Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Wednesday Evening into Thursday - August 28-29

Did GinaMarie bust her butt?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Harried Hamsters:
  • GinaMarie's lower back is really hurting her after she lugged Judd into the pool. If the HoH comp is physical, this might hurt her chances.
  • Her fellow ally boys are a bit worried about that.
  • Aaryn packed her bag.
  • Aw, so sad.
  • Not.
  • I think I might be sad that it's not Amanda going out first.
  • Judd has a fear that it's a double eviction again and wants to show people where his stuff is to pack.
  • Heh.
  • I think we're probably in for another double eviction next week, but not this week.
  • Andy's worried about the eviction.
  • Again.
  • Still.
  • Whatever.
  • Amanda and Aaryn talked about her speech. Amanda suggested she should say, "At least I'm leaving at the hands of a white person."
  • Then they all got doing Asian accents after Amanda mocked Chinese people.
  • @@
  • GinaMarie told Elissa that Aaryn told her that she should stick with her.
  • Well, it's not the best, but at least Elissa is getting people on her side. A few weeks ago all she had was Helen.
  • GinaMarie thinks the Zingbot zings might be in the HoH comp.
  • Amanda continues to eat constantly. I really don't know she doesn't just explode.
  • That would make good TV!
  • Aaryn told McCrae that Spencer doesn't trust him.
  • She's still dropping little tidbits all over before she goes.
  • Aaryn predicts that unless they win HoH, Amanda and McCrae will be on the block every week.
  • Well, duh. Of course.
  • Elissa and Aaryn had a long talk, mostly about what could have been had Aaryn not fallen in with Amanda.
  • GinaMarie protested to Amanda and McCrae about Aaryn saying she was after them.
  • At least Aaryn is an equal opportunity pot stirrer if nothing else.
  • She's pretty much dropped seeds of discontent all over the house.
  • Not so much about Elissa, though. Perhaps because she knows many people in the house already don't like her.
  • Ew. The camera just focused on Spencer with his hand down his pants.
  • Ew.
  • Now I have to go away.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Wednesday into the Evening - August 28

Ohh ... Jenga frenzy excitement

I wish we could come to a happy medium feeds-wise in the house. For a few days there, it was hard to keep up. Today it was hard to not fall asleep. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hazy Hamsters:
  • Most napped for most of the day.
  • The fish did not nap.
  • The fish are coolness.
  • While I didn't like the extreme behavior when Amanda was bullying Elissa, now that she's been being nice, it's way boring.
  • The Exterminators Alliance -- Spencer, Judd, Andy and GinaMarie -- are determined to get Amanda or McCrae out next week.
  • Well, that is unless Amanda or McCrae win HoH.
  • Then they'll follow them along like the good little sheep they are.
  • Aaryn discovered toys in the storage room -- Jenga with its label blacked out, a deck of cards, a Slinky and a hacky-sack ball.
  • Ohhhh.
  • Excitement.
  • She didn't tell anyone for a long time, but then said she saw them once she joined others in the yard.
  • Judd went in to check. Yup.
  • Like Aaryn before him, he went looking through the entire deck of cards.
  • What do they think? A Get-a-PoV free card is in there?
  • Judd found out that the Slinky doesn't work well on a spiral staircase.
  • He left the toys in the kitchen and went back out to the yard.
  • GinaMarie claimed they were lying when they said there were toys in the storage room.
  • No, Judd left them in the kitchen. Not lying at all.
  • However, GM still thought it was necessary to punish him for lying and spent much time and effort in pulling him over to the pool to throw him in.
  • BB voice told them to stop, but they didn't.
  • They should have stopped.
  • GM hurt her back messing around wrestling and lugging Judd.
  • The rest of the Exterminators lamented that she should realize that she's not that young anymore.
  • GAH! When I was her age, I was into some of my most physically active years of my life!
  • Aaryn is resigned to leaving, told GinaMarie that Amanda and McCrae must get gone and she herself wants to mend fences with Elissa as to leave on a good note with her.
  • The indoor lockdown went into effect at about 5pm their time. It will probably remain so until tomorrow night's show.
  • Yawn.

Big Brother 15: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 28

Come one, come all ... get ready for the Zingbot. Now, I bet we could have written better material, but it's always fun to see the hamsters fume about the zingers anyway.

A programming note before we start -- tomorrow night it seems like football has taken over much of the CBS primetime block. I'll set up a post prior to tomorrow's live show so people can share any programming information in their areas -- when it's scheduled, if there's an alternate channel. I myself am thankful that here in the Greater NYC Metro area, WCBS bought WLNY out on Long Island and that my cable provider carries it. It's most likely to be found on either channel 10 or 55 if you're in this area. WLNY be airing the CBS primetime shows tomorrow night as WCBS will air football. No more middle of the night not-live shows here! Woohoo!

