'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Through the Overnight Into Wed. 8/08

I didn't post a report late last night.

Why?

Because there really wasn't all that much to report! It was small talk, Donatos feeling all alone, Eric being devious, Zach and Jen being absent.

Ah, but in the past few hours there have been many changes.

Right now it looks like the tides have changed once again. Here's what's gone down recently in that Big Brother House of "There is no sides" (credit: Daniele Donato):
  • After having a tiff with Dustin last night when she tried to tell him if Eric goes this week she'll go the next, Amber finally got through to him.
  • Even Jameka thinks a good way for Dustin to take the Donato spotlight off of him as a target is to send Eric home.
  • Earlier, Jessica was told by Dustin that Jen has been telling Amber things about Eric.
  • Jen told Daniele and Evel that Zach is uneasy because neither Eric or Kail have even tried to talk to him about the vote. (He must feel he doesn't have any friends even amongst his enemies.)
  • Evel Dick kept working on Amber, telling her a mix of lies, half-truths and some truths. He works her into a tizzy, an anti-Eric tizzy.
  • Both Daniele and Dick keep at her, tag-teaming her as they bring her over to their Dark Side.
  • Amber is an easy subject, but will Dustin be as easy?
  • Amber went to Dustin ... on and on ... there is a bit of video below for you.
  • Now Dustin is all peachy-keen with the Donatos once again.
  • Eric is now the target with Jameka and Jessica the only two possible votes for him.
  • As a watcher, I can only shake my head in wonder at how easily these houseguests are manipulated.
  • Dustin, Amber, Daniele, and Evel Dick are now sitting around laughing about Zach and talking who they want to target next -- Zach or Jen.
Here's the video --

'Big Brother 8' - 8/07 Show Live-Blogged from the East Coast

Jackie's TV Blog, BB8, Big Brother 8

The show has started here on the East Coast. As it airs, this post will be updated every few minutes. Please forgive any typos or misspellings as I'm looking at my TV and not either my monitor or keyboard! ;-)

They're recapping th nominations. Dick is egging on Jen again, no surprise. Jessica warned Eric that if the POV is used, he'll go on the block. Jessica spills all she knows to the group. The LNC minus Dick and Daniele suggest Jessica plays along with Daniele and Dick.

Eric confides in Jameka about it (she wasn't in the room before). Amber and Jameka are in the hammock discussing Eric's possible situation. "We have the votes period," says Jameka.

Zach is in the HOH with Daniele telling her he'd rather not talk game but has no friends in the house. They both think Nick got shafted. Daniele said this POV is for Nick. Once again, Zach says he has no friends and would like to work with Daniele down the road in the game. Daniele tells us it's the "Nick bond."

Eric's looking nervous. Dustin thinks that D&D have made the biggest mistake ever.

Ohhh... picking POV players. Eric needs it, but...! Zach was chosen by Dnaiele, Jen chose Dustin's ball, Kail got HG choice and chose Jameka. Amber will be the host.

The HG head to the backyard where things are covered up and they have little podiums. OMG - Amber's announcing is horrible. Thankfully Jen repeated the game's title -- Numbers Don't Lie. The lowest bid actually loses.

How many hours are you willing to wear a bunny suit? Dustin bid 100 hours and was eliminated. Kail, Jen, Daniele, Zach all have to be Bunny People for five days.

Dump the funk, how many times funky mixture dumped over your head? It smells like manure. All offered to do it for 24 hours.

$10,000 cash is up next. Highest number from zero to 10,000 will be eliminated. All wrote zero.

Sloppy summer is the next one... how many hours are you willing to eat nothing but slop. Daniele is nervouse -- she does poorly on slop. Kail and Jen say 720, Daniele 710, Jameka 480 and Zach is out for answering 250.

Power shortage -- Next 5 HOH comps, how many are you willing to not participate in? Jameka and KaIL said 5, Daniele was out with 3, Jen in the middle. Jameka and Kail can't try for HOH for the next five weeks.

Money walks -- How much of the prize money for the show up to $250,000 would you give up to win POV? Jameka bid 10 grand. Kail bid ALMOST half. Jen bid half and she has won POV. She once again tells us she's not there for the money.

Dick is happy.

The Bunny People have arrived. Jameka is crying about not being able to see pictures from home in an HOH goodie basket. Amber tells her God did it for a reason. @@ She prays and cries and prays some more. Taste God? Um, I dunno 'bout that!

Daniele consoles her then asks if she's mad at her. Thankfully, Jameka sees through it.

Jen thinks she and Daniele will work well together. She told Daniele that she plans to save herself. Daniele made her promise to vote to keep Kail and tells her all about the plan to vote out Eric.

Now Evel Disck is making his move on Jen. He promises to behave, stop picking on her, and says he's sorry ... truce time! Jen agrees. I'm sure she must see through him.

Jen tells us she doesn't know if she's morally ready to work with Dick and Daniele even though it might be smart strategically.

They're dumping the muck on here head.

Dick is lying to Jessica, claiming that Jen told him Eric was the one who was playing both sides.

Jessica went to Jen. Jen admits Eric is a good manipulator. Jessica seems to believe her. Jen is very convincing. Jessica runs to Dustin who doesn't buy it. Then she runs to Jameka who also doesn't buy it.

Local news promo -- A monkey got loose at LaGuardia. Heh.

Eric's America's Player -- To take to the final two, we finally got one right ... Jessica! He talks to Jessica and completes the task. She told him he's acting all weird.

The buzzers are going to the slop bucket dumpers. Jen said it doesn't smeel that bad -- just like manure. Well, maybe that's bad.

Dick is now accusing Eric of ill deeds while Eric is in the hot tub. Dick says Eric has deals with both Kail and Jen. He's way off base. Everybody's sitting there staring like zombies at Dick.

Everyone else thinks Daniele should send her father home. Dustin points out that Dick is running her HOH reign. He's right.

They made Jen wear her paws to do the POV meeting. She asks Kail for her speech. Kail says she wouldn't ask her to sacrifice her safety. Jen then talks to herself and saves herself. Daniele talked about enemies and when you know them, then chose Eric. Big shocker! Are you all okay?

Kail is discouraged because she doesn't think Daniele can keep her promise that she's safe. Dick is on some kind of odd (and probably mistaken) adrenalin high.

America's Player: What should Eric do? Which HG should Eric flatter incessantly in order to stay in the house?

It would be funny if he kept complimenting Dick as Dick screams at him. Heehee!

"You ^*&@#!" "You've got the most beautiful eyes, Dick!" "You #%$#&@*!"

'Big Brother 8' - Schtuff!

I have a new live feeds update up on TV Squad and I'll be live-blogging tonight's show as it airs here on the East Coast (starts in about 15 minutes). Everyone is invited to comment at either or both places! :-)

I'll be writing a late night update for the blog er... much later tonight!

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Into Tuesday 8/07

This is just a quick report as nothing has changed too much in the house since the last entries:
  • Kail thinks she's going home, but wonders why Daniele and Dick are so angry about the Nick vote when they voted to save her.
  • Jessica and Eric joked about getting married after the show.
  • For a change, houseguests trashmouthed each other.
  • Amber told Jameka that Kail needs to go home anyway.
  • Daniele wants the America's Choice to happen.
  • Zach told Dick to be careful about repeating what he says to him as it puts him in a compromising position. (This was about his "Don't trust the Donatos"confrontation with Dustin.) Zach, "I don't really care because he's gay."

'Big Brother 8' - Latest TV Squad Post!

I also have a new feeds update report over on TV Squad.

What can I say? It keeps me off the streets and out of trouble.
;-)

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Report and Video

I posted an article about Endemol banning banner planes flying over the house over on TV Squad. Feel free to give it a gander and a squawk! A hearty thanks to the commenters who linked the TMZ article in comments!

