BB21: Live Feeds into Friday Night, Nominations - Aug. 16

"I never DO anything!" We know.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Harried Hamsters:

  • Even though his mind was set up before winning HoH that he wants Christie out, Jackson did take time to talk to everyone.
  • Despite his initial thinking of putting Tommy and Christie up and then his secondary thought of Christie and Cliff, that's not what he did.
  • He has never heard or experienced any issues about either Tommy or Nick coming after him, but has with Christie and Analyse.
  • Hmm. WE know that Tommy is totally linked with Christie more than Jackson would think.
  • We also know that Nick goes whichever way the power goes.
  • Jackson has taken Cliff, Jess and Nicole under his wing despite the fact that Cliff just last week aligned with Christie and company.
  • In his talk with Jackson, Cliff told him he had to do it to stay in the game and that's all he really cares about -- he'll work with Jackson whatever he wants.
  • Yep, that's Cliff for you! But, right now Jackson will take it.
  • Nick does have influence over Nicole (unfortunately). But I think Nicole will definitely team up with Jess and go with her. And Jess will go with Jackson.
  • When all was said and done, Jackson made it clear that Christie was the target and Analyse was on the block with her because they both talked about trying to get him out of the house.
  • He talked with Tommy after the noms.
  • Tommy told him that if he gets chosen to play for the veto, he will try to win it and take Christie down.
  • Jackson told him he understands.
  • But … will Tommy do so? If he thinks about it, it wouldn't be the best thing for his own game at this point. If he thinks he has a shot at winning, he needs to shed Christie. If he doesn't play veto or loses it, he'll have a stronger connection with Jackson, Holly and company rather than the power of one Christie.
  • The plan is if Christie gets taken down, Cliff will go up and Analyse will get evicted. If Analyse gets taken off the block, Cliff goes up and Christie gets evicted. If Christie is up there no matter who is with her, Christie gets evicted..
  • Hmm.
  • Veto is tomorrow.

Obligatory after noms hugging session

Purely strategical. She wants to target me.

Watermelon culinary lesson for Cliff

"I'm a strong woman," she cries.

BB21: Live Feeds into Friday Morning - August 16

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine! Heh.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Losing the Lederhosen:
  • If you tuned into my previous update, you know the winner of the HoH Slip and Slide comp -- Jackson.
  • Apparently there's an Internet fuss going on that Jackson cheated. The only basis I can even fathom for that is that he took off the lederhosen and finished his comp in the t-shirt and boxer shorts.
  • Technically, I doubt there's anything in the rules barring disrobing.
  • Well, to a point, anyway. Get naked, get disqualified I assume.
  • Jackson was blowing through the comp and probably would have won lederhosen or not. For a while Nick was kind of keeping up with him, but his stamina faded.
  • Although I can never be a Jackson fan (or stan as they Twitterspeak these days), he has moved up some in my book since Jack left the house.
  • First off, he seemed to take the "talking to" sessions in the Diary Room over his behaviors fairly seriously. Unlike Jack, who has no family willing to be known by the viewers, Jackson does have a family and they would like him to represent their family with at least a bit of decency.
  • Second, he's turned on Christie and Tommy. And, at this time, I think he's the only one who will make a move against them. I'm still ticked that those two know each other so well outside of the house and BB didn't make it all "secret couples." Hey, make one or two … it's just setting up those players as having an unfair advantage from the get-go.
  • That said, I do still think that Jackson has some rather serious issues and is a walking health hazard in the house, both to himself and others.
  • Oh. Just to make a note -- Christie is unhappy.
  • Heehee.
  • Much more surprising than that -- Nicole had a huge extended crying session alone in the unused Have Not room. (They should close that down if they're not going to use it because they don't enforce their own rules.)
  • As a person, I think I like Nicole the most of anyone in the house this season. But she needs to toughen up and get her game on. She can't let the stress knock her to the floor. I'm not exactly sure what brought on the crying jag, but it seems to be the whole Kat/Cliff decision dilemma and her own frustration with how she's playing the game.
  • Jess made nicey-nice with Cliff telling him she had no hard feelings. She said she knew he was dealing to stay for his own safety. She also told him that she thought Kat was too mice of a person for a game like this.
  • Hmm. Now, what does that say about Cliff?
  • But she does have a point -- for the most part, nice people have trouble in the BB house -- especially this particular one, I think.
  • Jackson is definitely targeting Christie this week (Yay!). The only dilemma  for him is how to go about it.
  • Jess had a long talk with him and Holly. They know Tommy, Christie, Nick, Analyse and Cliff are a block. Er, an alliance. Although Cliff tried to recruit Nicole into that group, she never really committed. So, Jackson and Jess are pretty sure they can get her to vote with them.
  • While he originally kept saying he wanted Tommy and Christie on the block, he's pondering backdooring her or putting her up with Cliff so she loses a vote to stay. He thinks that will also let Cliff keep his word to Christie by not voting to evict her.
  • Hmm.
  • The nominations will be made today. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
  • On an interesting note that came up in the HOH room reveal, Jackson's father was 43 years old when he had him. He didn't say how old his mother is/was at the time. But he's their only child. It's not surprising he was pampered, I guess. I also found out that his father is a pianist named Fish Michie and looked him up online. Oh my. Quite talented! Plus, just on a personal live experience observation, having a creative talented artist type person for a parent can affect the child in odd ways. Just sayin' … not excusing Jackson's behaviors.
  • That's about all I have for you now.

