Big Brother 10: Live Feeds Monday Into Tuesday Dawn

The excitement on Dan's face in this screen cap I took last night says it all. Too long for two people to be in the house with nothing to do. Here's the rundown from inside the Big Brother House of Non-Events:
  • Ted was the most exciting houseguest. I think he'll be looking for a SAG contract and hear he's hired a fashion designer for his wrap party wardrobe.
  • Dan and Memphis slept until well past 11:00 AM their time yesterday.
  • Dan still didn't get up until BB woke him up at noon.
  • Dan is positive McCain is leading in the polls.
  • They played badminton without a net, then Dan napped some more.
  • Memphis told Dan he thinks it's his fault that Jerry offered him the shirts he didn't want. (Jerry offered him his not cut-off sleeve shirts when he was packing.)
  • Dan worried if anything he did might result in getting fired from his job at St. Mary's.
  • Memphis was upset that there was no Craig Ferguson appearance this week.
  • BB gave them a Japanese dinner.
  • They played cards and called it an Olympic event.
  • They played beer pong.
  • Dan put a box of Tampax on Memphis' bed. Oh, the hijinks!
  • They're asleep as I post this.

First! Hope you had a great birthday, Jax! I am excited and sad about tonight - excited for Dan, sad that its over! whaaahhh!!

Anonymous said...

It was nice of NYC to sort of throw you a birthday party in Little Italy, haha.

Poor Ted once d/m leave...he will be history. Unless BB lets him alone.

Happy Day After Your Birthday Jackie!

Is Dan a McCain supporter? Wonder what he'll say when he finds out Palin is his running mate...

Anonymous said...

Jackie-I so agree with you that the time spent in the house in the end is way to long. Of course, it sounds like football gets in the way. Maybe they should do a Friday or Saturday night wrap and they can avoid the problem all together. I guess production did not ask me!

I really wish Ted was on the ballot. I would rather see him walk any future red carpets than any of the HGS.

So, it almost time to start liking another bunch of hoodlums, only to start disliking them all over again. It happens every year for me. LOL!

I am glad you enjoyed your day Jackie, but sorry to hear about needing to ice your knee.

I think the winner tonight will be Dan. He will throw Memphis at least out in front of the bus, if he does not throw him under it. The funny thing about Dan doing it is, he does it to the person right in front of them, not behind their back.

What is the betting lines of Dan being at confession right away tomorrow? Does anyone have connections to anyone at Las Vegas odds? LOL!

Have a great day everyone!

Petals said...

Dan will FREAK about Palin. I know I did... We Republicans are just shaking our heads, scared...

Who the eff is Ted?

Anonymous said...

Ted is the spider Dan & Memphis feed.

They could wrap the show on Sunday night instead of giving us that lame recap show. If they really need a filler for the Tuesday show, do the recap then. They could even do reactions of the HG's on the winner. They'd fill the Tuesday slot and keep the viewers happier!

RBennie said...

Good morning all! Another exciting day in BB land I see. I don't see there being much excitement in the finale tonight either. The jury questions should be interesting, but other than that I think that Dan will win by the skin of his teeth, 4-3. Unless Michelle surprises me and votes for Memphis instead.

So what do you think? Did Allison Grodner (did I spell that right?) redeem herself with this season? Was it good she got to keep her job? I only watched the last few shows, so I don't know how the season as a whole went. I laughed through the clip show, since it was all new to me. I knew the backstory on the Ollie April hookup and about Jerry's not ready for primetime behavior because your comments. Was it a good season? Was there anything that should be changed?

HoosierGirl said...

Hi Jackie, Happy post birthday! I've read all the blogs this season and have only gotten around to making a comment today! I have to say, your comment about Ted's wardrobe for the "wrap" party cracked me up this morning. I can't help but wonder if he'll enlist the help of Debra to "spin" up a "silk" robe to wrap him in for the event! LOL! GO DAN!!!

Thanks for all the great reports this season. Bring on Survivor!!!

Petals said...

