Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Into Sunday Afternoon - July 22

Explaining his normal day at college

When the hamsters don't have much to do, things tend to get a bit on the boring side. Right now, other than the usual HoH dreams down the road, the only thing on the agenda is the PoV meeting. Here's what's been going down in that Big Brother House of Bodacious Beauties (er, well ...):
  • Obviously, Shane will be removing himself from the block. He's no Marcellas!
  • Almost as obviously, Danielle will be going on the block with JoJo.
  • So, the only dilemma will be who to send home.
  • While Danielle thinks she's surely out the door, she's probably wrong.
  • Y'see, Frank and Boogie have been scheming with Shane.
  • JoJo will be the likely target, although Shane has already told them he needs (due to loyalty) to vote to save her.
  • I actually won't miss JoJo if she go-goes.
  • But, Danielle wouldn't really be missed by me, either.
  • As long as my pretty pool boy Shane stays in the game!
  • Some of the hamsters had margaritas yesterday.
  • I'm thinking they might get beer or wine tonight as there are no comps set.
  • Wil brought up the point that Willie had spoken of his felony arrest for beating up a new boyfriend of an ex of his.
  • Huh. Was it that important to get a Hantz in the house that they needed one with a felony record of violence?
  • Janelle admitted a shoplifting (make-up) charge is on her record dating back to when she was a teenager.
  • Janelle also said she'd like to be on Survivor. Now, that could be interesting!
  • They really haven't done much this morning.
  • For some reason, they have Ian detailing his regular day and Resident Assistant duties at the dorm.
  • I don't like how JoJo seems to be mocking him with her facial expressions while the rest just keep asking him questions.
  • I believe, although Boogie doesn't keep him in the loop as close as he does Frank, Ian is in much better straits with the house on the whole.
  • How can you not like the kid?
  • On the other hand, Joe is kind of dangerous. He loves to run around instigating problems with bits and pieces he's heard.
  • Boogie is actually putting a more normal face on in the house despite the Diary Room sessions you see on the show.
  • He has matured some.
  • The ego bit seems more reserved for television this season, not the way he's actually been in the house.
  • Oh my.
  • There ya go -- a whole lotta nuthin' with the exception that the target seems to be shifting to JoJo.
  • Stop on back later for the show blog party!

Fearful Danielle

I totally understand, Britney.

Eek, Tom Cruise with Bieber hair!

Off Topic - That Was the Week It Was - July 22, 2012

Good Sunday morning to y'all! For those folks looking for Big Brother live feeds reports, my most recent one is here. I will be posting another one sometime this afternoon -- there hasn't been much happening since the last one. You may want to skip over this post. Every Sunday I post an off television topic reflection on the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken. And, this is it! You've been warned.

As for this week ... I've met the Zombie Apocalypse and its name is Jackie.

Returning to work after vacation is always a challenge for me. Various people have been in my office filling in for me. So, returning is always greeted with bizarre things done, my office stuff moved around and you name it. This past Monday I was also greeted with training a new manager in there while it's all discombobulated. Sigh.

Then I was informed that on Tuesday we would be receiving a visit from (afar) to certify us as a "University" location ... training any and all new management. I had to get the layout of my office up to their specs and make sure everything was perfect. I was there nearly 12 hours on Monday. Sigh.

Mind you, I had also been sick the first part of my vacation and was still feeling not quite up to par.

There was also yet another heat wave. I hate heat waves. With all the science and technology, you'd think that climate control could be an actuality. It's bad enough we don't have flying cars in every garage. Is climate control too much to ask? It could be the end of droughts ... and severe heat waves!

Then, of course, it was the first full week of my busy blogging season, too. I have to get back into the swing of that. When you blog Big Brother live feeds reports two or three times a day atop a really full time job, well ... it's not the easiest thing and sleep gets cast aside for a few months.

Between being the Walking Dead and the weather being a gazillion degrees with high humidity or raining, I really didn't feel inspired to take many photos. But I did take a few I like and want to share with you. Clicking on an image will open it on a new page, clicking again will make it larger. Just close out the new page to return back here to the blog.

Woodpecker
Woody!

I heard him before I saw him. This was early in the morning as I headed to the train, so the light wasn't really great. But there he (she?) was on East Front Street in Plainfield. Because I'm not really seeing the top of the head, I'm taking a guess that it's either a Hairy Woodpecker or a Red-Bellied Woodpecker.

Moth
Mothy!

Don't even expect me to know what kind of moth this is! Also on East Front Street.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Report Into Saturday Evening - July 21

Britney talks to the live feeders

Without Little Willie, the house is definitely not quite as on edge as it's been. Yet, edge is still there. This coach twist is creating situations unlike we've seen before on the show. Should the new hamsters do their coach's bidding? What if they prefer an alliance with someone from another team? The more I watch, the more unfair it does seem to the hamsters. They're really not being allowed to play their own games. Oh, well.

What's been happening in the Big Brother House of Hilarious Hijinks? Read on ...
  • If I lived there, I would NOT eat any food Joe prepared.
  • What kind of chef keeps digging into the food with his fingers, eating some, licking his fingers?
  • EW! Culinary school does NOT teach that, I know they don't!
  • Ian saved some of the pork rinds in a baggie, saying he's going to sell them on eBay.
  • Yeah, that'll work.
  • The PoV comp, blocked to the feeds, went down.
  • My pool boy Shane won. Way cool!
  • Danielle is sure she's going on the block.
  • I'm sure she's right.
  • Too bad, so sad.
  • The pads BB gave them for the weird beds in the Have Not room helped a bit.
  • I still wouldn't want to try to sleep in one of those beds!
  • Britney and Boogie think number-wise, the evicted hamster this week should go to the jury house (9 jury members), but week-wise it wouldn't work out.
  • Danielle cried.
  • There's your big excitement for the day.

Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Quickie - PoV

I'll be posting a full report later tonight, but feel the need to mention that Shane won the Power of Veto!

Yay!

Discussions

Oh my. Willie threw a temper tantrum and got expelled from the house due to physical violence (head-butting Joe). Are any of us REALLY surprised? Undereducated and unable to control his temper. Oh well. I dedicate the following song to Willie Hantz ... but he DID go home!

Here's the skinny on the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Bad Examples:
  • Everyone is basically getting along.
  • Frank had a long talk with both of the nominees -- Shane and JoJo.
  • They were nominated mainly because they did indeed follow Willie and vote to evict Frank.
  • Danielle voted for Kara but she had told Frank before the vote that she had promised her and wouldn't break her word.
  • Boogie is on the top of the world and suddenly not sleeping so much.
  • The gold (harem) pants Dan wore for the coaches comp were referred to as MC Hammer pants. Hmm.
  • Most shave their pubic hair.
  • We don't really need to know that, do we?
  • Today the PoV comp should be held.
  • Laters!

Julie Chen is his homegirl? Don't think so!