Sans lederhosen = cheating? Nah.

BB21: Live Feeds HoH Comp Updates - August 15

When the live feeds return after the live show ends, I will be updating this post with coverage of the HoH comp. Refresh the page to get the latest update!

10:05pm ET - Feeds still showing adoptable dogs.

10:07pm - Feeds on, all in motion. Or a reasonable facsimile thereof.

Hmm. Blogger isn't letting me upload photos (screen shots). Grr.

10:08pm ET Quad Cam
10:16pm ET - Jackson and Nick seem to be in the lead. Jackson has a bit more than Nick in his stein.

1029pm ET - Cliff
10:33pm ET - As we could have guessed, Cliff and Jess are not good at this. Cliff moves like he's 100 years old, slow and steady. Jess moves slow and unsteady.

10:40pm ET - Jackson
10:47pm ET - Jackson's lead has really grown. He's way ahead of everyone, including Nick.

10:58pm ET - JACKSON IS THE NEW HOH!
Cliff wants to complete the comp, told them they can shut the lights down and all, but he wants to finish. I predict they won't let him as it would take him more than an hour longer!

BB21: Live Eviction Show Blog Party - August 15

Well, instead of the Fan's Choice for eviction tonight, it will be either Cliff or Kat leaving the house to join Jack in the jury house. Just the thought of being along with Jack for a week is rather frightening, right?

Judging from the scroll on the CBS website, it looks like tonight's HoH comp will be endurance and carried out on the live feeds after the live show ends here on the East Coast. I have a post waiting in the wings to spring up after the show so we can update during the comp once the live feeds return.

Lifeguard SueGee has updated the blog pool and you can find where you currently stand at this link.

I'll be live-blogging and constantly updating this post with the major events as the show airs here. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Once again this week, Julie says there has been chaos, vote flipping and alliances changing leading into tonight. Then we're to Previously On.

All starts off smoothly enough. Kat and Cliff say they won't throw each other under the bus. But then Nick wants to shake things up in the house -- breaking apart the six and going after Holly and Jackson. Christie would like to get Cliff on their side. Nick proposes a six with Cliff, himself, Christie, Tommy, Analyse.
Many scenarios about the voting are going around. Mick tells Nicole that she's the swing vote. Oh, not to put pressure on her. Nicole doesn't think she can really trust him.

Julie points out that Cliff made his secret deal to stay safe, but secrets don't always last in the house. Holly wants to keep Kat safe, but doesn't want to put her own game under the spotlight. Kat is campaigning, but doesn't know that Nick enlisted Cliff into a larger group.

Nicole is really in a quandary between the two nominees, both her closest friends in the house. Cliff talks to her and tries to get her into the larger alliance of six deal he has for safety. Nicole is wary. She thinks she should talk to Jess about it. She tells her the alliance wants Kat gone, leaves her (Jess) out of it and Jackson/Holly will be targeted.

Jess is upset because, once again, she's not included. She's tempted to blow up everybody's game. Nicole tells her they might be able to gather votes to keep Kat using Jackson and Holly. Of course, she tells her all this is to be kept in confidence. We know how that goes in the BB house.

Julie: "It's one thing to blindside your enemies, it's another to blindside your friends." I sense at least a kerfuffle, perhaps a brouhaha ahead. Kat, when told of the alliance Cliff made to get her out, is really crushed. She had trusted him. She confronts him. He claims he made the deal because he's on the block. She tells him she's disappointed in him. He tells her he will do what he needs to do and, at least it keeps Nicole and Jess in the game. He tells her he keeps the logic of the game separate from emotion. He tells us he feels bad, but needs to keep himself safe another week.

Jess tells Holly about the six. Holly tells Jackson. Christie and Cliff put more pressure on Nicole. Poor Nicole.

To the living room …
Kat - Third time on block, great summer, sad it's Cliff and me on the block, mentions all Cliff has done and yet he's convinced them that she's the bigger threat. Conspire away, bitches.
Cliff - Shout outs to family, love BB, signed up for the comps and to prove age doesn't matter, wants to stay, apologizes to Kat. He tells her he's not her father -- she had referred to him as such.

The votes to evict --
Nick - Kat
Christie - Kat
Analyse - Kat
Nicole - Kat
Jess - Cliff
Holly - Kat
Jackson - Kat

So, it's official. Kat has to go to jury alone with Jack for a week. Ew. The Julie interview is prime Kat and, once again, an extended interview will be posted on the CBS site.

The HoH comp is starting. It's the Slip and Slide. it's Augtoberfest. They will be filling mugs with beer, then across the slip and slide, fill their steins with beer. First to get the ping pong ball out, wins.

