BB19: Live Feeds into Monday - August 21

Who woulda thunk it?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Obnoxious Oafs:
  • In reference to the screen cap above -- in the beginning of the season, I pegged Christmas as a strong contender and Josh as a pretty much a loon. Who would have thought this team up would even start up, say nothing about still existing so late in the season?
  • Sundays are usually the most boring day of the week in the house -- no comps, just a PoV meeting ahead on Monday.
  • At least Kevin got his yard open. It makes a definite difference in his demeanor.
  • When the PoV is pretty much a given -- as it is this week -- things are relatively easy-going among the hamsters.
  • Yes, Mark knows he's the target and will probably go on the block and out the door this week. He hasn't really given up trying to stay. He's being nice. That's pretty much all he can do at this point.
  • Paul had an extremely long talk with the camera going over his strategy so far and in upcoming days.
  • He said he's "owned" every HoH except for Jessica and Cody. Yep, he has. Some viewers have certainly been vocal about him doing so.
  • But it's a feather in his BB cap.
  • He hasn't been on the block and everybody except Jessica and Cody have followed his direction so far.
  • Obnoxious dude or not, not many could have pulled it off.
  • Of course, that doesn't mean his followers won't turn on him. They're quite likely to do so.
  • In other news ... while Christmas, Josh and Paul want to target either Jason or Matt next, Alex, Jason, and Raven want Kevin gone.
  • Paul wants Kevin to remain in until the final five to give him (Paul) a better chance of winning it all.
  • Raven told Matt that she can't believe no one has targeted Paul.
  • Ha. She's been a part of that, hasn't she?
  • She also told Christmas about some new and different health woes she has.
  • I can't believe no one's targeted her! After all, shouldn't she be living in assisted care or something with all of her health issues?!?!
  • Christmas, playing on their agenda, encouraged Matt and Raven to keep Kevin nervous.
  • Sigh.
  • I like Kevin. He's been so different than most on the live feeds and has entertained me. But I do sense he's packing it in a bit and isn't going to give his 100% for the win.
  • Paul also continues to cast doubt on Kevin's integrity.
  • The latest is that he's lying about having seven children. He's not.
  • Mark made a few last ditch efforts to see if there's any way he can stay.
  • While Christmas told him she hasn't really made up her mind yet, we know she has. He knows it, too.
  • Christmas and Josh want the final four with themselves, Paul and Raven. They think if Alex makes it that far, she'd boot Paul.
  • Tons of small talk.
  • Raven loves Josh? Oh my.
  • On that note ...

BB19: HoH, Nominations, New Temptatiion Show Blog Party - August 20

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging and constantly updating this entry -- refresh the page to get the latest! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join in on the fun!

Recap ... Cody is out again!

Finally, the HoH comp has matches two by two figuring out "decrypted" clues
Raven vs. Mark
Paul vs. Alex
Christmas vs. Kevin
Josh vs. Matt

Mark is out. Alex is out. Kevin out. Matt out.

Second round -- Raven vs. Paul -- Raven out.
-- Christmas vs. Josh -- Josh out.

Final round is Christmas vs. Paul. Christmas wins thanks to Paul tossing it to her.

Mark is the target and he knows it. Alex thinks Kevin should the alternate. Now she thinks he's a cop because he said he met Derrick "back home." (It was actually at a BB fan thing.) She tells Jason that Kevin is shady and he needs to cut ties with him. Jason will go with Alex because she's his "ride or die."

Jason tells Kevin that he must have done something to Alex. Kevin denies it. Kevin asks Alex what's going on. Alex claimed it was all about him constantly asking about food.

Christmas asks Josh what's going on. Now, he was a partial witness to the Alex, Jason and Kevin kerfuffle. Josh tells Christmas that he thinks Jason and Alex are acting sketchy and they're good liars.

Jason's short HoH reign got him an HoH basket. He cries as he reads his letter. He gets the news that his wife is pregnant!

We get a bit on the Josh/Christmas bond. They do seem to truly like each other and care about one another.

Paul tells us he needs to attach himself with each power couple, the third to each pair. It's actually a good plan. It's a shame no one else is playing a thinking game in the house this season.

Christmas needs pawns to get Mark out. She's thinking of putting Jason and Matt up. If Mark wins the veto, it will be Jason. Kevin's name was tossed in there, but not the choice.