As the show airs here tonight, I'll post the major happenings in real time. Refresh the page to get the latest! But, as always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Elissa's plan to target Aaryn has morphed into a "Let's backdoor Amanda" plan. She brings in both Judd and Aaryn on it. Of course, Aaryn is for it as it would save her butt. However, veto is still to be played. All just might change.

Time to pick veto players -- Elissa gets Amana (eek), MCrae got GinaMarie, Aaryn got HG choice and chose Judd.

The Zingbot arrives while they're all sleeping.

Time for the PoV comp, a party theme with cake and robots. It's Baby Zingbot's first birthday. They have to roll a ball through a teeter-totter type thing bent in the middle, run to the other side, catch it, roll it again ... to charge "batteries." Judd got really sick from the heat and dropped out. Amanda wins with GinaMarie right on her tail.

Amanda goes onto a path of havoc trying to bully Amanda into putting GM on the block instead of Andy after she saves McCrae with the veto.

Veto meeting time. Amanda saves McCrae. Elissa puts Andy on the block.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Tuesday into Wednesday - August 27-28

Morning meeting

Y'know, it was a lot more interesting to watch when they were all quibbling with each other. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of It's A Long Time Until Thursday Night:
  • They all keep thinking a Pandora's Box is due. Hey, there just might not be one. They seem to forget that there was a time that the seasons had no Pandora's Box.
  • I'm just wondering when they'll get the dollar store arts and crafts or get to tie-dye t-shirts.
  • Now, there's the real excitement every season!
  • In the past week or so, the ants have rediscovered the house. I don't know why they waited so long this year.
  • Maybe they were afraid of the hamsters.
  • Judd and Elissa continue to get along well. A lot of their time talking is spent about Amanda (horrible woman) and McCrae (doesn't take a shower for two weeks), peppered with small talk about television and family.
  • On the other hand, Amanda and McCrae spend a lot of their time talking about Judd (can't be trusted) and Elissa (needs to go!).
  • Today (well, Tuesday), most of them spent the day either napping or lounging around.
  • B-o-r-i-n-g!
  • The HoH camera came out and a good time was had by all.
  • @@
  • Amanda said that it's fun to just laze around and not worry about bills.
  • Spencer said it's like living at home with parents.
  • Hey, McCrae should feel right at home then!
  • Amanda said she feels happier because she took her meds.
  • Hmm.
  • Andy, knowing he's safe, keeps asking people if he's safe and saying how, of course he's mad at Elissa for putting him on the block.
  • Amanda would still like to keep Aaryn for the comp wins and target value, but agrees with McCrae that they never know what she'll do. She's shown that she isn't loyal while Andy has had constant loyalty.
  • Spencer and Andy think Judd is only being nice to Elissa as she's HoH.
  • While I'm sure that has something to do with it, I've also noticed that he gets very quiet and doesn't take part in it when the others are trash-talking Elissa.
  • I think Judd really doesn't trust anyone and probably thinks that Elissa is the least likely to target him.
  • Oh! I was mistaken! McCrae pays all of $100 a month to live with friends. His parents even canceled his phone and stuff.
  • Hmm.
  • Aaryn keeps trying pretty much anything to convince people that they should keep her.
  • Some truths, some lies.
  • It's just digging a deeper hole for her to crawl into on Thursday.
  • Some of what she's saying sounds like she's saying it to instigate problems between others.
  • They got a paltry amount of alcohol -- everyone can drink this week as there are no Have Nots.
  • They played beer pong.
  • A thrill a minute.
  • Amanda put herself in charge of the beer pong.
  • Spencer called her a control freak.
  • Well, yeah!
  • Aaryn told the others that Elissa said Judd is the best-looking man in the house and that Elissa wants Aaryn out because she's jealous of her relationship with Judd.
  • @@
  • While Judd IS the best-looking guy in the house at this time, it's not like there's much competition going on in that department.
  • And, no. Elissa hasn't any interest in that manner towards Judd.
  • Amanda ran and told Elissa about it.
  • Elissa laughed.
  • They all laughed because it kind of shows Aaryn is grasping at straws.
  • It could very well be a unanimous vote out of Aaryn on Thursday.
  • Nah, not "very well." It will be unanimous.

