BB21: First Live Eviction (?) Show Blog Party - July 3

Did you catch that question mark in my post title? It's there because the show promos are saying, "The first live eviction … or not." Hmm. Supposedly another big twist is to be announced tonight. It's not the Whacktivity as that has already been announced and seems to be Sunday night show fodder. Hmm. I just don't know.

We have Ovi and Kat on the block tonight going into the live eviction … or not.

Lifeguard SueGee has updated the blog pool and you can find it  on THIS POST LINKED HERE. We still don't know what's going on with David. It's likely he's sequestered somewhere.

I'll be live-blogging the major events of the show tonight as it airs here on the East Coast. As I'll be constantly updating this entry, you'll need to refresh this post to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Julie, looking svelte for the first time this season, promises us a live twist that will send our heads spinning. Then we're into the previously on …

Kat or Ovi will be leaving tonight … or will they?

Day 15. first time ever, evicted houseguest will not be going home. They'll continue living in the house. Um. Okay.

But first … we get to hear from Christie why Ovi and not Kat should go. Kat herself feels she has a better chance to stay than if against Cliff. Christie is telling both Ovi and Kat they're pawns. She isn't sure how things will work out.

Ovi is really upset. We know how much he wants to be in the house even if Christie doesn't. Jack would rather Kemi go home, but Ovi was on "our" hit list, too … so he can go home. (That's Jack speaking, not me.) Cliff tells Ovi that he's on his side. Ovi needs more votes and feels he needs to campaign. The Jacks lie to him. Kemi lies to him (she wants girl power). Then to Nicole. She tells him she's on her side but looks upset when saying it.

Kat is getting paranoid. They play clips of her saying people are conspiring against her. Many clips. The clips turn to Christie and Jack discussing Kat's paranoia. Into a teaser about a secret being revealed.

Cut to commercial but first … Julie asks who will be voted out? They'll be out of the game but not out of the house.

Julie tells us it's too late for Ovi's Nightmare Power to save him … or is it. He sees the votes are going to be iffy. Then … he proposes to Jack/Jackson because he thinks they have sway in the game and he tells them of the Power. He says how long it lasts and what it does. If they keep him safe this week, he will keep them safe next week if they go on the block.

Jack is all excited. Michie/Jackson not as much. They realize that it's very possible that they will both be nominated. Jack really wants to go for it. Even Jackson is leaning that way. It's definitely not an automatic no to the deal.

To the living room and live vote:
Ovi: Love all, not ready to leave, not done learning, loyalty, cookies, will represent all that you love in the house
Kat: You know where I stand, loyal to those who are loyal to me, will find out if the bitches were really conspiring against me.

The votes to evict:
Analyse - Ovi
Nick - Ovi
Tommy - Ovi
Jessica - Ovi
Holly - Ovi
Jack - Ovi
Michie - Ovi
Nicole - Ovi
Bella - Ovi
Cliff - Ovi
Sam - Ovi
Kemi - Ovi

SHEEP!!! Unanimous. And, into commercial. Julie tells us Camp Comeback will officially open next.

Unleash next big twist. Speech is normal. Goodbyes are normal. BUGLE! Camp ComeBaxk is NOW OPEN! Ovi has to put his mic back on. Julie tells them that the evicted will be living with them, no comps, no vote. An uncomfortable cabin upstairs. Must play social game. One of the first four evicted will get the chance to come back. Ovi can listen to the comp.

DAVID is BACK, too! He's been in sequester. He will be in camp with Ovi.

TOO MANY LOVE ISLAND COMMERCIALS. MAKE THEM STOP. NO, I WILL NOT BE WATCHING. HELP! HELP!

The HoH comp has the backyard all in red, white and blue. They're in booths. BB Fireworks Quiztacular. Watch fireworks answer red, white or blue. Seven questions.

1. Most fireworks were … blue. All right.
2. Last house-shape firework … white. Nick out.
3. Most of key shaped … red. Tommy, Holly, Kat out.
4. Second to last firework … blue. Analyse, Isabella, Kemi, Cliff and Sam out.
5. Most of the star fireworks … white. Nicole, Michie out.
6. Most emoji faced … red. Both Jess/Jack right
7. Fewest fireworks color … blue.

JACK is the new HOH.

Sigh. Not who I wanted at all.

To a talk with Ovi and David. Ovi is not bitter. I like the kid. David is curious to see how Jackson will handle his return.

