Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Wednesday Evening - August 22

In better spirits today

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Real Home Cooking:
  • The biggest excitement (maybe only excitement) was they had an oven fire in the house today.
  • I think it was Brett cooking. He and Kaycee were the only two in the kitchen.
  • No cameras were on in the kitchen when it first ignited.
  • From the living room cam watching Scottie and Sam, you could hear two thumps or bangs and see smoke bursting forth in the kitchen.
  • Brett yelled, "We have a fire! We have a fire!"
  • (I added the Defense bit in the photo; he was serious.)
  • Thinking it was Brett, they thought he was joking.
  • But then they knew it was serious.
  • The feeds cut right away and stayed away for quite a while.
  • One thing I noticed is that no smoke alarms went off immediately.
  • Heck, I can cook bacon and set mine off with no real fire!
  • In other news, Haleigh now says she always liked Angela and is glad she's closer to her lately.
  • She said in the past she was just worried Angela would target her.
  • Heh, heh, heh.
  • Tyler let Fessy teach him all about how they should play the game from this point forward.
  • Heh, heh, heh.
  • I think everybody, except maybe Brett, is scared what will happen when/if Sam goes on the block.
  • But Brett has other targets first.
  • Sam didn't kill anyone.
  • But, just the little things ... like a whole group is having fun in the kitchen and she's there, too. She's in her own little world looking at her spider in a jar.
  • As we could all guess, she did spend a lot of time with Scottie.
  • They're still worried it will be a double eviction tomorrow.
  • Let them worry.

We have a fire! Defense! Defense!

Yes, Fessy. Thanks for teaching me the game!

Big Brother 20: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 22

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging it -- refresh the page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the discussion!

Tonight's veto comp should be very entertaining! Grab your adult beverages and settle in a comfy chair ... perhaps you might want to wear a pancho if you're int the front seats. This could get messy.

We'll sit out the previously on. Of course, the narrator did rhyme Fessy with messy. They probably stole that from the Internet!

We pick up at the end of the nominations ceremony. Fessy is still on his "someone's lying" trip. Brett is thrilled that he got Fessy to put his own alliance member on the block. And, JC is just as thrilled that he got Fessy to put Scottie on the block.

Scottie is rightfully shocked.

Level 6 knows they have the numbers to send Scottie packing ... as long as he doesn't win veto.

Haleigh knows that they have no one else and should keep Scottie. She's sure that Scottie was the one vote to evict Kaycee and isn't lying about it. She tries to tell him that Angela, Kaycee and Tyler are working together and now they'll pick them off. Fessy pooh-poohs the idea and says it's just a game. Haleigh vows to us if she wins veto, she'll take Scottie off the block.

Veto players pick time --
Fessy draws Angela, Scottie draws HG Choice and picked Haleigh, Brett draws Tyler.

JC works more on Fessy telling him that Scottie picked Haleigh because he's playing an emotional game. Fessy lectures Tyler on how to play the game -- after all, they're the only ones winning comps. Hey, Fessy ... it's not all about winning comps. Tyler plays along.

ZingBot arrives. They all go crazy for the nasty robot.

Calls Angela soulless, heartless and emotionless.
Haleigh, what do you call someone who's blond, blue-eyed and has a crush on Brett? Scottie!
Kaycee -- Has all the viewers shouting let's go .. to another channel.
Brett -- You're always fresh and clean because you're a giant douche.
Tyler -- Orders extra greasy, crispy and zits and it's Tyler.
Fessy -- Part time teacher? Full time moron. Every child left behind.
JC -- Only thing bigger than your accent is your back hair.
Haleigh -- Good reading Hamlet, the real tragedy was your HoH reign.
Sam -- You love to tell everyone how real you are. You are real, real _____ crazy! (They play horror music.)

It's the Hide and Go Seek at Zing-A-Lago, It has taken a political bend hiding a compromising photo of President ZingBot and each of them. They go in individually to hide their vetos -- all in closed look alike folders.

Haleigh hides hers in the ottoman. Fessy hides his at the back of the drawer. Brett hides his in a pillow and promises he'll keep it safe. Tyler hides his in a pair of Sam's pants figuring no one has the nerve. Anglea hides hers in the oven covered by coffee grounds. Scottie hides his under the sink in the bathroom.