Woe is me

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Monday Night into Tuesday - August 26-27

I wonder if he has a security blanket at home

After a few days of manic problems, the hamsters have quieted down now. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Stormy Seas:
  • GinaMarie talked about Staten Island.
  • McCrae wondered if Nick lived in Times Square.
  • @@
  • GinaMarie doesn't seem to know much about New York State outside of downstate (which she seems to think is upstate),
  • Aaryn tried to convince GinaMarie that if she stays, she'll go after Amanda and McCrae.
  • Elissa told GinaMarie not to believe Aaryn.
  • Elissa told Aaryn she feels bad for the kind of person she is.
  • Oh my.
  • McCrae made the attempt to mend fences with Elissa.
  • Not because he really feels it deep within (although he's ticked at Amanda's behavior) -- it's all in the game.
  • I'm getting almost as tired of him saying "like" every third or fourth word as I am of him chewing on his fingernails all the time. Oh ... and those plaid pajama pants!
  • McCrae and Elissa's long talk aired out a lot of the issues between them.
  • Of course, now that everyone seems to have accepted Aaryn going home this week, things are a bit easier for all.
  • Even Amanda admits she's given up the fight. She felt she should try because Aaryn's done so much for them, but the time came to stop.
  • Oh, it did take a while more with Amanda, though.
  • She resisted McCrae's coaxing to go talk to Elissa for hours before she buckled.
  • McCrae told Amanda that any more acting out on her part will further alienate GM against them.
  • Amanda decided her social game is over, it's all about comps now.
  • Hmm. She won one so far.
  • Amanda is dead-set against Judd, Elissa or GinaMarie winning the game. She says that she won't vote at the end if it's any of them.
  • @@
  • Spencer and McCrae trash-talked Aaryn.
  • They claim that Aaryn is saying anything she can to stay.
  • Well, a lot of what she's saying is the truth and they just don't want her saying it!
  • Despite all the anti-Aaryn sentiment, Andy is worried that he might be in for a blindside.
  • No, Andy, you're not that important. Everyone knows what you are.
  • Spencer told Judd and Elissa that McCranda needs to be split up.
  • D'oh!
  • But then he solidified his bond with McCrae. When Spencer says they need to be split up, he means Amanda must go.
  • Aaryn again apologized to Judd for her part in getting him evicted.
  • Oh, I believe Judd has tucked his grudges away for future reference.
  • Judd told Aaryn he doesn't know how he'll vote yet.
  • Aaryn said she doesn't want to be blindsided.
  • I say -- Hey, Aaryn, when you know it's coming, it's not a blindside!
  • NOW Aaryn claims she wants to play on her own, not be Amanda's puppet.
  • A bit too late for that!
  • Elissa and Amanda had a long, long talk. If you didn't know Amanda like we do from the live feeds, you might feel there was actual remorse and a fresh start between the two.
  • But it's all in the game.
  • Amanda knows that, strategically, she needs to amend somehow for her outrageous behavior and Elissa pretends to accept it.
  • So, it looks like it will be Aaryn out Thursday without a doubt ...

Talking to Amanda, believe it or not

That behavior really wasn't me ... she says.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Monday Daytime, PoV Meeting - August 26

GM promising Elissa she will vote out Aaryn

Here's what happened today inside that Big Brother House of Loquacious Louts:
  • Y'know ... I don't really miss Helen doing her exercise routine each morning. It tired me out just watching her.
  • As the day started out, Andy asked Elissa what was happening. She admitted she'd probably put him up, but feels he's safe.
  • He mentioned GinaMarie going up (as have so many before him) and she doesn't think that's the right choice.
  • She does have a better chance of Aaryn leaving with Andy on the block rather than GM.
  • Plus, GinaMarie shook hands, promised, made the sign of the cross and more telling Elissa she would vote out Aaryn.
  • As much as GM skeeves me out -- when she has promised something, I don't believe I've seen her not keep her word.
  • Andy begged, fussed, whined to Elissa to no avail.
  • Poor little spy boy.
  • Elissa told Andy that Amanda said Aaryn will stay no matter who they put up, including Andy. Thus he's being used as a puppet by Amanda.
  • "I'm not a puppet!"
  • Watch Amanda pull his strings, I say.
  • His feelings are hurt! She hasn't even been close to GM until this week!
  • Elissa told him that she's still not close to her.
  • Andy is refusing to listen to what she's saying. Elissa is telling him that if GM went up against Aaryn, GM would go home. She wants AARYN to go home. She stands a better chance of that with Andy on the block.
  • WE know Amanda wants to keep Aaryn and McCrae thinks they should keep Andy.
  • Don't faint ... but I think McCrae will win out on this one with Amanda. No sense in them each voting their own way; the votes would simply cancel each other out.
  • GinaMarie told Elissa that Amanda's act yesterday was funny for about five minutes.
  • Yeah, had it been five minutes and not so intense with hatred, it could have been funny ... I say.
  • Meanwhile, Aaryn thinks Elissa deserved it all.
  • Nope. NO ONE deserves to be constantly bullied like that.
  • Andy and Judd were talking, saying they would both put Amanda and McCrae on the block if they win HoH.
  • I reserve judgment until I see it.
  • GM is really, really sucking up to Elissa. She cleaned the hot sauce mess that Amanda made atop of the set of drawers Elissa's been using downstairs.
  • She made sure to tell Elissa about it for the brownie points.
  • Aaryn thinks GM is playing her (Aaryn).
  • I hope she is!
  • The PoV ceremony went down ... as expected, McCrae saved himself and Elissa put Andy on the block with Aaryn.
  • Amanda told Judd that they won't vote out Andy.
  • Judd asked them for a one week safety deal. He's very worried that he's a big target since he was evicted once before already.
  • Andy feels that Judd will hold a grudge against him blaming him for his eviction as McCrae and Amanda haven't taken any responsibility for it while he has.
  • Amanda refuses to talk to Judd about their part in Judd's eviction.
  • Such loyal buddies Andy has!
  • Amanda bullied Elissa some more.
  • Keep smiling, Elissa. It will drive her crazy!
  • Aaryn cried.
  • Amanda cried while comforting the crying Aaryn.
  • Amanda feels so defeated.
  • Boohoo.
  • Amanda again told Aaryn how she (Amanda) has been running the entire game making sure her targets went home.
  • Um ... she's telling that to a person who has the blood on her hands for doing that dirty work for Amanda. Something's a kilter with that gal, methinks.
  • Amanda told Andy to make sure Elissa doesn't get Spencer, Judd or GinaMarie on her side.
  • Heh.
  • Aaryn has already accepted that she'll probably be going home, especially since Amanda told her that while she wanted to keep her, McCrae didn't.
  • Aaryn told GM to vote with the house and not make waves, then win HoH.
  • Amanda came to the realization that she's the only one being outright mean to Elissa (while the others just trash-talk her when she's not with them).
  • Amanda thinks that makes her (Amanda) look bad.
  • Y'think?
  • She's so upset that she's the only one being a bully and the rest aren't.
  • Hmm.
  • Wild rant time from Amanda. It goes on and on.
  • I mean ... what rational person would go off the hook because she's the only one bullying someone and others aren't joining in?
  • What's wrong with this picture?

