BB23: Live Feeds into Wednesday Morning - August 11

Why always hugging a pillow?
Does he do that at home?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Voting Vipers:

  • Yesterday was a bit noneventful.
  • Oh, sure. There were a few quibbles.
  • But no kerfuffles and not a brouhaha to be had.
  • There was a bit of a rift because it got out that SarahBeth said that Britini acted obnoxious after the veto and others rushed to Britini's defense.
  • Now, I think most of them tend to act at least slightly obnoxious after a veto win.
  • Why else would they keep wearing that silly necklace so long?
  • Plus, we know from watching and the other hamsters have witnessed how much she wanted to win a comp.
  • Oh, well.
  • Like I said, it didn't make kerfuffle level.
  • Despite people constantly telling her she's safe, SarahBeth has gone into a bit of a "woe is me" phase.
  • Christian still thinks he might be safe ... a bit. He's starting to worry as people he thought he had aren't really committing.
  • I don't know what's going on with his skin. For a while he had red splotches on his face where Alyssa kept popping his pimples (ew). But now his whole face looks red, sweaty and maybe even a little swollen. It's not a good look.
  • The other hamsters keep commenting on his stink. He hasn't been taking showers (ew).
  • I'm glad the live feeds don't come with smell-o-vision!
  • There were a lot of feed blocks yesterday.
  • We would see Kyland Jackass making sandwiches but see only a bit of Claire's cards toss.
  • Weird.
  • Alyssa and Christian keep campaigning for him to stay.
  • They really don't know all will be for naught. (I like that expression and don't get to use it often enough!)
  • Claire wants to tell Alyssa before the eviction that he won't be staying.
  • Why the heck can't they just let these things be a surprise?
  • No Big Blue Couch but Hannah gave them lessons in body language. It would behoove them to pay attention to that. Yes, I just wanted to work in "behoove" but it fit so well there.
  • Azah had them all cracking up with accent lessons. It was a hoot to watch.
  • That's where we stand ...

Schooling the others on accents

Has the most skin issues of anyone in the house

They all tell her she's staying, yet ...

BB23: Live Feeds into Tuesday Morning - August 10

Dancing as Azah belts out 'Big Blue Couch'

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Krazed Kinkajous:

  • As Derek X finished his Lord of the Latrine bathroom duties -- announcing others to the "latrine, aka porcelain pot," locking and unlocking the newly installed hasp on the door and blowing his horn -- Claire and Kyland got their costume punishments won in the veto comp.
  • Kyland's Jackass of Clubs has him in a donkey costume making club sandwiches for some or all dependent on BB's direction.
  • Claire's 52 Pick Up has her dressed as the Queen of Hearts playing card "Duchess of the Deck." When BB tells her, she has to throw all the cards in the air, then pick them up. I think BB was grasping for anything when they came up with this one.
  • Christian has calmed down some.
  • I no longer fear he will get physical against anyone. Maybe I shouldn't have feared it in the first place.
  • But, mind you, he all but had steam coming out of his ears!
  • And the fire in his eyes ...!
  • Part of the calming down came from his talk with Tiffany, par for the course this season.
  • She comforted him, gave him the advice to cool it down, it's a marathon not a sprint and on and on.
  • She covers her bases so well.
  • Tiffany thinks the majority of the house want to and will vote out Christian.
  • She wants him to stay but won't push the issue as it might put her in a bad light with some.
  • Instead of talking to others why Christian needs to stay over SarahBeth (better for her own game would be the reason), she talks to them about the dangers of keeping SarahBeth.
  • She even told Christian she could never win against him at the end -- which I think she could if the jury went for gameplay rather than comps -- but told him to work to stay.
  • However, she thinks he should wait on his campaigning until Wednesday.
  • She has both of them, Christian and SarahBeth, thinking they each have her support.
  • The show should really air something about the hamster's 'Big Blue Couch' theme song and show. They have a synchronized dance and Azah can really belt out that theme song.
  • They have made it clear to BB that it is their own song and they are not violating any copyrights.
  • Yet the BB blocking keeps going on without rhyme or reason this season. The 'Big Blue Couch' theme is one of the few things not blocked.
  • Sigh.
  • Kyland's head keeps falling off backwards. It's a good thing it's connected.
  • Um, I mean his costume head.
  • Of course.
  • Derek F told Kyland he was worried about possibly getting a costume punishment.
  • I say he could be a couch potato. He spends more time laying about on chairs or beds than anyone else. He said before his goal was to make jury and he has nothing at home to return to (unlike Derek X with his own business!) so that's his goal.
  • I don't know.
  • I think I prefer Tiffany's thinking -- she's here to win the game and, ruthless or not, she's game 24/7.
  • Today should be quiet in the house. They have the yard and heavy duty campaigning won't start until tomorrow.

