BB21: July 7 Nominations Show Blog Party

Tonight we should see Whactivity and Nominations, not necessarily in that order. We can only wonder if the elephant in the room at the BB house will be addressed.

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging and updating this post with the major events. Refresh the page to get the latest updates! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the fun!

Oh, great. We start off with "hotness." And, we're just on the "previously on."

We pick up with them checking out the Camp ComeBack room. Jack thinks he needs to mend fences and do damage control with Ovi. David tells them talks of his forest game, then tells us he's going to work his social game. Ovi says he'll come back with a vengeance. Kat actually feels safe.

Jackson/Michie thinks David will target him because he's the one who banished him. They talk in the storage room. While David is taking it well with Michie, David tells us that it's his social game on. Michie also tries to make good with Ovi. Ovi is either working a good social game or he honestly thinks he might be able to make a deal with Michie. @@

The Jacks meet up. Michie tells Jack that Ovi will still work with them. They both grunt.

David talks to Kat, the first one to approach him alone. He tells her he needs to know what's going on. She tells us she'd rather have him on her side since he might come back. She goes and tells him there's no alliances. He tells her knows there are. It's not sitting well with him.

Nicole has a heart to heart with Ovi, being truthful about who was working against him. Unlike the Kat/David talk, this one is sincere. He honestly felt he could trust Jack/Michie. Now he feels totally betrayed.

Chaos activity - Jack, Sam, Tommy, Holly, Michie

It's SNAKES (how fitting). Surrounded by snakes, three special ones in front of you, you must find a match, pick it up and put in container next to its match. The comp in named For Goodness Snakes. Tommy names them. He's terrified of snakes. He tries to personalize each one. He got them on what appears to be his first try.

Then it's Sam doing it. He's not as entertaining as Tommy was. First try? Holly isn't great with the snakes, either. First try? Then it was Michie's turn.  Then Jack's turn. Tommy was the most entertaining.

Jack wins it. Sigh. He doesn't seem to be telling anyone. With the power he can force a new veto picking, can force a new draw for veto players during veto picking.

They have to gather in the living room, a special surprise for them. It's Brett! And some others -- Swaggy, Bayleigh and Winston. It's a promo for Love Island. Gag me now. I have nothing to say about it. They also announce that the veto winner will win a trip to Fiji.

"The juice isn't worth the squeeze anymore." -- Michie about Kat.

Michie wants to put his attention into Holly. Oh, and his alliance. He's ready to cast Kat to the curb. He tells us that Kat's a burden while Holly can add to his game. He wants to do what's best for himself.

Michie tells Kat that he's worried their relationship is bringing red flags about them. He doesn't want to be in a showmance. She brings up that he spends more time with Holly. He cuts her right off. She tells us that she's not into him.

Bella is with Kemi, Nicole and Jess and she seriously thinks the womens alliance will work. The Black Widows. Kemi thinks the only one she can really trust is Bella. They seem to like the thought, but they don't seem real solid as in having each other's backs.

Of course, the Black Widow alliance gets outed to Jack. He was already thinking he wanted to put Kemi and Jess on the block -- this is more ammunition. Jess goes to talk to him. He tells her he heard she's the head of an all girls alliance. She wants to know who told. It was her loyal ally Bella. Go figure.

Time for the Nominations Ceremony. Camp ComeBack watches on their black and white television. Jack nominates Kemi, then Jess. Respect their games and them as people. Heard they would put him on the block, formed an alliance without him in it.

We get the usual "I will win veto" talk from the nominees.

BB21: Live Feeds into Sunday Afternoon - July 7

I had higher hopes for his behavior.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Ill Repute:

  • Y'know … maybe I'm a prude or something.
  • But I never can understand ANYONE having sex in the BB House knowing their parents may be watching, their grandparents may be watching, people all over the Internet are watching (and talking about them).
  • I know it's happened many times before.
  • But, I do not watch the live feeds to see stupid people "hook-up."
  • I don't care that they say living in there seems like they've known each other longer.
  • Where is their self-respect? Where is their dignity?
  • Sigh.
  • So, just for those who care -- Kat/Jackson, Analyse/Jack, Nick/Bella.
  • I just don't know about this season.
  • I'm just glad I don't depend on the show to make a living. Readership is down. Ratings on the show itself are down. Donations to the blog are very down. *A special thank you to those who have donated.
  • Then there's the racism aspect this season, too.
  • We wonder how they don't pick up on those traits in the interview process.
  • Well, maybe it's because it just might be inherent in production.
  • Kemi was talking to Sam and Nicole about how the Diary Room wanted her to talk and act more like what they apparently perceive a young black woman would talk and gesture like.
  • Well, kudos for her! She told them she's never talked that way.
  • Good.
  • David's been cleaning a lot. I didn't catch that he is supposed to be like a janitor or maid in the Camp ComeBack bit. So, if not, he's doing it on his own.
  • Oh, that evil nefarious David … cleaning up messes! How dare he!
  • Kat, though she is a bit loose-lipped about her talks with David, continues to try to get others to realize he's nice.
  • I think it's falling on deaf ears.
  • Ovi, Cliff and Nicole have an alliance. Um. One of them technically isn't in the game.
  • So far, Nicole is the only one really living up to what I had hoped. Ovi would had he not made a few bonehead moves. My jury remains out on Sam -- he could be so good, but he continues to kowtow to the Jacks. Cliff's irrational hatred/fear/whatever of David has turned me off to him.
  • Actually, now that I think of it … David too is living up actually beyond what I hoped for his game. He's patient to a fault, easy-going even though he's in a bad circumstance, smart and ready to compete in the game. I really hope he's the one who comes back.
  • Sorry, Ovi.
  • It's a shame she's in there with all of them.
What's she doing in this den of iniquity?

