Big Brother 13 PoV Show Blog Party 7/20

Photobucket

It's the big Power of Veto show -- at least we'll get to see Rachel's bad behavior in the comp! (Like we haven't seen that before!) As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with major events. The real fun is down in the comments area. Please join us there!

PoV Players -- Jordan/Jeff, Adam/Dominic (Adam is supposed to throw the comp) and the chosen duo - Brendon and Rachel. Daniele is the host.

Candy all over the yard. They're playing as individuals but the winner will have the power to take the duo off the block. They have to chew gumballs across the balance beam then complete a veto portrait. If you fall, out of comp unless you accept two weeks of slop.

Jordan fell wanted slop but Jeff is telling her no. She's out. Rachel is mad and feels she and Brendon need to take back control. Rachel fell and took the slop to continue playing, fell again and is out.

Dominic wins!

Jeff confronted Rachel about her bad behavior and she's crying in the bushes. Heh.

The editing is trying to lead viewers to think that Jordan will backdoor Brendon and Rachel. Not so. Dominic uses the veto, she puts Cassi and Shelly on the block. Hopes to further herself and Jeff in the game.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Into Wednesday Dawn 7/20

Fashion Plate Lawon

Another evening and overnight in that Big Brother House of Misfit Toys:
  • Porsche is almost invisible in the house -- her game is to hang out with Rachel, but not when Rachel and Brendon are fighting.
  • So we don't really see her all that often.
  • She told Rachel that Shelly told her she voted for her to stay and that she thinks the other person was Kalia.
  • Porsche said that Dominic and Adam said they would have voted for her to stay had they realized the numbers had changed.
  • Well, duh.
  • Jeff isn't feeling well. Later on he said he didn't work out because he has to keep going ... and going. You get it.
  • Rachel said that the season finale will be September 16. How she knows, I don't know. That's a Friday night and unlikely.
  • They lined up every condiment that they're allowed trying to think of a creative new way to cook slop.
  • Another night of "scary ghost stories" ahead.
  • Oh, yeah. I'm excited.
  • Brendon and Rachel claim they spend $2000 a month on food, more than they pay in rent.
  • That has to be fun when Rachel works at a slightly more than minimum wage job three days a week!
  • Dominic said Brendon eats eight to ten eggs for breakfast. That's ridiculous!
  • The boy needs to go on slop, I say!
  • Brendon put his superhero clothes on once again and made a plea to the feeds for the return of Franklin the toy turtle.
  • Tell ya what, Brendon ... we'll send a banner plane telling you where you can find Franklin if you and Rachel hit that panic bar and just leave.
  • You can even take Franklin with you.
  • The BEST part of the night was when Daniele, Jeff, Jordan, Lawon and Dominic spied on Rachel and Brendon fighting.
  • They mocked their fights much as we do!
  • At one point Lawon went down and danced for the spy cam.
  • Brendon claimed he was going over ghost stories he wants to tell.
  • Sure.
  • The body language and silences told their own story!
  • Cassi cried some more because she knows she's leaving.
  • Shelly worried some more just in case she's leaving.
  • Lawon, Dominic and Cassi stayed up just about all night.
  • They're still up as I get this posted.

Slop - it's what's for dinner!

Spying on the latest Brendon/Rachel tiff.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Into Tuesday Evening 7/19

Digging for gold?

I tell ya, Allison Grodner ... you seriously need to do something to shake up this snoozefest of a season! I called the prank yesterday an epic fail, but this season could very well doom future seasons. The returning duos? Fail. The casting? Fail. The network scheduling and downtime in the house? Fail. Brendon and Rachel? SUPER fail.

