Again, some answers to comments questions will start this off -
1. No, I don't want to be on the show. I would be horrible at it!
2. Yes, the BB houseguests receive a weekly stipend for the time they are sequestered prior to the show, in the house and for the time they're sequestered for the jury. That's always been the case. In the past, the stipend has been $750 a week. This year for the big stars (cough), it's increased so that supposedly their net weekly pay is $2,000. That would put it near $4,000 a week. That's why folks like Diane and Marcellas (perhaps Howie) really want to make it to sequester -- to receive that amount without really working. The winner still receives a half million and second place is still $50,000.
Onto the events of the day from that Big Brother House of Revolving Door Power:
- Danielle and James were the first awake, just before 10 AM their time. They tried to figure the votes and decided that Danielle would probably be voted out unless they can get POV.
- A bit before 10 AM, BB announced that the Veto Competition would start in 90 minutes. [Editor's note: Let's time BB!]
- Will complained that a 30 minute wake-up warning would work perfectly fine - they needn't be awakened so early. [Editor's note: @@ Ten o'clock is not early!]
- Will told BB via the cameras that if he's not chosen to play for Veto, they better find him something to do. After all, they woke him up early. [Editor's note: @@]
- Erika, Danielle, James, Marcellas and Will are the Veto Players. Marcellas told Erika he'd save her if he wins.
- Marcellas and Janelle had a huge verbal brouhaha (I just like to say "brouhaha" whenever I can, humor me). He screamed at her that everyone knew the HOH Comp was rigged for her to win and on and on. And on. He told her he's never said anything bad about her. [@@ - BOLD eyeroll] Janelle went back at him that he didn't play the veto to help her. He claimed that their alliance (his and Janelle's) is all he has and they were to go to the end together. He also told her that Danielle has James in her pocket. [Editor's note: Hey, Mister... I got a snake in my pocket. Wanna hear it hiss?] Then he told her James has a deal with Woogie, too! [Editor's note: Listen to him this once, Janelle.]
- They hug and say they love each other. [@@]
- At about 1:15 PM PDT, the feeds blocked for the POV Comp which BB slated for 11:30 AM. See! I told you!
- Danielle won Veto and Janelle's mad at James for somehow protecting Danielle in the Veto.
- James told Janelle she's in his alliance and he wouldn't lie to her. [@@ If I keep rolling my eyes, I'm going to get a headache.]
- James accused Janelle of lying to him and giving other people information before telling him. Howie tried to calm both down.
- Meanwhile, Marcellas is telling Erika and Danielle that James is in cahoots with Woogie.
- It seems April, Jack and Scott were part of the Veto Comp.
- Janelle had warned George last night that he may be put on the block if the Veto saves a nominee. It seems they're still leaning that way. They counted the votes they'd have to evict Erika.
- Janelle mentioned that Erika seemed happy that Danielle won Veto - was she (Erika) stupid? -- Janelle asked that, not me.
- Woogie is trying to do damage control and have anyone but Chill Town on the block. They claim no one would vote for George to leave. [Editor's note: They would vote him out in a second to save Erika!]
- Woogie are still pushing the Marcellas angle, too.
- Will said Erika had to see the show's shrink due to losing the HOH on a technicality.
- Howie told Janelle that if they put up Marcellas while their target is Erika, if it doesn't work, they get rid of Marcellas. He doesn't want to "lose George in an accident."
- Danielle, meanwhile, is trying to figure out how to save Erika.
- Will shmoozed Janelle once again. He can get her every time, can't he?
- Marcellas told Danielle all about his fight with Janelle. [@@!!]
- Danielle told Mike and James that Marcellas told her all about his fight with Janelle. [@@!!!!]
- Will promised Janelle he'll try hard and not throw HOH comps from now on. [@@]
- Will told James that Janelle doesn't want to be in the finals with George. [Editor's note: Who would? George is about the only person in the house who treats all with respect and doesn't lie or scheme.]
- Ohhh... a new clue in the backyard for the Coup d'Etat! The new clue is a huge spool of rope/thread (sort of like cable spools) and a needle. Okay, combine that with the ewe or sheep. HG are coming up with "Ewe reap what you sew." "Wolf in sheep's clothing." (As are many commenters.)
- Janelle told Chicken George that she's going to put him up as a pawn. ARGH. That ARGH is me. Sigh. So is the sigh.
- Will told Janelle to put him (Will) up... again.
- Will and Janelle hope they'll get a date for an America's Choice vote.
- Erika told Marcellas that she has a feeling they'll put up Mike Boogie in Danielle's place.
My eyes hurt. I rolled them too much. Wah. I want to see the BB Blog Shrink!

When's the veto ceremony actually held? Is Will offering to go up so that Mike and Erika aren't pitted against each other? Is George trying at all to convince Janelle not to put him up? What I really want to know is, if they aren't going to get rid of the real competition, why don't they get rid of more of the whiners?? Diane was a good start, but James and Marci are just as bad as she was! I'm just full of questions tonight!