Perfect pitch? I think not.

Tells us she covered her bases with
Christian just in case.

Claire is quite the card, huh?

Meant to post this one yesterday --

BB23: Live Feeds into Monday Afternoon/Renom - Aug. 9

Derek X has to toot his own horn

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Drama Llamas:

  • Oh, geez. Is there some reason that we can't have a blindside of any kind this season?
  • Can't have an eviction blindside and now we can't even have a Veto blindside.
  • :::kicking rocks:::
  • Ouch.
  • The plan to renom Christian when Britini saved herself was going along so well.
  • Azah and Derek F were sure it would be one of them.
  • Derek X gave Alyssa some kind of heads up about it and, the next thing you know, it's the buzz of the house.
  • Christian was already spitting mad before the ceremony.
  • And after?
  • Sure enough, he is on the block with SarahBeth and feeling betrayed by Derek X.
  • Xavier wisely told him to cool off before talking to Derek X.
  • But, with Derek X manning his bathroom duty, it was impossible (or so he says) to avoid him.
  • Thankfully he only went after him verbally not physically.
  • His plans are to trash SarahBeth and, then he and Alyssa will blow up the Royal Flush.
  • While he told Derek X that SarahBeth talked him into nominating him by crying, she's just selfish. She took the money the same way!
  • Oy! He's being like a big little kid who is having a temper tantrum.
  • Derek tried to explain the comp threat he is, but no ... that's not it. It's all SarahBeth putting ideas in his head!
  • Meanwhile, Derek F is getting compliments because, with the renom done, he and the others not on the block have made jury.
  • This is going to be an uncomfortable couple of days in the house.
  • And, it does look like it should be a split vote for the first time this season.
  • Maybe.

Still pushing for women to be evicted

Why can't they just leave a blindside a blindside?

At least he can still smile now and then

Are her days still numbered anyway?

Xavier retains his team loyalty,
but two Kings nominated?

Alyssa is worried about her own game

She wants Christian to stay for her own game

Not handling things well at all

BB23: HoH Comp Finish/Nominations Show Blog Party - Aug. 8

Good evening! As you're all aware, much has been happening on the live feeds. But, since this is a show post and people who do not watch the feeds come here, please remember this is a NO SPOILERS ZONE. Thank you!

I'll be live-blogging, updating this post with the major happenings as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page for the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Previously on brings up the Cookout and Tiffany's strategy for their success. We pick up the action at the HOH comp ... Derek falls off the wall first -- shocking everybody, of course! It's been raining on them and the "passengers" above them are ill with green slime vomit. Claire gives up since she has safety anyway.

One by one they keep falling -- SarahBeth and Hannah simultaneously, Kyland, Britini ...

Tiffany doesn't really care about winning the HOH. She just doesn't want Alyssa to win it and feels she needs to outlast her.

A shivering Azag goes down. Derek X looks one with the wall, barely moving and lined up right against the wall. Tiffany slips and falls and Alyssa remains up. Xavier and Alyssa deal with Derek X for safety and then Alyssa goes down followed by Xavier.

DEREK X is the new HOH. One hour 23 minutes was the length of the comp.

Alyssa is all whiny and feeling sorry for herself saying how she sucks at comps. Hannah and Derek X jump around in the storage room. She tells us she wants his HOH to be her HOH. She has targets in mind for her own game's good.

Christian doesn't have safety like others on his team but thinks he can't go up -- he could only be a backdoor. SarahBeth and Hannah (who they have started to call Chaddha - sp?) try to mend fences. Well, SarahBeth does, anyway.

Derek X talks with Claire and Tiffany. He tells them that he gave safety to Alyssa and Xavier but Xavier wants him to guarantee all Kings safe. That's not the deal.

In front of Hannah Tiffany slips and mentions the Royal Flush when Derek X talked about backdooring Christian. Derek does not want to nominate Christian right off. After Tiffany leaves them, Hannah questions him about the Royal Flush. He tries to convince her it's a one week thing.

Hannah talks to Tiffany about it, too. Tiffany is aghast that she herself let it slip. She too downplays it. But Hannah is keeping it in mind just in case she needs that information in the future.

