Off Topic - That Was the Week It Was - July 24, 2011

It's Sunday morning, time for my weekly off television reflection on the week gone by in both words and photos I've taken. If you're looking for BB13 news, check out the post before this one and (likely) the post after it later on today.

One good thing about having knee replacement surgery is that I'm not hiking back and forth to the train for work during this monstrous heatwave. I HATE sweating, especially when my forehead is sweating into my eyes and on my eyeglasses!

I only ventured outside the three days I had to this week -- follow-up appointment with the surgeon on Monday, physical therapy Tuesday and Friday. I wore my typical post-op using public transportation clothes, bulky gym shorts and a t-shirt, along with my sympathy crutch to get the buses to "kneel" and so folks let me sit. For my PT trips, I even wore a sweatband, something I really can't get away with commuting to work.

The kindnesses of strangers when you have a big shark bite surgical incision on your knee continues to surprise me. Two different people I don't know in my building have offered to carry my trash bag out to the Dumpster when they saw me. A woman who didn't speak English had her young daughter bring me a small bottle of water at a bus stop. At another bus stop, a car stopped to go into the bodega and the woman getting out asked if I needed anything.

But then there was the NJ Transit bus driver who not only didn't kneel the bus, he didn't even pull to the side at any of his stops! That was early on Tuesday morning. I won't schedule PT at that time again. I took my time getting on and off the bus. Oh, too bad he had to wait, eh?

My orthopedic surgeon is very pleased with my knee and its progress. I go back in four weeks ... well, three weeks and a day now. My physical therapy is going very well. He hasn't measured the bend since my first visit, so I asked him for the latest. 125 on my own! YES! It still wants to have its good days and bad days, but I know how bad things could be and I'm very happy.

I have another grocery delivery lined up from Peapod tomorrow. Fruit! Meats! Vegetables! Yes!

Here are the photos I've taken this week -- clicking on an image will open it larger in a new window, then hit your Back button on your browser to return to the blog:

Flowers in a fence

I always like man vs. nature themes. Flowers and fences fit the bill. This was on Maple Avenue in Bound Brook where most of the flower photos this week took place. There's a wild garden run amok with flowers right alongside the sidewalk.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Through Saturday Evening 7/23

Are Porsche's duckies all in a row?
Probably not.

To recap things a bit -- Jordan, Jeff, Rachel and Brendon realize that Daniele is working with Dominic and Dominic's working everyone. Initially, when Rachel made the nominations, Adam was the target (provided the veto wasn't used). That seems to be changing despite all the pushing Daniele is doing to save Dominic. Then the veto comp (blocked to the feeds) went down. Brendon won it.

Here's what's been happening in that Big Brother house of Lame Ducks:
  • The Veto comp was a spelling the longest word scenario, a bit similar to last year but with soap suds and more letters.
  • Brendon spelled "understanding" once again.
  • Rachel went into the comp wearing her contacts and was in misery with the soap in her eyes.
  • I think the hamsters have a valid point that they should give them goggles.
  • Jeff thinks he redeemed himself from his technotronics nightmare of the past.
  • Rachel seems to have inhaled soap or something, too. She keeps coughing.
  • Most of the hamsters napped but Shelly cleaned.
  • Oh, sure ... I'd like her to come here and clean. But her constant cleaning and puttering around adjusting things would drive me up the wall.
  • A lot of her excess energy is probably due to the long lockdown. They were locked down all day yesterday and then, after the comp, locked down again for the clean up of the yard.
  • That translates to "no smoking."
  • They think there will be another twist after the Golden Keys end this week.
  • They're probably right.
  • I probably won't like it.
  • Jordan and Shelly had a long talk with Rachel (then with Brendon, too) about Daniele and Dominic.
  • The tide seems to be shifting to a Dominic vote for the veterans. With Shelly they have enough votes to make a tie with Rachel being the tie-breaker.
  • Will they make the smart move -- keep noms the same and get rid of Dominic instead of Adam? That would leave Daniele dangling and Dominic is more likely to win comps.
  • Daniele has gotten way too sloppy in her strategy. While working with Dominic was a good move, she's TOO close to him and everyone knows.
  • The other Danielle some seasons back knew better how to work a secret alliance!
  • Daniele told Rachel that maybe Lawon should go.
  • Grasping at straws there, girl.
  • BB gave them alcohol again -- one bottle of wine and six beers. Exciting, eh?
  • Daniele tried to work on Kalia, telling her that Shelly doesn't like her (Kalia).
  • She thinks they can work together.
  • More grasping, more straws.
  • Kalia is actually a tough one to figure out, but I'm not so sure she's buying what Daniele's selling.
  • Kalia told Daniele they need to lay low.
  • That's about it. The Veto meeting won't be until Monday, but right now it looks like the nominations should remain the same with Dominic as the target.
  • Anything could happen between now and then.