Oh, geez. It's a Josh and the stuffed owl Orwell bit. That happened weeks ago!

Whoa ... a big lighted tree in the living room! It's the Tree of Temptation. Five apples -- power or punishment. Once a houseguest chooses an apple, that's it. There are things like Eliminate Two Votes, Second Veto, Can't play in HoH, etc.

Mark, who really has nothing to lose at this point, claims an apple.

He has to open it in the living room in front of everybody. Save a Friend.

Christmas talks to her pawn possibilities to Matt and Raven. Matt volunteers. Christmas tells them if Mark wins, Kevin goes up. She then gives roughly the same speech to Alex and Jason. She tells them that Matt will go home if both stay on the block. Jason is up for it.

Mark talks to Josh and Christmas ... he knows he's the target. He points out the couples. She tells us that Mark made some sense in targeting the power couples. Hmm.

Nominations time. Mark has to reveal who he has chosen to save. He gives Paul safety for the week due to friendship in week one.

Christmas nominates Matt, then Jason. She tells Mark she hopes he understands.

ZingBot will be in the next episode.

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - August 20, 2017

Good morning! Since it's a Sunday morning, this is my weekly off television topic post taking a look at the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken along the way. This weekly post is done year in, year out. Big Brother, the main draw for so many of you, only lasts about three months -- although sometimes it seems to be a lifetime. If you're here solely for the BB posts, please feel free to skip this post. You can find my latest BB19 posts by using this link.

I really don't have a heck of a lot for you this week. It seems like the majority of my commutes were rain-filled or high heat and humidity bearing. So, I didn't really take many photos and, you realize if I take photos of landscaping rocks, I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel here. I will say that, with all the rain we've had throughout the summer, everything is amazingly green and lush for late August. Usually by this time, the lawns that aren't watered are dry and leaves on some of the trees are even dying.

Some random thoughts this week:
  • I'm not as thumpy or door-slammy as many neighbors in the building. I'll have to work on that.
  • People seriously need to keep moving when they step off a train or enter/exit stores. Ahem! People are BEHIND you.
  • Amazon Prime needs to stop using USPS for their "guaranteed two day delivery" packages. USPS is the most undependable carrier out there. A huge part of why I went to Amazon Prime is the delivery guarantee time. I'm only home two specific days a week. If I order something heavy for home delivery, I time it to appear on that day. I don't want to schlep heavy stuff from work to home on the train.
  • That said, I will be re-watching all five seasons of The Wire for free on Amazon Prime.
  • Soon I'll qualify for less than half-fare on NJ Transit.
  • But I won't be able to retire due to the added ridiculously high expense of health insurance on a reduced income even though I'd have Social Security, my work pension and my 401K. If not for the work-related health insurance ending -- although I can still carry cheap life insurance -- it would be easy to make ends meet. If you can retire at 62 on Social Security, you should be able to get Medicare at the same age!
  • Grr.
  • I have two full weeks of work, then a three day work week, then my next staycation. I seriously need it.
Onto the few photos I'm posting this week ...

Please

Not only on NJ Transit trains, but in the employee lounge at work, too! Sheesh, I'm the one with knee replacements and all kinds of leg and back issues. Yet the people nearly 40 years younger than I am tend to not be able to sit upright with feet on the floor. They have to sprawl out and practically be lying down in the chairs. I don't even like to sit on the chairs in the lounge -- they're all feet grungy. I feel like I should sit atop a plastic bag like I do on street benches.

Let the sun shine ...

Caught in the sun's morning rays, this morning glory is quite splendid indeed.