Haleigh times out. So does Fessy. Brett doesn't even look -- he barricades his own with mattresses. Tyler time out. Scottie uses his time to sabotage the floors with chocolate milk and vegetable oil. Brett slips, slides and hides his veto more. Fessy threw sugar all over.

Tyler was the first one to find a veto -- it was Angela's.
 Scottie found Tyler's.

Brett runs through yelling "Defense! Defense!" He further buries his folder.

Fessy found the third folder -- Haleigh's.
Scottie has found Fessy's folder.
Haleigh found the fifth one.

Angela out, then Tyler out, Haleigh out, Fessy out, Scottie out.

Now Fessy has to choose another nominee. He was comfortable with Brett and Scottie on the block and Scottie likely to go home.

BRETT wins the Power of Veto!

They played Psycho music for Sam's reaction to the mess.

JC works on Fessy to ensure Scottie goes home.

Sam and Scottie talk. She doesn't think Haleigh was the hacker. Scottie is just confused. The thought to make Fessy put Haleigh on the block against him comes up. Sam is sure she can convince Fessy to put her up. Now she likes playing the game.

Sam pushes the idea on Fessy. He's half-awake and dumbfounded. (Dumber than usual.) She tries to get him to pinky-swear on it. He won't commit. Then Scottie hits him up for the same thing referring to Haleigh as Kaitlyn 2.0.

Now Fessy is more confused than ever -- although putting Haleigh up isn't in his mind.

For the first time ever, they're holding the renom back until tomorrow's show.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Wednesday Morning - August 22

JC won't talk game with Fessy, but ...!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Lonesome Loons:
  • As far as the bottom line for tomorrow's eviction, all remains the same.
  • Scottie will be voted out either unanimously or perhaps with Sam's vote for him to stay.
  • Haleigh, not knowing she'll never be a part of the group, is increasingly spending time with everyone other than Fessy.
  • When she is with Fessy, they bicker more often than not.
  • Fessy is still very proud of his big game move this week -- knocking one of his two remaining allies out of the game.
  • It reminds me of a rather juvenile saying.
  • I'll say it anyway -- smooth move, ExLax.
  • Sam turned in her cigarettes.
  • It's hard to predict her behavior hour by hour, giving them up will add fuel to the fire.
  • Plus, of course, she's on slop this week and fussing about that.
  • Scottie had his talk with Haleigh. After much wasted small talk, he apologized for his actions (wanting Fessy to put her up as the renom) which he said he did in desperation.
  • As she had discussed with Angela earlier, she accepted the apology.
  • After all, he's going to be evicted Thursday.
  • Brett and Tyler had an extended whispered strategy meeting in the bathroom.
  • In addition to other current events and catching up on spy stuff, they talked about Sam.
  • Brett pointed out that she always gets close to the one likely to be evicted and loves them so much.
  • He thinks it's her plan for jury votes.
  • They both noted that she has final twos with everyone in the house.
  • They both think she might be America's Player.
  • They both think her alternating between begging to go home and then reverting back to how she doesn't need to be there, she's only there to show each one love and compassion ... the whole thing is getting tired.
  • Brett told Tyler that Sam told him she could leave anytime she wants. He told her to go then. But she told himm the house needs her.
  • @@
  • I actually did not see that Brett/Sam discussion, but it sounds like her.
  • In a different whispered conversation, Tyler told JC that they need to keep Brett informed and part of it all, but he (Tyler) must keep Kaycee and Angela closer to him than they are to Brett.
  • He doesn't want to go head-to-head with Brett.
  • The Level 6/4 Plus JC group seem to be of the opinion (as long as Haleigh doesn't win HoH) that Fessy needs to go before Haleigh.
  • The talk is Sam/Haleigh on the block, tell each one they're a pawn, If one comes down, Fessy up.
  • Just based on that ... oh, and past performance ... I doubt JC will win. No way does he want to be the one to put up Fessy.
  • While I think he's jumped off the Fessy Coattails, I don't think he's ready to break his promise.

Who is she this hour?

Kaycee needs to step up her game

Scottie finally talked to Haleigh

Whisper game talk

More whispers ... shhh ...