Sue -
I think the show was redeemed, yes. It seemed like the "old" show, with diverse guests from different age groups and walks of life.
I loved this season. It didn't need any "twists" or "unexpecteds".

RBennie said...

Sue - I would rate this season as just okay for me. No where near any of the best seasons, but definitely not the worst. I guess it was just okay for me because I never did find anyone I really liked enough to root for. I started to like Renny towards the end, but then she was gone. While I give Dan kudos on his gameplay, he just never endeared himself to me. Jerry was a total disappointment and the rest fall into either the total disgust pile or total indifference pile. The most fun I had was here on this blog.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Sue and Petals, this season was great. It was funny and the group talked and had fun at times and explosions! I also agree they didn't need any unexpected twists. Go Dan!!

Happy belated birthday Jackie. Hope you enjoyed your day. I'm kinda sad the finale is upon us. I personally don't care who wins, but I have a feeling it will easily be Dan. I wish showtime aired the wrap party, that would be fun to watch. Seeing all of the houseguests one more time. I'm still hoping Renny wins the $25K. Now I'll have to find something else to lull me to sleep instead of Showtime until next summer LOL

Anonymous said...

I am glad that it is over because we can end the boredom of just Dan and Memphis to watch. I am sad it is over because it means the end of my guilty pleasure of the summer. I will be transfixed to the t.v tonight!!!

meb said...

I know what rbennie means, there wasn't really one person to get into and hang on...BUT... I loved this season. Except for the stupid screaming sessions (and sex scenes), there was plenty to keep you interested.

And because Dan was the only one who really played the game, I am rooting for him to win.

jb...I couldn't figure out who Ted was either at first. Guess I missed the naming of the final hg. I hate spiders, so it would be perfect (for me) if BB cleaned up for the wrap party and swept him off his web. Oh come-on...I didn't say kill him...Besides, he's getting too fat.

Laurie said...

I enjoyed this season a lot, but I've only been watching a short time. I really enjoyed the friendships and fun times that the larger alliance had. I didn't always like some of the things Dan did, but I enjoyed his boyish personality and his enthusiasm for the game. The show improved when April left, imho.

Anonymous said...

Thanks ORKMommy & meb...

I sorta knew 'bout the spider and missed the naming.

This season was definitely an improvement. They need to mix it up (again) with some folks who aren't all the same age and maturity level!

Petals said...

FYI ~
For any bloggers who don't watch Survivor, please stick around here! As always, Jackie is amazing with her show updates and the room is always hopping on show nights.

Laurie said...

jb, I agree. Mix it up with a more diverse age group, not two token people. If there are folks in their late 30s, 40s and 50s who apply for BB11, I hope they bring some of them in. Let's get some life experience into the game!

Anonymous said...

Rbennie - You said "Unless Michelle surprises me and votes for Memphis instead."

I don't think Michelle is the swing vote, I think it's Renny. Dan said he's not sure she'll vote for him...

Terry is a Texan! said...

Jackie you crack me up with Ted getting a SAG card...love it...and he could get ratings! The TED Chronicles....
Happy Tuesday and yes, Im sad its over tonight. What reason do I have to jump up and run to my computer in the morning?
I hope Dan wins, and I think he might like Sarah Palin petals...you never know....
I just know when I am without a computer or TV over a long weekend I am on news-starvation...I cant imagine two whole months....
I really liked something about every houseguest except April...right off the bat with the boob thing and the Colonel...she went down as "Bimbo" in my book.
Even without a "college education" Keesha was more real and sweet and Im glad she made it as long as she did...
see you guys on the bean bags tonight....Laurie did you order the goodies?

Petals said...

{Laurie}
How're you this week?

RBennie said...

Orkmommy - now that really would be a surprise to me if Renny voted Memphis instead of Dan. I figured she'd be pissed at both of them for Keesha's eviction, but seeing how she never liked or trusted Memphis at all, I figured she was a sure vote for Dan.

Laurie said...

