derrick put up Caleb and Jocasta.
- They're depending on the odds in that Devin won't be chosen to play PoV.
- Whomever (in the whole house except Devin) will save someone, anyone and Devin will go up and out.
- Caleb volunteered to go on the block and said he'd throw it to "save Amber."
- Of course, some of the best laid plans of mice and men ...
- Donny is upset.
- Derrick did keep his promise -- HE didn't put Donny on the block!
- The reasoning behind the noms is that Jocasta never talked much with Derrick and Caleb, well, you know. With Nicoles's noms, Amber put her on the block and Donny repeated some confidential stuff to Jocasta.
- Weak there.
- Nicole feels terrible about put Donny up even though they know he's safe.
- If Devin doesn't get up on the block after PoV, Caleb is second choice to go, Amber third. They can't all be safe!
- Both Derrick and Nicole realize that Donny IS playing the game and will end up having to go.
- But not this week.
- Although I find Donny a hoot, if I were in the house, no way would I want him at the end with me!
- Team America's first mission is to convince people that someone in the house is related to a past hamster.
- Yawn.
- Bigger fish to fry this week!
- I'll be back later if I can wait out the BotB. I have no clue when it's going down although it's been fish for a while now.
- I hope they keep it fish with the theme song instead of interviews or the recent "best of" stuff. With this I can nap and leave the music on -- the voices upon feeds return awaken me. When it's all talk, I can't nap!
- Gah. They just went to the "best of" reel from this season. I can't nap. But the good news is that the comp must be on!

Frankie eats a special sandwich |
Hey ... wanna see my HoH Room? Nope, you can't! I want to be Queen of the Nest and no one can come in!
Ahem.
That would be me, but not a BB hamster. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Devin is in BIG Trouble:
- Obviously, they all want Devin out. The problem is ... how are they going to do it?
- If they have a choice with the Have Nots, Devin will be one as they think the lack of food will hurt his game. The guy eats a lot and has already blamed different foods/eating habits for affecting his game.
- Amber told Jocasta that she doesn't and won't trust Devin anymore.
- Well, duh.
- We know he can turn on a dime.
- Devin, for his part, has been going around apologizing to people and knows that his time in the house isn't going to earn him the half-million.
- He reacts to things better in danger than he does in power.
- Derrick told Cody he wants to go to the end with him.
- Although Derrick had told Caleb he wouldn't put him up, Caleb said he should put him or another alliance member up to throw the comp, better to backdoor Devin.
- Hmm ... sounds like a Devin plan.
- Can you say PaoPao?
- When talking about crying in the game, Donny said, "I jerked a tear the second day. I jerked another tear a few days later. Now I could shoot a dog and not care."
- There was no crying as the letters were read in the HoH room.
- Derrick got his sushi.
- At midnight, the Have Nots were finally allowed to eat.
- Although Devin is the target, most of the girls have issues with Amber.
- That could spell trouble for her.
- Derrick and Nicole haven't talked game much over the past few weeks.
- They certainly talked tonight.
- They even made a final two deal.
- Uh-oh. Derrick better be careful with his final two deals!
- Derrick thinks that one of his nominees must be Jacosta, perhaps the other Caleb.
- Nicole doesn't seem to want to put anyone on the block!
- I think she's more willing for Derrick to get the blood on his hands.
- Nicole admitted to Frankie that she's got a growing crush on Hayden.
- Aw.
- Cody and Amber (Coder) seem to be flirting a lot.
- That worries Caleb as he thinks he might look like a fool on national television.
- Y'think?
- Right now, the plan is to backdoor Devin -- Derrick says none of the four nominees will go home.
- He plans to put Caleb (with his blessing) and Jacosta up. Nicole plans to put Amber and "not really decided yet" up.
- Devin wouldn't be able to defend himself unless he was chosen to play PoV and wins.
- Watch. With all of this planning, that's probably what will happen!

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Quickie Post Live Show - July 10
![]() |
And the cheese sits alone |
I'll have a more thorough report in the wee hours of the morning, but I just wanted to touch base a bit right now.
- Everybody's laughing and happy.
- Except Devin.
- Donny is about the only one who actually took time to talk to Devin.
- Devin told him that when he (Devin) watches the finale, he wants Donny to be the winner of it all.
- Devin feels he's not long for the game.
- Nicole kind of wants the small adjacent HoH room.
- That's fine with Derrick.
- Derrick promised Caleb he wouldn't go on the block.
- Zach admitted he's kind of sweet on PaoPao after their big blow-up.
- It seems like a house united.
- Well, except for Devin.
- They keep tapping those silly activity tracker bracelets.
- It's distracting.
- Derrick wants to keep it quiet that they plan to backdoor Devin.
- Hey, the dude's whacked ... he's not dumb!
- I don't think I've ever heard this much continuous laughter in the house.
- Yikes.
- Now Devin is talking to Zach and Caleb, almost as if at his own funeral. He says it's just a game and it makes people be someone they aren't. He fully expects that they'll send him packing.
- More in five or six hours when they can talk and the HoH reveal is over and stuff!