Join me over on the live feeds HOH update post to see what's happening!

BB21: Live Feeds into Thursday Morning - August 15

A sad day when these two seem "normal"

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Morals? What are morals?
  • Before we get going … it looks like tonight's HoH comp will be an endurance comp played out on the live feeds. I will supply an update post after the live show to cover it.
  • AND … if you live in the NYC viewing area, WCBS2 is airing some Jets football game. The sister station -- WLNY 10/55 will be airing the regularly scheduled CBS line-up at the regularly scheduled times. Check your local listings to see what station number they are. For me, it's 10. I assume it must be 55 in some places!
  • Okay … to the feeds.
  • Sigh.
  • First off, Nick has jumped in bed with Analyse (although he probably wouldn't mind jumping in bed with Tommy).
  • She is returning his attentions and there's a lot of undercover actions.
  • On Twitter, Bella dropped him like a hot potato.
  • I don't really see why she's surprised. After all, he jumped right in bed with her, too.
  • She had previously defended her own tryst with him claiming she's an adult and it's her decision to make. Oh, yeah … and there was that love thing supposedly going on.
  • I'm beginning to think the only "love" on the show this season is the love of sex. Now, if it was behind closed doors in their own homes, I wouldn't mind. But they brought it into mine. They're on camera and they know it.
  • Sleaze.
  • I fear Nick has slimed his way into Nicole's game. No way would he slime his way into her bed, but …!
  • She went and told him about Cliff's Angels.
  • Now, I do like Nicole probably the best of all in this house. But she has made some poor game decisions. Perhaps it will get her further in the game and she'll win every comp at the end.
  • But I doubt it.
  • Holly is still pretty dead-fast in wanting to keep Kat this week.
  • Jackson, on the other hand, doesn't feel he could vote for Cliff to leave because of loyalty stuff.
  • There was a big kerfuffle over the Six alliance, with Christie denying Tommy was ever really in it, Jess claiming it was seven and a big mess all around.
  • Christie got all dramatic (surprising, I know) and denied there ever was any kind of alliance.
  • Jess kept stirring the pot. You go, girl!
  • No fisticuffs, but lots of hurt feelings and angry aardvarks.
  • I just can't keep up with all these alliance changes by the minute this year.
  • The only totally together allies seem to be Christie and Tommy -- the unfair pairing with a long-term previous relationship unknown to the rest of the house.
  • Although … Cliff did make a comment yesterday about how they lived so close to each other, they just might know each other.
  • Kat cried, not only for her own predicament, but the fact that she thinks Jess will be targeted if she (Kat() gets evicted.
  • It's just a huge mess in there with people all over the place.
  • I do think it's probably going to be Kat going tonight.
  • But don't quote me on it.

Thrilling times, eh?

Doubt she'll win HoH this week

Total sleaze-bucket.

No dignity, not even for a chicken

Well, at least she isn't sex-crazed

BB21: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 14

Thankfully that awful yet renewed summer show is over and we're back to our 8pm ET/PT Wednesday night show.

I'll be live blogging and constantly updating this post with the major show events as they air here on the East Coast. As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Just a note for people in the NYC viewing area -- tomorrow's live eviction show will air on WLNY 10/55 instead of WCBS2 due to football.

I'll sit through the Previously On twiddling my thumbs once again.

The narrator promises us the annual OTEV comp. Woot.

We pick up the action after Tommy nominates Cliff and Kat. Tommy tells us that Cliff is definitely a pawn and Kat needs to go home. But he's very worried that Christie is on the block as the third nominee. Christie is crying … of course. Cliff would just as soon Christie go home, Jackson thinks the same.

Kat knows she's in danger, so she cries. Cliff does not cry, thank heavens. Jackson consoles her and tells her if he wins the veto he will help her. Cliff talks to her and says it's best that Christie stays on the block as she would go over Kat.

Now we're back to Christie crying. She tells Nick she believes in Karma. I do, too. She really thinks America doesn't like her. Heh. It's evident in the DR bits that if she remains on the block, without a doubt, she'll be voted out.

EW. A segment about Nick being in dreams, touching people. He has a crush on Tommy. Tommy thinks Nick is amazing? Well, that's at least according to the show edit, I guess.

Into a segment on Tommy shunning his costume and all of the speed of light, etc. rounds through the house.

Time to pick veto players -- Only two chips are pulled by Tommy due to the extra nominee. He first pulls, Christie … she picks Nick. He pulls Cliff who chooses Jackson (thinking he'd keep Christie up on the block).

Cliff is determined to survive another week. He's staring at the Memory Wall. He thinks he wants it more than many. So he dances. It looks like he's lost the weight Jackson has gained.

Analyse, in her chicken costume, talks to Jackson telling him she trusts him and Holly. She tells us she feels alone and it's best to get the six (or so) back together. Jackson tells her it's a chance to take a shot at Christie without them having the blood on their hands. She tells him that she's been thinking the same but on the other hand she's a big target and be a shield. Jackson is adamant he wants her out. He lets her think he agrees, but tells us he wants Christie out.