Hi Petals, I'm doing well. I see the dds again today to take a look at my temporary teeth. Now that my gums aren't so swollen they don't fit quite right. We start on the "final" road in a few weeks. Good news, no real pain anymore.

Petals said...

Laurie - will email re: teeth :)
You watch Survivor, right?

lynn1 said...

I have been missing posts from Donna in Al. She hasn't posted in a week.
Donna, hope you are Ok. Maybe doing something fun, on a trip or just busy.

Unknown said...

I thought Survivor starts this Thursday but my Dish schedule does not show it. Any info?

Anonymous said...

They moved the Survivor premiere to next week...

Rbennie - I was sure Renny was a vote for Dan but apparently something was said during the jury questions to make him think she wouldn't vote for him.

joy n said...

Survivor's start was delayed for a week but we get two episodes on the 25th!

RBennie said...

I'm really looking forward to Survivor, but it will be really hard to beat last season! The previous Africa season was not one of my favs.

Laurie said...

Petals, I've never seen Survivor ... maybe this is the season I should start? TerryinCa would be thrilled since she's been working on me for years to watch the show!

RBennie said...

Laurie - I'm shocked! You've never seen Survivor? Girl you gotta watch it with us. I mean, what else are you gonna do on Thursday nights anyway? LOL.

Michelle said...

Laurie, I can't believe you have never watched Survivor. While I admit to not following all of the seasons, I do tend to watch most of them. They are good! I think you should give it a chance, you may just like it a lot.

Petals said...

okay, Laurie - the vote is unanimous: You are voted ONTO the island of Survivor. hehe
Really, you'd love it. There's more action than the BB house, and blogging always makes the shows more interesting. Please stay for Survivor!

Petals said...

BTW, my mom thinks she won't like Survivor, but I am gonna get her hooked, just like I did w/BB. heheehehee...
I feel like a drug dealer, pushing this addiction on others.

Laurie said...

Oh the peer pressure. You know you would be making Terry a very happy lady if you all talked me into watching the show. The jury is deliberating right now!

Sally said...

Did anyone catch Craig Ferguson last night? I heard the intro of the show and it said that Julie Chen was one of the guests. I throught to myself, "I should stay awake for that," but promptly fell asleep. Did anyone see it?

Zoetawny said...

Happy BB finale day!

Jackie...

I hope you had a great time at the feast. Sorry your knee is paying for all the fun. Joyn had a good suggestion regarding a cane that collapses.

ITA about it being much too long to be in the house at this point. I'm sure it must be because of CBS scheduling.

I'm looking forward to tonight's show. Dan was the man this season and I hope the jurors aren't too emotional to vote Dan for the win. I'm sure Keesha or Renny will win the $25K and I'm happy with that. All in all, it was a much better season then BB9.

Thank you, Jackie, for all your hard work even though you were recovering from major surgery. I hope you get a little break before TAR and Survivor start.

JACKIE ROCKS!

Anonymous said...

Thanks for the responses about this BB season. I agree that the older hgs have proven themselves in the last few seasons by staying until near the end and that should mean more are allowed on.

Laurie, you should watch Survivor, it is BB without the boredom. But, the last one in Africa is the season I stopped watching it, so I hope there is no cow blood drinking contests this season or I will have to turn away again.

Off Topic, but did anyone watch The View today (Tuesday)? In the middle of a yellfest, my screen went to Martha Stewart having a drink. So funny! Did anyone see that?

meb said...

OK Laurie...add me to the mix of YOU MUST WATCH SURVIVOR! Last season was the best. You'll enjoy it and we'll have fun hving you here!

rbennie...I too think Renny is a given for Dan's vote. Regardless of what happened in the questioning, I can't imagine her voting for Memphis. She wanted him out of the house from the get-go and was constantly warning Keisha about him.

Oh Well, tonight will tell won't it!

Found this site by accident and love it. Thanks a bunch for all the neat comments and thoughts regarding BB10. Hopefully Dan will win as he has played the best game; wishing him all the best. He may be surprised that Palin is McCain's VP choice and hopefully he will pleased as she is a breath of fresh air and a plus to the ticket. Thanks again for letting me visit this site.