Ohhh ... something new to do!

Daniele and Dominic, perhaps not quite a dynamic duo.

OWWW! Brendon's knees are never going to heal in the house!
(So maybe he should go home!)

Big Brother 13 - PoV Comp Update 7/23

Brendon won Power of veto.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Update - Saturday Morning

Nah, this isn't a full-fledged report -- they haven't given me enough fodder! But there has been an interesting development I feel the need to mention.

In my last report or two, I mentioned how Daniele was pushing Brendon and Rachel for a Jeff/Jordan nomination or backdoor. Well, guess what? Brendon, Rachel, Jeff and Jordan all got together comparing notes. They know that Dominic has approached both couples for deals and that Daniele is probably more loyal to the newbies. Hmmm ...

Porsche was chosen to host the PoV comp. The comp is yet to happen and they're still all stuck inside.

Big Brother Live Feeds Into Saturday Dawn 7/23

Heh. Daniele ripped Brendon's knee scab off while scuffling.

If you haven't read the few short posts preceding this one, please check them out! Here's the scoop on what's been happening in that Big Brother House of Lockdown Lads and Lassies:
  • No, I did not call Rachel a dog. Lassies like girls!
  • Would I do that?
  • Some big backyard doings must be going on for today's PoV comp as they've been locked down inside since early last night.
  • The smokers must be going bonkers.
  • No one except Rachel (who took two weeks of slop) is on slop this week.
  • Even Rachel can eat the stuff she received in the HoH basket.
  • Instead of a food comp, they had a luxury comp and a visit from David Hasselhoff.
  • They could have mixed comp and Hoff by crawling around on the floor eating fast food and drinking!
  • Jordan won the luxury comp and chose two people (beside Jeff) to go into the HoH room for a show.
  • Rachel was mad that Jordan won.
  • Rachel was mad that Jordan chose Kalia and Shelly instead of her.
  • The big show was only Same Name (follows BB13 this Sunday, I believe).
  • @@
  • Daniele keeps trying to get Brendon and Rachel to consider backdooring Jordan and Jeff.
  • Dominic continues to work with Daniele, yet has also been trying to worm his way in with the two power couples at different times.
  • When the nominations came down, Rachel nominated Adam and Dominic.
  • She says that Adam is the target.
  • Daniele has been pushing for the Dominic save, but Rachel also thinks if the "floaters" stay to the end, it will be too late.
  • Supposedly if they get saved by the veto, Lawon and Kalia will go up with Lawon the probably target.
  • Yet Daniele is still pushing for the power move of Jeff and Jordan.
  • Rachel says she'll worry about it when the time comes -- right now they should plan on Adam going home.
  • With them locked inside all night and poor camera work -- extended time watching Rachel and Porsche play game and Shelly going wild cleaning and straightening, the feeds were "eh" last night.
  • Most of the game talk has been talked before (and will be talked again).
  • Porsche, who doesn't seem to really have a plan (or a clue), might actually have one. She warned Rachel that she thinks Daniele will betray the veterans.
  • Oh my. Except for her misguided loyalty to Rachel, she might actually be thinking!
  • In a spot of tomfoolery, Daniele accidentally ripped one of the scabs off of Brendon's knee.
  • "It's a good thing nominations are over!"
  • Like she could be nominated with that Golden Key anyway.
  • But it was funny.
  • Brendon exaggerated the injury for comic relief, but I think he was a bit upset underneath the act.
  • Shelly and Dominc had a long talk. She told him that Daniele is out for herself and how she used Nick in BB8.
  • Dominic is trying to get in everyone's ear. If he doesn't watch it, he might end up being a Brian with all of his deals and alliances outed.
  • PoV players will be picked and PoV will be played later today.
  • I anticipate a late PoV as BB gave them alcohol last night, albeit not much.
  • Usually they give them none when anticipating an early comp.
  • We'll see.