Big Brother 15: Late Night Sunday into Monday - August 25-26

The bear shirt is BACK

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Psycho Killer (Qu'est Que C'est) fa-fa-fa-fa-fa:
  • Let's see ... I last left off with GinaMarie apologizing to Elissa about Amanda's bullying. She doesn't like bullies.
  • Um. Okay.
  • Aaryn told GM that she shouldn't hang around Elissa because she might find herself on the block next week.
  • Amanda read the rules book making sure that she stayed within the rules.
  • Yes, her harassment of Elissa apparently fell within the guidelines. As long as she doesn't touch her or seriously doesn't threaten physical harm, she's good to go. Er, stay. You know what I mean.
  • Of course, it makes her look like a psycho jerk for the entire world to see, but ...!
  • Judd told Elissa that BB won't let them have alcohol because of Amanda's behavior.
  • Heh.
  • Elissa told Judd she doesn't want to leave her HoH room because she doesn't want to deal with Amanda.
  • The photo booth made a second Sunday appearance, perhaps because no one wanted it the first time around.
  • They all freaked out about the camera spinning in the yard and the one in the kitchen going crazy.
  • Well, everyone but Elissa, that is. She was in the HoH room.
  • Aaryn and McCrae are worried that Ellisa will get Pandora's Box or a power.
  • GinaMarie says she came in the house alone, she'll leave alone. She doesn't think Aaryn is loyal to her and won't have a problem voting her out.
  • Amanda has a headache. Gee, after acting bonkers for hours, that doesn't surprise me.
  • When Elissa wondered why Amanda hates her so much, Judd told her that they're (Amanda and her minions) "too good to go on the block."
  • Amanda says she's sick of how dirty the house is.
  • WELL, CLEAN IT THEN! Amanda and McCrae are the biggest slobs in there!
  • Aaryn told Spencer, Andy and Judd that GM said she was voting Andy out.
  • Well, that's a bit premature.
  • Andy isn't even on the block.
  • Yet.
  • Andy got all upset saying he wasn't the only one to vote Helen out!
  • Aaryn is having second thoughts about getting Helen out of the game.
  • A bit late for that, little missy!
  • Judd and GinaMarie, the only ones Elissa actually occasionally lets into the HoH room, are tired of getting questioned after they talk to Elissa.
  • GinaMarie talked of the show shrink questioning her as if she would commit suicide after Nick left and saying she had an eating disorder.
  • Everyone but McCrae said they're tired of Amanda's antics in tormenting Elissa.
  • But no one is stopping her, mind you.
  • Judd said working with Amanda before hurt his game.
  • Andy said working with Amanda helped his game, but now it might be hurting him.
  • It looks like Spencer, Andy, Judd and GinaMarie are all ready to stand up against the Amanda Queendom.
  • Andy says he's willing to work with Elissa, but if she puts him on the block, she will be on his radar.
  • We'll see about that.
  • I do think Elissa will put Andy on the block as she has made promises to the others that she wouldn't put them up.
  • But, will they keep Aaryn in the house?
  • Only time will tell.
No biting the nails for a moment

Eek! What's going on out there?