BB19: Live Feeds into Sunday, Power of Veto - August 20

Safe this week no matter what

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Millennial Mice:
  • The Veto comp went down -- with the live feeds blocked, of course.
  • It was a visit from ZingBot and the "sliding on greased lanes filling up containers" one that's usually an HoH shown on the live feeds.
  • At least, that's the gist of it from the conversations after the live feeds returned.
  • Grr. That's usually more fun to watch than wall endurance comps. I feel robbed!
  • Jason, who's on the block with Matt, won the comp.
  • He will surely save himself. He may be a clown, but his mama didn't raise no fool.
  • While Paul and part of his company are happy that Mark didn't win it, Paul is still on the anti-Kevin train. He also told Matt and Raven that if they get Jason out, Kevin will have no ties to Alex.
  • Hmm.
  • But Jason is safe this week.
  • Paul is safe, too. After all, his best lil' buddy Mark gave him the "save a friend" from their latest new temptation tree.
  • Will Paul stab his "savior" this week in the back?
  • Hell, yeah.
  • Mark is a dead man walking this week and will be evicted.
  • In their thinking, they have to get Mark out when they can. He can win comps.
  • It won't be a true backdoor because Mark played in the veto. A true backdoor (or Six Finger Plan as Nakomis who thought of the whole blindside scheme called it) gives the target no chance to save his or her butt in the game.
  • Mark knew he was a target. But a slip and slide comp for him is almost as bad as a wall would have been. He's not built for either.
  • Christmas agreed with Paul that they need to get Jason out.
  • Well, not gonna happen if he keeps winning comps!
  • Some of the zings from conversations -- Matt hasn't done anything but Raven. Alex is carrying too many people.
  • Oh. Raven's arthritis was aggravated by the comp.
  • Poor sick child.
  • Ahem.
  • Paul is ticked because BB wouldn't let them slide on their butts in the comp this year like he did last year.
  • He thinks BB makes rules up to make things harder for him.
  • It seems like more than half the show's fans think it's the other way around.
  • Apparently the ZingBot said something about recent current events outside the house.
  • Josh was amazed when Kevin said he remembers Nixon going out, Malcolm X., man walking on the moon and the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. "You were alive back then?!?!?!"
  • Oh my.
  • Now I feel even older as I have a handful of years over Kevin.
  • Alex and Jason are both free of their punishments.
  • And life is normal once again.
  • Oh, wait.
  • It's not.
  • It's still BB season.

BB19: Live Feeds Saturday - August 19

Trying his best to stay

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Rampant Rodents:
  • As I was posting the morning feeds update, Christmas saw a rat come out of one of the kitchen cabinets. She saw it on the HoH spy screen. So, we didn't see it.
  • Paul and Josh were with her and went down to search for it to no avail.
  • Christmas. Paul and Josh made a final three deal.
  • Paul claims that Jason was talking with Mark about getting him (Paul) out, plus Matt told him that Jason said he would take Alex to the final two. So he's lost his trust in him.
  • That's what he says.
  • And, Christmas needs Paul for a while longer.
  • Both told Josh he needs to calm down and watch what he says to others.
  • Well, that's a truth.
  • Christmas gets her boot early this coming week.
  • Not the same kind of boot Elena and Cody got last week!
  • Christmas and Josh think Mark needs to go, then Matt. They know Alex probably won't work with Kevin, definitely won't work with Raven. They need to split them up.
  • Oh ... BB gave them Tupperware containers for their food.
  • They also put some kind of zapping rat trap under the cabinets.
  • Raven claims she can't go near it because it would set off her pacemaker and she'd die.
  • I smiled.
  • You know, her mother was struck by lightning, right?
  • It's just so amazing that all these tragedies seem to target her poor family!
  • Jason thinks it's an imaginary rat.
  • I can't say. But I will say that Josh and Paul's expressions after Christmas said it was there looked like there is indeed a rat.
  • Or a mouse.
  • Hey, maybe it's an anteater. They could use one of them in the house!
  • The veto players were picked -- in addition to the nominees and HoH, it's Paul, Raven and MARK.
  • Apparently Christmas chose Raven in a Houseguest Choice.
  • Hmm.
  • Now, it they want Mark up and out, it would have been better to choose Alex, I'd think.
  • The Christmas/Paul eviction list is a bit different from the Christmas/Josh one -- Mark, Jason, Matt, Kevin.
  • WHAT ABOUT RAVEN? I WANT RAVEN ON SOMEONE'S LIST!
  • There are two Have Nots this week -- Josh and Mark.
  • Their new Temptation bit was an apple tree with prizes and punishments on it. Mark got "Save a Friend" and bequeathed safety for the week to his good ol' buddy Paul.
  • Say what?
  • I'm not sure what the others got.
  • Instead of getting Raven out, Christmas and Paul bring her into their fold, telling her Kevin and Mark are working together.
  • The latest plan is: if Mark doesn't win veto, he goes home. If Matt wins veto, Jason goes home. If Jason wins veto, Kevin goes up and out.
  • Oy!
  • As of this posting, they haven't played the Veto Comp.