Time for the comp. OTEV is a Paranoid Pigeon. He wants them to stop staring at him. Pigeon patrol! Glop comes down on them. It's working the same as every OTEV.

In the first round, it's Cliff having a wrong item and he needs to go back. Will he make it back in time? Jackson is the only other one still looking. Cliff makes it back. All were correct and Jackson is out because he was last.

Round 2: It's a struggle between Kat and Cliff and she's in tears thinking she knocked him down. He's not upset, says his leg is bad and she needs to go on. Cliff is out.

Round 3: Christie out.

Round 4: It's down to Tommy, Nick and Kat in the comp. Kat out of it now.

Round 5: TOMMY wins the Power of Veto!

Christie is just as happy as if she had won it herself. After all, she "manifested" it. @@ In my opinion, it's just another failed production twist -- I'm peeved that Tommy and Christie have the advantage of really knowing each other well outside if the house.

Veto Meeting - Tommy uses the veto to save Christie (big surprise there). Since she was the third nominee on America's Field Trip, there is no renom. It's Kat and Cliff remaining on the block.

BB21: Live Feeds into Monday - August 12 UPDATED POV

Creeping me out more than Jackson these days

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Disappointment:

  • Okay, I'm officially discouraged with this season of BB.
  • Had production not secretly inserted two people with a lengthy prior relationship and no others really in the same situation, things would be going differently.
  • That said, it's amazing that Tommy and Christie have kept the secret.
  • But it shouldn't be happening in the first place. It sets them up for an advantage no one else has in the game. Yes, there are others who kind of know each other, but nothing so intense.
  • With Christie now as the third nominee, Tommy can save her with his veto and not have to put up another nominee -- get no more "blood on his hands" than he already has.
  • Before the field trip, he had told Cliff he'd try to take him down with the veto if he won it.
  • That's out of the window now … or, like I like to say -- defenestrated.
  • I can't really blame Tommy for making the easy all around move. I do think he will eventually turn on Christie, but not yet.
  • If he were to save either Kat or Cliff, he'd have to come up with another nominee.
  • So, logically, that ain't gonna happen.
  • Right now it looks that, of Kat and Cliff, Cliff will have more votes to stay.
  • Nicole, kind of the swing vote, told Cliff she'd vote to keep him and they've had more loyalty all along than she and Kat have had.
  • Holly and Jackson will likely vote to keep Kat.
  • Jess has had an on and off relationship with Kat, will probably vote for Cliff to stay.
  • Nick would probably vote to keep Cliff as would Christie and Analyse.
  • At this point, I'd personally prefer Kat stay. She's more entertaining to me and, since Cliff's unexplained and irrational fear of David, I'm a bit leery of him.
  • I predict the winner of BB21 will be someone I don't really like.
  • Sigh.
  • In other news: In other news, Analyse doesn't simply have to wear the chicken costume. Kind of like how Paulie did, she has "tasks" along with the costume.
  • When she gets the signal, she has to go outside and "lay an egg" then go to the storage room for a basket of eggs and cook them according to directions.
  • Guess what?
  • She really doesn't know how to cook. She had trouble understanding how to boil water for hard-boiled eggs.
  • She seems to be taking it in good enough spirits.
  • Jackson has been offering to help her.
  • As time goes on in the house, Jackson (other than rampant sex with Holly) is showing better behavior without Jack around.
  • On the other hand, Nick is coming across as more bullying and just creeping me out more and more.
  • Oh, well. The veto meeting should be later today. While it would be fantastic if Tommy let the noms all remain (hey, it could be fore his aunt!), I don't see it happening.
  • Oh … and Tommy's punishment ended. He's no longer in costume.
  • That's it for now.
  • Wah.
  • UPDATE - The suspense is over -- Tommy saved Christie. Kat and Cliff remain on the block.
I so see why the break-up was dramatic

Will go the easy choice

Already consider Christie safe

BB21: Field Trip & Nominations Show Blog Party - August 11

Come one, come all! It's time for a field trip! I'll be live blogging the major events as they air here on the East Coast. Since I'll be constantly updating this post, please refresh to see the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun.

Remember, this show post is a SPOILER FREE ZONE. While we know the outcome of the PoV, it will not be airing on tonight's show. Any comments pertaining to it will be removed. Thank you!

Previously on … yada-yada-yada …

"A new twist will send Tommy's HOH upside-down." That, of course, would be the field trip.

We pick up the action after Tommy wins HoH … on his birthday. He tells us that the Six Shooters will come back together. I would call them the Faulty Five if that happens. Jess is pleased that she got Jack out and that the six broke up. She hopes they don't try to get back together.

Christie is thrilled by Tommy winning. She thinks the Universe rewarded loyalty. Gag me now. Cliff talks with his gals, hopes he can count on them. He thinks he and Jackson will probably go on the block.

Kat is worried because Tommy tried to get the vote flipped the week she and Sam were on the block. Holly and Jackson think that Tommy shouldn't stay aligned with Christie. No one in the house is aware that Tommy and Christie have known each other for a decade or so. Tommy tells Jackson that he thinks the Six Shooters should come together. Jackson tells us he's not real happy with that, but it's Tommy's HoH.

