A full recap of today's events is in the works, but I have to mention a few things...
James used the veto to save himself.
George put Howie (!) on the block.
Feeds have been intermittent and it looked like they were preparing for the HOH comp when the feeds went down... most likely not to return until Sunday. They did this last year with a double eviction, too. However, there was a "slip" and we saw who went missing.
Please stop back for the day's recap to be posted within the hour and I'll update any more information I get on the feeds blackout, too.
Oh... and PLEASE don't judge other commenters here by their favorite houseguests! Everyone is entitled to have their own favorites for their own reasons. It's best to keep the comments directed at the houseguests and their actions than, "You're a jerk because you like ____!" Not only will it make it better for the commenters, but much better for me as I read a few hundred or more emails daily. Yes, I get an email for every comment. Eek, huh? Thank you!

Now: I just can't believe George put up my dear Howie! Howie is just an innocent in that mess of a house! I don't know who I'd liked for him to put up....one of Woogie would have been enjoyable.

Well, remember, Mike only has three eviction ceremonies to use that secret power. We're now at his second chance, so if he doesn't use it with Howie/Erica on the block, then he only has one more shot.
I don't know if anyone else noticed or not, but when Marcellas was leaving the house after his eviction, Howie hollered after him that "see you next week." I don't think he meant it literally.
Poor Howie. Why not Dani girl, Georgie???

I do not understand why he would put up Howie? This makes no sense.I do not think Mike will use the power. he will save it in case he and Will need it. Of course if the HG think Mike has it they will not even bother to put up Mike and Will next week. I hope Jani does not get HOH or POV next week and they can finally get her gone.

I like the idea that someone here came up with about Georgie's nom of Howie forcing other's hands!! George is one smart cookie if it works out that way.

Wow, Howie went up. Jackie you are awesome and thanks for all you do! I still want the Evil Dr. to win, but I am amazed at George's picks. Very, very interesting. Wonder if BB gave him the idea to put up Howie after James won POV, because no one else did and he never mentioned it. Dr. Will for President, he is slicker than Clinton!

Wow I am surprised that the overwhelming majority of commenters so far are this upset over Howie being put on the block. I am surprised, though; I never suspected that he would be at all targeted by the Chicken Man. Can you really blame George, though, with whatever noms he chooses? Every time people are on the block, they're always trying to make him commit his vote. He's just a confused man; no one entirely respects him. Except for Howie. I commented constantly during the last season; however, my four children have only allowed me to read and leave my input to myself. I only wanted to add my comments at this time b/c I noticed that we could donate money to your cause. I can't imagine the time and energy that you put into this blog. After last night and the agony of being the guy in charge, George may be looking for a fast ticket to the relatively quite Sequester House. I do not know what happened and why he put up Howie. But,,,you knew I'd have something to say on it didn't you...I can see why George would feel Howie was the only one he could put up. No back door for the quick draw nomination he had to make. He wanted James out and he thought Erica was the only one who would be for certain safe, since she had just stayed by unanimous votes. Then James gets off and he can't put up Dani because he promised her the first week when she was the only one who even seemed to notice him, let alone talk to him. Sure, she only talked to him to ask him to keep her in the house..but that was more than the others did (for the most part, at least)
James and Erica are either on the block or Veto safe. Janelle didn't put him up, so he owes her. He and the other hgs must suspect that Woogie has the coup power and they must be thinking it in some way would make the holder able to save themselves (even if they don't know the entire power it carries) so George would figure out (and don't forget Will and Boogie talked to him and might have dropped some hints) that putting up either Woogie would just cancel out his nom (again!) and then Janelle would go up, since all the talk all night was that "everyone" wants Janelle gone. I'm not sure "everyone" does, but that is the picture George was getting. So, who is left but Big Boy. I'd like Erica to leave instead of Howie, but it seems unlikely. Unless Will feels she can do him more good by being in the Sequester house and swinging jury votes his way.

Anon @ 8:03 - No one was missing from anywhere before the feeds were cut. Whatever you're talking about isn't official because it's apparently a rumor. Rumors spread very quickly on the Internet, but it doesn't make them true.
The feeds were cut off before the eviction. We don't know who was evicted.
And, I do believe they'll be out through Sunday. They did it last year, too.
The should have done a special fri BB show...so we don't have to wait till Sun to see evic...Wonder if they will go ahead and do HOH too...dang...i wish we knew