If Kalia doesn't stop waving that thing around ...

The dog knows it all

Well, yeah ...

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Bulletin - Nominations and More 7/22

Another long feeds block endured.

First (as I'm still waiting for them to talk more about noms), they're talking how David Hasselhoff seemed to be on some kind of drugs and how far downhill he's gone. Oh my.

Okay, it's Adam and Dominic on the block.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Quickie 7/22

After a very long feeds block, they came back on with little information so far. Here's what I got:
  • Rachel did not win a luxury.
  • Rachel and Brendon are wheeling and dealing with Dominic.
  • David Hasselhoff was the celebrity.
  • Brendon and Rachel are turning against Jeff and Jordan, but probably not ready to nominate them.
  • It sounds like either Adam or Kalia might be targeted this week.
  • Daniele and Dominic are playing everybody.
  • Daniele told Dominic that Shelly was one of the votes who went against the newbies the first week.
  • Dominic might be a Have Not as he mentioned "his" Have Not room.
  • The cameras all keep focusing on the same thing.
  • That really bugs me.
  • I've seen nothing other than Dom/Daniele and Brendon/Rachel/Dominic.
  • The rest could have been killed by an ax murderer for all I know.
  • Oh, wait. Porsche made a cameo looking for nail polish.
  • Dominic thinks Porsche has no game plan.
  • I think he's right.
  • Rachel thinks Brendon needs to apologize to production for snapping at them over something.
  • More later!
UPDATE: Apparently Kalia, Shelly, Jeff and Jordan screened the new Same Name series in the HoH room and the rest didn't.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Into Friday Dawn 7/22

Jeffy!

Of all people to be HoH, it's Rachel again. Oh well, she's just making that target on her back bigger and bigger. The first chance the newbies get, whoever gets it, it's going to be obligatory to get either her or Brendon out. If they don't make the move, they're chicken^%$! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of the Hyena HoH:
  • So, what happens to Rachel's two weeks on slop?
  • She's still on slop with the exception of any foods in her HoH basket!
  • Yay.
  • I take pleasure in the finer details.
  • Brendon, on the other hand, wants to eat while he knows he can because the food comp will be coming up.
  • Huh. We weren't asked to vote on a food, were we? Did I miss that?
  • Adam told Shelly he hopes Rachel puts up Kalia and Lawon instead of him and Dominic.
  • Well, duh. It's not like Brenchel has much of a choice this week.
  • Rachel told Jeff and Jordan she's thinking of putting up Dominic and Adam.
  • She thinks that if Dominic goes up and gets off again, he's going to be hard to beat in competitions.
  • I think she's right.
  • Daniele is slowly working her save Dominic card, hinting that Jeff is going to be a danger down the road. She told her Jeff and Jordan are already working newbies to their side.
  • Rachel thinks it's too early to split up the veterans.
  • Daniele also offered advice to Rachel like not rubbing HoH in peoples' faces.
  • Rachel thinks she needs to put up Dominic and Adam because: (a) Dominic got all cocky when he won PoV (like she never does that!) and (b) Adam hasn't talked game with her for three weeks.
  • Adam rarely talks game with anyone other than Dominic.
  • Shelly told Adam and Jordan that she didn't realize Lawon was gay. After all, he's always talking about women!
  • She only knows because he told her. She doesn't think he "acts feminine" at all.
  • Heh. Sheltered folks make me smirk.
  • Shelly told Rachel she could keep her fights with Brendon quiet.
  • PLEASE.
  • She also reminded her not to gloat about winning, just be gracious.
  • Rachel admitted she has a problem in that area.
  • You don't say!
  • Shelly, playing her cards wisely, warned Rachel that Daniele and Dominic will probably be working together.
  • Yes, Shelly has worked her way into BOTH power couples. Don't call her a floater!
  • After Shelly left, Brendon lit into Rachel telling her she is never to talk game without him there.
  • Oh, geez.
  • Another lecture from him about being adults and not children.
  • I think my eyes AND ears are bleeding!
  • When Rachel came out of the Diary Room with "Who wants to see my HoH room?" they all pelted her with pillows.
  • No one, I say!
  • Brendon fussed to Rachel that he gave up so much to be there and her family didn't even mention him in her letter.
  • Heh.
  • Daniele continues to work to keep Dominic.
  • Kalia told Rachel that Lawon should go.
  • Hmm.
  • Right now it looks like Dominic, Adam or Lawon will be walking out the door on Thursday.
  • But we'll see.