Christie goes to Tommy's HOH room, cocky because she's sure she's safe. He tells her that he would like Kat and Cliff on the block. Christie thinks Kat is dangerous but close with Holly. Tommy tells her he might even take Cliff down and put Nicole up just to make sure Kat goes home.

Cliff goes to plead his case to stay off the block. He tells Tommy he has no alliance and is working by himself. Tommy promises him that if he does go on the block, he's not the target. Tommy wants to keep the door open to work with Cliff sometime down the road.

Kat is very worried and, at this moment, is being consoled by Jackson. She goes to talk to Tommy. Love, love all around. @@  She tells him that she would never put him up on the block and would never hurt his game. She tells us that's a lie. Tommy tells her he's not telling anyone what he's going to do. He denies that the Six are getting back together. She can tell he's lying.

America's Field Trip is announced and they run to the living room monitor. They were told America has been voting and explain the "prizes." Jackson, Analyse and Christie "win." Of course, the prizes are 1. safety for the week, 2. punishment, 3. third nomination.

Jackson recognizes it's more of a hit list of people not liked. Christie is in tears because she thinks it's something people who LOVE her wouldn't pick.

Analyse offers to Tommy to throw the comp so that Christie would stay. Tommy told her no but said to us that it might be for the best. Christie comes in and Analyse offers to throw it. Tommy tells her it's a good idea and if Christie sits on the block, they might just take a shot at her.

The ones not on the field trip watch on the living room monitor. It's the getting an egg up through the chicken wire, then down a ramp. Egscape the Coop. Angry chickens are atop the cages. We've seen this comp before. They have to spell out SAFE with four eggs they retrieve. Analyse tells us she plans to throw the comp so Christie won't go on the block. Jackson wants to win it and wants Christie to go on the block.

They talk about America hating them. Analyse doesn't think they could hate her because she "barely talks." I'm sure she was the alternate, mainly due to her connection with Jack. With Jack and Tommy getting votes and not eligible, she was next.

Jackson wins the safety! Christie is doing so poorly that there's no way Analyse could throw it without everyone realizing it.

Analyse comes in second and gets the punishment. Christie is the third nomination!

So … she cries at us in a DR segment. She's starting think America hates her. Aw, poor baby. I don't "hate" her. I just want her out of the house. I find her very annoying and think the Tommy real life connection is unfair to the rest of the house, should never have happened.

Tommy tells them it's not because America hates them. Jackson disagrees. Christie cries some more. Kat is thrilled Christie is up on the block.

Just about everyone but Tommy and Christie are happy she's on the block. Amalyse told Tommy she really tried but it would have been so obvious. Christie comes in and cries to them. Nick comes in and tells Christie if he wins the veto, he would save her.

Amalyse gets called to the DR for her punishment. She's in a chicken costume for a week. Nicole is scared of birds, so they play up on that.

Kat goes to Tommy with a deal -- she points out that if Christie remains on the block, she'd be a vote for her to stay. She tells us it's a big maybe, probably not. Tommy again says he doesn't know what he's going to do.

Time for the nominations ceremony. Tommy first nominates Cliff, then Kat. He says he's sorry and fears they have good working relationships with everyone in the house, go for the veto.

So we have Kat, Cliff and Christie on the block.

BB21: Live Feeds PoV Bulletin - Saturday, August 10

Most of the day before the feeds got blocked for the veto competition were consumed by Christie's drama and crying. I just can't write up a report on then.

The veto comp is over and the feeds are back.

Tommy won the veto. There goes my joy.

BB21: Live Feeds into Friday Night, Noms - August 9

Why the long face, Christie?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Triple Tripsters:
  • Three were voted to go on the field trip. They thought it a good thing.
  • Three prizes were awarded. One was safe from the block. One was a costume punishment. One was a nomination for eviction in addition to the two Tommy will choose.
  • Jackson won the field trip comp. So, he's safe for the week.
  • No big deal as he already was safe with Tommy as HoH.
  • Analyse was second in the comp, so she gets the costume. We all know she's not the brightest bulb in the pack, so being a dumb cluck is just about right for her.
  • Christie did the worst in the comp. Oopsie! She's a third nomination this week!
  • The ones remaining in the house were able to watch the comp on the living room monitor.
  • They know the comp was an America Votes thing.
  • Most are thinking it was popularity.
  • Tommy seems to realize that it was more along the lines of who's not liked by America. With Jack out of the running, Tommy seems to understand the only reason he wasn't in the comp is due to being HoH.
  • Yet, he did go through with his planned Kat/Cliff nominations (with Kat being the target).
  • Now, earlier ha had been telling Cliff he'd take him down, that he's up as a pawn and all.
  • But all that has changed.
  • He's now telling Christie he'll take her down if he wins the veto.
  • Christie is rotating between being slightly manic to being teary.
  • Then she pretends to be stoic.
  • When it comes to drawing for veto players, Christie will NOT get a chance to draw a chip.
  • Much will depend on the veto and if the three remain on the block as they are.
  • On what I thought of as a funny note -- Nicole, Holly and Jackson were together in a room. Jackson started attacking Holly with what she called his "crab toes" grip. Um, those might not be the only crabs, Holly? (No one else in the HoH has had mysterious rashes on their thighs and back.)