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - August 21

If only Steve had stayed

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Rascally Rodents:
  • Sam had it out with Scottie because she got wind that he told Fessy to put her on the block.
  • Scott did a "Fessy is setting me up for everything" bit, then admitted it and apologized.
  • Of course, she'll always love him and will forgive him. But all she asks is honesty.
  • @@
  • JC is all grouchy and bent out of shape, mainly at Fessy.
  • Why? Because Fessy put him on slop.
  • He does have a point -- there were others that were "next in line" for it before him.
  • JC is also continuing his not talking game to Fessy.
  • Tyler and Angela SO want to bring their showmance to fruition.
  • But they are going to settle for after the show. Neither want to hurt their games by being targeted as a couple.
  • JC seems to be the only one who's really picked up on them.
  • Scottie swears that, if he stays, he will target Fessy.
  • He won't be staying, though.
  • Someone else will have that task.
  • Tyler, Angela and Kaycee want to make a point of touching base more often with Brett so he doesn't feel like the odd man out of Level 6/4.
  • Sam and Angela talked about Scottie trying to get Fessy to nominate Sam. Angela pointed out that if he had, Scottie would probably have come up with all kinds of ammunition to get her evicted instead of himself.
  • So now Sam is worried who else will be out to get her.
  • Great. Make her paranoid.
  • She cooks the food.
  • Sam also told Kaycee that she's going on nicotine patches and throwing out her cigarettes the next lockdown.
  • This all sounds like a recipe for insanity!
  • They had an indoor lockdown when someone outside of the house started calling for JC.
  • I'm surprised people aren't sending cheap drones in with messages, myself.
  • Some think this week is going to be a double eviction.
  • We know it won't be because there would have been all kinds of hoopla about it.
  • One should be coming soon.
  • Scottie told Tyler he talked to Sam about trying to put her on the block and he thinks she accepted his apology.
  • Tyler asked him if he talked to Haleigh about trying to get her put on the block.
  • Um, not quite.
  • Scottie told Tyler he thinks Fessy is the one flipping the votes. If he stays, he'll go after him.
  • Ha.
  • I expect them to spend a lot of time in the yard and not talking game tonight.
  • That's it!

Enjoy the yard while you have it

Why is JC mad at me?

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Tuesday - August 21

Girls just want to have fun

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Odious Ocelots:
  • Sam's pleasantries with Tyler after her period relief didn't last too long.
  • She's really bent out of shape that Fessy didn't use her idea of nominating Haleigh in Brett's place.
  • I know we know more than any individual in the house because we're privy to more interactions.
  • But, no one in the house other than perhaps a desperate Scottie would ever even think that Fessy nominating his closest ally would be a possibility.
  • Common sense. He's a dim bulb, but not that dim.
  • He'll nominate one of his allies, but not the closest one who just happens to be his showmance gal!
  • "I won't even try to play anymore."
  • "I want that helicopter to drop a rope so I can escape."
  • "I want this to be over with."
  • Wah, wah, wah, wah, wah ... I'm starting to imagine Charlie Brown's teacher's voice when she complains about the game.
  • She feels so bad for Scottie -- he's a person! He has a family!
  • Well, they all do.
  • True, Scottie was done wrong by Brett's lie. But it's Big Brother. Had Scottie not already done shady things, he'd be more believable.
  • Scottie got got. It will happen to all except the final two.
  • Scottie is planning on blowing up Fessy's game.
  • Um. What game would that be?
  • Angela warned Fessy that Scottie is planning some kind of expose in his eviction speech.
  • Haleigh is still super-mingling with the others in the house.
  • After all, they're her new allies!
  • Fessy was out and about more than the previous day. But he hung out with the guys and talked little game at all. They've done that all season.
  • Brett has definitely cooled his flirting with Haleigh. Hmm.
  • Kaycee is still confident she will stay this week, as she should be.
  • She needs to watch it or she'll always be the easy pawn.
  • I don't see it happening right away, but sometimes the pawn goes home.
  • Brett continues to study for an upcoming questions HoH comp. While others are occasionally studying, he's avid.
  • Does he really want the next HoH?
  • It would be easier for him now rather than later because targets outside of Level 6/4 are still in the house. I could see him going after Fessy. Or maybe Haleigh. Definitely Fessy.

BB! Stop her before there is more bloodshed!

JC, capless and subdued for a moment

It's wonder Fessy isn't jealous

Sam: Maybe the copter will drop a rope