Big Brother 13 Live Eviction and HoH Show Blog Party 7/21

Let's get ready!

Photobucket

The live eviction/HoH show is about to begin here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll update this post with the major happenings. But, as always, the real fun is in the comments area. Come join in as you watch the show!

Yes! Cassi told Rachel she's catty and ugly inside! Rachel cries.

Blogger went wonky and lost my update. So I forgot the voting order ... but it's unanimous, Cassi is voted out.

HoH comp -- Big Brother Online -- based on the questions online, they have to guess how America answered. This one anyone can win.

Kalia out. Jeff out. Ack, three knocked out -- between Rachel and Brendon. Sigh.

Oh geez, Rachel is HoH. I might be ill.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Into Thursday Dawn 7/21

No more exciting than chess

You know ... in order for me to report on the live feeds, I really prefer some sort of action! I'm not one who's going to relay all the small talk -- what celebrities they like, etc. Nor will I report on every breath they take or exactly what they're eating at any given moment. I watch for stuff that catches my eye, things I think are interesting. This crew didn't give me a heck of a lot of fodder yesterday.

Here's what happened yesterday and last night in that Big Brother House of Droning Dullards:
  • Shelly, who could very well be the dark horse in this race, continues to work her social game. Every single person in the house likes her. No one considers her a threat.
  • She cleans and socializes.
  • I think they should watch out!
  • Rachel told Brendon she doesn't like girls who are manipulative and tell sob stories.
  • Oh my ... Rachel herself is a walking manipulative sob story!
  • Rachel thinks the HoH comp will be a Majority Rules question comp.
  • I agree judging on the questions on the CBS website.
  • Those are always a crap shoot. Anyone could win; it's all a guessing game.
  • Heck, I didn't even know how to answer some of them!
  • Jordan got the HoH camera and they actually had fun with the photos.
  • One thing different from previous years is the lack of vitriol between the two camps.
  • But no one other than Brendon really likes Rachel.
  • Cassi has been pretty much the only one to call her out on it.
  • Well, Jeff, too. But his doesn't count as much as he knows they need to work together.
  • Cassi told Dominic that Shelly is the most trustful person in the house. She said she won't do anything sneaky or shady because she enjoys her job and wants to go back to it.
  • Alas, she also told Dominic about Shelly's "friend to all" strategy. She advised Dominic to get together with Shelly after she (Cassi) goes.
  • Jordan told Cassi she's worried about next week. Cassi told her people really have to get Rachel or Brendon out.
  • We know that.
  • I do agree it wasn't time for Jeff and Jordan to sever the Brendon/Rachel ties this week. It would be far better for them if someone else did the deed.
  • Cassi packed. Shelly plans to pack in the morning. As I post this
  • Dominic threw grapes at passerby from the chess board area.
  • Rachel actually picked up the grapes for him when he jokingly asked her to do so.
  • Wanna bet she wouldn't have done that for a girl?
  • When Brendon gave Adam a choice between bacon and cigarettes, Adam chose bacon.
  • I didn't realize that bacon was so addictive!
  • Speaking of which, now I want bacon.
  • As I post this, Shelly is the only one up. Out in the yard smoking ... I wish she'd talk to us like Evel Dick did every morning.
  • Now I must go fix some bacon.

