BB18: Live Feeds into Saturday Evening, Power of Veto - August 27

Lost in thought? BWAHAHAHA!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Goodness and Light:
  • Goodness and Light? Hmm. I must have the wrong address.
  • Corey is still stuck on what he'll do with his care package bribe.
  • BB woke 'em all up to make them pick veto players.
  • Nicole drew Victor. Paul got Houseguest's Choice and went for Corey. Michelle drew James. Natalie will host.
  • And, there is no one else for the audience!
  • Victor seems to have turned the social game for both Paul and himself.
  • He's really worked his way into Corey's head and possibly made Nicole forget that James is her friend.
  • They're all worried about a double eviction this week.
  • We know better.
  • The feeds were blocked for the PoV comp.
  • But, of course, they all talked afterwards.
  • When the feeds came back on, some were still in Christmas costumes.
  • It was a stay or fold comp.
  • And, the winner was Nicole!
  • Apparently, there were reindeer there.
  • Real ones.
  • Nicole wants to keep the nominations the same and her nemesis Michelle will go home as she (Nicole) is the tiebreaker.
  • Paul is trying to make her consider other options.
  • She doesn't seem like she'll cave in.
  • She says he's definitely the pawn and will stay.
  • Nicole says that she and Corey will team up with them (Paul/Victor) after Michelle leaves.
  • I know Paul and Victor are using them.
  • You know Paul and Victor are using them.
  • And, when they get the boot and Paul and Victor are the final two, maybe they'll realize they were using them.

Oh, James ... get your act together!

Studying

He's not likeable, but he is playing the game.

First PoV win for Nicole, either season.

Is her fate sealed? I think so.

BB18: Live Feeds into Saturday - August 27

Definitely expendable to me

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of James, What Have You Done?:
  • The quick lowdown -- James GAVE Nicole the HoH win, Corey won the care package allowing him to bribe someone with $5,000, Nicole put Michelle and Paul on the block.
  • So, you think that Paul ... the one who has been arguing with Nicole for weeks ... is the target?
  • Nope.
  • Paul and Victor have wormed their way into Corey's head as his new "ride or dies."
  • Thus, Corey stopped being a vacant stare of man and convinced Nicole that James, Natalie and Michelle are not in their best interest for their end games.
  • Now, mind you, I don't care if Michelle goes. She's very expendable to me. I don't think she brings much to the live feeds (and thus my entertainment) other than a faux superfan who cries a lot.
  • But, if someone is IN the game, they shouldn't want to be going with either Paul or Victor to the end game as both have played the game extremely well and stand a chance of winning.
  • ... even though Paul can be so obnoxious.
  • The nominations were set up between Victor/Paul and Nicole/Corey before they happened.
  • Paul is NOT the target -- he's the pawn.
  • If the nominations remain the same after veto, the voting will most likely be a tie unless James or Natalie flip against Michelle.
  • If there is a tie between Michelle and Paul, Nicole will vote out Michelle.
  • The problems come in with the veto.
  • If Michelle wins it and takes herself down, it's quite likely that James will go on the block.
  • If there's a tie vote there, will Nicole stick with James whom she is friends outside of the house? Or will she make the move against Paul, thus alienating her This Season's Showmance with Corey and her new buddy Victor?
  • If Paul wins the veto and saves himself (or someone saves him), James will go up against Michelle and quite likely could be voted out no matter how much Nicole would prefer Michelle to go.
  • I personally fear for James. He just might have ended his game by being the nice guy, trusting Nicole and giving her the HoH win.
  • Where does the $5,000 bribe come in?
  • Oh, Corey will bribe Victor to vote out Michelle. Or, he'll bribe Nicole. D'oh!
  • Maybe not. But they're already making vacation plans. Cancun.
  • James and Natalie think the target is Paul this week.
  • Paul has been distancing himself a bit from Victor, as well as Corey/Nicole.
  • This is all for show, you know.
  • Victor is Corey and Nicole's new third wheel.
  • If things continue on this course, it will be a Paul and Victor final two.
  • And, if that's the case, they'd deserve the win.
  • I can believe Corey being taken in. He's not all that bright in the ways of BB. (Perhaps not is some other ways, as well.)
  • But James and Nicole, as veteran players, should be working together. Any other cast of hamsters and the veterans would have all been out by now.
  • I think both have tossed their chance of winning into the gutter.
  • Of course, if the move is made to vote out Paul this week, that would be a game changer for them.

