The houseguests were bored. They have coins. Don't ask me why they have coins. They've never been allowed to have any money during previous years. Big Brother hasn't hidden quarters about the house for prizes. But they have coins nonetheless. They also have wine and beer in small amounts. What to do? Create their own game which reminds Eric of Hungry Hippo, bounce the coins into a glass. They weren't too successful. Here's a video clip I posted at YouTube of them. As for the moment, all are in bed with Eric and Jessica talking in the dark.

They didnt create that game! Looks like they are playing Quarters, a game played in every frat house in America.

No, they play quarters every night. This had some odd twist to it which is why Eric likened it to Hungry Hippo.
Looked like quarters to me too Jackie. However, the way we play is:
you have the one glass in the middle with everyone's glass up tight around it (how many ever are playing). If someone's quarter goes in your glass, you drink your beer, if it goes in the middle glass, everyone drinks at the same time and who ever is last putting their empty glass down on the table then has to drink the middle glass. It takes no time to be feeling good but you run out of beer quicker too.
I'm more familiar with quarters than I ever wanted to be. They play quarters every night. Trust me, they did this differently and made it not quite the same. They even said so, but my mind turns off when they get into the games.
I agree...give them Scrabble or Blokus, a strategy boad game, or something like that...even Parcheesi for heaven's sake. Esp. on dull weekends when nothng is going on. Dani is smart altho I dislike her. She is setting Zach up for the double eviction she knows is coming...Jess and Jameka. Eric should feel bad...I think his shomance with Jess is over and she'll be pretty annoyed when she realized his "confidant" was playing for him own ends...more money in his own pocket.
looks like you don't "take turns" you grab/slap down on a coin that somebody else just tried with. the faster you are, the more coins/chances you get. in "hungry, hungry hippo" you use your hippo mouth to grab as many marbles as you can that are loose on the playing field.

Sorry Jackie...forgot you sit thru this 24/7... guess you could care less how others play. I must add however, that we have a lot more fun than what they appear to be having, and we only do it about once every 6 months.