In the house, the biggest happening was that after Dustin told Zach not to trust the Donatos (Dick and Daniele) and tried to swing him to vote to evict Kail, Zach ran to Dick and Daniele and told them all about it.

Dick approached Dustin in the bathroom and lit into him about there aren't two sides, he knows he's been saying not to trust the Donatos, he (Dustin) chose greed over his alliance and on and on. Dustin looked terrified, but stared right back at Dick and all but said, "So...?" Unfortunately, I was too late on the trigger to record the Dick confrontation, but I got the aftermath where the rocket scientists figured out they don't have Zach on their side.

Not that there's two sides, mind you. Yeah, right!

In other news from the Big Brother House of Fools:
  • Now Dick decides he's always hated Dustin. (Um, wasn't Dustin his confidant just a few days ago?)
  • Dustin told Amber that Joe was heavy into drugs.
  • Amber thinks Eric is trying to pit her and Jessica against each other.
  • Dustin told Amber she needs to keep her emotions in check and under control. (Like that will ever happen!)
  • Amber is so mad at Eric about repeating her personal information (which she told on the Internet) that if not for swearing on her daughter's life, she would vote for him to leave. Amber told Dustin all about Dick telling her what Eric was saying about her.

'Hell's Kitchen' - Season Finale Part 1- Live-Blogged from the East Coast

Hell's Kitchen
Argh, do these shows think we haven't watched all season? All of the reality shows feel a need to recap the entire season for a huge cheunk of thime each finale. I saw it already ... get to the meat in the kitchen, please!

This post will be updated throughout the show. Once they get into the show, that is! So, check back throughout the hour and feel free to jump in with your thoughts in the comments area!

I'm still finding it hard to believe that Bonnie made it into the final two. I personally would have preferred Julie in there if they have someone without "fine dining" restaurant experience.

Aw, they get to spend time with their families. Rock's children are cute.

Rock and Bonnie have the design your own restaurant task at hand as Hell's Kitchen is split it two for them. Bonnie thinks she's a force to be reckoned with and it's too late for Rick. She also mentioned she flew under the radar. That she did, I'll say.

Bonnie likesn the task to being given a life-sized dollhouse and a credit card. Rock is determined to win. Rock wants the basics in decor while Bonnie wants special touches. Bonnie wants black suits on the wait staff and, much to Jean Phillipe's chagrin, Rock suggested jeans. Thankfully he was shot down.

Bonnie seems to have more of a plan than Rock does. He's choking under pressure, but I don't think that will last. Both go off to Las Vegas to check out the Green Valley Ranch Resort where one will be running the restaurant.

I like the jet! Heh, Gordon Ramsay mentioned Rock's hissy-fit. Rock balked at that! Ramsay is talking about how they've both done throughout the game. We may as well have another recap.

It is a gorgeous place. They walk in and see themselves on a promo throughout the hotel. They went out for a quiet drink with Ramsay and ended up on stage. Each wannabe have thirty minutes to create a dish which represents their signature style. Bonnie did shrimp and pasta while Rock went for surf and turf. They'll be judges by the group of seven VIP judges, reknowned chefs.

Bonnie won the first one over. Rock thinks she flirted to win. Rock got the second one. Bonnie won the third. Robin Leach is the next judge up -- he goes with Bonnie. She only needs one more vote to win the challenge. Michael, the winner of the first season gave his vote to Rock. Now it's Heather from last year judging... she votes Rock. Deciding vote is the folks from the resort where one will work -- they go with Bonnie! Amazing!

Now they're privately shmoozing and boozing with Ramsay. He has a little surprise for them -- trip to NYC for a few days to go the Ramsay's chef's table.

Sheesh, they must be planning the last part into an itsy segmant. As I type this, there's only ten minutes left and the restaurants have barely been touched on although we saw speeded up video of them.

Finally, it's to the important part -- the last six eliminated chefs show up to help them out. Julia is upset, disappointed in herself Rock thinks. Poor Julia. She tells us she came into the game to win.

The two pick their teams. Bonnie goes with the girls. Julia tells us she wants Rock to win.

Part 2 of the Season Finale will air next week and I'll be there. Er, here. It looks like mass chaos again. The promo calls it the closest finish ever. Um ... okay.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Monday 8/06

And Amber cried.

There. That's today's update.

;-)

Here are the happenings from that Big Brother House of Love:
  • Early this morning, Jessica asked Eric if he celebrates Thanksgiving. Well, he's Jewish, you know. (Thumping my head on my keyboard.)
  • Jessica also thinks you should never fight a black girl because they're crazy.
  • Then she admitted she never talked to a black person.
  • Dustin told her he daily talks with more folks of diversity than white people.
  • Eric thinks a few hundred, maybe a few thousand, live feed watchers stay up during the night to watch them.
  • Kail told Jen that if Eric goes on the block with her, she'll probably go home. Jen told her that people were just saying Eric had the vote to make him feel better.
  • Jen told her that she (Jen) said too much last night. She admitted to Kail that she told people (D&D) that Eric was never in an alliance with Kail.
  • Jen told Kail that she thinks Eric mustarded her shirt to set up Dick.
  • Kail felt bad for Eric when Evel was "calling him out." (I'd call it raging on him!)
  • Kail doesn't think Eric is working with anyone, but feels that since he has watched all the reality shows, he must be aligned with someone. (Yeah, America's Silliness.)
  • Kail can't understand why Evel turned so quickly and radically against Eric.
  • When Kail told Jen that Dustin told her that Zach would have to go on the block for her to be safe, Jen told her that wasn't going to happen.
  • Jen told Dustin that she can't see why Daniele doesn't see that the best person for her to put on the block would be Dick.
  • Dustin pushed the Daniele lied to Kail Card (because she said Kail would go on the block, but not home) in an effort to get her to nominate Zach instead of Eric. (Y'see, it's all good for Dustin if Kail stays. He's the leak!)
  • Jen said, "If everyone fun leaves, what's the point of being here?" (Um... a half-million dollars maybe?)
  • Daniele told Dick that she's worried that putting Eric on the block will come back to haunt her, but she doesn't see any way out of it.
  • Amber told Jessica that Jewish people are all money hungry. @@ She also said nasty things about New Yorkers. Double @@
  • Dick told Kail that if he doesn't get HOH this week, he's sure to be on the block. He also hinted there were others he wants out more than he wants her out.
  • Jameka gave her word to Eric that she'll vote Kail out to keep him in the house. Well, we know that's a sure vote!
  • Then the POV Meeting went down -- results are that Jen removed herself from the block and Daniele put Eric in her place. (So much for a huge surprise!)
  • Dustin told Zach (right after Daniele worried where Zach was) that the votes will have Kail go home this week. Zach appreciated the heads-up, but is in a quandary between voting for someone who hasn't had a conversation with him ever (Eric) or someone who betrayed him (Kail). He told Dustin he was still thinking and hadn't made up his mind. He also told Dustin that he had said the same to Dick. He also has to consider his dedication to finding Nick's killer... er, you know!
  • Amber gets nervous when Jessica sees her and Eric talking. She probably cries about it later on.
That's your skinny!

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Bulletin - POV Ceremony

The POV ceremony has been held. So far I see no shock and awe, so she couldn't have put Dick up in Jen's place!

I'll update this post as soon as I can confirm who's on the block. My guess is Eric since no one's acting too surprised.

And here it is: Eric and Kail are on the block -- Daniele blamed Eric in the meeting for sending Nick home. The LNC Remainders seem intact. But there's still time! Eric asked his buddies if he can be unsportsmanlike and do a little dance when the votes come in on Thursday.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Into Monday Morning 8/06

Jackie's TV Blog, BB8, Big Brother 8

Graphic artist Zoetawny asks if Eric is cracking under the pressure.