BB19: Live Feeds into Saturday - August 19

Final two plan with Christmas?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Mousy Malcontents:
  • The live feeds returned at midnight-ish, East Coast time with the HoH comp long over -- done really late on Thursday night after the live show ended.
  • So, we didn't see it.
  • Christmas is the new HoH.
  • And, her nominations are Jason and Matt.
  • Gosh, I wish it was Raven up there!
  • Anyway ... the backdoor plan is in for Mark to go on the block and out the door.
  • Of course, if Mark gets chosen to play and wins veto, he lives to suffer another week in the house.
  • Kevin is in hot water with The Powers That Be for telling Jason if he wins veto, not to use it and Matt would go home.
  • Kevin, Kevin, Kevin ... you're on their radar. You know the backdoor plan. Don't put more of a target on yourself.
  • Christmas, though hobbled with a broken foot and often bad-tempered lately, is no dummy.
  • Although she has had a touchy-feeiy close relationship with Kevin, she doesn't want him in the final two with her. He could very well win because he's liked by all.
  • So, the time has come to work against him.
  • She doesn't want Paul in the final two with her, either. He's hands down the best player all season in the house, like him or not. (Yeah, I know a lot don't like him. I find him obnoxious, myself. But he's playing a very good game.) If it's Paul and Christmas in the final two and the jury votes purely on game play, Paul would win.
  • But, the time hasn't quite come to work against him. She will use him for at least a few more weeks to rally people, then stab him in the back.
  • Who does she want in the final two with her?
  • Why, her puppy dog Josh!
  • If she gets him to the final two with her, she would be the winner due to Josh's behavior (often coached by her).
  • At least that's how I see it, hamster watcher that I am.
  • In the anti-Kevin arena, Paul and Josh talked about Kevin needing to go away after Matt leaves. They think he's a big show fan and has just been acting dumb about the show and throwing comps.
  • WHY AREN'T THEY TALKING ABOUT GETTING RAVEN OUT!?!?!
  • I realize Raven's not much of a threat.
  • But I'm tired of watching someone with so many supposed diseases look, act and eat so healthy. Plus she does little other than cook chicken and hang on Matt.
  • Now, Josh whispered to Matt that Alex and Jason have been acting sketchy for a while.
  • Hmm ... coached whispers from Christmas to create rivalry between the others?
  • I don't know.
  • It's well known that Alex wants the couples out.
  • But does the remaining couple (Matt/Raven) know it?
  • Josh has been making nicey-nice with Mark -- mentioning that Mark and Dominique were the only two who talked to him the first few weeks.
  • They both vow to be friends outside the house.
  • Josh claims that he's lost family and friends over his quick and severe reactions to things. He thinks BB has helping him get over those issues.
  • I say, wait until the circus music fades.
  • A lot will hinge on the veto comp later today.
  • If Mark wins, he's safe.
  • If Jason or Matt win or someone else saves one of them, Mark will go on the block and out.
  • If the noms remain the same, it would likely be Matt going.
  • I guess we'll see.

Bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches coming!

Must play and win Veto this week

BB19: Special Friday Show Blog Party - August 18

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging and constantly updating this entry -- refresh the page to get the latest! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join in on the fun!

I'm not sure what the show will be all about except Derrick will be there. Maybe the new HoH comp? I just don't know. Let's watch and see.

On a side note, I'm aware of many spam comments showing up lately. Please don't respond to them. When I get home from work daily, I read all the new comments made while I was gone and delete at that time. I am aware of the situation and clear it up every day upon my return home. I do appreciate the concern.

Expect the expected. We're starting with a recap.

According to the announcer, we'll see the fallout from last night and the battle for HoH "begins." Hmm ... that leads me to believe we won't see the whole HoH comp go down. Oh yeah, and Derrick will be there.

Mark is feeling responsible for Elena getting evicted. Silly boy ... she used him whenever she wanted and he fell in love.

Alex wants Mark out next, then Matt and Raven to end the showmances.

Paul is pretty sure the "big move" Mark wanted to make had to do with evicting him -- Paul. Marks gets interrogated by Paul. (No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!)

The doorbell rings! It's Derrick. He has a duffle bag with him and says he's the next twist.

Just joking!

