So, folks ... ready for two hours of non-stop thrills and chills action? You are? Well, you're not going to find it here! Bwahaha! I crack myself up. However, that said, there have been some developments and excitement happening in the house that should make tonight's episode interesting. Remember -- no spoilers as this is a show post. Please don't comment on things until they air on the show. Then you can go wild. Thank you.
The wonderful Blog Pool Lifeguard SueGee has updated the blog pool. Here's where we stand now:
I will be live-blogging and constantly updating this post with the major happenings as they air on the show here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the fun!
Julie introduces the show as a two-hour live eviction. Mind you, there has to be a taped Power of Veto segment! They can't just skip over that! The narrator mentions it and the fact that an "epic endurance battle for Head of House" begins.
Day 17. With less than two weeks to go, the numbers are dwindling. (Well, duh!) We pick up the action after the Nominations Ceremony. Miesha is worried about the veto. She wants Carson out but will target his closest ally Cynthia if need be. Chris Kirk is worried that, if Carson goes, Miesha will target himself or Shanna.
Carson thinks Miesha should have put Chris Kattan on the block because he really wants to go home.
Todrick tells Cynthia that it wasn't his decision who went on the block. He tells her there's no way she will go home this week. Todrick tells Miesha he thinks Chris Kirk needs to be targeted next.
Carson tells Cynthia that if he wins the veto, he will save her and she will work with Shanna. Shanna tells Chris Kirk she's worried that if someone comes down from the block, she will be backdoored. Chris Kirk tells her to save Carson if she wins veto. He might go up or a pawn might go up. They will have to play it however they can.
Going into commercial, Julie tells us one houseguest has unexpectedly gone home. To the segment -- Chris Kattan tells Chris Kirk he wants to go home. He enters the Diary Room. He looks miserable. Miesha gathers everyone and reads a notice saying Chris Kattan will not be continuing in the game. He said he will send them a video notice. We see the video. He says each one has impacted his life. It was a very nice speech. Now they are all saying nice things about him.
Time for the Power of Veto players pick. Miesha draws Shanna. Cynthia draws Houseguest's Choice and chooses Lamar. Carson draws Todrick.
Lamar is confused and has Todrick explain the Power of Veto.
Time for the veto comp. Todd is the host. The backyard is a winter theme with mechanical bull-type reindeer. They have to rock the reindeer 20 times and then stack snowflakes on a goblet. Lamar times out as each bout of stacking is timed, then they have to reindeer again. Miesha times out.
Cynthia locks in with a count of nine. Shanna logs in 22. Carson times out. Then Todrick times out.
SHANNA wins the Power of Veto!
Miesha needs to plan in case Shanna saves someone. Todd says he'll go up. They know they have the numbers to keep him. Chris Kirk tells Shanna if Todd goes up when she saves Carson, Todd goes home. They get Carson in on the plan.
Miesha and Todrick talk. She's starting to worry about Chris Kirk. She feels she needs to see if his loyalty is still with them. She asks, if Shanna saves Cynthia, he will vote Carson out. She tells him he's the swing vote. He becomes noncommittal when she asks if he would vote out Todd.
Miesha tries to convince Shanna not to use the veto at all. Shanna tells her that she had been worried she would be up if she didn't win the veto. Miesha asks if she was going to take Carson down. Shanna says she doesn't know yet what she wants to do.
Time for the Veto Meeting. Shanna saves Carson. Miesha puts Chris Kirk up in his place.
Miesha is actually crying. Chris Kirk is referring to it as backdooring himself. He's trying to think of a way to swing it around. Todrick wants to get Shanna in their camp. Miesha does not feel the same way and does not want to take Shanna in.
Chris Kirk tries to convince Shanna they won because it shows the whole house that Miesha and Todrick will eat their own.
Julie tells them some news from the world. They are at the halfway mark. She gives them headlines. They are pretty good figuring out the real ones.
Could an unexpected outburst flip the house? Todd is mad about Cynthia voting to evict him instead of Teddi in the first eviction. They have words. Loud words. She goes back at him. Now he's shouting. It's a brouhaha!
To the living room --
Chris - Thanks CBS, etc. Amazing rollercoaster of a ride. Came together as a family. Cannot campaign against Cynthia.
Cynthia - Thanks God, loyalty, would like to continue. Amazing experience. Shout outs.
Unanimous again. He hugs all.
Zoom. In one fell swoop of a night I have no Chris's to type out last names on during show nights!
After the Julie interview, they show the HoH comp before going into commercial. It's a wall comp. I still haven't seen any notice that it will air on the live feeds. The wall comps usually do, but they tell us beforehand. So, right now I just don't know. If it does play out on the feeds, I will put up a separate post to cover it.
Angry Glam Squad is the name of the comp.
It will play out on the feeds. A separate post is going up.