PLEASE, for the sake of everyone out here and their sanity - put anyone up on the block EXCEPT George or Howie. I would put up either Marcellas, Booger or James. Jani, listen to Howie!! For once he is actually thinking straight.

HI. First I must say thanks for such a fantastic blog! I am kind of a newbie in that I don't blog, don't read blogs, or chat rooms etc. You have done such a great job that we have become more addicted to this blog than to the actual show I think -- Hubby and I have watch BB since the start.
Couple of comments, some of which have been mentioned I think before -- What is with Marcalles? He has become so annoying since "his" season that I can't imagine why they haven't voted his but out in a heartbeat. What does he add? I say PUT HIM UP NOW---
I was never a S6 fan but love how James is out-snaking them all.
My favorite is Will, but even he is far more annoying thank cool (which he was in BB2).
Hubby HATES Danielle, but boy is she good at this game -- I like her. She made a nice recovery after stirring the pot in Week 1 and almost getting her butt sent home--
OK enough of my musings.

Anon-3 - Welcome aboard! Make yourself at home. I've always gotten a kick out of Will. I too think Will and Danielle are the best at playing the game and manipulating others. Marcellas? I'm not liking him so much and I had enjoyed him in his season.
bblazier - Just a BB date as a prize. BB has often done that.
Off track for a minute - wasn't there an earlier post that Janelle told Danielle she was pregnant? Is there any update on that? Someone commented on how she was gaining weight.
Thanks Jackie for your blog - I am so hooked - I wish BB was on TV every night!
BTW - I love Janelle and want her and Howie to stay until James, Marcelles (who I used to love until her became so whiney), Danielle and Erika are out. I love George but he really doesn't play. Season one was so different than the rest - didn't the viewers vote that season?
Janelle, Howie and Woogie would be my dream final four to watch.

about janie saying she was pregnant:
i read on one site that she was talking to danielle like she thought she MIGHT BE preggers. they mentioned that they were tested right before the show started though. it sounded to me, like she had maybe taken another test and bb hadn't told her the results. it was cut off pretty quick...they were talking about it without really saying what it was and kaysar said "you're pregnant?" or "you think you're pregnant?" or something and she was like "not on the internet!"
since then, i know she's complained that she has her period from stress.
it was probably just wild speculation to start with on her part.
p.s. - i don't know why if she took a pregnancy test she wouldn't just wait for the results herself...now that i think about it. but bb had something of hers that they hadn't given back yet, so the whole conversation was weird.
i wonder if maybe it wasn't a current situation they were talking about. like maybe something in the past?

okay, wow, if she puts up chicken george, she should NOT be surprised when she goes home next week. he's the only one NOT out to get her! and the only one who probably has no chance at winning HOH.
i hope, hope, hope that Will talks her into putting up James. c'mon Will! or even marcellas. talk about a waste of HOH. sending george out accidentally would definitely be a waste.

Wasn't Erika the bday present for Boogie? I thought it was kinda weird at the time that she would dress up with whipped cream for someone she barely knew?!?! Now it is starting to make sense!
Hey Jackie! Here's another question to add to your collection; Don't they still have the Spy Cam(or whatever it's called) in the HOH room? If they still have it, is anybody using it? I haven't heard much about it at all on any of the sites I've been following. BTW, yours is the BESTEST!!!! I heard once that BB told someone (I don't remember who) that their 30 minutes was up so they had to turn it off. I haven't heard anything since then.
I've been following (or trying to follow) all the scurrying around everyone is doing (James and Woogie especially) between the various alliances - Sov6, Chill Town, Float Herd, and Legion of Doom. Am I right in thinking that Janelle is the only one that has no clue? Even Howie seems to see more than her!
Wouldn't you think that if she had a chance to check out what was going on in the house she'd be doing it? Wouldn't she be able to see a bit of what's going on if she watched the Spy Cam?
But then again, maybe I'm way off base here and it doesn't work the way I thought. : ) Am I as clueless as Janelle?
Just one last note - I have to add my expression of appreciation for all you do! I've been drawn into reading updates on several sites, but I've become addicted to yours! It's the first, last, and inbetwixed one I check out everyday! The first year I watched BB I didn't really know about these. The second year I discovered you, but would stop reading if I knew you'd be letting us know the outcome of a competition - I wanted to see it for myself on TV. It did't take long before I realized just how much more iteresting you make it, even knowing ahead of time what's going to happen at showtime. Now I know just watching the show doesn't come close to showing the whole story!!!