Well, watching the feeds into the wee hours, it doesn't seem like he is. As a matter of fact, right now he seems rather stable.

Of course, that could change at any minute!

At the moment, it looks like the Dustin Five is going with the plan to vote out Kail if Eric is put on the block in Jen's place.

Here are the latest happenings from that Big Brother House of Cards:
  • Dick again accused Eric of masterminding Nick's eviction.
  • Dick also doesn't trust Amber and is badmouthing her.
  • Jen is perpetrating the Eric issue by telling people he said she was his #1 and tells her all kinds of information.
  • Jen then told Daniele that it's been Dustin telling Kail everything. (Now that's more right.)
  • Jen said that Amber is a compulsive crier (duh!). She also says Amber must have been the odd vote last week because she didn't cry over voting out Nick (although she surely cried once he was gone).
  • Daniele told Jen that she knew that Eric would get to Jessica and get her on his side. They need another vote and must work on Jameka.
  • Jen talked about how much she doesn't trust Dustin, but Daniele says they definitely don't have the votes to get him out this week.
  • Dustin told Kail that Jen is lying and (paraphrasing) throwing her under the bus.
  • Dick told Daniele if she puts Eric up, Kail will go home. Daniele fussed that she has no friends and wants to go home. She also doesn't trust Jen even though they (D&D) have been talking with her. She wants no deals with Jen.
  • Dick wants Kail gone still, but also Eric, Dustin, and Amber. Um, okay... half the house! ;-)
  • Dick and Eric had another fight -- not physical. Eric held his ground with Dick.
  • Dick told Eric he was going up on the block, it's already a done deal. So much for Daniele's big shocker, eh? Unless she has another plan...!
  • Dick's temper is working against him in the house. (Duh!)
  • Kail said that, for the record, she never had a deal with Eric. That backs up Eric in the eyes of the house majority.
  • Dustin aksed Daniele if she would ever consider putting her father on the block. She was taken aback at that and asked why -- "just to make all of you happy?"
  • Dustin told his bunch that Daniele will never make it to the final two if she doesn't put Dick on the block.
  • Dick told Amber he never lied to her.
  • Eric and Kail talked with Jessica and Jen sitting in. Eric said Dick is a lunatic. Kail thinks he's an escaped mental patient. Eric said he won't back down from Dick.
  • Eric told Jen that she lied and sold him out to Dick.
  • Amber cried.
  • Amber told Daniele she honestly doesn't know right now who she would vote for if Eric went on the block.
  • Dustin told Dick that he (Dick) was running Daniele's HOH with his attitude.
  • Dustin told Kail that he threw HOH because he knew she didn't want to go on slop.
  • Jessica and Jameka think Eric is bold in saying he'll stay this week. But then they both said they need him right now and can't flipflop on the vote.
  • Neither trust either Eric or Dick.
  • Jameka thinks Dustin is becoming more aggressive.
  • Jameka thinks Eric has been throwing the comps all along.
  • Daniele told Dick that Dustin suggested she put him on the block. He's now outraged at him and says he's going on the block next.
  • Daniele begged him not to say anything.
  • Dick can't believe he and Daniele are in an alliance with Shrek (Zach) and Jen.
  • Eric trashtalked Amber to Jessica. (Now, what's going on in his head. He should just trashmouth Dick or others not in "his group" at this time. He definitely shouldn't alienate any of his possible votes to stay!)
  • Kail told Daniele that if she puts Eric on the block with her, she'll go home.
  • Daniele told her that was possible, but wasn't her intention. (She promised Kail that she wouldn't go home this week!)
  • Dick talked to Dustin and tried to turn him against Eric. It didn't seem to work.
  • It's been mostly small talk and chitter-chatter as the night goes on.
At this time it still looks like Daniele will put Eric on the block if Jen removes herself from said block. And, it also looks like if it's Eric and Kail, it will be Kail going home.

'Big Brother 8' - Sunday 8/05 Show Live-Blogged from the East Coast

Jackie's TV Blog, BB8, Big Brother 8

The show is starting here. This entry will be updated continuously as the show airs in the NYC area. Please keep checking back, voice your thoughts in the comments, and forgive any typos as I type this on the fly while watching my TV.

They've recapped and are starting to show the HOH comp. Amber is out first. I can see why Eric was disqualified. It was blatant. Jameka was out at the ten minute mark.

They're recapping Nick leaving. Amber is crying.

Back to the comp... da plane, da plane! "We love Nick! Amber and Eric are liars! The LNC is the nerd herd!" Now, I'm very suspicious. Why is the show showing this? SET UP, I say. They have never shown other banners since the third season ban, plus they have spotters surrounding the area. SET UP.

Zach is out after 32 minutes. We're still in the timeframe blocked to the feeds. Dick is out after 44 minutes. Jessica is out after 59 minutes -- the feeds had started just before she fell. The pressure is on Daniele.

Kail is disheartened that everyone was cheering on Daniele and no one cheered her on. Now, I remember Jameka said some words of encouragement to her! Dick is obnoxious with this right now. Finally Jameka is speaking up.

Jen and Danile had a small tiff, but Kail, Jen and Daniele are hanging in there. Now Eric is speaking up for Daniele defending the fact that her relationships have nothing to do with Jen. Jen is out at 1 hour, 31 minutes. Kail is noticeably upset that Jen dropped out.

Daniele tells Kail she has to stay up and will be there until she dies. Daniele promises her no one wants her to go home. Daniele promises her she won't go home. Daniele is the new HOH when Kail drops out. Dick is SO proud.

(Did you notice I changed the ZOetawny graphic when she got HOH?) Zoetawny rocks!

Now Dick is asking Daniele about the second vote for Nick to stay.

Daniele cries. She wants to find the weasel in the house. Daniele thinks it was done by someone trying to set her up for the fall. Amber tells Eric that Daniele asked if she voted to keep Nick. Now Jameka and Dustin are in the room. Eric says how much he wanted him to leave. Jameka thinks either Evel or Daniele could have cast the vote just to cause problems. Eric is looking very nervous!

HOH room time. She's thrilled with her photos. Dustin made some snide comments as did Jen (in DR segments, not to Daniele). Dick cries about getting closer to Daniele. Daniele thinks she will be lonely. Daniele thinks the leak is Eric. "It all fell into place."

Eric tried to pry Dick for information about the leak. I see Dick is totally avoiding eye contact. He may be a bully, but he's definitely uncomfortable about lying to Eric.

Rock music starts as Dick talks to himself about Eric lying re: the odd votes. "I knew it! I knew it!" Dick and Daniele bring Jessica into their theory. She listens intently. Daniele has expanded her theory into Eric being in an alliance with Kail. Jessica is confused.

She told D & D she wouldn't tell Eric. Now she's talking to Eric and asks him about the vote. She tells him it's Dick "feeding her" the info and he can't tell them. She warns him that he's the backdoor plan. Eric is mad!

America's Player needs a partner. Promise a HG he'll go to the final two with them. It's up to Eric whether it's the truth or a lie. Who do you want to be his partner? (I know he's already talked to Jessica about the final two with nothing to do with this at all.)

Now Jen is approaching Daniele as I detailed a bit on the feeds a few days ago. Daniele asked her about the stray vote.

Eric wants America to tell him to get either Jen or Kail nominated. He's thrilled America chose Jen. We finally did something he can get behind and won't give him problems. He talks to Dick; Dick is getting angry. He said Nick promised it wasn't his vote the prior time. Getting heated!