BB21: Live Feeds into Wednesday Morning - July 3

Tommy's choreography sessions

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Waffles and Chicken(s):
  • Now, I appreciate Tommy's efforts to entertain. But all these group activities are wearing thin on me.
  • The only thing I really liked about the dance session was Cliff's attempts, mainly in the background.
  • Kat took to the dancing better than she's taking to the game of Big Brother.
  • They've been on indoor lockdown due to a comp being erected in the yar.
  • So, at least there wasn't hours of them sunning.
  • Instead, it was hours of waffling.
  • It really bugs me that all these folks who like Ovi and think he's more deserving to stay than Kat are SHEEP.
  • This voting with the house bit is beyond annoying.
  • Make waves, hamsters! Go for it!
  • The decision, mainly by the Jacks and Christie, keeps waffling back and forth but is overall more for Kat staying.
  • They're lying to Ovi about things.
  • Cliff tried to hint to him that it's probably going to be him out and that he (Cliff) will warn him if that's the case … and probably vote with the house decision.
  • Groan.
  • Bella had a long and somewhat condescending talk with Ovi. I think she didn't mean for it to be condescending, but I felt it was that way. She did talk from her heart.
  • In the talk, Ovi pretty much admitted he had little chance to stay -- he called it 95/100 odds he would go home.
  • But he still wanted to see if he could change that five percent chance.
  • She advised him that people were tired of him campaigning, but offered little else he could do.
  • Ovi himself thought of something he could do … and perhaps his only way to stay in the house.
  • What if … what if he bargained with the power he cannot use to save himself this week?
  • And, if he could … who to approach?
  • He thinks he has Cliff, Sam, Bella and Nicole (he doesn't really, they're sheep).
  • How can he get the most bang for the buck with his bargaining chip?
  • Why … the Jacks -- Jack and Jackson (Michie)
  • He approached them, told them about his Nightmare Power, how long it's good for and told them if they kept him in the house, since they're going to be likely targets for eviction, he'd use it to take them off the block.
  • He told them to keep it secret.
  • Of course, they ran and told Christie who got miffed because Ovi didn't tell her!
  • But, Ovi is right in thinking the Jacks will be more targeted than Christie.
  • While I personally prefer the Jacks get targeted, I can't blame Ovi for this move.
  • It's his only option to stay at this point.
  • Kat is not basket case this week, so depending on that is thrown out the window. Or, as I love to say, defenestrated.
  • And, the Jacks are the perfect solution. They're both manipulative and kind of scare many hamsters. If the Jacks push for Ovi to stay, it's quite likely he will.
  • While Christie may think it's too strong of a power to keep Ovi in the house, she might not really have a say. She won't be able to vote unless there's a tie.
  • Ovi, like Cliff, has been having long talks with the live feeders.
  • He told us his intent is to keep his promise -- they shook hands on the deal, after all.
  • But he also said he'd deal with that bridge when he comes to it.
  • Other than keeping him in the house and the promise to save the Jacks, it's basically a win-win for him.
  • If he stays and they put him on the block in original nominations, of course it could be used to save himself.
  • We'll have to see how all this unfolds in tonight's live eviction.
  • But I do think it's the best straw he can grasp to save his game at this point.

BB21: July 2nd Episode Blog Party

Tonight should be the Power of Veto comp as well as the Veto Meeting. Once again, live feed observers already know those results -- please no spoilers until they air on the show! Thank you!

I'll be live-blogging the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest update! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- feel free to join in on the fun!

Previously on and all …

Veto, Kaycee and cracks in the main alliance are promised.

We pick up the action after the nominations ceremony. Christie tells us Cliff is the pawn. Kat thinks she's the pawn and is a bit arrogant about it. Cliff, on the other hand, is worried that he needs to win the veto.

Bella and Kemi are talking showmances. They're clicking … probably more than the showmances.

The Eight are feeling so great about themselves. Christie is worried that Bella is getting too close to Kemi. Jack thinks Kemi should be backdoored.

Kat is flirting with Jackson. He tells us him Mom would kill him and he wants NO showmances. He then thinks Kat is hot. Jackson and Kat smooch in the dark.

Christie tells us her alliance wants Kemi out. But she thinks that Kat is more interested in Jackson than playing the game/working with the alliance.

Veto players pick time. Christie randomly draws Sam. Cliff picks Houseguest's Choice and goes for Jack. Kat gets Nicole.

The doorbell rings … and it's KAYCEE! One of Tommy's favorite players ever! It's time for the comp and she will be hosting.