Dropping off my snacks before I head out. I WISH I were in Maui with Dla (don't we all, lol) but alas, I'm stuck here on the continent and not able to watch BB live tonight. :(

I have the crock-pot full of meatballs and expect to find at least one left when I get back here later. No Breyer's for you all this week. :) I'm sure my Stoly, pineapple juice and grenadine will be safe, LOL!!! If not, I'll just sip on the leftovers. No tequilla please... I still have nightmares over the worm I swallowed once. Ewww!

To the blogger who takes over the "mixologist" duties tonight, guard my bottle. :)

Have a great time and I'll catch the party before the show is over at 10:00... hopefully! Have fun and let the party begin!!!!!!!!!!

Peace and GO DAN and RENNY!

I snuck away and found a computer in the lobby of my hotel!!!

HB yesterday Jackie--hope it was a great one!

Laurie--YOU MUST WATCH SURVIVOR!!! How will we gossip w/o you in the know? Hope things get better with your teeth.

joy n--YOUR BACK!!!! I missed you!
Hope things are better in your personal life. I will e-mail you when I get home from vacation.

I wish I was in Maui with dla, too. Instead I am in Yellowstone with Yogi Bear! The weather's beautiful, I saw Old Faithful today, and have spent many hours in my car.

TV reception is questionable so I'm not sure how much I will see tonight :(
I will try to come and check in later......

Enjoy it everyone......GO DAN!!!

Woohoo ~ Finally ~~~~~

BB Finale ~
I'm ready for a name change ~ Whewwwwwwwww ~

Off subject;
~ Tomorrow ( Wed. SEPT 17 * ) is A special birthday & Anniversery.

Of course Sept 15 is special, Along with Oct 9 & 10 ~ Plus Entire month of May..
Dang it everyday is special!

I'm thankful for all of you in Jackie's blog;
I can think beyond ~ May - August - * Sept - Oct *

Isn't it ironic;
whether various months brings you happy memories or not, it's a blessing I hadn't forgotten close relatives Birthday's, Anniversaries, who mean the world to me.
Without having to repeat myself ( BB's HG's constantly repeated themselves back on Aug 15 Haha )
I realize why I'd chosen to block Month of February.
Regardless Feb is actually my most painful month, resulting in a negativists impact on my part.

I'll give you all an update on how tomorrow goes, what else could go wrong?? Haha - I'm keeping a positive outlook,
heyyy Dan I like Sarah Palin.

Thanks ~ Jackie & Sydney ~ YA'LL Rock! (( Jackie's Blog Rocks ))

Nana,

My family vacationed 13 states back in August 1998, weather was beautiful, although in 98 there was fires in Yellowstone, leaving area smokey during our visit.
We spent a week with my Aunt Ethel in Nebraska.

Sydney said...

NANA!!!! SO glad you checked in.

And dla, if you are taking a peek, git yer arse back out there in the sun or the moonlight for me! However, we have a well stocked bar thanks to you. After all this hurricane stuff, I think I NEED to join you guys in a bit of tee-totaling. (Don't worry y'all I'm a happy drunk).

I'm hoping we hear from Lars and Tom's to see how they are faring.

Great question Sue -- I hate to admit it, because I'd worked myself up quite abit about AG's continued employment as producer of this show in the last 2-3 seasons, but yes, this was a completely revived BB. A mix of people, ages, backgrounds, folks who had some drama but weren't ALL drama, the majority of people who were actually PLAYING THE GAME, and two people in the end who arguable worked in their ways to get there, so someone finally will win who you could say deserve it. And a showmance.

Best of all, Julie's wardrobe was the best that I can remember (I can't remember how she dressed in the earliest seasons though). I'm visually oriented and not once this year was I forced to scream: "MY EYES, MY EYES!"

JoyN -- I guess I missed your comment, as I've been a little MIA the last few days but so glad to see that you posted. You are missed!