Dick throws pillows and Eric stands up to him. Well, sitting up to him... speaking up. Dick is now yelling at Eric. Daniele tells him to stop. Get ready for the hammock throw! Rats, no hammock throw. Can't show that to the viewers,eh? All of the HG looked really uncomfortable. I have to say Eric has spunk. He didn't cry!

NOMINATIONS TODAY: Certain people were nominated for certain reasons. Key order: Dustin for not nominating me last week, Eric (Dick looks surprised), Jameka, Amber, Dick, Jessica, Zach. Third time is a charm, Jen and Kail again. Kail -- competitor, threat. Jen - you asked me to nominate you, your wish is my command, taken the game to a personal level and I don't like it.

Kail thinks it's rough being the pawn. Jen is just having fun. Daniele promises to shock us with her choice/target if the POV is used. "Your jaws will drop to the floor."

Hmmm... now the only nom she could make that would do that for me would be a Dick nom. Anyone else in the whole house wouldn't surprise me. Y'think?

'Big Brother 8' - Sunday 8/05 Live Feeds and Video!

There are rumors abounding that this week will be a double eviction. Of course, the houseguests would have no clue, so any mention they would have would be speculation, not fact. I haven't found any concrete source other than folks posting it, but it could very well be true -- we are due for a double eviction. However, that wouldn't mean two houseguests going home on Thursday. How they usually handle it is the new HOH on the Thursday live show has to name two nominees on the spot, then there is a second eviction on a live show on Sunday. If anyone has a verifiable official source for the rumor -- not just folks on the Internet saying it is -- please let me know!

In other news, I've been messing with video. Those who are outraged about the show wasting water will have more anmunition with this!

Part two of that video can be found at this link. I also have a longer take on the late night Dustin/Kail talk in the storage room posted.

In other happenings from inside that Big Brother House of Repulsive Rabbits:
  • It's still very iffy who will vote for whom and Daniele hasn't really told anyone who she'll put on the block in place of Jen.
  • Zach has been trying to worm his way in with Jen, Dick, and Daniele.
  • Kail is still torn between two lovers... er, alliances. Neither really wants her, but Dustin has been working on her most likely for his own personal gain of an ally.
  • It still stands that if Kail and Zach are on the block, it would probably be Zach going home.
  • It also still stands if Kail and Eric are on the block, it could go either way.
  • Dustin, similar to when he was HOH, has delusions of grandeur. Make him stop.
  • Dick is still trying to intimidate people. Make him stop.
  • The alarms have been going off hourly and the Bunny People plus Jameka have dumped the goo, then wasted the water each time.
  • Daniele said her rent is $1400 a month for a one bedroom. I don't think the stipend could work as regular pay for her although many have said it's more than they earn weekly -- $750 a week.
  • Daniele said she hates the "Internet people." She can't mean me! No! I have to go pull an Amber now!
  • There hasn't been a ton of game talk today due to the hourly alarms and the time it takes for them to get through the drill.
  • Dick told Jameka that Eric is playing all sides. Well, yes he is. So are a lot of folks. I'd love it if someone called Dick out for changing his mind so often! Evel Waffle!
  • Dustin again told Kail that if she goes up against Eric, his group is solid... she will go home. He wants to push for a Zach nomination.
  • Dustin also said that if one of "his group" gets HOH, it's to be Daniele and Dick on the block (presumably with Dick as the target).
  • Kail thinks that Jessica is the one who may not vote with Dustin's group.
  • Jen told Dustin that Eric "probably" gives her information on how the votes should go. She then said it was Nick and Eric telling her.
  • Then she recanted and said Eric only gave her information the week Joe went home.
  • Amber cried.
  • Daniele and Dick kept working on Jameka to convince her that "everyone" is on board with Eric needing to go home.

That's basically where we stand right now as I post this. I'll be returning later tonight to live-blog the show as it airs here on the East Coast. I invite y'all to join me in the comments!

'Big Brother 8' New Latest on TV Squad!

My latest entry is up on TV Squad. It includes some live feeds news, a short video and some screen caps you won't see here. A bit later I'll be posting some video clips for here and catch you all up on the latest!

I'm getting very dizzy.

'Big Brother 8 - Live Feeds Report - Saturday, Aug. 4

Just a couple of bunnies hanging out in the kitchen, eh? Today's been quite a day in the Big Brother house. For more detail on the POV comp, check out my previous post. This one will cover the rest of the day and other odd POV tidbits which have been being discussed by the houseguests.

Here's today's report from the Big Bunny House:
  • Eric and Jessica were up until nearly 5:30. BB woke everyone up at around 9 AM. It would be nice if they got a clue, huh?
  • Keep in mind this happened before the POV comp -- Dustin told Jessica and Amber that he told Kail not to trust Daniele and Dick. They then discussed the POV options to protect both Eric and Dustin as they feel they're in danger of being backdoored.
  • Kail told Jen that Dustin told her not to trust them. She wanted to tell Daniele, but Jen told her not to.
  • Dick told Jessica that now Kail should be the one to go home if the nominations remain the same. She said okay. He also said someone kept leaking info to Kail. (Duh, Dick. Dustin!)
  • Dick accused Zach of doing something or saying something to Kail and Zach got upset with him.
  • Pre-POV, Dick was on a real anti-Kail kick. It might have something to do with Jen mending fences with Daniele. Or, as it was brought out much later by Jen -- the DR talked to Dick about his actions and behavior towards her.
  • Dick accused Kail of throwing Jen under the bus. Um, okay. The guy has a screw loose. He must.
  • Dick had beer before 11 AM. The breakfast of champions!
  • Eric asked Jameka if he goes on the block, does he have her word that she, Jessica, Dustin, and Amber have his back? She said he has her word, but I don't know how she can promise for the rest of them.
  • Dick tried to intimidate Kail and Jen before the veto comp.
  • Pre-veto, Dick and Daniele talked. They decided they want to get Kail out of the house because they think Dustin, Amber, and Eric are working with her.
  • Daniele doesn't think they can trust Jen, but may be able to use her to their advantage.
  • Dick threw some of Jen's stuff over the wall in the backyard. For revenge, she threw his cigarettes in the pool. Not all of them, but...!
  • The POV took place. I made an error in my post about it (which I'll fix), but Jameka did NOT take the 10,000. That's not why she was crying. She was crying because she gave up the chance at HOH for five weeks and won't hear from her family or get photos. No one took the ten grand.
  • And, in the POV, Jen stands to lose half of everything she may win in the game. So, if she takes first place, it's cut in half.
  • The Bunny People have to only slop their group, not innocent bystanders.
  • Dustin was out early in the POV comp.
  • The hourly wake-up/slop heads only lasts 24 hours; the Bunny People wear the costume until the live show.
  • The consensus amongst the POV players is that it was the most brutal POV comp in all the seasons of the show.
  • Daniele thinks Jen just wants 15 minutes of fame, doesn't care about the money and doesn't want to be in sequester for the jury. She thinks she may use the POV to save Kail. If she does, it will be Jen going home.
  • Dick and Daniele are worried that they won't have enough votes to evict Eric if he's up against Kail.
  • Dick thinks Eric flipped out too much over the HOH comp banner plane -- by denying he's a liar. (What about Amber who cried and cried that she's not a liar? Are they so immune to her crying that they didn't see she freaked out, too?)
  • Dustin told Eric and Amber that Dick already threw them both under the bus -- Eric's the leak and Amber's the one who pushed for Nick to go.
  • Dick, Daniele, and Jessica don't think Jen lies. (Yeah, right.)
  • Daniele and Dick want to "expose" Eric. (Do they think they're living in a vacuum?)
  • Kail asked Eric why Dustin didn't put Dick up if he was such a threat. Eric told her that Nick was more of a threat with more connections in the house.
  • Eric told Kail that if Daniele puts up anyone other than Zach in Jen's place, she's probably going home.
  • Jen told Daniele that she knows Mike Boogie, but she doesn't like him. (Yeah, right!)
  • Both Jessica and Jameka seem to be leaning in favor of anyone other than Daniele and Dick although they haven't blown any cover with them.
  • Jen told Dick that it was she who was getting the information from the LNC (last time -- Late Night Crew) and leaking it to Kail.
  • Dick and Jen sort of called a truce. He wouldn't yell at her anymore.
  • Dick yelled at Jen.
  • Dick wants everyone to call out Eric at once. Um... odd.
  • Jessica and Jameka once again told Eric not to worry -- that he has the votes to stay.
  • Then it seems Jessica changed her mind while talking to Jen ... or was saying that Eric played her for the benefit of Dick and Daniele. (Everybody's story changes dependent on to whom they're talking.)