Keeps sliding through the cracks

Knew Analyse was a dumb cluck ...

Maxwell Smart ain't got nuthin'
on Holly's foot phone

BB21: Live Feeds Field Trip Bulletin - August 9

The live feeds were blocked for about seven hours as the field trip "winners" had their competition. Remember, one will be safe for a week, one gets a punishment and one gets to be a third nomination this week. I believe it goes by order of winning.

Guess who's the third nomination? CHRISTIE

Yep, it's what we wished for!

Jackson won the week's safety while Analyse will have the punishment costume (not in it as of yet).

Tommy still wants Kat to be evicted. Actual nominations have yet to be made.

BB21: Live Feeds into Friday - August 9

The health hazard remains in the house

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of One Jack Down:
  • Before I get into the live feeds, a few things first.
  • Number 1: If you haven't voted yet, go vote. Vote for Christie, Jackson and whomever you do NOT like. Yes, one of the three with the most amount of votes will get safety. But one will be a third nomination, the other will have a punishment. It's NOT a vote for who you like the most! The three will have to compete in a comp. The winner of that comp gets the safety. You do not need All Access to vote, but do need to register an account at CBS.com for tracking votes purposes.
  • Number 2: While you're at the site, check out the extended interview with Julie and Jack. I don't think you need All Access for it. If you do, scout about online for it. While it's not as confrontational as the one on the show, the goodbye messages are interesting. It also caught my interest how many times Jack called Jackson "Jackson" and then corrected to "Michie." That's something the show has pushed because they thought either we or the hamsters were too dumb to tell the difference!
  • Number 3: In reference to Jack's interview with Julie on the show, I personally think he was warned or even coached ahead of time. And, it seemed like his story about rice pudding is a lie. I never saw the conversation he talked about, but I don't see everything on the live feeds. The internet has scouted the previous conversations from that day and no discussion of rice and slop pudding exists on the feeds. The only discussion found that talks of pudding and slop didn't include Jack.
  • Okay, now to our regularly scheduled live feeds talk …
  • For the record, I think Tommy is the first (and worst) costumed HoH winner. He isn't getting relief from it and I believe he won't get out of it until after/during the veto comp.
  • Poor baby.
  • Heh.
  • While the feeds were blocked yesterday, each hamster had two trial practice runs in the comps. From what they said, the times during those practices were nowhere near as close as the ones in the televised comp.
  • As I mentioned before, Tommy really didn't want this HoH (or any to this point). It's putting him on the spot and getting blood on his hands.
  • Poor baby.
  • Nick told Tommy he threw the comp because he didn't know what to do with an HoH this week.
  • Kat, feeling that Tommy might target her, ran to Tommy with all kinds of explanations about how she had to vote for Jack to leave to protect Jess.
  • Hmm. They don't realize that Tommy also voted for Jack to go? Hmm.
  • Tommy told them that he was going to talk to everyone before making a decision.
  • Then he went and told a slew of them that they were safe. One by one, but …!
  • Of course, Christie is safe. But we all knew that. (She won't necessarily be safe if she ends up being the third nomination. But would the votes be there to get her out? Possibly not, but it would be an awakening for her!)
  • He told Holly, Analyse and Jackson that he wouldn't put them on the block.
  • Jackson offered to be a pawn, would rather not, but if needed.
  • Tommy told him he'd be reluctant to do that because it's risky.
  • Tommy also told Jackson that he has a target, but won't tell anyone who it is because he doesn't trust anyone. Hmm.
  • He told Jackson that he's not planning on putting any of the Six Shooters (or Faulty Five in my mind now) on the block.
  • That's not a surprise to me. Are you shocked?
  • For some reason, Nick hung out with Nicole a lot. He told her he threw the comp even. What's he up to? I thought he'd be flirting with Tommy!
  • Analyse and Christie talked about what a big threat Cliff is in the game and how he needs to be backdoored.
  • It seems that, although Holly once referred to the Jack/Analyse relationship as "not a showmance, just two people having sex" Analyse might still be carrying the torch for Jack. She told Christie that if she was HoH, she'd put Holly and Jackson on the block … and then backdoor Cliff.
  • Christie and Analyse said that, due to the big move she made, if Jess gets to the end, she has their vote for the win.
  • We'll see about that!
  • In Tommy's HOH room, he got pictures which included his aunt … Christie's ex.
  • All continued in Kumbaya mode for Tommy's birthday cake and celebration. Note that there are no Have Nots this week. Perhaps it's due to not wanting to take action about Jackson's cheating.
  • Tommy and Christie talked alone for a while. He knows that Christie has a bit of a soft spot for Nicole and he himself seems to like her. He told Christie that although he's targeting three of the bunch, he won't be putting up Nicole.
  • Phew!
  • C'mon, Nicole! I personally like you the best, but you need to WIN something!
  • Ahem. That was just me. Carry on.
  • Tommy told Christie his target is Kat. I thought he said he wasn't going to tell anyone?
  • He's thinking of Kat and Cliff on the block and even saving Cliff if he wins veto.
  • He might put up Nicole in his place as a pawn just to make sure Kat goes.
  • NONONO! Tommy! Don't put her up as anything!
  • Ahem. Just me again.
  • He is getting increasingly worried that people will tie him and Christie together. He told her he voted for Jack to to go mainly to show they weren't working together -- it would be obvious that Christie and Analyse were the two votes to keep Jack.
  • Tommy also told Christie that he thinks Nick is building an "army" and trying to align with Jess and others.
  • I guess he's not falling for Nick's flirting.
  • Cliff talked to Tommy, trying to go for his safety. He told him that he had promised Jess before Jack tried to deal with him. Plus, he never did nor would he put Christie or Tommy on the block.
  • What? He's tying Christie and Tommy together?!?! But, no one knows about that!
  • Heh.
  • Tommy ended up telling Cliff that if he does put him on the block, it would be as a pawn.
  • Kat talked to Tommy. He did not tell her she was his target. I don't think she changed his mind, though.
  • Well, well, well. Y'see, Nick told Nicole that Tommy said the nominations would be Kat and Cliff. Nicole went and told Tommy that she heard it. Tommy now knows that Nick repeated something he said in confidence to Nick. Heehee!
  • Of course, Nick is angry that Nicole told. But Nicole and Nick have never been close. He just tried to worm his way in with her like he does all over the house.
  • Tommy told Nick she didn't do it maliciously.
  • Tommy also offered Nicole room in the HoH bed for the night. He told her he loves her and her zest for the game.
  • She turned him down on the bed offer.
  • But I do think she's safe this week.
  • Kat, perhaps not so much.