Anyway, here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Woeful Wombats:
  • Oh, late at night, they had a pillowfight! Wowsers.
  • They talked about all answering Julie Chen with weird voices during the live show.
  • They told (bad) scary stories.
  • Then a monster ATE all the hamsters!
  • Um. No. I just made that up.
  • Apparently Jeff wants to move to Los Angeles. Jordan is considering it, but thinks she'll be lonely because Jeff has plans to do work travel stuff.
  • Gee, she could hang out with Rachel!
  • Cassi is sure she's leaving this week and said she'd eat slop and take cold showers the rest of the season if only she could stay.
  • It doesn't work that way, girl.
  • Shelly, as usual, was up early doing laundry, cleaning and smoking.
  • Not necessarily all at the same time, mind you.
  • This is why they need to be off my computer, off my TV and out of my life -- Brendon and Rachel had yet another broken record argument about "Bookie" (Bukey, kind of like Pukey?) and her showing him too much affection in front of others.
  • I'm so sick of their twisted mentality needy people fights.
  • Once again, just a lot of small talk mixed in with "what if" game talk.
  • Fix this mess, Grodner!

A.K.A. PT (Pre-Teen)

Say WHAT?

A balding man and his shawl.

Hats in the house

Daniele and Porsche, the nonentity.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Monday Evening 7/18

What?
Mike Boogie's back in the house?
Oh. Wait.
It's just Shelly.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Pitiful Pranksters:
  • After an afternoon of tears, the mood in the house changed.
  • Rats. I wanted some brouhahas!
  • Dominic thinks the Regulators might very well be the worst alliance in BB history.
  • I think he might very well be right.
  • Lawon and Cassi blame the failure on Keith.
  • After the cryfest of the others was well over, Shelly had her own pity party.
  • She's worried that she might go home.
  • Daniele assured her she's safe.
  • Wah. Wah.
  • Sheesh, folks ... if you're going to cry I want a smackdown or something lively!
  • Rachel told Brendon she went crying to Jordan because she wanted Jordan to feel sorry for her more than she did for Cassi.
  • Whacko.
  • I feel sorry for Jordan!
  • Then the prank planning started.
  • When Adam fell asleep outside (against the rules), they all joined together to put red tape across his photo and make an arrow out of the keys.
  • Then they decided to decorate the fortune teller with the keys and the veto necklace instead.
  • They all ran up to the HoH room to watch him on the spy cam.
  • Adam slept some more.
  • Brendon ran down, banged on the glass door, then hightailed it back up.
  • Adam remained sleeping.
  • After probably an hour of anticipation in the HoH room, Adam finally walked into the house.
  • He saw the tape, laughed and removed it.
  • Then he set about making jerky burgers.
  • Adam laughed off the whole thing.
  • Epic prank fail.
  • BB gave them alcohol, probably hoping to liven them up more for Showtime.
  • Cassi cried some more.
  • Lots of small talk and delusions of what they'd do if they were HoH.
  • Laters.

A whole lotta jellybeans!

The suspense builds.

Epic prank fail.
He notices, laughs and removes the tape.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Bulletin - PoV Meeting

The PoV meeting, blocked to the feeds, went down. No surprises here -- Dominic saved himself (and thus Adam, too), a new duo went on the block.

Shelly and Cassi are on the block.

It should be bye-bye Cassi this week, I predict.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Through Monday Morning 7/18

Where am I?
What am I doing in this handbasket?