BB21: Live Feeds into Saturday Evening, POV - July 6

Camp ComeBack now has uniforms

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Malevolent Misfits:
  • First off, the quake that affected their area went down as I was writing up last night's report. It shook the house, but no damage.
  • It was interesting to watch their reactions.
  • And, I'm sure it had to be David's fault. After all, they had no earthquakes this season in the house until HE returned!
  • Heh.
  • The campers at Camp ComeBack now have uniforms reminiscent of cut scout ones to wear.
  • Okaay.
  • Both Ovi and David are taking it all in good spirits.
  • I'm still not seeing any rationale reason for disliking David as much as some do in the house.
  • If they were saying how threatening a player he seems to be, I think they'd be spot on. The dude is smart, personable and seems to be athletic. That's a triple threat in the game.
  • But those aspects aren't being mentioned. It's just all hate and there is absolutely NO REASON for such hate.
  • Sigh
  • Yesterday a banner plane went over the house and the hamsters had to go all inside. I didn't mention it because none of them talked about it, so I assumed it wasn't for them.
  • But, this morning Cliff mentioned it in his Cliff Notes. He brought it up twice and we got fish cam both times. He didn't say the content but asked people not do that. Hmm.
  • Ovi and David had a long talk. It turns out that some of the things David has been discussing with Kat are getting back to the Jacks. So, now he doesn't trust her.
  • Rats. I thought maybe she was finally thinking for herself!
  • They also talked about alliances in the house. They're thinking a five. The five is part of the eight. But the eight isn't even a total eight since a few of them have quasi-minds of their own.
  • As I previously mentioned, it's Kemi and Jess nominated by Jack.
  • During the veto picks, Jess actually got Houseguest's Choice and picked JACKSON.
  • Er, Michie.
  • Yes, you heard me.
  • What is going through her mind??
  • Just with that move, Kemi deserves to stay over her!
  • Sheesh.
  • Veto was played by Jack, Kemi, Jess, Sam, Michie and Bella.
  • Sam, not a part of their ridiculous eight, won Veto again.
  • The last time he did exactly what he wanted to do with it.
  • This time …?
  • He hasn't made any promises that I've seen. The last time he promised Cliff.
  • Kemi is actually in better standing with Jack than she was before. She's made an effort to talk with him and even thanked him for not only giving her the heads up that she'd probably be nominated but for not backdooring her.
  • The veto comp itself seems to have been one with rewards, too.
  • Sam not only won veto, but a trip to Fiji.
  • I'd actually like to see what Sam would do if he won an HoH.
  • I SO hate the sheep voting last week.
  • They really need to split these voting blocks up.
  • I don't have much more for you … so, until we meet again!
Two of her alliance of gals are noms!

Seriously … light the HoH better!

Sam is a wild card veto winning dude.

Scout Ovi at your service

She might stay over Jess. Hmm.

