Big Brother 10: Live Feeds Into Wednesday Dawn

jackie's tv blog, Big Brother, BB!0
Yep, graphic artist Zoetawny wants Renny to keep on trucking. Unfortunately, I think we'll see her get the truck right out of there this week. Here's the latest from that Big Brother House of the Final Five:
  • Renny gave Jerry a haircut. Maybe now she'll remember that bald top!
  • They're bored. I'm bored.
  • Keesha told Renny and Memphis that Jerry was staring at her creepy-like.
  • Memphis said he never used to say "dude" and he has to stop saying it.
  • Yes, he does. The "dude" drove me crazy when they were feeding moths to the spider the other night. It's better than Michelle using the f word every other word, but ...!
  • Memphis told Dan that Keesha isn't his type for dating.
  • Jerry talked to himself in the HOH room. He did his Muttley laugh to himself, too.
  • He was kind of sad.
  • And boring.
  • BB gave them alcohol.
  • Dan and Memphis hung Keesha's bras on a lamp and giggled a lot. Sort of like a panty raid operation.
  • Dan and Memphis named the spider "Ted" and spent time feeding him again.
  • Dan (again) jumped out at Keesha to scare her. It worked.
  • Then Memphis scared her.
  • Renny told Keesha that if she (Keesha) hadn't been close to Memphis in the game, he would have been gone long ago.
  • All are asleep as I post this.

Hey... I'm first!

What's with the psych blogger that goes on & on about nothing in illiterate ramblings? If "you" are reading this (and you know who you are(I think?), please chill with the non sensical ramblings.

Petals said...

Where is everyone?
Anyway... this "panty raid" seems a long time in coming. I thought Memphis & Keesha would have started flirting weeks ago, and it never happened.

Petal, I'm with you on those commentors rambling on and on and never even saying anything. I kept reading thinking there could be a purpose or moral or hell, just anything that would make sense. I thought maybe I was having an anuryseum (sp) while reading.

Petals said...

G'morning Donna. No, you weren't having the aneurismm that blogger is! Have you noticed he/she changes their blogger ID every day?

Sydney said...

Renny right?

Hey petals!

Sydney said...

RIght about Memphis that is....

Petals said...

Syd! Renny right about Memphis not being trustworthy? Maybe. But in this game, trust isn't part of the equation to win.

Sydney said...

Right that if he hadn't befriended Keesha he would be gone... do y'all think that is right?

Petals said...

I think Memphis made pals with the right people from the get-go. He's been in the game this long without getting his hands dirty at all. Smart play.

Donna in AL said...

I think you are right Sydney...Renny was going to put him up until Keesha wanted her to keep him.

RBennie said...

Good morning all. Yes, Sydney I agree that Memphis would be gone if not for his friendship with Keesha. So I guess Renny can thank Keesha for her going home. As I predicted the BB house is now one extremely boring place. It's nice to have the troublemakers gone until you realize that without them the show is a snoozefest, LOL. I watched bits and pieces last night, but confess that I watched more of the new 90210 than BB.

ORKMommy said...

I've been sayin' all along that Memphis is a good player. He's flying under the radar when needed but making power plays too. Personally, I think he's one of the smartest players this game has seen and I'm pullin' for him to win!

And I sooooo didn't want to like him in the beginning!

Donna in AL said...

You're prolly right Petals... I am just sore cause he didn't include Renny in any of his plans. I don't think any of them could win with her in F2 though. I was just hoping she could win it.

RBennie said...

I also was creeped out with those strange comments that were going on. I thought it would be better to just ignore it.

Petals said...

Ork - I liked Memphis, but wasn't sure what to make of him, and I still don't know. For being a bartender, er "mixologist", he has kept his personality under wraps until very recently.
'Tween Dan & Memphis, who'd win the jury votes?

RBennie said...

That's a tough call Petals. I think it could go either way between Dan and Memphis. I think Dan's best chance to win is to go against Memphis though. I don't think he can beat Keesha, Renny or probably even Jerry.

Petals said...