Derrick lists all the craziness (and cruelties) of the season so far. And, then we're into clips. He asks about their thoughts on Jess and Cody. Most gave thumbs down -- Josh said he thinks Cody loves her, not sure if she loves him. So, we get Jessica/Cody clips. Onto Ramses clips and his crush on Mark. Oh noes, it's not Mark ... it's MATT! Onto Alex and Jason's friendship clips.

Yep, it's a clip show!

Mark/Elena clips.  Matt's cereal habit clips. Kevin and Jason morning walking laps clips. Jessica's "Hymen trophy" bit clip. Pickle juice clips. A;ex scaring people.

Derrick tells them he's there to host the HoH and going down Memory Lane and remembering it is necessary for the comp.

We get the usual "I have to win this HoH" diary room bits ... and the show ends before the comp starts.

The live feeds won't return until after this clips show airs on the West Coast. I might not be posting an update until early morning.

Raven Walton - Kristen from Ohio, David, Nora

Hamster watchers ready?  Let's have recap!

Julie seems to never being wearing blue jeans again. We get a segment on the house imploding as Cody sits back a bit. Josh and Elena get into a kerfuffle. Then Alex goes at Elena.

To the living ... Julie tells them it's a double eviction night. First eviction.

Elena -- Another canned speech, but she screws it up.
Cody -- Love to family, Jessica, Alex played a dirty game, rats out that Matt and Raven are targeted.
Matt -- Happy safe kind of speech.

The votes to evict:
Paul - Cody
Mark - Cody
Kevin - Cody
Josh - Cody
Raven - Cody
Jason - Cody
Christmas - Cody

It's unanimous. Cody is out once again. He walks over the table to avoid passing close to the others and immediately heads out the door.

HoH Time -- Let it Slide, BB Eliminator style. Shuffleboard. Rounds of two facing off, closest to the end wins.

Matt and Josh random draw for first. Matt out.

Mark and Elena - Elena out.

Josh and Christmas - Josh out

Raven and Mark - Raven out

Christmas and Kevin - Kevin out

Mark and Jason - Mark out

Christmas and Paul - Paul out

Christmas and Jason - Christmas out.

JASON is the new HoH!

To the living room. Jason has to immediately nominate two. He goes for Mark and Elena, no surprise there. He tells them Cody told him not to trust him. Outside it will be a different story. Elena -- Alex is my girl, betrayed her (not in those words, but thought). Jason says he has no target.

Raven, Josh and Matt were random picks to participate in the PoV comp. Can You Solve It? Puzzles in a lane, three of them, first one back to buzzer wins. All puzzle pieces must be completely flat.

MARK wins the Power of Veto!

Veto meeting time -- Mark saves himself. Jason replaces Mark with Matt.

Live vote time:
Elena - Nothing to say, tells Mom to set up dog teeth cleaning, will spend my birthday in the jury.
Matt - Upbeat again.

The votes to evict:
Raven - Elena
Alex - Elena
Mark - Matt
Josh - Elena
Paul - Elena
Christmas - Elena
Kevin - Elena

Elena is gone. Yes! Six to one.

Hmm. Tomorrow Derrick will "surprise" the houseguests. A new temptation will be revealed during the week.