Laurie, you retain your humor so well, it's easy to forget you're undergoing so much.

Sharon -- I hope you'll be joining us tonight. How are you feeling?

Happy Birthday Jackie
I hope the leg is better today.
Well it is the last Hurrah tonight, oh I sound like CKA
Hers hoping Dan wins the big money, and Renny or keesha wins the 25,000.
If these people are honest with themselves, ie Ollie and CKA they would give their vote to Dan
I hope Renny was just yanking Dan's chain about her vote, that would just be horrible.
She does dance to a different beat so anything with her is possible.
She just may reward the snake!

thanks jackie for another great season

Jackie, I don't know if this means anything, but I went to that myspace site, and like everyone else, couldn't leave a message; but at the bottom of the page I hit the report abuse button, just to see what would come up. The new page said, "You are emailing customer service, not TOM." There's a picture there of Tom. Maybe it's a generic pic, I don't know, but maybe you could check it out. I didn't give any required info or leave a complaint, but maybe you could. Then again, you probably already have.

Happy Birthday dear Jackie, Happy Birthday to you!
It really is too much with just two people there. At least this year it doesn't sound like they are ripping everyone apart like Allison and Jun or (gag) the Nerd herd F2.
I didn't get to posting like usual this season for many-a-reason, but as usual, I enjoyed being updated and reading posters comments.
Well done!

Hi Guyz... will be watching a taped finale tonight as I am going out. (thank Goddess for my trusty old-school VCR)

I have a great "Survivor" memory: Back when it all started, I was riding a train and I happened to look over at someone's newspaper: there was an article about this new show that would stick a bunch of real people on an island and watch what happened. I thought: "Hmmmm, that sounds fascinating, I must watch it!"

The beginning of my own RE:Ality TV addiction!

Guess I'll check the happenings over here, Jackie, I've never done it for Survivor.

I feel like the kid on Christmas morning waiting for everybody to wake up but then again I don't want it to be over.

I had such a good time with all of you this season. I'm thinking I'll have to check out this Survivor thing - never seen even one snippet!

Hi all! I won't be able to join you tonight. I'm going to a PTA meeting!! I know this is silly, but I'm really excited about it.

I was really involved with my daughter's school when she was in elementary school, and LOVED IT!! Now I'm going to help out with my grandson's. It's the first meeting for his kindergarten year.

FUN STUFF!!

Tho I'll miss BB and the blog, I'll catch up later. What in the world did I ever do without Tivo and DVR??

Off topic, Laura in Tacoma, I saw your note about maybe being in my area soon. Let me know when. I'd love to get together! We could have a good time! Just as Laurie!! :)

Jackie S. said...

That message not going to Tom is because Tom isn't the one dealing with issues. It's nothing to do with anyone's complaint. Like I said, tonight is the finale. If the page is still around next season, I'll create a bogus MySpace (the one I have is JackiesTVBlog but it's inactive -- I started but didn't do anything with it because I don't like MySpace) and I'll go in undercover to nail the thief. Thank you anyway.

Go Keesha!

Hurray for Joyn being here on finale night! Good to hear from our own Tom`s, also!

The "Tom" referred to on the complaint page of MySpace is Tom Anderson, the gazillionaire computer genius who is founder and President. He also shows up as everyone's first "friend" when you create a MySpace page. That picture isn't the perp of the Blog snatchings! (just in case there was any confusion).

Alrighty then, I am soooo ready to wrap this thing up! I'm hoping for:

*funny edits of JessMe
*a Snaperil and Ollie expose
*some wacked-out theories from the Delusional alliance (and a reveal that they were actually right about America's Player)

And, most of all, a montage of D/R/K/M fun moments. I like to think they had a genuinely good time together this season and can salvage some friendships after the show.

And I'm okay with either Dan or Memphis for the win. Both played a good game.

I brought hors d'oeuvres! Who wants bacon-wrapped shrimp or some stuffed mushrooms?

Good to see you all, and let's get the party started!!!