But doesn't the jury usually recognize good gamesmanship over floatership?

RBennie said...

I find that the jury almost always votes very personally and will vote for the one that screwed them over the least. In this case Dan and Memphis have both made some enemies.

TerryinCA said...

petals I adore the word "floatership" and congrats for being first.
Zoetawny I squealed with delight over that graphic and I think Renny would love a copy...she's quite the lady...and if I ever get to NO I want to party with her. That one shot they show of her in a bright pink wig on the promo's "Thats what Im talkin about" cracks me up each time.

I think everyone's take on Memphis is correct..he has attached himself wisely, gone under the radar...probably after winning the car he saw that attention wasnt helping him...So if he wins only the $50K and the car he didnt do bad for the summer.
I just like Dan and want him to win but who knows....I think the worse choice for me was Alison and Jun, no maybe Maggie, no, Mike Booger, hey lots of creepy people have won havent they?

But then, I still miss Kaysar and Janelle

RBennie said...

You got that right Terry. A lot of creepy people have won, LOL. For me personally, I think Maggie's win bugged me the most. The most pathetic win though goes to Jun. Do you remember how not even 1 person from the jury congratulated her? It was embarrassing to watch. Thinking back, I guess the only BB win I was truly happy about was Dr. Will.

ORKMommy said...

I agree that the jury tends to either vote personally or for game play, but floating is game play. As I stated before, Memphis has floated along but can put the Superman cape on and make some powerful plays and win when he needs to. I think that sitting back and letting others make waves is a very smart strategy!

Laurie said...

Not much new to add to this morning's post except to agree with what's been said. How boring is that?

Re how the jury would vote. I keep thinking that the majority of jurors so far are the ones who played the game personally. april would complain that Memphis already won the car (and by now it's a million dollar car). She and Michelle would complain that Keesha got Jessme out, Ollie has a personal vendetta against Dan ... and so it goes. We have delusional jurors and who knows what tales they have spun whilst being in sequester together!

Erika said...

I forgot 90210 started are they going to replay the episode, please let me know... Bye bye renny!

RBennie said...

Isn't it kind of funny that the most impartial juror will probably be Libra? I think she definitely liked Dan better than Memphis, but then again, he voted her out along with everyone else when there was a chance to flip the script and vote out Keesha.

Petals said...

Laurie ~
See my previous post & questions to you re: what TX your dentist(s) have recommended. :)

ORKMommy said...

Laurie - I don't know that Ollie has a vendetta against Dan for his betrayal. I read an interview he did and he admitted that what he did to Brian in week 1 was no different than what Dan did. His only problem with Dan was that he swore on his girlfriend, mother and church. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Ollie will vote for game play and not make it personal.

RBennie said...

I'm sure they will repeat the premiere episode of 90210, but I don't know when. Check your listings. I thought it was fun and there are a lot of familiar faces. The Peach Pit is still there!

Good Morning!

Petals you were up late and back up early!! I hate those nights that I can't sleep, knowing I have a full day ahead of me.

As for BB: I agree about Memphis--Keesha saved his butt with Renny! If he gets to choose who will go to F2 with him friendship will be gone.

When I watched the show I took a careful look at Dan's "shorts"....didn't see anything abnormal! LOL

petals--gamesmanship vs. floatership....I think it's 50/50. The problem I see is that these people have been together for so long 24/7 that there are plenty of times to get hurt feelings. And depending on who is in the JH those fires are fueled by others.

As much as I don't like Jerry I do find myself feeling sorry for him. He has made himself an outcast in the house and it's not because of age--well, maybe. He is just set in his ways and spends too much time trying to impart "wisdom" on the young ones! Young ones don't want to hear from us old folks!!

Time to get ready for the day....school starts for my grandkids. I'm going up to help the teachers handle tears and mother's who just won't leave!

Laurie said...

orkmommy, I didn't know that Ollie had come to that realization. In that case, you are right ... he could vote on game play and not go all personal on us.