BB19: Live Feeds into Wednesday Evening - August 16

You too can be EXTREME

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Despotic Dictators:
  • I'm so ready for the double eviction.
  • I think the hamsters are, too.
  • Raven's been fussing for days that she never gets called to the Diary Room.
  • When they finally called her, she yelled, "They do love me! They do love me."
  • Um. No. I bet they don't.
  • They probably were just tired of hearing her whine about not being called.
  • It's getting to Mark that Christmas is so possessive of things like the food in the house, down to slop and slop cookies. He says she yells and gets too agitated about it.
  • Hmm. If I recall right from more than a few instances, Mark inhales food like he's breathing fresh air. He eats ten to twelve eggs every morning for breakfast. Once the house ran out of eggs until the end of the week because of his breakfasts.
  • I'm not saying Christmas should be yelling about him eating stuff.
  • I think I'm saying I'd hide food to make sure I had enough to eat if I lived with him and limited amounts of food.
  • Christmas is suspicious because Kevin gets called into the Diary Room so often.
  • Maybe it's because his take is more interesting than most?
  • Elena told Mark that she questions Josh's intelligence.
  • I think I question the intelligence, or at least common sense, of anyone who goes in the house for a season. Unless it's a kid like Ramses who was like a child in a candy shop, it's just not the kind of thing that attracts level-headed folks for the most part.
  • Instead, we watch and are happy that we're smart enough not to be in there!
  • Christmas is very worried that she's projecting poorly with all the arguments and her fans (pre-show from her books and exercise stuff) are not going to be happy.
  • Then stop it.
  • Alex also claims that she's not a fighting kind of person.
  • Gee, I wonder what this particular BB house would be like if they got in people with really quick tempers! It would probably be blocked off with crime scene tape by now.
  • Jason told Paul that Mark told him he wants to get Paul out.
  • Well, duh. I would bet Paul already had a clue about that.
  • Paul is getting tired of Mark, Elena, Matt, Raven and Kevin.
  • Yep, a hit list!
  • Surprisingly, he might put Raven at his least liked. Maybe if he wins HoH, he'll get her out!
  • Paul hinted to Matt that if Mark wins HoH, he (Paul) won't be the target -- he thinks Mark will target couples.
  • Isn't Mark part of a couple? I see where Paul wants to make Matt nervous, but that whole thing doesn't make sense to me.
  • Meanwhile, Josh is sure Mark will target him. After all, Mark has told Josh that he can't stand living with him.
  • Still lots of talk about Elena and Mark working with Cody.
  • No brouhahas today.
  • Nor any real kerfuffle.
  • I think they're in a holding pattern until after tomorrow night.

Listening to advice ... or not.

Don't make me yawn, Cody!

The bags are bigger than she is!

BB19: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 16

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging and constantly updating this entry -- refresh the page to get the latest! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join in on the fun!

PLEASE be respectful to your fellow commenters!

But first ... let's sit out this recap.

Elena doesn't feel totally safe, but knows Cody is a target. Cody knows it's a backdoor plan. Paul and Alex discuss taking out Elena if Cody wins veto and the noms remain the same. Alex thinks they need to target Matt and Reven. Alex wants to steamroll all the way to the end with Paul.

Kevin and Cody talk. Kevin misses his family. Kevin tells us if he cries on TV, he wouldn't be able to go back home. He looks as sad as you can without bursting into tears.

Veto player pick time. Alex first pulls Mark's chip. He tells us he would keep noms the same and keep Cody in the house. Alex pulls her own chip, then names Paul as her choice.

Kevin told Cody his biggest problem in the game was taking with the showmances. Cody tells Kevin about his daughter and told him to keep it confidential.

Their is an Outback set-up in the yard. They launch arrows at adventures on a map. It's the comp with the prizes for all and people can swap prizes from those who are out before them.

Paul out first and he won the veto. (But it surely will be taken away.) Mark is eliminated and wins a trip to Colorado for two. Jason out next, gets tandem skydiving punishment with another HG. Jason takes Paul's veto. Now Paul has the tanDAM punishment (as Josh would say). Matt out next, wins an Xreme-itard. He takes the veto from Jason.

Elena and Alex make a deal not to curse each other with a punishment. Alex is eliminated. She wins 5000 and is thrilled. Elena gets camp guide. take camping equipment and cook hot dogs. Cody hints to Elena that she should take the money from Alex and not the veto from Matt.

Alex is SO ticked. Paul chooses Christmas as his sky dive partner.

Cody tells Elena that he would have taken the money. He also told her that she's a target already. He's hoping that Elena might have made herself a bigger target and it might save his game. He doesn't tell Elena that part.

Alex invites everybody, including Cody, up to the HoH room ... except Alex. Cody tells us he doesn't like any of them.

Jason gets his Xtreme-itard. He has to scream that he's so extreme every time the BB voice talks about him being extreme. Paul and Christmas only have to go two days in their skydiving outfits, complete with helmets and goggles. For a week -- Jason is also a week -- Alex has to lug around heavy camping gear, set up a tent, cook hot dogs for all, then pack up again every time BB blows the bugle. She is SO angry at Elena.

Cody tries to improve his standing, offering to help Alex. The show is definitely being edited to give viewers the idea that Elena might be more of a target. Um. Sure.

Matt's Outback Steakhouse Reward time -- he can choose five guests for a dinner in the backyard. Mark, Elena, Paul and Alex are going with him. Paul gives his spot to Christmas.

Cody goes to talk to Jason and Alex. Cody reminds them that he saved the both of them and all but begs for them not to put him up. Alex tells us Cody is making sense to her.