The camera's going wild!

Can you say pigsty? I thought you could.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Sunday into the Evening - August 25

Nail biting again or still

Usually Sundays are boring. Today was more weird than boring. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Sloppy Sycophants:
  • Oops. Andy left the hose going in the pool. The yard flooded. Oops.
  • Elissa and Judd talked some more. Judd thinks that if Andy is put on the block, he'll go home, not Aaryn.
  • Judd doesn't trust McCrae at all even though McCrae promised him safety.
  • Elissa told Judd she hasn't made her mind up yet. She thinks that Andy might be realizing he's expendable by Amanda and Co.
  • Judd and Elissa both talked about messy everyone is in the house.
  • Heck, I'm a bit horrified. There are always slobs in there, but this season has the worst.
  • In the trashtalking they did about others, Judd said McCrae should volunteer to be a Have Not because he so rarely takes showers or washes his hair. He said he also doesn't eat much.
  • I don't know. He eats his fingernails every minute of every day! Gotta be some protein right there!
  • They are right about him being dirty -- he wears the same clothes over and over again, rarely washing them.
  • Elissa can't believe a superfan of the show like McCrae could throw his whole game away for Amanda.
  • Judd reminds her that he (Judd) also threw his game away by trusting Amanda.
  • And, yes. In their talk, they both talked about being of better character than the rest of the house.
  • Elissa told Judd she worries about him because he's said that he trusts Andy.
  • Smart girl when she wants to be, huh?
  • Elissa told him that if Andy wins HoH next week, he'll still do whatever Amanda wants for nominations.
  • I think she's probably right. Andy knows he's dug a hole for himself in the game. I think he honestly wants to flip sides, but if the power shifts, he'll go running right back to Amanda with his tail between his legs.
  • Andy is worried (as he should be) that he'll be going on the block.
  • Spencer told him he should be safe.
  • Um. Whatever.
  • Then came a brouhaha! Weeeee!
  • It was McCrae vs. Elissa. He called her all kinds of names. She told him he wasn't to touch her stuff. She said he had some dirty filthy unwashed clothes in every drawer and she took them out of her drawers and put them with his other clothes.
  • She also complained that people took her balls (from the comp) without asking.
  • In the end, they were both demanding respect for the property of others and it all started with them touching each others' property!
  • @@
  • Then Amanda got all bent out of shape and decided she's going to torment Elissa until the veto ceremony.
  • GinaMarie got all psycho state because someone untied the dental floss secured cabinet and took dishes out.
  • Judd admitted he was looking for a coffee cup. GM screamed at him they did that so people would wash one rather than dirty another one.
  • Judd said he couldn't find any dirty ones.
  • GM told him to look by Amanda and McCrae's bed.
  • Even Amanda had to laugh at that one as it's so true.
  • Amanda took the Sweet Elissa wooden sign and put it on the toilet.
  • She dressed in a bulky robe, put make-up on, walked around lugging a box of Kleenex and blowing a noisemaker. She said it's her Granny persona.
  • After blowing the noisemaker in Elissa's face several times, Elissa went to the Diary Room (probably to complain).
  • Then Judd got into a verbal brouhaha with Aaryn -- She screamed that he keeps lying. He yelled that she had to stop telling people he wants Andy on the block.
  • Oh my. I need some popcorn.
  • And, dim those lights, please. Full cinematic effect and all, y'know.
  • Amanda has decided she will blow the noisemaker in Elissa's face all day so she can't talk with anyone.
  • Judd told Aaryn that Elissa has made her own mind up regarding what she wants to do and no one can change it.
  • Neither GinaMarie nor Aaryn know the meaning of the word "veto" out of the context of Big Brother.
  • Why am I not surprised?
  • When Amanda started blowing the noisemaker at Elissa, she just started laughing.
  • Well, that can take the wind out of Amanda's sails!
  • Andy told Amanda his loyalty is still with them.
  • Why am I not surprised?
  • No one got excited for the weekly photo booth session.
  • They're more entertained bullying each other.
  • Then it went weirder. We had a long session of the fish cam followed by a good hour of trivia.
  • Fish cam is always used for temporary blocks -- singing, talking about someone who hasn't signed a release or such.
  • Trivia is used for long blocks like comps.
  • We never have trivia on Sunday evenings.
  • If anything, Amanda's behavior got worse ... screaming for Elissa to nominate herself and how she caused "all of this."
  • Hmm.
  • Andy told Elissa he's sorry it's happening. Elissa said she can't believe production isn't stopping it.
  • Aaryn told GM that BB took away their scissors.
  • Then we had an extended fish cam period after which Amanda claimed she needed to take a break (from her tormenting Elissa).
  • Aaryn asked if the Diary Room told her to stop and Amanda said no.
  • Amanda said she felt like a jerk but no way will she apologize to Elissa.
  • McCrae thinks that Elissa has psychological problems because she just kept smiling as Amanda tormented her.
  • I personally think she considered that her best defense. She didn't want to get into a knock-down drag out with Amanda!
  • GinaMarie gathered Elissa's clothes from the downstairs and brought them to her saying she didn't want anything to happen to them.
  • GinaMarie apologized for Amanda's behavior.
  • But Amanda nor McCrae apologized. Both refuse to and act like it's some kind of badge of honor.
  • @@
  • Now Amanda is walking around in a sweatshirt and underpants, even leaving the bathroom stall door open as she used the toilet.
  • Ew.
  • This is odd, much more odd than the Evel Dick pots and pans wake-up bit.