Argh. This is all so confusing! I honestly feel that more people really don't care for Dick, but accept Daniele. I don't know for sure if the Eric, Dustin, Amber, Jessica, Jameka block is really falling apart or whether they're just telling people what they want to hear. I really think that if Eric is on the block with Kail, it would be Kail going home. But I'm not certain. Argh. At least Zoetawny is flying a banner for Eric!

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds POV Competition Update

Jen won POV (sigh). It sounds like an interesting comp (which was blocked to the feeds, of course).

Here are other POV comp happenings they talked about:
  • There are bunny suits involved.
  • Jameka prayed and asked for forgiveness from God while crying.
  • She feels that way because she sold out - she gave up her chance to compete in HOH comps for five weeks and won't get letters or photos from home as a result.
  • Kail is on slop -- will be for the remainder of the game.
  • Kail, Jen, Zach and Daniele had on bunny suits which they must wear for a week. (Better than Zach in a unitard!)
  • Jameka and Kail can't compete for HOH for either 4 or 5 weeks.
  • Kail wants Jen to tell Daniele to put Dick up or she's going home.
  • Eric is freaking out because he knows they plan on backdooring him.
  • Dick is still at Daniele to put Eric on the block in Jen's place.
  • Daniele says that Jen has to use the veto, Eric will go up and then the alliance would have to choose between evicting Kail or Eric.
  • Jen supposedly gave up some prize money to win the veto.
  • Daniele is worried that Jen will save Kail with the veto, then she (Jen) will go home. (I don't think Jen is that dumb. She'll save herself.)
  • The Bunny People have to dump "manure" on peoples' heads every hour tonight

That covers the POV -- more details on the day itself and stray POV stuff will be posted a bit later tonight!

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds - Into Saturday Morning 8/04

Jackie's TV Blog, BB8, Big Brother 8

Daniele hung in there for the HOH comp, but how will she handle her week in power?

So far, it seems that she'll be doing it with no real imagination. Her nominees are the same two who have been up the last two weeks, only the backdoor plan is different.

After the nominations ceremony, both Kail and Jen were taking it all too well. It's like a joke to the both of them now. Jen had even asked Daniele to put her on the block so she could go for a record.

Here are the other events through the evening hours and into the morn from that Big Brother House o' Bobbin' Betrayals:
  • In small talk, the HG confirmed the stipend went back down to pre-All Stars levels. They're receiving the standard $750 a week for time spent in the house and in sequester. (All Stars got $2500 a week if memory serves.)
  • Daniele talked with Jen -- told her that she might consider Kail her friend, but she can't trust her. She will "throw you under the bus" if she can.
  • Jen again said what a great team they (her and Daniele) could make if they work together.
  • Daniele told Jen that she would need to win the veto for herself as Kail is telling others not to use it.
  • Eric told Dustin that Dick and Daniele were planning to backdoor "one of us."
  • Amber voiced her doubts about a backdoor plan to Eric and he told her not to say a word about it to Daniele or Dick.
  • Eric told Jameka that Dick and Daniele plan to backdoor either him or Dustin as revenge for Nick being voted out.
  • Kail thinks both the mustard and the odd votes were Eric as he keeps saying he does his own thing. Earlier, Daniele told Kail that she knew the mustard and odd votes were done by the same person, but didn't specify by name.
  • Kail thinks it was Eric doing the deeds, but Jen thinks it was Amber.
  • Jen and Kail don't want Jameka or Zach to win veto as they'll let the noms remain the same.
  • While the LNC is debating the value of taking Jen and Kail into their group, Jen and Kail are talking about allying with Daniele and Dick to take down the LNC.
  • Kail and Jen are sure Dustin is working for Dick.
  • Dustin, on the other hand, told Amber that Dick and Daniele want either him or Eric to go home this week via backdoor. He thinks that if Kail wins veto, she'll save Jen because she feels safe. He doesn't want either Jen or Kail to win POV because the noms have to remain the same.
  • He also thinks there wouldn't be enough votes to get either himself or Eric evicted.
  • On the Dick/Daniele side of life -- the plan is to save Jen and backdoor Eric. They'll work on everybody in the house to get it done. (Eeek, Eric!)
  • Dick wants Daniele to get in good with Jessica for their cause.
  • BB actually announced a lights out time for 2 AM ... not that it means anything, mind you. I always think the HG are night owls, but this crowd is really bad -- usually more than a few stay up past the time of sunrise there.
  • Eric defended himself to Jessica. She questioned him about wanting Nick out. He said he always wanted him out and was very vocal about it.
  • Eric is trying to get buzz going about putting Daniele and Dick on the block next week.
  • Dustin reminded the LNC remainders that they were all in the room when Dick brought up getting Nick out in the first place -- now for him to blame them for losing Nick...!
  • Jessica thinks that Daniele and Dick think the only way to get one of them out (LNC) is to backdoor them, but they also think there would be enough votes to save Kail against one of them. They could be very wrong.
  • Jessica wants to get HOH and also wants the LNC to know she's not getting in an alliance with "them."
  • Eric thinks Daniele is the sneakiest person in the house. (I think he is!)
  • Amber and Eric stayed up talking about the events of the day.
  • Players were picked for POV early once again. In addition to Daniele, Jen, and Kail, there will be Zach, Jameka, and Dustin playing. Jameka is playing for Kail as per the pick, but hasn't said she would use it.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Bulletin - Nominations are In 8/03

Second verse, same as the first...

Daniele nominated Kail and Jen. It's the third week on the block for these two.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds - Through the Day Friday 8/03

<--- Eric tries to work things out with Jessica. I don't envy him his position. If anything, he should be crying, not Amber.

The Nominations Ceremony is looming ahead, but there was a lot going on in the house today without it.