Big Brother 16: Live Eviction and HoH Show Blog Party - July 10
Hamster watchers ready? Who's going to go home? Will I be losing my blog pool hamster Paola and becoming a free agent? The feeds watchers already have an idea of the likely evictee. But, more important ... who will win HoH? Devin can't play this week, but Amber (the dethroned HoH) can play.
As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments. Come watch with us!
The after POV meeting brouhaha! Brittany points out that PaoPao lied to her, had no glasses, threw the comp. Pao tells that Devin told her to throw the comp. Devin, Frankie, Pao and Zach get into separate brouhahas and kerfuffles.
Devin wants to replace Zach's Bomb Squad position with Hayden. Hayden's not keen on it, but nods.
Derrick convinces people to keep Zach. Frankie tells Devin that even Caleb is on board to keep Zach. Devin claims he's a solo player now and will pick off everybody one by one, love of his daughter and ad nauseum.
To the living room ...
Paola -- Feel like a winner already, everyone is special, Devin has five different personalities and they all suck, Zach sucks at comps too, Love Donny best friend.
Zach -- Feels blessed, thanks family, love the 12 voters, not my target, keep me safe, will go after Devin.
The voting to evict:
Jocasta - Zach
Brittany - Paola
Derrick - Paola
Donny - Zach
To a commercial ...
Caleb - Paola
Amber - Paola
Hayden - Paola
Cody - Paola
Frankie - Paola
Nicole - Paola
Christine - Paola
Victoria - Paola
By a vote of ten to two, Paola (PaoPao) is evicted.
Time to crown two new HoH ... the power is up for grabs. Underwater Polo. Hit a single polo ball down to a numbered slot below. The two highest win.

Frankie 24
Christine 4

Improving mind and soul? |
The night before the live show tends to be a bit quiet on the whole. Perhaps some late night votes scrambling, but rarely a brouhaha. Here's what happened last night (and into the time I'm posting this) in that Big Brother House of Pipe Dreams:
- They got to practice for the upcoming HoH comp.
- It looks to be croquet mixed with a roulette wheel kind of thing.
- They have to go for the highest number of points and there are obstacles.
- They're allowed to bank shots like you would in pool.
- Donny read all the rules out loud, but I couldn't hear all of them over the other hamsters.
- Zach seemed to do well. But, then again, he's a golfer dude. Croquet and golf both have 'em hitting a ball on the ground with a mallet/club.
- Nicole and Hayden both seemed to do well, too.
- But you never really know how they'll do until the actual comp.
- At one point Devin came outside. Obviously, as outgoing HoH, no sense in him practicing although others in the past have done it in fun.
- Devin ain't about FUN. Let's make that clear.
- He's about winning the game to give his beloved daughter (whom he hasn't seen for the three months before sequester) a better future as a single dad.
- Derrick told Zach and Cody he'll put Brittany on the block if he wins HoH. He thinks that if she wins, she'd put them (or, at least two of them) on the block.
- Cody told Brittany that Zach and Cody are the only Bomb Squad people he trusts.
- Brittany and Cody agree that both Devin and Caleb have been on a power trip and in charge. They think it needs to end.
- Oh, I think so, too!
- Brittany thinks the only way to get Caleb out is to backdoor him.
- Well, duh.
- Amber is being tossed in with the dislike of Caleb and Devin.
- It's all about the company you keep, y'know.
- Caleb told the others he wasn't working with Amber.
- Um. Okay, dude. Whatever you say.
- Brittany denied working with Devin.
- Frankie is spreading the rumor (based a bit on truth as she did make a deal) that Brittany is indeed working with Devin.
- Meanwhile, Devin has all but vanished. Now that they're locked down again, he's removed himself from anywhere where anyone else might be hanging out. I guess he's secluded himself in the HoH room.
- Enjoy your last night in there, Devin. You'll have to mix with the masses tomorrow.