Elaine - Thank you for the kind words! Danielle used the SpyCam some and Janelle occasionally does. But it has no audio, so it's really not too helpful. Danielle used it just about as much as she could.
Ladies, please check the AMA, because Will is NOT a real MD. Please do not get suckered into his lies like Janelle is.
Anon - He's been a licensed physician in the state of California since 2002. His specialty is dermatology. Even thesmokinggun couldn't refute it. And, they get all the dirt!
Someone mentioned neurologist, but I think they were thinking of Sean from Survivor.
I misunderstood the Coup thing, so just rechecked what Julie said. I thought it had to be a phrase commonly used on BB but it is a common phrase that could describe BB. Big difference and makes more to work with...Still several haven't made a guess yet and the longer they wait they better chance to get it right. Sue

Remember the eye that's in the very beginning of the show when it first comes on...and Julie did indicate that the phrase pertained to BB.
Someone else suggested the phrase early on, but no one seems to have mentioned it since.

I heard Will in some youtube clip saying if he goes to sequester, he brought his "dermotological board study materials" so he must still need to take some type of test?!? I think he is an M.D., but not licensed in something if he is studying still?!? Anyone know?
How about "You (ewe) are hanging on by a thread."? That's probably a stretch. More clues please!

You know how fans of shows want to ask the stars of the show personal questions? I am a weirdo. I would want to ask Dr. Will about treatments for my eczema in addition to medication. LOL>>LOL..Sad but true..LOL>>LOL
I am not kidding. That is why I cannot be on a show like BB...I would want everyone to talk about their careers and family and bore the viewers into a coma..LOL

Someone on one of these threads commented that Will was the only HG on BB that had a career/life outside of BB.
Actually Boogie owns several high end restaurants catering to wealthy and celebrity clients.
Howie is a meterologist and I believe Kaysar, while taking acting classes, has worked in computer science or the engineering. I believe James has a good job in Chicago in some technical field. I think Erika mentioned something about Public Relations or something dealing with representing celebs such as an agent, media consultant, etc.
So many have careers besides Will and most are fairly well educated.

I say right now NO one alliance is RULING the house. Janelle was when BB gave her the HOH, but since she could not play for the veto, she lost it. Dani kind of has it because she has the power of veto, but she doesnt because Janelle still can but up a floater or james, or Woogi. Dani is aligned with all of them. Woogi in reality is just Woogi, they are not in a true alliance with anyone but themselves. If Janelle is faking her stupidity this season then she would put up James. If she doesnt, then she is dumb. Go Dani!!!
It is getting wild on the feed tonight. Woogie, Erika, Janie in shower. Will keeps trying to escape the shower, Janie keeps yanking him back in.

something has sort of been nagging me ever since season 6... i could never quite figure out the relationship between sarah and james... they just don't seem right together. i could never figure out what they had in common. i think i may have just figured it out.
when sarah sleeps, she also dreams that james is will.

on another note:
a lot of people have been posting saying ct/woogie rules the house. i think you are half right. i admire will's understanding of the game(i'm not saying he's a great guy. i can't judge will the man, only will the player. i have no idea what he's like outside the house). he had a huge target on his back coming into bb7. i think out of everyone he may have started out with the biggest disadvantage- being a former winner, and being known as one of the most, or the most strategic/crafty player to play the game. i thought for sure he'd be the first person evicted. but he came in with a game plan, and-like it or not, its working out great for him. he's not my favorite player, but damn... it almost seems as if he's in the bb major leagues while everyone else is playing wiffle ball.
i think the other half of ct (boogie) would be lost without will.

The difference between S6 James and now is even though he always played nice with the girlscout troop when they were in charge...you knew if he won he was still going to target them...Thats why it was Howie really messed up wasting his chance to get rid of someone from GT cause GT was going to go after james anyway and as i said James would have taken out GT as HOH.
This year (or at least at this time in the game) James would not help Jani and Howie.
All that said I want Jani and Will to be in the final 2...so get rid of James or Marcelus now.

Amee - I'm with you... I want to see James get nominated.. I don't understand Janelle's strategy at all this year... Last year her "dumb blonde" routine was to be a cover - one which took her to the final 3 - but this year I'm really starting to wonder.. why do after the weaker players like George who has not won any competitions and keep the strong players who obviously can win their way out of votes? I just don't understand the target being Erika...
I sure hope after this show is over there is a reunion where all the alliances are revealed and the strategies discussed...

The coup d'etat can be used once during any of the next three evictions. Once it is used, it can't be used again.
who cares what happened to will and janelle last night....it's same old same old throughout each episode. janelle has a big crush on will and will is playing her like a puppy dog. i don't see will dating her outside the house after the show b/c janelle isn't his type besides will has a beautiful gf who is a millionaire (didn't erin took the money over love?)
I think that if Will can make money from making out with Janey, he will do it. He is all about money- I am sure to him all girls are replaceable.
The way i understand the coup contest ends this week when julie says who is the winner...not the weiner.
then they have 3 weeks 2 use it..and once used it's over.

at about 9:30 ish (central) went to flames they came back around 10 ish, 3rd clue was a grim reaper and it appears boogie got it eariler today with his guess "(Ewe) you reap what you sew"