Here's what happened in the Big Brother House of Vamps and Vampire Bats:
  • Daniele and Dick came up with a plan to backdoor Eric. They told Jessica.
  • At first Jessica tried to tell Eric without mentioning his name, then she spilled the entire can of beans to him.
  • Eric told Jessica that he'd like to sit Jen down with most of the LNC (sans Dick and Daniele), let everyone know the backdoor plan and take Jen in with them as she really wants to be a part of the group. (A sidenote from me -- have you noticed that Jen ALWAYS votes the house vote? I find it very weird that she's supposedly so separate, yet always goes with the majority vote.)
  • Eric thinks that she would be good for their numbers, she's good in comps, and she's certainly someone anyone could beat in the final two.
  • Evel kept at Jessica to not trust Eric.
  • In a long ranting about everyone talk Evel Dick had with Jessica, he made it look like Eric's his next target because he feels that Eric convinced them to save Kail the first time and the stray votes.
  • Evel likened Eric to the TV character "Columbo." That was Peter Falk and a bumbling but very wise detective for young'uns reading this.
  • There was no food comp today. I think that's because they never know how long an endurance comp may run and it's easier to plan to skip it rather than have it on standby.
  • Eric and Dick had a big blow-up. Dick said Nick told him things (about Eric, I presume) before he left. Dick said Nick denied being the second vote for Kail the week before. Eric became impressively outraged at the thought he was being accused.
  • Eric ranted an anti-Nick riot act at Dick in an effort to make him believe Nick was the leak and the vote.
  • Others in the group -- Jameka and Dustin -- came to Eric's side to help.
  • Even Daniele tried to calm Dick.
  • Eric wouldn't back down from Dick even when Dick threw the hammock. Eric said he remained true to his alliance. (Little does his alliance there know that America is his first alliance.)
  • Jameka pointed out that it could be different people casting the odd vote each week for personal reasons, not a conspiracy.
  • Zach is the one who finally stopped all the bickering. He announced he has ringworm, so they freaked out about that instead of the house business.
  • Most say he got it because he doesn't wash his hands.
  • Dustin wants the final five to be himself, Eric, Jameka, Jessica, and Amber.
  • That, of course, means that Dick and Daniele are on the outs of the main group.
  • Dustin is also upset that Daniele didn't talk to any of the LNC about nominations. (I personally think that's fair as no one included her or listened to her about Nick last week. I don't blame her on that one at all.)
  • It seems the Jen and Kail on the block, backdoor Eric if POV saves one, plan is still on by Dick and Daniele.
  • Jen went to Daniele and told her she wants to be nominated because she's going for a record.
  • They actually made a little personal headway discussing where they both went wrong with dealing with each other.
  • Jen admitted to throwing the POV last week so Jameka would win.
  • Jen asked Daniele if she was the other vote to save Nick. Daniele told her no.
  • Jen told Daniele that the group that she, Kail, and Zach are not a part of is already turning into smaller groups and will eventually turn on each other. (See! I've said all along Jen is definitely not a dummy when it comes to the game!)
  • Jen told her that she knows she's the target, but has some things to tell her after the nominations.
  • Jen left and Dick went at her again. Sigh.
  • Dick thinks Kail was in on setting up Nick to leave. Um... DICK was in on it, sheesh!
  • Dick thinks Eric is a bigger threat than Zach, Kail, or Jen.
  • He told Amber not to trust the LNC. Amber, forever the wimp, agreed.
  • Meanwhile, Eric went to Jen and Kail and told them he thinks they'll get nominated and the plan is to backdoor him.
  • Dustin told Dick he lacks tact. You don't say!
  • Amber told Jameka that Dustin was the leak -- he's the one who told Kail she was safe.
  • Eric and Jessica have re-teamed up, it seems. They want to work to get Daniele and Dick out of the house.
As I post this, the feeds have been blocked for some time. It should be the nominations ceremony. When I know, you'll know! :-)

'Big Brother 8' - TV Squad

It's not up as I post this, but I have a new feeds entry on TV Squad in the publishing queue. You can find it using this link when it goes online.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Report - Into Friday Morning 8/03

Whoa! Lotsa news! Get yer updates!

In the HOH comp last night, after it was down to Kail, Jen, and Daniele apparently Jen was disqualified leaving it between Kail and Daniele. Daniele said she would be there all night and offered Kail a deal -- she might have to put her on the block, but she won't go home.

Kail took the deal and Daniele is the new HOH.

But that's only a part of the news. When the feeds were blocked for so long, what actually happened was that a banner plane flew above. The banner flown said that "Eric and Amber are liars."

Here's what transpired after the comp in that Big Brother House of Ill Winds:
  • Amber cried.
  • Dick thinks there's a leak in the group because Kail knew she wasn't leaving this week. (Um... Dustin!)
  • Daniele told Jameka she didn't vote for Nick to stay. If it wasn't Jen, it was someone in their own group.
  • Jameka was very upset about Nick going home and felt it was her fault. Daniele told her it was Dustin's fault.
  • Daniele said everyone knows they evicted the wrong person. She had tried to save him.
  • Jessica admitted that she threw the comp, but didn't think she could last as long as the other three did anyway.
  • Amber cried. "The people who flew the banner are trying to make me and Eric look bad because we're so honest!"
  • Apparently, not all read the banner. Jen, Eric and Dustin were talking. Jen said it wasn't fair that some know and some don't.
  • Jen said that she got down (feeds blocked) while the producers reviewed the tapes to disqualify her.
  • Daniele got her HOH room and dedicated it to Nick. She was happy with her basket of goodies and letters from home. Yes, she got a letter from and pictures of Kris (the boyfriend).
  • Evel lingered in the HOH room after the others left. Daniele told him that she thinks Eric was responsible for the odd votes.
  • Dick and Daniele hugged and told each other that they love each other. Touching, indeed.
  • Daniele has been getting closer to Jessica, she told her father. Both think Eric is "sketchy."
  • Eric tried to cover with Dick claiming he couldn't be the votes because he was the most vocal against them. He wants to let the conspiracy issues (raised by the plane) stay aside and focus on the game.
  • Amber and Eric talked more about the banner plane. It said that the LNC is the Nerd Herd (see season 6), Nick is loved, Eric and Amber lie.
  • When Kail and Jen talked about the banner, Kail thought it had said Eric and Daniele are liars.
  • Eric's really trying to backpedal. He's nervous and jumpy again.
  • Eric said the DR apologized to him about the incident, but it does no good.
  • Dick is sure that Eric was the odd vote and responsible for both Jen and Kail remaining in the house. (Now, mind you... the odd votes cast didn't affect who went home. Dick is just freaking out.)
  • The alliances have changed. Now Dick, Daniele, Jessica and Zach are aligned. %$# the LNC says Dick.
  • Daniele and Dick are convinced that Eric has been in an alliance since week one with Kail and Jen.
  • Eric is still denying he was the odd vote.
  • Jessica said Jen told her that the DR told her there's to be a luxury comp tomorrow (today). Dick is suspicious because the DR told her and no one else.
  • Jessica talked to Dustin, didn't tell him the talk with Daniele and Dick, but said she thought Eric was the leak.
  • Eric is crumbling away minute by minute.
  • Amber cried.
  • Dustin assured Amber that he trusts her and Eric the most -- "Eric doesn't have it in him to lie."
  • Amber cried.
  • Amber told Dustin that Eric hates Dick and wants him to go home.
  • Eric is still trying to get back in with Dick and party -- saying that they have to take out Dustin, Amber and Jameka.
  • The tide seems to be turning with Evel and party -- it's swinging to Kail being the target. This is dizzying!
  • Dick wants Dustin to watch to see who talks to Jen or Kail.
Oh, my. What a night!

UPDATE: Jessica told Eric that the DR tried to convince her he had no part in the odd votes.

'Big Brother 8' - NEW HOH!

Daniele won! She made a deal to not send Kail home.

'Big Brother 8' - 8/02 Endurance HOH Comp Update

This is a quad cam screen cap taken a few minutes ago. Right now it's still Daniele, Kail, and Jen hanging in there. Jameka is encouraging Kail, but then cheers them all.

Dick and Jen got into it again and Eric blew up at Jen -- told her if she had a problem with Dick, take it up with Dick and stop being rude to Daniele.

BB is intermittently tossing the goop on them.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds - HOH Comp 8/02

Jessica is now out. Jen, Kail, and Daniele are hanging in.

Eric was apparently disqualified because his head was above the crossbar (earlier when we were blocked). Eric and Dick are trying to call Kail out for the same thing. We got blocked. But Jen is still hanging in there, as is Kail and Daniele. My feeds are really acting up and freezing.

'Big Brother 8' - HOH Endurance Comp - Feeds Back

Jen and Kail are still in, as is Daniele. Jessica is still in it, too. It sounds like none of the guys are and I only see the girls.