Um. Yeah.

Matt knows that if he saves himself, he won't be replaced and the others will probably be mad because Cody won't go up.

Matt saves Jason with the veto. Alex puts Cody on the block. Backdoor Plan in motions.

BB19: Live Feeds into Tuesday Night - August 15

Another day, another outburst

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Loquacious Loons:
  • Gee, according to the scrolling banner on the live feeds page, I'll get some sleep Thursday night. It sounds like the feeds will be down from Thursday pre-show (normal) until maybe after whatever show they having on Friday.
  • Maybe the special Friday show is a Dr. Phil intervention show.
  • It was another day with kefuffles and tension bursting through on and off.
  • Cody has accepted that he's leaving, probably welcomes it to an extent at this point.
  • Oh. And, he misses Jessica.
  • In the morning, Cody was alone in the yard talking to the camera. He doesn't really want to talk to the others. He doesn't like them.
  • Kevin came out and talked to him. They both talked about going crazy.
  • Kevin also mentioned his toothache -- now, that was supposed to be taken care of before the 4th of July! He's hoping they'll do it tomorrow so he won't lose yard open time.
  • They sat around grousing about the other hamsters until other hamsters came out into the yard.
  • Alex is definitely holding a grudge about Elena passing off the hot dog cooking park ranger punishment on her.
  • A huge kerfuffle went down in the kitchen later about it.
  • But first ... there was a kerfuffle starting with Alex at Cody because she gave him her cereal to eat a bowl of it and he ate the whole box.
  • So, call to arms to everyone to light into Cody who didn't want to deal with them or talk to anyone.
  • He (rightfully at that time) got nasty back at them.
  • Then it turned into a Josh/Elena battle.
  • And the battling kept going on.
  • Now, you know me. I like a good brouhaha. But these are like reruns of shows you've seen rerun before.
  • It's the same arguments, different day.
  • Well, the cereal part was new.
  • I don't even want to write about all the side-fights.
  • It's ridiculous.
  • Paul likens Josh to a male Big Meech. Well, yeah.
  • Alex kept at Cody on and off, accusing him of lying about his kid, just using Jessica, etc.
  • So, now she just won't stop with either Elena or Cody because they wronged her.
  • The stress is even getting to usually unemotional Paul. He had to wipe away a few tears as he thought about how the season was going down.
  • That lasted about a minute until Jason fell almost on Alex and into the hammock.
  • I can see it now -- WhistleNut, Rodeo Cowboy, breaks one woman's foot in an act of tomfoolery and then squishes another in yet a second act of tomfoolery.
  • Jason tried to get Alex to cool her jets -- telling her that her outbursts will end up making her a target.
  • Interesting ... Paul told Josh that Kevin took the 25 grand in the beginning. Josh told him he already knew it -- Kevin told him.
  • Huh. Maybe Josh can keep a secret! I didn't know he knew.
  • Josh asked Paul not to tell anyone he knew about it.
  • Paul tells Josh that he's going to tell others (not that Josh knew) about Kevin taking it.
  • Josh was surprised, said Kevin is a jury vote.
  • He doesn't think it's wise to tell anyone.
  • Oh my. Josh can think!
  • Josh later told Christmas that he's worried all the animosity in the house is getting to Paul.
  • I say, "What about Jackie? How is she affected by this?"
  • So ... Paul tells Alex that Kevin has that money and that Josh knows.
  • Geez.
  • Paul lays it all on Josh! He told Alex he thought Kevin might have won the money and asked Josh, Josh confirmed it!
  • Oh, GEEZ!
  • He's setting up Kevin and then Josh for the jury!
  • We know that no one wants to be against Kevin at the end -- he'd surely win the money just because he's Kevin.
  • But I thought they'd want to sit with Josh, the Excitable Boy. Maybe Josh has been showing too many signs of being a game player -- winning comps. fitting in better and, obviously, in the case of Kevin's secret ... trustworthy.
  • When told about Kevin taking the money, Jason doesn't believe it. He's sure it was Ramses or Jillian.
  • Remember ... they ALL went for their buttons on that. Kevin just got to his first.
  • Now, they don't want Josh and Kevin out immediately. They have other targets first.
  • But, if they have their way the final four will be Alex, Paul, Jason and Christmas.