My sincere apologies for being so long between live feeds reports. Not that it's an excuse (but it is!), for those who don't know -- I'm recovering from a major surgery and I'm not quite 100% yet in the concentration department. But I'm here now and here's what's been happening in that Big Brother House of Catty Crazies:
  • Jordan said she's actually like to do something dramatic (nominate Brendon and Rachel is the meaning of dramatic).
  • Jeff thinks it's too early for that move but would stand behind whatever she wants to do.
  • As much as I want Rachel to go and as sick I am of watching the neverending Brenchal drama codependently play out, I think Jeff is right. It's too early and they need them not only for a voting block, but to protect themselves because as long as Brendon and Rachel are in the game, they're more of a target.
  • Dominic has continued to worm his way into the Veterans Circle, casting a lot of the mistrust onto his duo buddy Adam (who's less of a threat remaining in the game than Dominic, but hey ...)
  • Cassi is sure that she'll be going home since Dominic is sure to save himself (and thus Adam) with the PoV.
  • She's keeping a push on for a backdoor of Brendon and Rachel.
  • Sigh. It's unlikely.
  • Brendon told Damiele how frustrated he is with Rachel lately -- she's gloating about wins, making jabs at others and generally playing a poor social game.
  • Stupid Brendon. What made him thing her behavior would be any different this season from last?
  • Cassi hopes that if she goes home, a Pandora's box or America's Vote might get her back in the house.
  • Don't hold your breath, girl.
  • I like you better than I like Rachel but you haven't endeared me yet!
  • Jordan doesn't particularly trust Porsche and thinks she (Porsche) has become way too close to Rachel.
  • Kalia understands that Jordan can't backdoor Rachel and Brendon this early in the game and says that she's in the alliance with them all too and knows they need the numbers.
  • Dominic told Daniele he definitely has a deal with Jeff and Jordan.
  • For now, that'll work. Brendon and Rachel are better targets.
  • Then it happened ...
  • CAT FIGHT!
  • Rachel told Cassi that after she made a deal she (Cassi) went around saying that Brendon and Rachel needed to be nominated and no one had the "balls" to do it."
  • Cassi didn't deny it and said that she's just being honest and is probably the most honest person in the house.
  • Rachel told Cassi that she's the worst game player ever in the house!
  • Cassi came back with how Rachel can't ever get along with girls in the house!
  • MEOW. HISS. GROWL. SPIT!
  • They eventually split up before the hairpulling stage.
  • Rats.
  • Then Jordan did something which belies every moment of ditziness she's ever displayed. She went for the peacemaker role.
  • First she talked to Rachel, who teared up but didn't get upset with Jordan for being honest with her.
  • Albeit a bit sugarcoated, Jordan went over Rachel's poor social game and tried to convince her to not give those little jabs, not gloat over wins, not feel she needs to win everything, not rub the Brendon and her coupling so much ...
  • Actually Brendon has been trying to give Rachel the same advice, but he's so condescending when he does it that it makes her more upset.
  • Coming from Jordan, it was more like a concerned friend trying to help her.
  • But Rachel cried anyway and talked about the mean girls last season and how Cassi reminds her of them, how people hate her, etc.
  • Then Jordan talked to Cassi. Cassi was less receptive than Rachel about the talk.
  • But neither took offense to Jordan because she did her part so diplomatically.
  • Yay, Jordan!
  • Poor Jordan that she was in the middle of things, though.
  • Rachel cried, then cried some more.
  • Jordan tried to comfort her.
  • Daniele rolled her eyes.
  • Heh, gotta like that Daniele, too!
  • Jeff still thinks Cassi has to go this week.
  • Jordan doesn't want to put Kalia and Lawon up because she definitely trusts Kalia and Lawon can be worked with.
  • Jordan said, down the line, Daniele would scare her in the Final Four.
  • Yep, she should scare anyone - she plays a good social game and is good at comps, too!
  • Both Jeff and Jordan said they'd love it if Evel Dick was in there to stir up stuff now.
  • So would I!
  • Cassi admitted to Dominic that she models full time and has done many major magazines.
  • No, I'm not talking Playboy and Hustler! Minds out of that gutter please before you get thrown under the bus!
  • Cassi said that, stleast if she goes this week, she leaves with her integrity intact.
  • Yes, though I'm not on the Save Cassi Bandwagon, she hasn't done anything wrong in the house.
  • I also give her kudos for the friction with Rachel. At least it made the feeds worthwhile last night!
  • Mind you, Cassi isn't even on the block yet. The Veto meeting is later today, but it's just about a done deal now.

I want that refrigerator!

Sad News

We recently found out that longtime blog community member Joyce Nicodemus, also known as JoyN, passed away on April 29, 2011. JoyN has been a part of the community here since the early AOL days. While we knew that she had health struggles, I think we all just figured she was taking some time off before the start of the Big Brother season.

We will all miss her contributions here in the comments on the blog -- she really loved her television shows and was never timid in her opinions! Friendly to all, welcoming to new folks aboard ... that was JoyN.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to her family and friends.