Big Brother 15: Nominations Show Blog Party (Returning Hamster, new HoH) - August 25

Oh my gosh ... I forgot that people who only watch the show don't know who the returning hamster is, nor the winner of the HoH. As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news!

The real party is in the comments ... come join us!

The HoH comp continues -- Spencer and McCrae down almost simultaneously. Helen is handing out intel on the house to the jury competitors as they play. Jessie, Elissa and Amanda are doing the best. Andy is down.

Jessie falls, yelling at Amanda on her way out. Amanda acts shocked. Helen falls followed immediately by Candice but the show really stretched that out with filmed commentary. And we go to commercial without her falling! Sheesh.

Judd returns to the house! He falls, so he won't win HoH. But he does return to play the game.

Elissa wins HoH! Only Amanda and GM were still up there at the time.

Elissa wants to target Aaryn. Amanda thinks she needs to put GinaMarie on the block with her so Aaryn will go. But ... Elissa is getting a kick out of causing issues between Aaryn, McCrae and Amanda by putting one of the other two up on the block with Aaryn. Heehee.

Judd aligns with Elissa. Aaryn worries. Amanda is upset because she has no control.

Time for nominations! Key order -- Judd, GinaMarie, Spencer, Andy, Amanda. Aaryn and McCrae are on the block. Elissa tells McCrae she hopes he wins the veto. She tells Aaryn now she knows how she has felt all along.

McCrae has to know we'll mock his fashion "sense"

Here's what happened last night into the wee hours inside that Big Brother House of Devious Dolts:
  • Amanda and McCrae are conflicted over the "who will go home" dilemma.
  • Amanda would like to keep Aaryn around doing their dirty work for them while McCrae doesn't want to lose others and doesn't really like Aaryn.
  • Amanda keeps coming up with new ruses to make Elissa think Aaryn will stay no matter what.
  • Ultimately, McCrae and Amanda would prefer Elissa put GinaMarie on the block as she's extremely expendable in view of their cause.
  • They don't think they can control GinaMarie.
  • Heck, GinaMarie can't control GinaMarie. What makes anyone think they can?
  • Amanda thinks that Spencer can't be trusted at all.
  • McCrae trusts Spencer.
  • They occasionally talked about the Zingbot. Apparently it was a fat joke about Spencer and the Zingbot was mean to GinaMarie.
  • I personally think jokes at the expense of weight or looks tend to fall in with a lot of the cruel behaviors we've seen in the house itself. Not cool in my book.
  • However, I snickered when Spencer said that the Zingbot referred to Amanda's tramp stamp (tattoo or lifestyle, take your pick).
  • The Zingbot's floater comment to Andy was about a pale ghost who likes to float.
  • Judd is still sick from the comp.
  • But his head is in the game even if his stomach isn't.
  • Elissa went back to her rather bizarrely timed laughter.
  • Elissa told Judd that she tried to work with Aaryn, but Aaryn is brainwashed by Amanda.
  • Judd told Elissa that Amanda needs to go before McCraa,
  • That's like preaching to the choir. Elissa knows this.
  • Judd and Elissa giggled over the thought of telling everybody threw the comp to Amanda so she could finally win something.
  • It cracked GinaMarie up when they told her, too.
  • McCrae laughed about it when he heard them say it.
  • But Amanda seemed to actually take pause and think about it.
  • Aaryn got all suspicious seeing Judd and Elissa whisper about it, then Judd whispering to McCrae.
  • She's sure they're conspiring against her!
  • Amanda boiled until finally she went on a rant screaming expletives at Elissa and yelling that she wasted a HoH.
  • Oh, well.
  • Amanda told GM that Elissa is using her.
  • Now Amanda thinks GinaMarie is back in their camp, especially if Aaryn remains in the house.
  • I'm not so sure of that.
  • But, then again, it's GM. Whichever way the wind blows.
  • Judd, Spencer, Andy and Elissa had a long, long talk in the cockpit room.
  • Amanda was very suspicious about that.
  • It looks like Andy is finally realizing that he might be better off with the group of free agents rather than tethered to the Amanda/McCrae train.
  • They believe, as long as they can keep GM in their camp, they have the votes to get Aaryn out.
  • When Amanda gave Judd the third degree prying for information about what happened in the cockpit room, he was very close-mouthed.
  • True, he doesn't open his mouth or move his lips when talking anyway.
  • But more so than usual close-mouthed.
  • Andy is scared that Aaryn will throw him under the bus and expose the 3AM alliance trashing him.
  • Oh, not to worry there, Andy. That's already been done.
  • Spencer and Judd are very, very tired of Amanda claiming to run the house.
  • Then change it, I say.
  • Judd thinks that they would have a better chance to get Aaryn out if GinaMarie was put up. Andy agrees with him.
  • (Of course, Andy realizes that he's an option for the block, so anyone other than him is agreeable in his eyes.)
  • I don't think Elissa will do that. She made a promise and she (so far) has stuck to her word in the game.
  • Andy and Judd have come to the realization that they don't want to be portrayed as people who did whatever Amanda dictates.
  • We have another full day of this until the veto ceremony.
  • While Amanda is safe for the week, I do think she is damaged.
  • I think she knows it, too.