Will Nick's flirting with Tommy save him?

Who wants to see a photo of my aunt?

Third nom this week would be okay, right?

First and worst HoH costume

BB21: Live Eviction, HoH Show Blog Party - August 8

So … will it be Jack or Jackson leaving tonight? Guess what? I don't care -- either of them out of the house is a good thing! Tonight's evicted is the first jury member.

SueGee's latest blog pool update can be found at this link. I was out of the pool when Sam got the boot last week. I'm sitting in the lounge chair drinking an adult beverage watching y'all swim around.

I'll be live-blogging tonight's show as it airs here on the East Coast, constantly updating this post throughout the show with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party can be found in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Julie opens with "Oh, how the mighty have fallen." Then we're into the Previously On segment. Ah, at least it sounds like the HoH comp will wrap up with tonight's show. That's relieving.

We're starting off with the end of the veto meeting. Julie promised us that we'll be seeing the punishments for the Jacks. Jackson first, he's the Area 21 Alien Doctor. He has to perform alien autopsies on command for 24 hours. He gets all slopped up with glop each time he does it. Oh, poor guy. Heehee. He can't get much sleep and has to clean his lab coat(s) each time.

Then it's to Jack's punishment. He receives an alien visitor. The alien will be studying him for 24 hours. He also tends to annoy the rest of the house by doing things like repeatedly ringing the doorbell. The alien is angry and starts being messy, too. Dumping flour and other substances on Jack. Oh, poor Jack. Not!

Into a segment with one last trick up Jack's sleeve (according to Julie). Tommy thinks the Six Shooters should try to stick together. Jackson says he won't campaign against Jack. And, the six meet up once again. Christie seems to want to make it all about her. Jackson talks about violating trust and Jack admits it, apologizes. He leaves the room after telling them he loves them all. Jackson refuses to buy any of what they're selling. He tells us there is no alliance and it isn't Christie's game. He's not doing it any more.

Jack is campaigning, hitting up Nick. He needs one more vote to get Nick to go along with it. He figures Cliff might be his best shot. He offers a deal to Cliff, telling him that he would for the next four weeks not target him and be willing to go on the block. Cliff tells us he just might consider it.

Time for the live vote and eviction, to the living room.
Jack -- 51 days, learned so much about you all. He makes comments about Christie's eating habits! Heh. A little about each one of them. Kind of cute. Go be great because you all are.
Jackson -- Many shout-outs. Things taken to a personal level, I know what I said and what I didn't say. Won't campaign against Jack.

The votes to evict:
Holly - Jack
Analyse - Jackson
Christie - Jackson
Nicole - Jack
To commercial …
Cliff - Jack
Nick - Jack
Tommy - Jack
Kat - Jack

Kat apparently is giving her Hawaii trip to her parents.

By a vote if six to two, Jack is evicted. Julie tells them they have a lot to discuss. She talks about the break-up of the alliance. He says he lived and died by trusting Christie and Tommy. Why target Kemi? He says she insulted Jackson' cooking. Bad stuff he said about her in clips. Heh. He looks embarrassed and says his statements were playful in a room of people, he apologizes. Goes to a Bella clip with the rice pudding comment. His response -- he claims it was due to an earlier conversation about rice in slop pudding. He claims he needs some time to himself. He advises people if they're thinking of going on the show, don't. Heh. More in an extended interview, including his goodbye messages, online.