My morning feeds report will be a bit late today, please check back.

Big Brother 13 - July 17 Nominations Show Blog Party

Photobucket

The show will be starting in a few minutes here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll update this entry with major happenings. However, the real fun is in the comments area. Come one, come all!

Upset newbies, no one admitting to voting for Porsche to stay.

Food comp is on! Two people in each ant outfit. Huge picnic spread. First duo who collects four food particles wins and chooses the Have Nots for the week. Brendon and Rachel won. Kalia was hurt and a medic came out. Brendon and Rachel chose Dominic/Adam and Cassi/Shelly for slop. America chose jellybeans and jerky.

On the CBS website there's going to be an America's vote which will "impact the next HoH." No, I don't have a clue at the moment.

Nominations -- Jordan wants to go with what's best for her and Jeff. The key order -- Rachel and Brendon, Shelly and Cassi, Kalia and Lawon. So it's Adam and Dominic on the block because she "doesn't know where their heads are at." She likes them, though.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Into Sunday Afternoon 7/17

Go away Rachel. Take your devil horn shirt with you.

It's Sunday afternoon in the BB13 house. The hamsters are sunning. Do you know what it's like to watch people sunning? Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Tanning Tots:
  • Yes, I said "tots." I didn't say a similar word, but it just may fit.
  • I'm thinking more along the lines of maturity level.
  • Jordan said she and Jeff fight over stupid things.
  • I say nowhere near as bad as the neverending codependent Rachel/Brendon fights.
  • The Diary Room told them they have to stop calling Dominic "PT." It stands for "pre-teen."
  • Rachel told Dominic that if she and Brendon had won PoV they would have saved him.
  • Yeah, right. I don't think Dominic is that stupid as to believe her.
  • Jordan told Jeff that she thinks Rachel has been treating both her and Daniele differently since the food comp debacle.
  • Cassi got on a crying binge again -- this time because she thinks she's going home.
  • She's probably right.
  • Although the veto hasn't been used yet, it will be non-news when Shelly and Cassi go on the block.
  • Shelly should be quite safe.
  • Cassi said that Rachel is catty and a dumbass.
  • Well, yeah. Alas, it's not Rachel on the block, though!
  • Jordan is still surprised that Rachel told her that she and Brendon had sex in the HoH room. That's not how Jordan was raised and the fact that Brendon and Rachel are engaged don't make it right (according to Jordan).
  • Jordan and Kalia had a bubblebath (in bathing suits) in the HoH bathroom.
  • Because Jordan had shaved her legs in there, Kalia sat up on the ledge.
  • Oh geez, just pull up a chair and watch Jordan in the tub, I say!
  • Today so far has been super boring.
  • Brendon said he worked at Target for a few months. He hated it.
  • Cassi is upset because she came into the game to go far and isn't in it for the fame.
  • Like people who don't watch BB would have a clue about past hamsters.
  • I even had someone question why I like something which sounds xxx-rated on my Facebook page. That was when I "liked" Evel Dick.
  • Outsiders to the show just don't understand these things!
  • Cassi doesn't understand why Jordan doesn't put Brendon and Rachel on the block.
  • I'd love to see them on the block myself, but I understand not putting them up right now.
  • Jeff and Jordan need Brendon and Rachel for numbers.
  • That's it for now!

Kalia's knees from the food comp.

Bubble bath time, so to speak.

Jeff checks out the duck.

Sunday afternoon sunning session.

Off Topic - That Was the Week It Was - July 17, 2011

It's Sunday morning, time for my weekly off television topic photo post reflecting on the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken. If you're looking for Big Brother 13 live feeds updates, check the post before this one and, most likely, the next post coming.

I'm still not really mobile enough to be wandering senselessly about, so my photo taking has been limited to trips I need to take -- basically back and forth to physical therapy. However, this week was the big invitational photo exhibition at the Plainfield Public Library, so I did have my first social outing since the surgery.