Big Brother 13 PoV Show Blog Party 7/20

Photobucket

It's the big Power of Veto show -- at least we'll get to see Rachel's bad behavior in the comp! (Like we haven't seen that before!) As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with major events. The real fun is down in the comments area. Please join us there!

PoV Players -- Jordan/Jeff, Adam/Dominic (Adam is supposed to throw the comp) and the chosen duo - Brendon and Rachel. Daniele is the host.

Candy all over the yard. They're playing as individuals but the winner will have the power to take the duo off the block. They have to chew gumballs across the balance beam then complete a veto portrait. If you fall, out of comp unless you accept two weeks of slop.

Jordan fell wanted slop but Jeff is telling her no. She's out. Rachel is mad and feels she and Brendon need to take back control. Rachel fell and took the slop to continue playing, fell again and is out.

Dominic wins!

Jeff confronted Rachel about her bad behavior and she's crying in the bushes. Heh.

The editing is trying to lead viewers to think that Jordan will backdoor Brendon and Rachel. Not so. Dominic uses the veto, she puts Cassi and Shelly on the block. Hopes to further herself and Jeff in the game.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Into Wednesday Dawn 7/20

Fashion Plate Lawon

Another evening and overnight in that Big Brother House of Misfit Toys:
  • Porsche is almost invisible in the house -- her game is to hang out with Rachel, but not when Rachel and Brendon are fighting.
  • So we don't really see her all that often.
  • She told Rachel that Shelly told her she voted for her to stay and that she thinks the other person was Kalia.
  • Porsche said that Dominic and Adam said they would have voted for her to stay had they realized the numbers had changed.
  • Well, duh.
  • Jeff isn't feeling well. Later on he said he didn't work out because he has to keep going ... and going. You get it.
  • Rachel said that the season finale will be September 16. How she knows, I don't know. That's a Friday night and unlikely.
  • They lined up every condiment that they're allowed trying to think of a creative new way to cook slop.
  • Another night of "scary ghost stories" ahead.
  • Oh, yeah. I'm excited.
  • Brendon and Rachel claim they spend $2000 a month on food, more than they pay in rent.
  • That has to be fun when Rachel works at a slightly more than minimum wage job three days a week!
  • Dominic said Brendon eats eight to ten eggs for breakfast. That's ridiculous!
  • The boy needs to go on slop, I say!
  • Brendon put his superhero clothes on once again and made a plea to the feeds for the return of Franklin the toy turtle.
  • Tell ya what, Brendon ... we'll send a banner plane telling you where you can find Franklin if you and Rachel hit that panic bar and just leave.
  • You can even take Franklin with you.
  • The BEST part of the night was when Daniele, Jeff, Jordan, Lawon and Dominic spied on Rachel and Brendon fighting.
  • They mocked their fights much as we do!
  • At one point Lawon went down and danced for the spy cam.
  • Brendon claimed he was going over ghost stories he wants to tell.
  • Sure.
  • The body language and silences told their own story!
  • Cassi cried some more because she knows she's leaving.
  • Shelly worried some more just in case she's leaving.
  • Lawon, Dominic and Cassi stayed up just about all night.
  • They're still up as I get this posted.

Slop - it's what's for dinner!

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Into Tuesday Evening 7/19

Digging for gold?

I tell ya, Allison Grodner ... you seriously need to do something to shake up this snoozefest of a season! I called the prank yesterday an epic fail, but this season could very well doom future seasons. The returning duos? Fail. The casting? Fail. The network scheduling and downtime in the house? Fail. Brendon and Rachel? SUPER fail.