Petals, I saw my own dentist and a specialist dentist yesterday. The consensus is that it's too soon to tell whether or not I'll be able to keep my natural teeth. We may not know about that for a month or so. Meanwhile, I see my dentist again today to remove the broken bridge, move the tooth next to it back it belongs, and prepare temporary caps for the broken teeth. Looks like I will be there most of the day!

RBennie said...

I feel for ya Laurie. That is just about my worst nightmare - an entire day at the dentist's office! Too bad they don't give lollipops anymore.

RBennie said...

I just got all caught up on posts and read about Sharon's health concerns. I'm glad you were finally diagnosed and taken care of Sharon and its good to hear from you again. I'm sorry you had to go through such a painful time. Shout out to MEB, how are things going with you?

Petals said...

Laurie - Eat alot before the appt, you may not feel like it later, and you'll prolly be numb for a few hours afterward. I hope you won't need root canals and/or implants.

Laurie said...

petals, I just sent you an email with more detail. I figured I would eat a nice big bowl of oatmeal before I go.
rbennie, It's my worst nightmare, too. I'm taking my iPod so I can listen to a musical while I'm there. I'll pretend I'm in the theater instead of in the dentist chair!
Everyone, thanks for your support and concern. Unless you've been in this spot of needing support, you have no idea how comforting it is to know people all over the place are thinking good thoughts about you. It's pretty darn special.

ORKMommy said...

Laurie - my mouth hurts for you! I absolutely HATE the dentist!!! My two biggest fears are 1) exactly what happened to you & 2) breaking my knee cap. Don't ask me why, but those two things just FREAK ME OUT!!!

We'll be thinkin' boutcha chickie!

Laurie said...

thanks orkmommy. I should show you the picture of my knee! No breaks, just colorful bruises on my chubby knee. I'll check in when I return this afternoon. Just no making fun of my drooling mouth!

Petals, I'm glad you mentioned that the rambling commenter changes blogger IDs everyday. I was starting to wonder if several ramblers were finding the blog all of a sudden.

My thanks to ginnyjulie for the reminder about supporting Jackie's blog. I've been meaning to send a contribution, but hadn't carried through until your reminder spurred me into action. And Jackie, thanks so much for this blog. I'm not sure I'd even watch BB without it.

Laurie, I'm sending lots of good thoughts your way. Just the thought of spending hours in a dentist's chair makes me cringe.

If nothing else, I've learned this season that I shouldn't form opinions about people too quickly. When the houseguests' bios were first posted, I thought I'd like Libra, Steven, Ollie and Jerry best. And Dan, Memphis, Keesha and Renny were among those I thought I'd dislike. (I was right about Michelle and Jessie, though.)

Donna in AL said...

I don't know if anyone else caught BBAD the other night when Dan and Keesha where in the BY. Dan was saying they were trying to get him to say something about women in his bio. One of them said they only had 2 lines and a couple of the others said they had about 5 lines. They could not remember what any of them were now. If BB tells them what to say in the bios, it's no wonder they have turned out to be not what we thought. Of course, the BB voice told them to stop talking about production.

Hello to everyone here! I am a constant lurker. Been here since BB6... I'm from Trinidad in the Caribbean, and first off let me say congrats to Jackie on a job consistently well done. You have built a respectful and lively blog community here in the comments, and I enjoy reading and catching up.

With that said (and forgive me if anyone commented on it before), but what struck me as even more glaring than Renny taking so long to guess Jerry, was Dan guessing Libra on the very first Ugly Baby!!! I mean the eyes were very clearly BLUE!!! Even if it might not have been obvious that it was April (which I think it was), I am still scratching my head on his decision to guess Libra!

Did anyone else notice that??

Jackie, This is by far your best opening. heehee. Great graphic Zoe!

I have an idea who that commenter is, btw. Think about it.

Yes Sydney, some of that rambling did seem very familiar.

I agree Nancy...hope you are better soon. I have had bronkitis for 3 weeks now and some sort of stomach virus for 2 weeks. My boss sent me home yesterday and all I did was sleep. I've just been taking my laptop to the potty with me tonight!