My knee held up pretty well for the opening and I was able to rotate between sitting and standing. After I got home, it was a bit angry with me so it was back to icing and elevating.

The opening itself was exciting. I've never been in a position like that with folks in person complimenting me on my work like I really know what I'm doing! My shots looked great professionally mounted and displayed. The other two photographers -- Paul LeGrand and William Monroe -- had some fantastic photos, some I definitely wished I had taken! They had a nice spread of snacks and beverages. I even broke down and drank about an ounce of Chablis, but stuck pretty much to lemonade and water.

Other than that, my week was very routine. Doing the BB13 posts, taking care of the knee. It's still doing well, but definitely has its good and bad days. I actually slept a full night a few nights ago, but I'm back to scattered sleep once again now. I'm pretty much down to only taking pain medication for my physical therapy, an occasional one at night hoping for sleep.

I had my first Peapod grocery delivery on Monday and was very pleased with the service. So I'll be going that route again. I'm really not up to walking around supermarkets. The ice cream I ordered via Peapod was still frozen, so that was a good test of freshness for me! The produce I ordered was also in nice shape, as if I had picked the items out myself.

This coming week I head back for a follow-up visit at the surgeon's office tomorrow and my PT is down to twice weekly (instead of thrice) because my health insurance only allows 20 visits per calendar year. Since I'm ahead of the game, so to speak, this will spread the visits out for a longer time. I also received an invitation for a joint replacement reunion dinner at the hospital in August. Um, okay. As long as I don't have to be a patient, I'll go.

More paperwork is coming in from work, the short term disability folks and bills, too. When I pay off the surgeon charges and the anesthesia people, I'll hit my out of pocket maximum for the year. So, with the exception of co-pays at PT, any medical bills will be covered. Of course, I'm not expecting many billing things from this point forward (surgeon aftercare visits are included in the surgery charges), but if any arise, they're covered. The last time with the blood clot, a lot of charges were yet to come at this point. This time, not so much.

Once again, I've bored you enough. Onto the (few) photos from this week:

But it is another word for nothing left to lose. This is the clock outside of the Scotch Plains Municipal Building.

"Italo Americans"? Hmm. Scotch Plains is a lot more Italian-related than nearby Plainfield where I live. Or is that Italo American related?

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Saturday into the Evening 7/16

Is my water spiked?