Dick is heckling Jen and Kail while encouraging Jessica and Daniele. Ja
meka is out of it, too.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds - HOH Endurance Comp Update 8/02

The feeds are still blocked, which is very unusual. Jokers Updates is reporting that they contacted the producers and there have been technical difficulties. Once they fix them, the feeds should resume and I'll be posting updates.

I thought the pendulums were a bit jerky.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds - HOH Endurance Comp

As I post this, the feeds are still blocked with trivia and theme music. When they come back on, I'll post an update. From that point on, I'll post a quick update if someone is out or something odd happens. If there is no news, I'll post that information on the hour.

Stay tuned!

'Big Brother 8' - 8/02 Live Show Live Blogged from the East Coast

Jackie's TV Blog, BB8, Big Brother 8

The show has started here on the East Coast. I'll be updating this entry throughout the show as it airs. Forgive any typos or misspellings, I'm human!

Cool Zoetawny graphic, eh? So far there has been a recap and Amber is crying. Dustin tells Kail she's apawn and he has more than four people supporting him. Nick is pretty sure he's going to go. I wish they'd get off the recapping! Nick is talking to Dick and Eric about the nomination and Zach interrupted. Amber is crying. She denies knowing he would be put on the block. Sniffle, sniffle, wah, wah. Daniele admits to him that she knew, but couldn't figure out how to tell him. He's mad. But at least she was honest. Now it's to the confrontation with Dustin. It's toned down and they didn't show the cussing he did. Dick confronts Jen about his idea that she forced Jameka to use the veto. She's holding her own. Daniele is talking to Eric when Jen comes in and says nasty things about Daniele's father. Daniele is very uncomfortable with that. They showed Nick shaving his own hair, but Dustin did it! I know he did. Tea scene! Notice Amber just stands there all through it. They're doing the nominee thoughts from the Diary Room. Amber cries. Nick is trying to go for the Trust Card. He thinks he may be able to garner enough votes as he talks to Amber. I can't believe they don't show Dustin curring Nick's hair, but show him cutting Eric's! I have SCREEN CAPS! Why would they edit that out? America's Player is a dissapointment to Eric -- America voted for Kail to go. He wants Nick out and knows the house does, too. We've put him in a spot. He's doing his best and does his Pros of Kail Leaving Talk to the LNC. Dick and Daniele seem to be hedging on the take Nick out vote. It's into the living room. They did indeed all say HI, Babe to Julie as Jameka suggested. Julie didn't even notice. Julie asked Jen about the glass of tea. She said "whatever." She's not surprised at anything. Jameka doesn't know why God chose her to be in the house. More pre-vote DR talks. Very odd -- Jameka said she wanted to keep Kail because she keeps the dishes all in place. What a reason! Dustin is doing his HOH talk with Julie -- he has some regrets about the position Jameka is in, but will be happy to go to Barbados with his girlfriend. Girlfriend, eh? He says Dic goes a bit too far, but he took all of the heat off of him this week. The vote is coming soon -- Kail pleads her case -- appreciates friendships and looks forward to more good times? Nick says he knows the votes are set in stone already, and that he's smitten with Daniele. Aw. The votes are-- Jen votes to evict Nick. Zach votes to evict Kail. Jameka votes to evict Nick. Commercial break. Eric's turn. He tells us he started again on Kail and he does want Kail and Jen out of the house. Jessica votes to evict Nick. Amber votes to evict Nick... holds back tears. Dick votes to evict Nick, regrettably. Daniele votes to evict Nick looking very uncomfortable. Julie is revealing the vote -- apparently BB talked Kail out of the BB house. By a vote of 6 to 2, Nick is voted out. Amber cries. Daniele consoles her. Wow, the volume went low for Julie's interview. She's asking him about the spare vote he was blamed for. Eric is shown admitting it and the America's Player twist. He shows the mustarding. Nick thinks it's funny. The goodbye messages are on... nice so far. Amber cries. Daniele tells him how much he means to her. Ohh... a shot of twisted cat clocks on pedestals in the backyard. It seems it could be an endurance comp! Time for the live HOH comp -- to the backyard! "Time's Up" -- each HG has to climb onto a clock pendulum and sit there. Fall off and you're eliminated. The pendulums are being raised. The pendulums are moving back and forth. Eric's next America's Player assignment Which houseguest should Eric get nominated. It's a night of surprises, Julie says. Another one is coming up. Now they have to hang like bats upside down -- they do have some kind of strap to help them. They have fake crows above them pooping what looks like soap suds. Once the feeds return, I'll be posting reports when folks drop out or, if nothing occurs, I'll post a report on the hour to let you know.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds/TV Squad

I have an article on the breaking news of a possible DOR (Demand of Release) by Kail over on TV Squad. Since I last wrote, we've been blocked.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds - The Day So Far - Thursday, 8/02

<--- Amber stares at the ceiling (and the rest of the day has been only a tad more exciting!) Since it's the live show tonight, it's a traditional day of primping and cleaning. But, with this season having live votes on the show rather than voting taped on Wednesday, there's also some last minute scheming and happenings which might affect the vote. Here are the day's events so far from inside the Big Brother House of Wayward Children:
  • BB woke them up early. Well, early for them -- before 10 AM their time. Then BB stuck them all in the HOH room for a lockdown.
  • Once released from the HOH lockdown, the house itself lockdown is still in effect from last night as the staff prepares the yard for the HOH comp. Dick seriously has to be wanting a cigarette!
  • The nominees both had to pack.
  • Dick told Dustin that Kail is too comfortable and knows she's the pawn. He speculated on the leak -- thinking it was Jameka or Amber - the God Squad. Little does he know that Dustin himself told her she was a pawn since before the nomination!
  • Amber is mad because she thinks that she, Jameka and Dick are the only ones who clean the house. (Well, had they kept Mike last week...!)
  • Eric thanked people for cleaning.
  • Amber lit into Kail about not doing her share of the housecleaning. She really let her have it and didn't cry, either!
  • Kail, all upset, went to Jen and said she wanted to go home. She said she's going home in two weeks anyway, so what does it matter.
  • Jen again told her she left a horrible goodbye message.
  • Jen said she doesn't clean, she organizes. Dick said all she does is color-code the plates.
  • Dick went on an anti-Jen tirade to her once again. She gave him no satisfaction. His language is too much when he does that. I think I myself would punch him in the nose. I do admire her restraint.
  • Amber told everyone about her blow-up with Kail and how she was fine with her until she got nasty about her.
  • There seemed to be a slip of the Diary Room while the blue vortex of water was on... we had audio for a bit with a strange male voice asking Kail why she wants to go home. She said pretty much the same thing as she said to Jen and added that she didn't expect to be cussed at all the time.
Hmm... I still think the house will go with a Nick vote, but it may change if Kail actively seeks people to vote her out. She seems very unhappy about being there and may truly want to leave.