Derek F and Azah talk. She tells us her face gives away her emotions. Derek tells us that you have to fake it until you make it in the house. He tries giving Azah lessons.

Xavier once again tries to get safety for the Kings. Derek X says no. Xavier points out to us that the Kings are all a part of the Royal Flush. Is Derek going against the Royal Flush?

Derek talks to SarahBeth who also says she would like the Royal Flush to be safe. What can she offer him? Would she be willing to be a pawn?

Segment on Derek F's sleeping habits.

Derek X continues his HOH questioning. No one wants to say they would go up as a pawn. Britini seems the closest to saying okay. He decides to talk to Hannah. She advises going after Christian and tells him that Britini would likely target him before SarahBeth would.

Time for the nominations ceremony! Derek nominates SarahBeth, then Britini. He tells them trust is an issue and they were nominated to keep his trust in the game. Say what?

Derek tells us that he wants to backdoor Christian but will take out SarahBeth if it comes down to that.

BB23: Live Feeds into Sunday Afternoon - August 8

Safe anyway. Good.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Woeful Waifs:

  • Those only watching the show are woefully behind this week. Yeah.
  • Here's the rundown: Derek X won the HoH comp, promising safety to Alyssa and Xavier (the two others remaining up with him at the end). He nominated Britini and SarahBeth with the thought to try to backdoor Christian if possible. If no one is saved, SarahBeth would go home. Britini is really a pawn. BUT Britini won the Power of Veto and, although the meeting isn't until tomorrow, she surely will save herself.
  • Britini has been handling the nomination well as she trusts Derek X when he tells her she really is a pawn. But, still ... save yourself, girl!
  • So ... will it be SarahBeth and Christian nominated this week?
  • If so, which one would go home?
  • That's the dilemma.
  • Derek F and Azah are worried that one of them will be the replacement nom. Nah, that ain't gonna happen.
  • Thinking of it purely from a Derek X mind-thought, I would think that Christian is a bigger threat to his personal game and this might be the only shot to get him out due to his comp beast sort of ways. While we know SarahBeth is very cognizant of the game, she really hasn't proved to be a huge threat during comps. True, she could be just laying low. But I still think of Christian as a more immediate threat who will be hard to get out of the house.
  • That seems to be Derek's thoughts as well ... get out Christian while he can. But, what if it backfires and SarahBeth gets evicted instead?
  • Oh my. We just might have a predicament going on here!
  • Y'see, SarahBeth has a small army working against her. It's a really small one, but very successful so far.
  • We call that army Tiffany.
  • She has enlisted Hannah as her private mercenary.
  • Tiffany sees SarahBeth as a threat to her own game and it does look like SarahBeth might be catching on to her ruthless ways.
  • Plus, SarahBeth "stole" Kyland from under Tiffany's control. Horrors!
  • We'll be seeing that drama play out as long as SarahBeth, Kyland and Tiffany are all in the house. Kyland doesn't seem to be plotting against Tiffany but he is definitely pushing for SarahBeth to stay.
  • Oh, well ... to the PoV comp -- it was the rewards/punishments one in which each person could trade what they won with someone already out of the comp.
  • Derek X was crying after the comp. It seems he promised himself before entering the house that if he had any opportunity to win cash, he would take the cash.
  • Instead, he kept a punishment instead of giving said punishment to SarahBeth and taking $5,000 from her.
  • He said he didn't want to take the money when he had put her on the block during her birthday week.
  • She says it's the most expensive birthday gift she's ever received.
  • I bet it is!
  • Derek's punishment is that he is a bathroom attendant for 24 hours. It comes with a costume and a trumpet. He has to announce the arrival of anyone using the bathroom. Um. Okay.
  • Alyssa got a call from home and a laptop (not in the house). And, if she's still here in four weeks she can have a video call.
  • As you know, Britini got the veto and SarahBeth got the cash.
  • Kyland got a punishment called the Jackass Club while Claire got 52 Pick Up. I'm not too sure of the details of either of those. I haven't caught much talk about it and neither have started yet.
  • The hamsters are thinking it could be a double eviction this coming week. They're wrong. Julie tells us these things ahead of time.
  • That's it for now!

I'm still waiting on good gameplay from Azah

Apparently not too crestfallen to gloat
 about the money

Upset that he had vowed he would take
 any cash prizes he can

Is Tiffany wearing out her welcome
 in the HOH?

She and Derek X do not NEED a showmance.
Quit it!