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - August 25, 2013

Happy Sunday morning, world! Welcome to my off television topic weekly reflection on the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken along the way. If you're looking for Big Brother show or live feeds posts, you can find the latest at this link. This here post is done weekly throughout the year and is, as labeled, off topic. Hey, that's how I roll. You've been warned.

That said, I can't believe we still have about another month of Big Brother! I've gone around feeling like a zombie for weeks. There's but a small group of us who have had blogs or websites covering the show for years. Others show up, last a season or two, then fall off the radar. Yet, those of us who have covered it for years are almost like a family. I found out from That Dingo (hamsterwatch.com) that one of our own, DogDave (a.k.a. Aldav), who has done fantastic work on his website over the years, suffered a massive stroke this past January. Unlike many trying to struggle to make a living with the websites, I have a "real" job with real health insurance. I don't think he does. If you are a show fan still reading this off topic post, check out the link above. DogDave has been a constant all the years I've blogged. He followed this blog and we're Twitter buddies although I noticed he stopped tweeting sometime over the winter. Very sad news indeed.

On more of the local really off television topic stuff -- someone stole my newspaper this morning. I only get the Sunday paper hard copy as it allows me full online daily access at the website. I didn't get the paper delivered before that because someone would steal them. I'm usually up by five and generally have no problem because what other fool is up at five on a Sunday morning around here? I overslept today. Went down at 6:30 for it. It wasn't there. I suppose the delivery dude may have screwed up, but I'm fairly sure someone stole it. Yeah, I'm cynical like that. Grr.

We had a few 90 degree days, one day of torrential never-ending thunderstorms -- I can't recall thunderstorms lasting for hours and hours like that -- then it went back to my kind of weather. Cool overnights, low humidity, temperatures around 80. I wouldn't even mind a few degrees cooler. Come on, fall ... you know I love you!

I'm counting the days until my next staycation, the third week in September. It lines up with the Feast of San Gennaro week in Little Italy (NYC). So, dependent on weather, I might go there for a day. Whatever I do, I know I will get some rest. Woohoo. I forgot what that's like.

Onto the photos I took this week ...

As the sun sets

I took this shot last night upon arriving home from work. Well, not home home. I don't live at the Plainfield Train Station. The days are definitely getting shorter.

What says summer better?

But it's definitely still summer! The sunflowers seem to be blooming more, yet smaller blossoms than I've seen some years. East Front Street, Plainfield.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Saturday into the Evening, PoV Winner - August 24

Could it be a dunce cap?