In the backyard, there's messy food everywhere. Camp BB Mess Hall. It's a food fight. They must save Kaycee's favorite food as it's thrown at them. First its onions. Salad is coming down on them. Cliff is up first. Meatballs are next. Marinara sauce is being shot at them during meatballs. Round three -- slide down table and catch strawberries for ten points each.

Christie and Kat don't seem to be doing much better than Cliff. Jack isn't doing too great either. Nicole? Nope, not her comp for sure!

Christie 10
Jack 20
Cliff 0
Kat 0
Nicole 0
Sam 21

SAM wins the Power of Veto! Both Christie and Jack are concerned because Sam isn't a part of their alliance of eight.

Sam wants to take Cliff off. He knows whatever he does will affect his game. He thinks Cliff is more trustworthy and deserves to stay. Christie and Jack talk about taking out Kemi first, then Jessica and Ovi in that order. Christie isn't too thrilled that Jack is dictating what they'll do.

Mick trusts Bella and thinks she's awesome.

Christie thinks Kemi isn't bad for her own game and she likes her. Nick, after talking to Bella, decides to talk to Christie about not putting Kemi on the block.

Christie is in a quandary. She doesn't want to put up Kemi. Jack is being pretty demanding about putting Kemi on the block. That's not really working with her at all. She ends up going to her buddy Tommy and telling him her problems. She wishes Sam wouldn't use the veto. She likes Kemi a lot. She thinks Jack is playing everyone and using her to do the dirty work. Nicole actually joined them in the room so she's getting all this intel as Christie cries and calls Jack manipulative. She didn't come to play the Jack Show!

Christie talks to Sam. She doesn't want to put Kemi up and hopes he won't use the veto. She cries to him over it. He's confused why Kemi is the plan. Christie tells him Jack strong armed everyone in the group because he had some squabble with Kemi. She tells him Cliff will be safe. Sam tells us he already promised to use the veto on Cliff. He is interested in the group which he isn't a part in. He wants to find some sort of middle ground. Someone else … Ovi enters and tells them dinner is ready. Sam thinks Ovi? \

She tells us she could make a big move and put up Jack or put up Ovi who doesn't really seem to have an alliance and gets along with everybody or put up Kemi as per Jack's orders.

Veto meeting time! Sam saves Cliff. YAY! Applause from the hamsters. Christie puts Ovi up on the block acting like it's spur of the moment -- she wants to go for a guy and a girl. Ovi, I'm so sorry, I'm going to go for you right now. It's not anything personal.

Poor Ovi. He thought he was in an alliance with Christie. He can't use his Nightmare Power as it's only good after Nominations.

Jack is angry that Christie dared not go with the nominate Kemi plan.

Tomorrow is the live eviction!

BB21: Live Feeds into Tuesday Morning - July 2

Nicole sans glasses and smile

My apologies for not posting an update last night. It was a combination of things -- I was a bit under the weather and there wasn't much new to report! Anyway … catching up with the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Rascally Rodents:

  • Nothing has really changed on the eviction plan front.
  • It seems like Ovi is still set to be evicted by pretty much the entire house.
  • Of course. they're not telling him that … yet.
  • According to conversations, Cliff will let him know before the eviction.
  • Sigh.
  • They all claim to like Ovi and most will say that Kat is a hot mess in the game.
  • Most think they can trust Ovi more than Kat.
  • But all the sheep think they should "go with the house" and keep Kat for reasons like "she's a girl."
  • Cliff has brought up that if they vote out Ovi, the women could take power in the house because they'll outnumber the men.
  • While the women keep talking about a huge female alliance, the only allies I can see sticking together to some extent are the Black Widows -- Bella, Jessica, Nicole and Kemi. The others seem too abrasive and critical of each other to really last as an alliance.
  • Nickabella are having issues. Nick doesn't want anyone to think of them as a couple while Bella is taking it personal. I don't predict marriage down the road.
  • Their big group activity yesterday was a game of Hide and Seek.
  • So exciting. Tommy thought it would be fun for us to watch.
  • Um. Okay.
  • According to news articles, Jack was spoken to by production about his behavior.
  • Now, they don't allow them to talk about their Diary Room sessions, so we don't really know for sure.
  • He does seem a bit more subdued. But he still hates Kemi and I don't really know the entire background on that.
  • I still feel that neither Jack, nor Jackson (I should try to call him Michie) are nice people. But, in their defense, I've noticed it's all talk.
  • If Kemi wins HOH, her plans are to put both of them on the block.
  • Oh, I'd love to see both scramble and perhaps realize that they are not Kings of the Hill.
  • Heh.
  • In other news, Kemi had a bee in her hair and got her first bee sting of her life trying to brush it out.
  • Ovi continues to mix and mingle being friendly and helpful to all.
  • A shame that I think it's going to all be for naught.
  • At one point yesterday the crew in the kitchen -- Christie, Tommy, Jack, Jackson with Ovi and Cliff present but not talking -- discussed how they dodged a bullet with David going out within hours on their first day in the house. They (Christie) think he was a violent kind of guy and now the house is all nice people.
  • Oh, yeah. Keep thinking that.
  • Remember … there is a show tonight!