BB21: Live Feeds into Friday Night, Nominations - July 5

I love all! I'm goodness and light!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Society's Sad State:
  • The feeds were blocked for large chunks of time today.
  • One blockage was due to the Chaos part of Whacktivity. Unlike the first part, they talked about the comp but no one came forward to claim the win.
  • It had to do with snakes. Quite apt, I'd say.
  • Something about different tanks and they had to go out and match the snake with the tank.
  • They were warned the snakes could bite but weren't poisonous.
  • Rats.
  • Okay, I'm evil. I admit it. Anyway, no one seems to have been bitten.
  • A new addition to the problematic Jack arena -- when Jack with his cohorts saw David on the spy cam, Jack started mocking him and walking "like him." Um. I'm sorry, Jack, but you were warned. And, David walks nothing like a money or ape. @@
  • Oh, but during his pre-nom talk with Jess, he was all about the love, goodness and light ebbing from his very soul. He thinks SO highly of her and loves her. He wants to get to know her better. But, he might have to put her on the block. @@
  • Then, a bit later, Jack said to Kat he didn't want Jess to go around acting like the martyr.
  • Meanwhile, Kat's gained a bit of credit with me as of late. First off, she's talking with David and actually comes off as interesting and nice with him.
  • Second, she went to Jack and told him she will be sticking by Jessica. She truly cares about her.
  • Back to problematic, but not the Jacks -- Christie was talking to Jack at one point and called Tommy "a good little fairy." Um. Really? I'm not sure how he would like that, especially coming from someone who has rough history with him. And, especially to Jack when he (Tommy) wasn't even there.
  • Just "blech" problematic -- Jackson, er … Michie drinks milk out of the bottle, then puts it back in the refrigerator for others to drink.
  • Oh, well.
  • Jack, apparently for the cameras, tried to rationale his choice for nominees while talking to Sam and Analyse.
  • You do realize he LOVES everyone in the house, right?
  • And, he doesn't want people to think his choices have anything to do with anything other than game, especially considering the first two out of the house.
  • It's all game.
  • It's that girl alliance! He has to stop it1 They're dangerous1
  • Hmm … I notice he didn't say he hated Kemi today. I think he's said that multiple times every day we've had the feeds. But, not today.
  • Maybe the warning he got worked?
  • Nah. He did the David "impression" well after.
  • He nominated Kemi and Jessica.
  • I'm just so shocked over it all.

Kat consoles Jessica

Didn't cry today … that I saw

I wish these two would wise up

They need better lighting in HoH

BB21: Live Feeds into Friday Morning - July 5

Knows Jack won't target her

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Problematic Possums:

  • Well, well, well … where to begin?
  • Yeah, they played cornhole, made a slip 'n slide, BB threw them a party (that was blocked to the live feeds by critter cam) and it all looked like such fun.
  • So, it was a great July 4th holiday for all … right?
  • Nuh-uh. Nope.
  • Apparently the house will have some sort of tie-in with Love Island (which is SO something I will NOT be watching) as they talked about it.
  • Since the commercials didn't start until after the hamsters were in sequester and they even know about it in the UK … we can expect something on BB.
  • Gah. MAKE THOSE COMMERCIALS FOR IT STOP WHILE I TRY TO WATCH BB! They're creeping me out!
  • Ahem.
  • In other problematic news from the house, I'm disappointed with my man Cliff. Not only is he allowing himself to be bamboozled and think Michie (Jackson, still adjusting to his last name) and Holly are in an alliance with him … he's on that inexplicable Hate Train against David.
  • Not only has he made several comments about disliking him and how evil he is, he had a conversation with Tommy that I found very disturbing.
  • In the bathroom, Tommy told him there was some pee on the floor and David was the last one in there. Cliff said he'd pee on the floor and they could blame it on David.
  • What? WHAT? I honestly thought Cliff was above that. Sigh.
  • In other problematic news -- the Jacks were talking and both either said a racial slur … or not. They were talking quietly and there was a lot of background noise. I personally can't tell exactly what was said. It could have been the word "neither" or another word.
  • I guess it was another word.
  • Both were brought into the Diary Room separately and apparently warned by production.
  • Neither is supposed to talk about it.
  • But they did, at least a little bit.
  • Jack, already apparently warned once about his mouth, is taking it in stride. He is going to be who he is, no matter what. He says he'll find out in 84 days whet people think of him … and he doesn't really care.
  • Michie, on the other hand, is very upset. I'm thinking he might be thinking of what his family will think and repercussions out in the real world.
  • But, at the end of the day (as hamsters say) he seems to think it's all David's fault and now he hates him even more.
  • Well, at least it does seem to have made some sort of impression on the both of them. I think neither will really change, though.
  • I'm still not getting why they all consider David the villain of the season.
  • Yes, in watching him (since we never saw him actually playing in the house, I think he could very well be a shrewd player.
  • He sat in on the meeting with Jack getting everyone to agree not to talk game with him.
  • Yet it looks like he's got Kat fawning all over him and telling him alliances and such.
  • David is making attempts to hang out with the others and get involved with conversations and such.
  • Yesterday and last night, he was definitely around them all more than we saw Ovi. He's much more social than Ovi despite Ovi's college day social success.
  • I've come to the conclusion that David IS dangerous. He's a dangerous competitor who could very well win the game if he can get back in and the jury isn't full of hate for him.
  • So, yeah … he's dangerous in that aspect.
  • But I just don't see mean, evil, villain or anything like that.
I don't care what they say

Awkward convo with David about Love Island

Many of us are aghast, Nicole

I still don't understand the hate

Am I boring you? Okay, I'm out!