It's the big Power of Veto comp day for our hamsters. Will the nominations change this week. You can bet your bippie on it that they will! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Codependent Couples:
  • BB woke them up rather early (for BB) -- around 8 AM their time.
  • It's good everyone had gone to bed early, by around 3 AM.
  • Daniele and Kalia talked about not trusting Jordan as much because Jordan seems to trust Cassi.
  • I believe part of that talk was Daniele's social game in play. Unlike the other veterans, she's making the time to simply hang out with the others, thus leaving her options more open and probably will be less of a target when her safety period ends.
  • Most seem to be still hurting from yesterday's food comp.
  • Adam had agreed to throw the PoV comp so he'd remain safe while Dominic got the boot.
  • Rachel thinks the worst case scenario would be an Adam/Dominic win.
  • Heh.
  • Jordan told Shelly that if Dominic and Adam win the veto, she'll put up her and Cassi. Cassi would be the target.
  • I just wish they'd think of putting up Rachel and Brendon with EITHER being the target. I'd like both of them gone.
  • Daniele told Kalia that once the duos play is up, Brendon and Rachel need to go.
  • At least someone is thinking properly!
  • Rachel wants Brendon to change the nominations if he wins PoV -- she wants Cassi out.
  • Rachel thinks Cassi would come after them if she won HoH, plus Jeff is too defensive about Cassi.
  • She also thinks that Cassi has Jordan's ear way too much.
  • Worry about how you play your own game, Rachel!
  • When the veto players were chosen, the third duo picked randomly was ... Rachel and Brendon.
  • That, of course, made Adam speculate that the others (Cassi/Shelly, Lawon/Kalia) weren't even in the bag and it's all rigged.
  • I go back to when I knew the producer in charge of the comps and defend the producers. While they could very well have their favorites, they would never not include all the names in the bag or rig a particular comp!
  • After a long feeds block, the results are in.
  • Adam and Dominic won the Power of Veto.
  • Rachel, in some kind of choosing aspect of the comp, is on slop for two weeks.
  • Sucks to be Rachel, huh?
  • Dominic is beside himself with joy, taking all the credit for the win. (Which is probably likely his doing anyway.)
  • He's walking around talking in his high-pitched Mario voice gloating about the first win for the Newbie camp.
  • Now all deals are off with the Veterans, as far as he's concerned.
  • Apparently Rachel's behavior in the comp -- loud and agreeing (whatever) to the slop irked Jeff. He's ticked. Daniele told him Rachel is sinking her own ship.
  • Rachel's comp behavior also caused another Brendon condescending lecture to her. Argh.
  • At one point Rachel said, in her whiny voice with lips quivering, "No wonder America hates me."
  • YES! You got it, girl! You're damn annoying!
  • The Veterans think they have enough votes for Cassi to go since they need to go to Plan B.
  • In a talk with Shelly, Jeff and Jordan told her that they don't plan on a final four with Rachel and Brendon.
  • Good.
  • Apparently Rachel took the two weeks of slop because she wanted to win and yelled something about if the HoH (Jordan) isn't willing to take it or win PoV, she didn't deserve to be HoH.
  • But she didn't win anyway and just alienated Jordan and Jeff.
  • Keep sinking that ship, Rachel!
  • Jordan told Jeff that Rachel doesn't like any of the girls because she's so insecure in her relationship with Brendon.
  • Y'know, Jordan can be ditzy, but she often reads people pretty well.
  • That said, she trusts Cassi more than Cassi deserves to be trusted.
  • The jellybeans they have are actually JellyBelly ones, not cheap outdated dollar store jellybeans. I'm shocked!
  • After the big excitement of the day, they're down to small talk.
  • The veto meeting won't be until Monday, so we'll be in a lull until then.
  • It looks just about certain that Shelly and Cassi will be on the block with Cassi being the target. We'll see.

I wonder what that chin really looks like.

I think the colors in that room would keep me awake.

Note Brendon's jacked-up knees due to the food comp.

Ahh, it's Jeff looking contemplative.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Bulletin: PoV 7/16/11

Ah, the game gets interesting -- Adam and Dominic (the nominated duo) won the Power of Veto.

Might I suggest that Brendon and Rachel go on the block?

I know. I'm just dreaming.

A full report of the day's events in the house will be posted late tonight.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Into Saturday Dawn 7/16/11

To sleep, perchance to dream.
Okay, just sleeping will do!

The nominations are in. Two days of hectic stressful activity have taken their toll. This is the first night the hamsters all went to bed before dawn. Today they will tackle the PoV comp. Time to catch up on the latest happenings from inside that Big Brother House of Persnickety Pairs:
  • Lots and lots of small talk.
  • Kalia told Lawon (over and over again) that she doesn't trust Cassi, doesn't like Cassi.
  • Okay, I think he gets it!
  • She says Cassi is doing exactly what she criticized Porsche for doing -- sucking up to the Veterans.
  • Rachel pointed out to Jordan that now that she won HoH, Cassi is all of a sudden her friend.
  • Well, duh!
  • Jeff warned Jordan not to say much to Cassi, too.
  • It looks like they've figured her out, eh?
  • Brendon fussed to one of the cameras about his missing toy turtle Franklin. It's been five days.
  • No, I don't know where Franklin is. If he's smart, he got out of the house and hitchhiked a ride up the coast.
  • Lawon told Cassi he still trusts her despite what she thinks of his partner.
  • Hmmm ...
  • Jeff told Adam not to play seriously (throw!) the PoV.
  • Brendon told Jeff that the girls always play the game with their emotions, not their minds.
  • This comes from the emotional needy Brendon Bookie Boy.
  • Daniele wants the noms to change so that Cassi goes up.
  • Yeah, she's taken a liking to Dominic.
  • Cassi told Daniele that she heard that people are talking about how she (Cassi) can't be trusted. She wants Daniele to come to her if she has any questions.
  • Like that will happen.
  • The majority of the Veterans are still for a Dominic eviction.
  • They're all sleeping as I get this posted.