BB18: Live Feeds - Nominations - August 26

This is just a quickie post tonight --
  • Corey won the care package giving him the ability to bribe another hamster.
  • Nominations are finally in ... Michelle and Paul are on the block.
That's all for now!

BB18: Live Feeds into Friday - August 26

Maybe safe. Maybe not.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Stupid Moves:
  • For those who didn't read my live posting of the HoH Endurance Comp -- it was down to Nicole and James. Nicole fussed about a letter from home. James GAVE her the win. Nicole is HoH. Victor outlasted the other jurors, so he's back in the house ... yet again.
  • Silly boy.
  • Had Nicole not taken James's lead by squatting on the ledge, he probably would have won. But he doesn't have a copyright on it, y'know.
  • Paul immediately went to work on Corey, pledging allegiance, claiming he and Victor will work with them, have never been sketchy, on and on.
  • Now, who could have predicted that would happen?
  • Oh. All of us.
  • And, Corey's buying what Paul's selling.
  • Who could have predicted that?
  • Oh. All of us once again.
  • Nicole is just as taken. She tells Corey that, no matter who she does put up, it will NOT be Paul.
  • We all know the one person she wants out of the house the most ... Michelle.
  • Not long after the comp completed, she was saying Michelle or Victor.
  • Later, she changed her tune to solely Michelle out.
  • But Paul and his parrot Victor are trying to sell James as the sketchy big threat.
  • Mind you, Natalie (of Natalie and James) bought Victor's story pre-eviction that he's not with Paul anymore.
  • If these hamsters are gullible enough to be taken by Paul (and Victor), they will deserve to lose to Paul (and Victor), I say.
  • Nicole is trying to figure a way to get Michelle out, make Natalie/James and Victor/Paul happy.
  • She wants James to stay in the game to go after Paul. Or even, Victor. But, definitely Paul.
  • Even though she promised Natalie safety in her deal with James on the wall, her thoughts are to put up Natalie and Michelle, with Michelle being the target.
  • She wants to say if she puts up either Victor or Paul with Michelle, she knows that James and Natalie would vote out whichever guy.
  • By putting Natalie up, it's more of a guarantee that Michelle will go home.
  • Unless, of course, Michelle wins PoV.
  • Gotta think about that.
  • Corey is definitely more into Paul's pleas to get rid of James than is Nicole.
  • He's talked more overnight than he has in the last two months.
  • Meanwhile, Michelle thinks Paul's talking about her, demeaning her and being cruel to her.
  • So, she cries.
  • I'm so over Michelle. If she gets the boot this week, good riddance!
  • If Paul and Victor continue on in the game against James, Natalie, Nicole and Corey ... well, they made their bed.
  • Paul went on a rant about James and Natalie, wanting to split them up.
  • That was to us. With his talks to Nicole and Corey, he was a bit more diplomatic ... but still stressed James and Natalie.
  • Well, James did this to himself by giving Nicole the comp.
  • It looks like Nicole will nominate Natalie and Michelle, with the target being Michelle.
  • It's unsure who would go up if veto is won and one is saved.
  • But it very likely could be Jamesy.
  • He just might have blown his game.
  • Oh, wait. Now Nicole is saying she doesn't want to put Natalie on the block and just needs to convince Paul/Victor that Michelle needs to go instead of James.
  • Oh my.

Oh, James ... why? Silly boy.

She got her stupid letter

And Michelle cried

BB18: Live Feeds HoH Endurance Comp Coverage - August 25

When the live feeds return, this post will be constantly updated with happenings and screencaps from the live HoH endurance competition.

10:05pm ET - Feeds still blocked.
10:06pm ET - Feeds on.

10:12pm ET - All still in.
Wait -- Da'Vonne and Zakiyah aren't there.

10:16pm ET - Corey goes down.