A bit more subdued? Hmm.

BB21: Live Feeds into Monday Morning - July 1

Cliff Notes

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Another Twist Flop:

  • Yep, like the unused power Tyler had last season, it looks like Ovi's power will go to the wayside.
  • Had they worded it to after Veto Meeting, he could use it to save himself.
  • But it was clear it would have to be used the night after the Nominations Ceremony … when he really had no cause to use it because he wasn't on the block.
  • The only way he'll be able to use it is if he manages to stay this week.
  • That's not looking likely.
  • It's a shame because he really loves the game and is, in a house when many don't seem to be, a genuinely nice person.
  • But he did make a stupid and rather fatal move when he discussed that alliance of eight not thinking that some of them might be in it.
  • Oh, well … if Ovi goes, it looks like there's going to be some sort of battle back. David's still on ice somewhere. I'm thinking when they get to four sitting out, we'll see one battle his/her way back.
  • In other news, Christie tried to warn Analyse to not get involved with Jack. No one really trusts him and Christie claims she has his number.
  • I'm not talking cell number either!
  • Christie told her that she (Analyse) is good for Jack's game, but he's no good for hers.
  • Yet Analyse continues to throw herself all over him.
  • Gag me now.
  • Yet another named alliance has formed -- The Black Widows -- Jessica, Nicole, Kemi and Bella.
  • Unfortunately for Ovi supporters, their plan is to keep Kat.
  • The general consensus of everyone in the house is that Kat is generally useless and therefore not a threat but perhaps a number for them.
  • When Jack, Jackson, Analyse and Christie were discussing who might have the power, they automatically dismissed Kat as a possible. They're pretty sure it's Ovi or Bella.
  • Not that it matters now. (Grr.)
  • Ovi is trying to plead his case to stay. But he's not in with the main crowd and, even some of the ones who would keep him feel they want to keep Kat either because she's a girl or sucks at the game.
  • Cliff told him that he feels he'll have to go with the house to preserve his own game but will warn him if he's going out in a landslide.
  • If it's to be a landslide, Cliff might throw him a vote. But he has to think of his own game. Ovi understands.
  • They now know that eviction this week is Wednesday, not Thursday.
  • They're expected the second Whacktivity Comp today.
  • I'm so late in posting this because I got hung up watching Cliff's morning talk to the live feeders -- something I've dubbed Cliff Notes.
  • I was originally a Cliff supporter because he was the only "older" guy in the house.
  • Now I'm just liking the dude. I admire his game thoughts. I admire his strategy. I love that he gets up earlier every morning and talks to us.
  • From the pre-show interviews, I thought he'd be a cowboy-hatted out there in his own world older guy telling stories.
  • Nope. Not at all.
  • First off, he doesn't wear the cowboy hat. He generally wears no hat. Sometimes he wears a ball cap.
  • Yesterday he decorated his ball cap in rainbow colors for the last day of Pride Month.
  • Now, who woulda thunk that from his interviews?
  • Not me!
  • He told us he would like to work with Ovi and is hoping he'll stay. However he doesn't think that's going to happen.
  • He's very observant of things going on., knows there are alliances but isn't quite sure who's aboard them.
  • He doesn't want to get in any sort of named alliance. He has an agreement with Nicole that neither will put up the other, but that's about it.
  • He basically wants to spend time with every single person and leave his options open until the numbers dwindle.
  • He also hopes he hasn't done or said anything really stupid in the game which might offend people. He knows how the Internet is. If he's offended anyone anyhow, he apologizes and says it was out of ignorance.
  • Nah, I've seen him do nothing offensive!
  • Great insight on the game.
  • In other news, Jack and Kemi will still target each other.
  • Plus, Jack is bad-mouthing Nick and getting the "solid four of eight" -- himself, Jack, Christie and Analyse -- to think that Nick is working against them.
  • In a way, Nick is.
  • Today is a new day ...

You don't trust him, but?!?!

Why is he reminding me of Charlie Sheen?

Kemi is with her, but not with her.

The quietest whisperer EVER. Grr.