What? Just a boring Yale sweatshirt?

Who was it that said she wouldn't clean up after others?

Jeff and Jordan, reflected in a mirror, watch the spy cam.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Into Friday Evening (Nominations, too!) 7/15/11

Seriously, that hair is way too dark!

Well, here we are again -- Friday, a busy day in the Habitrail. Almost all of the action in the house (with the exception of brouhahas) is crammed between Thursday and Saturday. Thursday is live eviction and HoH. Friday is the food comp and nominations. Saturday is the PoV comp. While the PoV meeting is on Sunday, that doesn't really count as action in my book.

So, how have the hamsters handled their busy day in that Big Brother House of Busy Bees?
  • Shelly was up first. It's odd how the "older" hamsters usually tend to be the earliest risers.
  • Had Evel Dick stayed in the game, the two could have done some early morning scheming.
  • Alas.
  • Right now I'd say that Shelly definitely has the best social game and strategy of the Newbie Crew.
  • Adam made (and ate) a ton o' bacon. He must have had a premonition.
  • They talked 9/11 and Star Wars, not at the same time, of course.
  • Shelly said that Cassi swore on her father that she wouldn't put Jeff and Jordan on the block if she won HoH next week.
  • I think she would put Brendon and Rachel up, though.
  • That's fine by me!
  • They were told to wear athletic clothes for the food comp.
  • Rachel worried about it being a "messy" comp and not getting proper warning.
  • I just shrug at her lately. She's not worth an eyeroll.
  • The feeds were blocked for a couple of hours for the comp.
  • Our new Have Nots are: Adam, Dominic, Cassi and Shelly.
  • America voted for them to have jellybeans and jerky. I could handle that. I'd demand fresh gourmet jellybeans, though -- none of that dollar store stock!
  • The food comp apparently was pretty rough physically. Most of them are all banged up, plus Rachel was throwing up in the bushes.
  • A medical unit had to be called, but no broken bones!
  • I heard talk about bananas and hot dogs. So they were being physical and eating, too.
  • Blech.
  • Kalia told the HoH crew she thinks that Cassi would be better to be put up than Dominic because she can't trust her.
  • And she thinks she can trust Dominic?
  • Fool if she does!
  • In Dominic's talk with the HoH crew, he admitted to making an alliance with one of each Newbie Duo.
  • Jeff told Dominic he (and Adam, his duo buddy) would be going on the block.
  • Jordan, remembering the rule that you can't tell them beforehand, said it wasn't 100% sure.
  • But, with Jordan as HoH, we know it's more Jeff as HoH, right?
  • Dominic also told them he knew about Adam's early deal with Evel Dick.
  • Dominic still thinks Adam and Kalia were the "betrayal" votes and wouldn't mind if Adam got the boot.
  • He also said he has no problem in voting Cassi out.
  • Plus he told Jeff and Jordan that he thinks Daniele is spying on him.
  • The kid is scrambling, eh?
  • As he should.
  • Jeff and Jordan trust Kalia over Cassi.
  • As they should.
  • Jeff told Cassi that she and Shelly (her duo buddy) aren't on their radar.
  • Brendon once again started lecturing Rachel, this time about her hanging around Cassi too much.
  • Both of you! Brendon and Rachel! Get out of my life and off of my television! Unless we get a knockdown cat fight smackdown, I don't want to see you!
  • Huh. Jeff had laser eye surgery with Jordan handling the bill. Interesting!
  • And, the moment we've all been waiting for ...
  • ... the feeds have been blocked forever ...
  • Nominations are in and ...
  • Adam and Dominic are indeed on the block.
  • Dominic is the target.

I know the feeling, Kalia!

First Dominic's butt on the kitchen table,
now Adam's nasty sneakered feet.
EWWW!