Anyway, here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Woeful Wombats:
  • Oh, late at night, they had a pillowfight! Wowsers.
  • They talked about all answering Julie Chen with weird voices during the live show.
  • They told (bad) scary stories.
  • Then a monster ATE all the hamsters!
  • Um. No. I just made that up.
  • Apparently Jeff wants to move to Los Angeles. Jordan is considering it, but thinks she'll be lonely because Jeff has plans to do work travel stuff.
  • Gee, she could hang out with Rachel!
  • Cassi is sure she's leaving this week and said she'd eat slop and take cold showers the rest of the season if only she could stay.
  • It doesn't work that way, girl.
  • Shelly, as usual, was up early doing laundry, cleaning and smoking.
  • Not necessarily all at the same time, mind you.
  • This is why they need to be off my computer, off my TV and out of my life -- Brendon and Rachel had yet another broken record argument about "Bookie" (Bukey, kind of like Pukey?) and her showing him too much affection in front of others.
  • I'm so sick of their twisted mentality needy people fights.
  • Once again, just a lot of small talk mixed in with "what if" game talk.
  • Fix this mess, Grodner!

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Monday Evening 7/18

What?
Mike Boogie's back in the house?
Oh. Wait.
It's just Shelly.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Pitiful Pranksters:
  • After an afternoon of tears, the mood in the house changed.
  • Rats. I wanted some brouhahas!
  • Dominic thinks the Regulators might very well be the worst alliance in BB history.
  • I think he might very well be right.
  • Lawon and Cassi blame the failure on Keith.
  • After the cryfest of the others was well over, Shelly had her own pity party.
  • She's worried that she might go home.
  • Daniele assured her she's safe.
  • Wah. Wah.
  • Sheesh, folks ... if you're going to cry I want a smackdown or something lively!
  • Rachel told Brendon she went crying to Jordan because she wanted Jordan to feel sorry for her more than she did for Cassi.
  • Whacko.
  • I feel sorry for Jordan!
  • Then the prank planning started.
  • When Adam fell asleep outside (against the rules), they all joined together to put red tape across his photo and make an arrow out of the keys.
  • Then they decided to decorate the fortune teller with the keys and the veto necklace instead.
  • They all ran up to the HoH room to watch him on the spy cam.
  • Adam slept some more.
  • Brendon ran down, banged on the glass door, then hightailed it back up.
  • Adam remained sleeping.
  • After probably an hour of anticipation in the HoH room, Adam finally walked into the house.
  • He saw the tape, laughed and removed it.
  • Then he set about making jerky burgers.
  • Adam laughed off the whole thing.
  • Epic prank fail.
  • BB gave them alcohol, probably hoping to liven them up more for Showtime.
  • Cassi cried some more.
  • Lots of small talk and delusions of what they'd do if they were HoH.
  • Laters.

A whole lotta jellybeans!

The suspense builds.

Epic prank fail.
He notices, laughs and removes the tape.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Bulletin - PoV Meeting

The PoV meeting, blocked to the feeds, went down. No surprises here -- Dominic saved himself (and thus Adam, too), a new duo went on the block.

Shelly and Cassi are on the block.

It should be bye-bye Cassi this week, I predict.

Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Through Monday Morning 7/18

Where am I?
What am I doing in this handbasket?