10:25pm ET - All still in except Corey, Zakiyah and Da'Vonne. Scratch that - Bridgette went out just as I posted. And Paulie ALMOST fell. (Wish he had!)

10:30pm ET - Still just Corey, then Bridgette out, apparently Da'Vonne fell off off feeds, then Zakiyah. And, as the following screencap shows, it's not a good day for mascara.

10:36pm ET -- Paulie, Victor, Paul, Nicole and James still in it.

10:40pm ET -- PAULIE GOES DOWN TO APPLAUSE!!!

10:41pm ET -- Victor goes down, but he's back in the house! (To cheers from them.)

The final three in the comp

10:55pm ET -- Nicole, Paul and James hanging in.
11:00pm ET -- The three still in. Paul looks a bit shaky and is quiet for a change. Nicole looks uncomfortable. James looks solid.

11:10pm ET -- All three still in. Paul seems in pain and having trouble with his right hand. Nicole is a slight bit shaky. James squats every time the wall leans and looks like he could go for hours. Nicole is trying the squat technique.

11:27pm ET - PAUL IS OUT. It's down to Nicole and James. I'm sure a deal can be made.

Nicole is trying the same thing Natalie did with Victor -- "I just want a letter from home." James wants to do a "fourth wall comp." He wants off slop, too. They've already promised each other (and Natalie and Corey) safety.

11:55pm ET -- James gave into her begging and dropped. Grr.

NICOLE IS HOH!

Bridgette Dunning - Brian, Indiana Jane, Caela, Chauncey, Paula Bell
Paulie Calafiore - Joel, Chacha, Sally, Ed In Ohio, Buzzmaam

Let's get this party started!

The excitement should start after the recap. Oh, good ... they're going to show Paulie entering the jury house. (Now he just needs to stay there!) Julie tells us that the jurors will compete in an epic battle of endurance and the winner will return to the house.

James's vote will determine which side of the house he and Natalie are really on. Paul is more paranoid than is Victor. Victor thinks he and Paul need to figure out a way to keep him in the house over Corey. Paul tells Victor to "betray" him in talks with Nicole and Corey. Paul wants to act like Nicole and Corey are his new best friends and wants James to see that. While Paul does his best buddies act, Victor tries to convince James, Michelle and Natalie that he's over Paul and will work with them. He claims if he wins HoH, he'd put Paul on the block.

Paulie goes to jury! They scream with delight to see he got evicted, not that they want to live with him. He calls them catty and petty. They are ganging up on him. It sucks to be him, right? BWAHAHAHA! Zakiyah stands up to him, they all walk out on him. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

To the living room --
Victor - Love parents, great summer, I'm loyal, hope you vote to keep me.
Corey - Loyal, honest game, etc.

The votes to evict:
Nicole - Victor
Paul - Corey
James - Victor

Victor is evictored once again. Everybody left him nice goodbye messages, telling him Paul was the target this week, not him.

Now he gets the chance to compete with the other jury members to return to the house ... after commercial messages!

The jury gets word that they will battle against each other, last standing will reenter the house. Zakiyah is avoiding Paulie.

Julie gathers the hamsters in the living room. Tells them they will ALL be competing in an epic battle with the five jurors alongside them. If the winning juror is the last one, they could be HoH.

BTW - I'll be creating a separate post to cover the HoH Endurance Comp on the live feeds after this live show ends.

Welcome to Loch Ness -- they're on a wall platforms. The yard is done up with a moat and a huge fake Loch Ness monster. Typical wall action, leaning. There's some kind of mist. Supposedly the monster is upset and shooting them with water and wiggling them.