Well, well, well ... the more things change, the more they remain the same. Here's what happened today in that Big Brother House of Dollar Store Toys for All the Girls and Boys:
  • An extended feeds block went down shortly after the hamsters got up.
  • Yep, it was the PoV comp.
  • And, Amanda finally won something.
  • Wah. Woe is me.
  • All of them have dunce party hats and gift bags of dollar store toys like finger Rock 'em Sock 'em robots, whoopie cushions, noisemakers, and such.
  • Those precious little hamsters are so easy (and cheap) to amuse!
  • Spencer checked with McCrae to make sure he'd be safe on the block against Aaryn. Both guys agreed that Aaryn is shady.
  • Only after Amanda won the veto did Aaryn tell her that Elissa had planned to backdoor her (Amanda).
  • Amanda told Aaryn that she (Aaryn) will be safe because she (Amanda) will make sure GinaMarie is the replacement nominee.
  • Now, how is she going to do that?
  • Elissa outright promised Judd, GinaMarie and Spencer safety.
  • That would leave Andy (who isn't trusted by Elissa) to go up replacing McCrae.
  • Amanda told Aaryn she would keep her over anyone, including Andy.
  • Hmm.
  • Truth or lie?
  • Aaryn thinks Elissa will try to work with Amanda now and told her as much.
  • Amanda said she'd murder her eat her in her sleep.
  • Oh my.
  • Oh, I don't think seriously murder her. No need to involve the authorities.
  • Elissa told Judd she doesn't trust Aaryn.
  • Well, duh. We knew that.
  • She also told him that she would put Andy on the block as the replacement nominee.
  • Well, I had that one right!
  • Elissa isn't laughing now like she did yesterday. She's very worried that she'll be going home next week. She really didn't think Amanda had it in her to win a comp.
  • Judd told her that if he wins HoH next week, he'll keep her safe.
  • Aaryn tried to convince Elissa she's on her side.
  • Oh, yeah, right. Elissa ain't buyin' those goods.
  • Amanda thinks the only person next week who might put her (Amanda) on the block is GinaMarie.
  • Thus and therefore, GM must go!
  • Amanda gave Aaryn a week to either get GinaMarie on the back or back under her (Aaryn's) control.
  • Oh my.
  • Andy fussed because the Zingbot called him a floater. Apparently the Zingbot made an appearance in the house today before the comp.
  • I say Andy's not a floater. He thought he was some kind of double agent, but he's just a spying lying tattletale who can't be trusted unless he's with the almighty Queen Amanda.
  • McCrae and Andy think if Spencer goes up, they'd rather keep him than Aaryn.
  • Meanwhile, Elissa and GinaMarie confirmed they had each other's backs. GM has lost all trust in Aaryn.
  • Amanda told Spencer and Judd that it's best to keep Aaryn as they can use her to go after targets as Amanda dictates.
  • @@
  • Elissa told GinaMarie that Andy must go on the block.
  • Judd, Andy and Spencer all tried to convince McCrae that they wouldn't be able to get Elissa to put GM on the block.
  • They're right.
  • But that's what AMANDA wants! And, if Amanda wants it, she should get it! [stamping feet]
  • McCrae thinks that Aaryn is lying and that Elissa isn't getting close to GM. He thinks Aaryn is just saying that because she doesn't want to be on the block with GinaMarie.
  • Ha. Right. No.
  • Amanda's new plan -- convince Elissa they have the numbers for Aaryn to stay no matter who is put up.
  • Aaryn tried to convince Elissa that GinaMarie won't still be working with Elissa next week.
  • GM told Aaryn that if she (GM) wasn't on the block, she'd vote for her (Aaryn) to stay.
  • Elissa confirmed with Spencer that he and Judd are safe this week.
  • Amanda's new plan -- a fake fight so they're all safe this week.
  • @@
  • It dawned on Andy that he's likely to be the replacement nominee.
  • Andy cried.
  • Andy vowed if he wins HoH next week, his targets would be Judd, Elissa or GinaMarie.
  • Then he cried again.
  • Spencer told Andy that McCrae told him that his (McCrae's) only chance of winning the game is for him (McCrae) to take out Amanda around the final four time.
  • Andy told Spencer about the 3AM alliance.
  • Aaryn told GinaMarie she realizes that Amanda isn't trying to keep her. If she were trying to keep her (Aaryn) in the house, she wouldn't want GM to be on the block as that would be a vote for her to stay.
  • Meantime, Andy's working himself into a frenzy about being put on the block.
  • Poor guy.
  • He cried to Amanda. He cried to McCrae. He cried to Spencer. He cried to himself.
  • Amanda started yelling at Elissa to go ahead and put Andy up! They will vote for Aaryn to stay no matter what and they'll all come after her.
  • Well, except Andy because he'd be home.
  • Hmm.
  • Amanda declared war. (She said that, not me. I'm just the messenger.)
  • McCrae told Amanda it doesn't matter that Andy goes -- it would be a vote for them in the jury house not done in by them. Same if Aaryn goes.
  • Andy cried to Elissa.
  • Spencer told McCrae that he thinks Elissa and Judd have a final two deal.
  • What's Spencer? The new Andy?
  • Spencer pledged loyalty to McCrae, Amanda and Andy.
  • Hmm.
  • All Elissa wants now is a nap.
  • Andy, too.
  • Me, too.
  • Laters!

Maybe the noisemaker will keep him from biting his nails

Oh geez ... look who won PoV