Just an update -- I don't know for sure if her DOR (Demand of Release) was accepted or not. Since she got out of the DR, she's talked to no one -- not even Jen. Then we went to blocked feeds. If she gets it, it will change the course of tonight's show and make history.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds - Into the Wee Hours 8/02

<--- Aw, Kail and Jen look so sweet together, don't they? Here are the late night events from the Big Brother House of Pranksters and Shenanigans:
  • Jen thinks she's gaining weight. Dick told her that she can't trust the scale they have and that he was gaining until he went on slop this week.
  • Dick and Zach were talking about burritos and a favorite spot for them. They said the spices are great, but the meat is dog food ... wham, feeds blocked!
  • Jessica continued her strategy of sleeping most of the day and came to life again around 8 PM their time.
  • Amber and Daniele both had headaches and BB let the aspirin supply run out.
  • Jen told Kail that Nick said he wouldn't move from Minnesota for Daniele and she won't move out of California, so it's probably over for them.
  • Jessica sat at the chess board and announced, "This is my strategy." Then she knocked all of the pieces off.
  • After Amber came out of the DR, she told Jameka it was hard. I'm sure we can expect another tearfest.
  • Jen mentioned that the contracts they signed this year said America could play a part in voting this year. (!!!) Dustin and Jessica didn't act like they remembered reading that. Jen thinks that perhaps America will vote for HOH or vote someone back into the house. (Little does she know...!)
  • They think another possibility could be a final three with America having a vote.
  • Eric was with them and just stayed quiet.
  • Amber and Dustin want Jen in the house as long as Evel is in the house.
  • The HG are too aware of the Showtime show times. Once again, Jameka made a comment about being boring while it's on. Hey, what about US?
  • Dick messed with both the shower head and the kitchen faucet. Alas, he forgot about the kitchen and pranked himself.
  • Eric turned totally around and started talking about how they have to get Kail out of the house. He was pro-Nick leaving until after a DR session. Hmmm... it seems that America voted they want Kail out this week. With the house wanting Nick out, Eric is going to have to do some fancy footwork to cover his tracks. I think there probably will be enough stray votes to keep Nick so he may be safe with his vote.
  • Dick threw flour on Zach and they ran around the house with Zach eventually hiding in the bedroom.
  • Zach made itching powder as revenge.
  • Jameka wants everyone to say "Hey, babe!" when they "see" Julie on the live show.
  • The LNC gathered to talk about the vote. Eric listed reasons to vote Kail out of the house. Dustin thought she's been too comfortable on the block, but still wants Nick to go this week.
  • The HG again think tonight's comp will be an endurance one. The fact that they're going to be on an inside lockdown all day does tend to support that -- BB has to set up something extensive in the yard with all that time.
  • At last count, it seems the votes will have Nick going home tonight.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds - Latest Up on TV Squad

If you don't go read my latest update on TV Squad, there's a chance Zach will move into your house and stare at you.

I'm just sayin', that's all.

It could happen.

Love you guys!

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds - Wednesday, Aug. 1

What a snoozer of a day so far in the Big Brother house! I mean that both literally and figuratively.

Since most of the houseguests were up until dawn or past it, BB didn't even play wake-up music until past noon their time. And, when they did, we heard it or some of it to be precise. I don't know how a George Michael song besides "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" ever made the list. Perhaps they'll play that one for eviction day!

With the late wake-up, not much has gone on so far today.

Here are a few tidbits:
  • Dustin got his HOH camera, hence the image here. He also wrote his HOH diary entry. (Sidenote: I miss the Revenge of the Houseguests on the CBS site!)
  • The voting will be live tomorrow as they're not voting today.
  • Kail told Amber that she (Amber) was never a target of her ill-fated alliance. (That "ill-fated" is my description, not Kail's.)
  • Kail also told her that she's a team player and wants to prove she can be trusted just as she trusts that she's on the block as a pawn. (Hmmm... didn't Dustin tell her not to talk about that?)
  • Amber told her she should try for HOH.
  • Amber told Kail that Jen will probably vote her out as she's "in love with Nick."
  • Kail now regrets never getting the live feeds for the show. She feels unprepared. (I've always had the live feeds and from them I confirmed I should never apply to be on the show!)
  • Jameka tried to stay in bed and the BB voice yelled at her.
  • Daniele told Dustin that there have been three banner planes and even though they couldn't see them (BB locked 'em in), it had to mean something as it's $400 to fly one. She thinks it indicates that people are trying to tell them not to evict Nick, but go for Kail to leave instead.
  • Jameka got mad when Amber told her that Daniele said she (Jameka) said there must be a message in the banner planes. "I'm going to bitch-slap her." (Note: This is the same thing that Dick said about Jen the other day. Is it different coming from Jameka?)
  • Evel Waffle once again started to campaign to keep Nick. There will be another meeting tonight. He thinks that folks are changing their minds.
  • Amber told Jameka she thinks the game is rigged -- she thinks BB is sending the banner planes and they want to keep the shomance in the house for better ratings.
  • Eric told Dick he'd wait and see the house thought on the vote and go with the majority. (Or, actually... with US.)
  • Amber told Eric that the DR keeps asking her about saving Nick. She finds it suspicious and said she's voting Nick out for sure. ("Houseguests, you may NOT discuss your diary room sessions with other houseguests!)
  • Dick and Daniele discussed answering CBS.com questions in the DR. Both said they were asked why they hate Jen so much. (The questions must come from the website, I guess. "Houseguests, you may NOT discuss your diary room sessions with other houseguests!"
  • Jen wasn't pleased with any of the HOH photos of herself.

That's it. It is what it is.

'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds -Late Night/Overnight into 8/01

Jackie's TV Blog, BB8, Big Brother 8

And Amber cried. Thank you, Zoetawny!

It's nearly 6 AM in the house as I get this posted and the Late Night Crew is still up. Separated a bit, but up. Jameka, Jessica, and Eric are in one room while Daniele and Dick are in the backyard.

Here are the more interesting events from that Big Brother House Flip-Flopping Focus:
  • Daniele and Dick were talking about backdooring Eric would be the only way to get him out because he'd freak out. Dick said he wants Eric in the game longer, though.
  • Dick and Daniele were in the backyard when Nick joined them. Nick snapped at Daniele for always interrupting when he tries to talk and walked away.
  • Zach asked Nick if it was okay if he worked to save him in the house. Nick said he could go for it.
  • Zach thought he could work on Jessica as Jessica really doesn't like Kail. Zach also seemed to have some ulterior motives in getting closer to Jessica. (Can you imagine that?)
  • Jessica was pleasant enough to him, but didn't commit her vote.
  • Nick and Daniele fought. She thinks he doesn't care about her feelings; he says he just wants to enjoy his last few days in the house.
  • Nick thinks he's in the position he is because he's so personable and everyone approached him to be in an alliance, now it's backfired.
  • Nick asked Jameka if she was one who wanted him on the block. Dick said it was a group decision for strategic reasons.
  • Dick told Nick that he can't trust Dustin if the vote's a tie.
  • Dick is waffling again -- he told Nick he wants Kail gone this week and has mentioned it to the others, too.
  • Jen thinks she has a gap between her two front teeth. So she enlisted Kail's help in tying them together with dental floss. @@!
  • Eric and Dick mocked Dustin's CD. (Miko)
  • Jessica believes everyone in the LNC will vote Nick out this week.
  • Here's an odd tidbit -- Jameka had bones removed from her feet to change her shoe size from a 9 to a 6 1/2. That's just weird!
  • Eric talked to Jessica about Dick -- he feels his temper is getting worse and they should seriously consider getting him out of the house.
  • Eric said he doesn't really want HOH because the goodies basket would mean so much more to others. Jessica, for example, would get news of her brother in Iraq.
  • Jessica and Eric both think that Amber will cry if she's not the one chosen to receive a phone call from home (when that time comes) Well, duh. Amber would cry at the mention of home!
  • Dick talked to Daniele. He thinks something isn't quite right with Eric and he can't be trusted. He thinks the producers talk to him in the Diary Room and give him information. "Something is up," he says. Watch out, America's Player! Dick has an inkling!
  • Eric is adamant that Nick will be going home this week. America's Player? I'd find that surprising. He may be just trying to cover for an odd Kail Go Home vote this week. I think America would go for Kail leaving more than a Nick leaving vote. Eric's already mentioned that he thinks someone is going to vote against the crowd until the numbers are down.
There ya go. They're STILL up, so we can expect a lot of sleeping today.