My sincere apologies for being so long between live feeds reports. Not that it's an excuse (but it is!), for those who don't know -- I'm recovering from a major surgery and I'm not quite 100% yet in the concentration department. But I'm here now and here's what's been happening in that Big Brother House of Catty Crazies:
  • Jordan said she's actually like to do something dramatic (nominate Brendon and Rachel is the meaning of dramatic).
  • Jeff thinks it's too early for that move but would stand behind whatever she wants to do.
  • As much as I want Rachel to go and as sick I am of watching the neverending Brenchal drama codependently play out, I think Jeff is right. It's too early and they need them not only for a voting block, but to protect themselves because as long as Brendon and Rachel are in the game, they're more of a target.
  • Dominic has continued to worm his way into the Veterans Circle, casting a lot of the mistrust onto his duo buddy Adam (who's less of a threat remaining in the game than Dominic, but hey ...)
  • Cassi is sure that she'll be going home since Dominic is sure to save himself (and thus Adam) with the PoV.
  • She's keeping a push on for a backdoor of Brendon and Rachel.
  • Sigh. It's unlikely.
  • Brendon told Damiele how frustrated he is with Rachel lately -- she's gloating about wins, making jabs at others and generally playing a poor social game.
  • Stupid Brendon. What made him thing her behavior would be any different this season from last?
  • Cassi hopes that if she goes home, a Pandora's box or America's Vote might get her back in the house.
  • Don't hold your breath, girl.
  • I like you better than I like Rachel but you haven't endeared me yet!
  • Jordan doesn't particularly trust Porsche and thinks she (Porsche) has become way too close to Rachel.
  • Kalia understands that Jordan can't backdoor Rachel and Brendon this early in the game and says that she's in the alliance with them all too and knows they need the numbers.
  • Dominic told Daniele he definitely has a deal with Jeff and Jordan.
  • For now, that'll work. Brendon and Rachel are better targets.
  • Then it happened ...
  • CAT FIGHT!
  • Rachel told Cassi that after she made a deal she (Cassi) went around saying that Brendon and Rachel needed to be nominated and no one had the "balls" to do it."
  • Cassi didn't deny it and said that she's just being honest and is probably the most honest person in the house.
  • Rachel told Cassi that she's the worst game player ever in the house!
  • Cassi came back with how Rachel can't ever get along with girls in the house!
  • MEOW. HISS. GROWL. SPIT!
  • They eventually split up before the hairpulling stage.
  • Rats.
  • Then Jordan did something which belies every moment of ditziness she's ever displayed. She went for the peacemaker role.
  • First she talked to Rachel, who teared up but didn't get upset with Jordan for being honest with her.
  • Albeit a bit sugarcoated, Jordan went over Rachel's poor social game and tried to convince her to not give those little jabs, not gloat over wins, not feel she needs to win everything, not rub the Brendon and her coupling so much ...
  • Actually Brendon has been trying to give Rachel the same advice, but he's so condescending when he does it that it makes her more upset.
  • Coming from Jordan, it was more like a concerned friend trying to help her.
  • But Rachel cried anyway and talked about the mean girls last season and how Cassi reminds her of them, how people hate her, etc.
  • Then Jordan talked to Cassi. Cassi was less receptive than Rachel about the talk.
  • But neither took offense to Jordan because she did her part so diplomatically.
  • Yay, Jordan!
  • Poor Jordan that she was in the middle of things, though.
  • Rachel cried, then cried some more.
  • Jordan tried to comfort her.
  • Daniele rolled her eyes.
  • Heh, gotta like that Daniele, too!
  • Jeff still thinks Cassi has to go this week.
  • Jordan doesn't want to put Kalia and Lawon up because she definitely trusts Kalia and Lawon can be worked with.
  • Jordan said, down the line, Daniele would scare her in the Final Four.
  • Yep, she should scare anyone - she plays a good social game and is good at comps, too!
  • Both Jeff and Jordan said they'd love it if Evel Dick was in there to stir up stuff now.
  • So would I!
  • Cassi admitted to Dominic that she models full time and has done many major magazines.
  • No, I'm not talking Playboy and Hustler! Minds out of that gutter please before you get thrown under the bus!
  • Cassi said that, stleast if she goes this week, she leaves with her integrity intact.
  • Yes, though I'm not on the Save Cassi Bandwagon, she hasn't done anything wrong in the house.
  • I also give her kudos for the friction with Rachel. At least it made the feeds worthwhile last night!
  • Mind you, Cassi isn't even on the block yet. The Veto meeting is later today, but it's just about a done deal now.

I want that refrigerator!