BB18: Live Feeds into Thursday - August 25

Likes to prank her Jamesy

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Dastardly Deceit:
  • The more things change, the more they remain the same.
  • Paul is still telling lies that he'll work with Nicole and Corey if/when Victor is evicted.
  • The truth there is as James sees it ... Paul will work with whomever holds the power as he'll be a lone wolf in the game.
  • Meanwhile, Victor is trying to convince Michelle and Natalie that he'll work with them, he's not cool with Paul anymore, yada-yada-yada.
  • He claims, if he stays and wins HoH, he'll nominate Nicole and Paul.
  • Now, both Natalie and Michelle would be happy with the Paul nom (that in reality won't happen if he stays) and Michelle would be overjoyed with a Nicole nomination.
  • But, of course, Paul and Victor are still cool and these are their attempts to keep Victor in the house.
  • James sees right through them and had separate talks with Natalie/Michelle and Corey/Nicole.
  • So, they're all onto them.
  • They're not holding the efforts against Victor. He's been approaching them respectfully, pleasantly and generally being a good guy in the house.
  • On the other hand, there's Paul.
  • Remember ... Paul is Victor's "social game."
  • Poor Victor if he had had to depend on that!
  • Paul's lies to all are evident to all.
  • They're nodding to him, but they all know what he's doing.
  • In a talk with Corey/Nicole, James once again said that, after Paul goes, it needs to be Michelle.
  • Nicole wants Michelle out mainly because she knows Michelle is trying to get her out.
  • "If I get evicted, I want it to be strategic, not personal emotion," says she.
  • There is a lot of speculation about the upcoming care package. They're all guessing wrong.
  • Paul and Corey have been making separate begs for the package.
  • At this point, it looks like most agree with James that the numbers and dateline don't support a returning juror.
  • They're wrong there, too.
  • I can't see James's vote changing. It will be Victor going out tonight.
  • But who will be coming back in?

They're playing us. Victor needs to go.

I like you, Victor.

I'd target Paul and Nicole. (Yeah, right.)

BB18: Live Feeds into Wednesday Evening - August 24

Not resting comfortably

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Anxiety Attacks:
  • For the second day in a row much of the early day was taken up by Paul talking to himself ... er, us.
  • I don't know.
  • I can't listen to him that long.
  • They've been on indoor lockdown since yesterday. The HoH comp must be something elaborate. Perhaps a wall. I dunno. Neither do they.
  • Paul has been mingling (with a purpose) better today, not fighting with people.
  • He and Corey talked about how stupid Paul was, bragging about how he had unprotected sex with Zakiyah even though BB has condoms available.
  • Now, I don't watch the feeds to see sex.
  • I'd rather they have an epic water balloon fight with the condoms!
  • Both Paul and Corey think they've been having anxiety attacks.
  • Paul is worried about having a heart attack. If memory serves, he's 22 years old.
  • @@
  • Victor has been mingling just in the hopes that being fun and entertaining might give him a thread of hope to stay.
  • Paul's mingling is more to get Nicole and Corey to play with him, thinking that Victor will go home.
  • He's telling lies and half-truths to them about Michelle and Natalie (and throw a James in there now and again).
  • One of his latest Michelle rants is that she called him an atheist. He's upset his Armenian Christian family will hear it.
  • Um. Okay. Apparently the profanity he spouts is fine with them.
  • Victor tried to get Natalie to confirm that James is voting for him to stay.
  • She said James is playing his own game and she doesn't know how he's voting.
  • Yeah, right.
  • Natalie later asked James if she wanted to keep Victor, would he do that?
  • He answered with the expected question -- Do you want to keep Victor?
  • She thinks that Nicole has been talking about her and is having doubts.
  • She put pressure on James, telling him she'd vote the way he wanted if he asked her to.
  • Hmm.
  • (I'd personally say the only real problem of keeping Victor -- other than the fact he could win the entire game -- is that, by keeping him, you have the Paul and Victor tag team. That's way too dangerous!)
  • James isn't giving in. He KNOWS evicting Victor is the right thing to do.
  • After many rounds of discussion, Michelle, James and Natalie are all in agreement that Victor needs to go.
  • And, with that, I need to go.
  • Tomorrow's another day.

On a new mission to pull in Nicole/Corey

He's smiling again. Is it programmed?

BB18: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 24

Hamster watchers ready? Let's get this show going!

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll be constantly updating this entry. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please join in on the fun there as we watch the show together!

But, first ... we must sit through the recap.

Ohh! Heated words ahead? Not quite as interesting as fisticuffs or an outright brouhaha, but I'll take it.