Big Brother 16: Live Feeds into Wednesday evening - July 9

Indoor lockdown doldrums |
Yawnsers! Here's what's happened today inside that Big Brother House of Ditzy Devin:
- Devin feels betrayed.
- Poor guy.
- He told Frankie that he found out it was Christine, not Amber, who claimed he came across as threatening.
- There goes that crush!
- He also thinks Caleb's a fool who doesn't know how to play the game.
- Well, Caleb is a bit off. But right now he looks like a BB seasoned pro compared to Devin's moves!
- Devin also told Frankie he plans on picking off the Bomb Squad members one by one, the last one being Frankie.
- Huh.
- If I were Frankie and knew Devin considered me a friend, I'd say, "Why even pick me off at all?!?!"
- Zach and PaoPao got over their brouhaha from yesterday.
- However, he still goes for the digs -- he told her to make sure not to forget to pack everything since she's going back to NY tomorrow.
- I think he's probably right.
- Jocasta is worried. She doesn't want to be the only vote to keep PaoPao.
- She told PaoPao she doesn't know what to do and can't trust anyone.
- Zach told Cody that Caleb said there's only one person he cares about in the house. You'd guess "himself." Nope, it's the love of his life, Amber.
- @@
- Donny told Frankie that Devin told him all about the Bomb Squad last night.
- Gee, why doesn't he just hold another house meeting?
- Donny told Frankie he wants to vote for Pao to stay because she's his best friend in the house.
- See, PaoPao does do something right!
- Derrick told Brittany that he was hurt that she didn't trust him enough to tell him about her conversation about the PoV with Devin.
- Brittany tells him she trusts him.
- I don't think she's being completely honest.
- But this is Big Brother.
- Brittany thinks Devin is desperate.
- Y'think?
- Or, is he just whacked and didn't have proper psychological testing pre-show?
- Dang. Devin then told Nicole all about the Bomb Squad.
- She just looked dazed and trapped in his telling of the sage and justifying his actions.
- Nicole told Donny that she thinks Frankie is playing both sides.
- He is.
- And he's going to find himself stuck in the middle, clowns to the left, jokers to the right.
- BB gave them each "activity trackers" -- seems to be a FitBit kind of thing.
- Yep, they're spending the big bucks this year!
- Donny and Derrick talked about their Team America partner. Donny thinks Frankie will stick with them even though he's playing the house. Derrick thinks if Frankie was that manipulative, America wouldn't have voted for him.
- Brittany doesn't believe the Bomb Squad is splintering apart.
- Derrick told Victoria that Brittany is working with Devin.
- It's all turning into a soap opera now ... As the Hamster Turns

Big Brother 16: PoV Show blog party - July 9
Tonight the folks who just view the show should see some of the drama going on in the house. While it's not the house divided we've seen in the past, there are definite kerfuffles. I like a good kerfuffle almost as much as a good brouhaha, don't you?
As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest! However ... if you want to discuss the show with others as it airs, the party goes on down in the comments. Come join us and have an ice cold tasty beverage or two!
Gah. Devin considers himself "the puppetmaster."
Devin's Bomb Squad members are ready to mutiny. They all want to keep Brittany. Ohh ... the Caleb dares to cross Devin brouhaha is coming! The music is perfect!
Frankie and Derrick are the remaining America's Team members. They have the code words "bald eagle" and "apple pie" to find each other.
Veto comp choosing time -- Devin draws Zach, Brittany draws Derrick, PaoPao draws Amber.
Heh. Caleb went to make amends with Devin and told him everyone wants him (Devin) out. Great work there!
Devin calls yet another Devin meeting. He tells them PaoPao threw the comp. Zach is the ONLY one to speak up. Then he admits to Devin he said that he wanted him out, but didn't mean it. Silly Zach.
The Team America mission has to do with either getting two hamsters to kiss, then spreading a showmance rumor or spreading the rumor that a hamster is related to one from a previous season. Ho-hum. It will be up on the website.
Veto comp time with Donny hosting. They're wearing spacesuits and the yard looks like a galaxy. The planets are named after BB "icons." They have to hang the planets, balancing them so none fall to the ground. It's similar to one they had last year hanging toys (I think).
Devin wins the Power of Veto. Eek.
Zach tried to congratulate him and Devin told him he doesn't trust him.
Brittany goes to talk to Devin. Mind you, she's his biggest target (until Zach). She plays the parents card with him. She agrees to be loyal to him, making a deal with the devil. He told her Pao threw the comp. He claims he's looking for good faith.
Poor Devin. He's promised both PaoPao and Brittany he'd be using the veto to save them. And, if he puts Zach up, he's breaking the code of the alliance.
Veto meeting time --
Pao - Only time I'm going to shine, so she strikes poses. @@
Brit - Not a threat, haven't backstabbed. Her target is sitting next to her.
Devin saves Brittany, a single mother of three, etc.
He then puts ZACH on the block.
They're saving the after-veto drama for tomorrow's show. Rats. I wanted a brouhaha TONIGHT!