Time for the HoH comp! The yard has a river. Time me a River. Start to finish, taking a kayak down the river -- closest to nine seconds wins.

Cliff - 9.70 seconds
Christie - 9.19
Tommy - 8.90 leading now
Nicole - 10.02
Jackson - 9.39
Kat - 11.29
Analyse - 9.14
Holly - 10.07
Nick - 9.82

TOMMY WINS HOH!

The Wednesday show is back to 8pm now that the disgusting evil show ended.

BB21: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 7

Jessica has nominated Jack and Jackson for eviction. Will the power of veto winner change our dream nominations? Yeah, I know many of us already know. But, since this is a show post, please don't post any spoilers in the comments! Some folks only follow the shows and the posts on show nights. They don';t know what they're missing!

Just a note -- we've been having severe weather here for a number of hours and even a small tornado touching down a few miles away. If I stop posting, it might mean my power is out. I'm setting up this post ahead of time. If you see no updates, feel free to post updates in the comments section.

I hope to be live-blogging as the show airs here, updating this post with the major events (weather and power permitting). Refresh the page to get the latest happenings! Aa always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Time to bide my time sitting through "Previously on …"

We pick up after the nominations ceremony ends. Jess tells us it's up to her to do what Cliff couldn't do. Of course, we hear from Jackson, Christie and Jack about how each needs to win this veto. Jack is certain it will be Jackson going home.

Jackson has isolated himself from others. Well, maybe not from Holly, but …@ He's showing a bitter side and it's not pretty. Then again, a lot of Jackson isn't pretty. Holly thinks, due to her relationship with Kat, she might get Jackson off the hook with Jess.

Kat is worried that Jack might convince Christie to use her power if he or she wins the veto. Jess refuses to play it safe and get rid of a pawn. Jack is working on his buddies to play if he gets HG Choice. He's so certain he'll win anyway. Meanwhile, Jess tells her allies that she wants the nominations to remain the same. She makes a possible mistake in telling Nick that she prefers Jack go.

Time to pick players for the veto comp! Jess randomly draws Houseguest's choice and goes for Kat. Jack gets HC, too. He picks Tommy. Jackson draws Nick.

Christie tells Jack that she wants Jackson out. She proposes going to Jess and making a deal not to use (the last week) her power. If Jack wins veto, she could give it to him to make the renom. If she doesn't use it, Jess could put up her (Christie) … oh noes!

Jackson thinks if anyone besides himself is the winner, he'll go home. So, of course, HE must win veto.

Time for the veto comp … it's going to OUT OF THIS WORLD. They're in the BB Galaxy and there's a rocketship. Series of rounds, board space craft, go for a spin, launch your rocket. Fewest points in each round eliminated. They each get a prize, but can keep it or trade it. Last one standing can take any prize. Each round becomes more difficult.

Nick is up first. They have to crank a catapult thing to launch the rocket while their rocket ship is spimming. 18 points. Tommy 6, Kat 2. Jess 12. Jack 21. Jackson 12. Kat out in first round, gets the veto!

Round 2 -- Tommy 15. Jess 10. Jack … to commercial … 0 (YAY) Jackson 18. Nick 5. Jack is our and his prize is a trip to Hawaii. He gives it to Kat and takes to veto.

Round 3 -- Jess 4, Jackson 4. Nick 5, Tommy 1. Tommy is out and his prize is an Angry Alien following him around for 24 hours. He takes the veto from Jack.

Round 4 -- Jackson 0, Nick 15. Jess 10. Jackson out. His prize is BB Explorer for the next week sent on missions across the house. He takes the veto from Tommy.

Round 5 -- Nick 17. Jess 28. Nick out, he gets five thousand and keeps it.

Jess, 1st place, gets Area 21 alien doctor on call for 24 hours in case an alien arrives. She takes the veto from Jackson and he gets the punishment.

Jess does a Chill Town type phone call in the DR to the jury house.

So, now the quandary is whether they have enough votes to get Jack out. Kat tells Jess that Nick would vote to keep him. Christie is worried that they'll vote out Jack when Jackson is Public Enemy Number One. Heh. Jess is eavesdropping at the door as Christie/Nick/Jack talk about their plans. Jackson lies to her and claims he was eavesdropping and talking about Nick plotting to keep Jack. Now, he couldn't have been there because she was!

Nick has been caught telling both Jack and Jackson will have his vote, though. Jess and the others were right to be leery of him.

Tommy gets his rocket costume and he looks silly. It makes him look like a little kid. When he gets his call of duty, he must go to each room and announce the speed he's traveling at -- speed of light, sound or smell. Each speed has the accessories like flashlight, air horn or smelly stuff. The punishment  wakes them all up so he's not the only one suffering.

Time for the veto meeting. It's interrupted by the Speed of Smell alert. Jess does NOT use the veto (duh) and her nominations will remain the same. Jack and Jackson remain on the block and one will go home. She is determined it will be Jack.