Natalie wants Paul out. Victor tells Paul that he (Victor) is a pawn and "they" want Paul gone. Paul confronts Natalie about being called a liar. He demands everyone come to the kitchen. Natalie walks away and he starts on Michelle.Heated words ... "You all suck at this game" -- Paul.

Nicole and Corey go to celebrate dance in the storage room.

Paul tries to deflect and get Nicole and Corey in hot water. Paul makes Natalie cry because she feels bad about nominating him. Michelle thinks that power makes him even more dangerous.

It seems that Natalie feels that she was indeed manipulated by Nicole and Corey. Paul and Victor perpetuate that. Michelle isn't falling for it. James isn't, either. He wants a final four with Natalie, Corey and Nicole.

Paul confronts Nicole that she said he's a liar and manipulator. He tells her that she's the reason he's on the block. Heh. Corey comes running through shedding his patriotard laughing in the middle of the argument.

"We were bamboozled, primarily by you two, mainly you," Paul to Nicole.

Red Alert time for secret agent Paul. Good timing, BB. That would be the last rounds for him, his job is done.

Storm Watch Update on the screen in the living room. Superstorm Glenn, Superstorm Jodi. Paul and Natalie are studying together. Gah. Stuperstorm Jozea. Oh, I mean Superstorm. Nicole and Corey aren't into the studying. Uh-oh. Paul is the only one staying up for all the warnings.

Veto player picks -- Paul chooses James. Michelle chooses Corey. Nicole will host.

Natalie is irked at Paul for taking over the HoH room and bed. She's thinking more about getting Paul out with the latest.

Okay, the veto has them auditioning for a position on the BB Storm Weather Team. They read a teleprompter and insert the storm name in the blank. The most points wins. They're doing it in a wind/rain storm tunnel with blowing inflatable sharks and all.

Corey - 15
James - 13
Natalie - 20
Natalie - 10
Paul - 21 (Perfect score)
Victor - 19

Paul wins the Power of Veto. He wants Corey up and out.

Michelle wants to put Nicole up. Everybody else wants Corey. It will be Michelle's decision as Paul was her nominee.

Veto meeting time. Paul saves himself (of course). Michelle puts Corey on the block in his place. She loves everybody, y'know, but it's a strategic decision. Corey is sure he'll still be around. Michelle wants him out over Victor. But, at the end of the day, it's James's decision.

Victor mingling

Y'know ... I really have nothing. Last night's report could suffice for this morning.

At least there's a show tonight!

BB18: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - August 23

A thrill a minute in the house today

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Napping Ne'er-do-wells:
  • Again today, a whole lot of napping went on.
  • The HoH camera came to play. Such fun!
  • Yawn.
  • Paul is still holding to his No Friendship With Michelle agenda.
  • What little mingling he did today, he badmouthed the girl.
  • Michelle is still on her Avoid Paul gig.
  • Victor is trying to hold hope that either he isn't evicted or he comes back in a "jury buyback."
  • James thinks the twists with people returning are over.
  • We know that one's wrong!
  • Corey is getting anxious. Very odd -- he looks the same anxious as he does relaxed.
  • Paul went on a rant about Michelle in which he said he's ready to leave, sick of cameras on him 24/7 and he just wants to tell her off.
  • Hmm. Maybe he can unsave himself and use the veto to save Corey?
  • Just a thought.
  • When asked if he was going to campaign, Corey told Paul that he's just going to let James do whatever he's going to do and not bug him.
  • Remember -- there are only three votes this week -- Paul, Nicole and James.
  • WE know that James has already confirmed with Nicole and Corey that he will vote Victor out.
  • But no one is telling Paul that.
  • James said he will tell Victor before the live show.
  • But I think Victor already senses it, as does Paul.
  • Victor is acting well, mingling, have fun conversations with others (including Michelle).
  • His "social game" (hahahaha!) Paul is pouting, ending Friendship and almost to the point of pulling a Paulie without tears.
  • Victor and Corey both took turns with the Swiffer, cleaning up.
  • That's about all I have for you tonight.
  • I never said this would be legendary.
  • Did I?

HoH camera ... and fun was had by all
