Does Danielle really have the Coup d'Etat? Or is she bluffing? No other clues other than the sheep/ewe in the living room have surfaced. Was it guessed on that one clue? I don't think so. I think even if it had been guessed, BB would continue on with clues. This was supposed to go on for the week, so I'm holding out judgment on it for now.
Since the feeds were blocked so long for the nominations, this report will be a bit short and sweet. Well, short, anyway. It's BB All Stars; I can't promise sweet! Here are the evening's happenings from that Big Brother House of Slop Waffles and Other Gastronomical Goodies:
- Before the nomination ceremony, Janelle told George she wouldn't be nominating him. However, if someone wins POV and removes one of her noms, she may end up putting him up. But she doesn't want to. George said he understood.
- Apparently in the nomination ceremony, Janelle told Erika, "I like you as a person, but I despise the way you play the game." [Editor's note: Well, that was a step up from telling Mike Boogie "I'm nominating you because I dislike you."]
- James and Marcellas once again talked about how Janelle wants all the girls out of the game, except herself of course.
- George cooked dinner for Howie, nice guy that he is. I think George should be Prom King. I really do.
- Will talked with Janelle about how Marcellas and some of the others (Erika, Danielle) think the game is rigged for her. She said it isn't - if it were, she wouldn't be studying so hard and trying to win comps.
- Woogie are still pushing the "Marcellas Gotta Go" card. [Editor's note: That's a move I don't understand. Janelle says he backstabbed her and he's dead to her. Marcellas says he now hates her and wants her gone. Why didn't she put him on the block and why isn't she even entertaining the thought of backdooring him? Could it be a secret alliance and all an act? I could be way off-base, but Janelle tends to go after people she perceives as threats. Marcellas has been very vocal about wanting her out. Why is he not considered a threat? Hmmm...]
- The current houseguests thought the returning houseguests (food comp judges Jun, Nicole and Marvin) were rude.
- Will claimed that this year's show twist is: This show sucks!
- Will sweet-talked Janelle and continues to work his mojo. He and Mike are sitting pretty in the safe and clear for another week unless the Coup d'Etat sinks 'em. Houseguests still have no idea what the Coup d'Etat does or means.
- Danielle and Erika pretended to be interviewed about being nominated. I think Danielle is stressing a lot more than she's showing about this. She has on her game-face.
- Janelle told Will that James would be trustworthy as part of their Final Five - her, Will, Mike, Howie and... James. [Editor's note: Anyone out there have a clue we can ship to a certain house in California? @@ at Janelle! Wake up!] Out of that bunch, the only one who would be loyal to her would be Howie.

I wish there was a way to send a message to Janelle about James!! Plus, it bothers me that she's "falling" for Will even though she denies it. I really enjoyed watching Janelle in season 6, she was my fav. But I'm not so sure this time around... she's not playing as smart as she did before. Someone please SHAKE HER! Great Job Jackie!!! I don't think Jani feels Marci is a threat because he never wins anything. Their mutual admiration society sure ended with a thud.
I don't understand why people think the game is rigged for Jani.
The producers can't control who wins comps and who gets nominated.
I think Jani is good in comps and has really good luck. Who would have thought that Erika winning HOH would be overturned because of a malfunction and Jannelle would win HOH again. Whatever Jani's lucky charm is...I want one. :)

I know alot of people think Dani is lying, but would she really take such a big risk. If she is lying and the HG's find out, she's toast ESP when they find out what it is! I think Dani lies but I can't picture her lying about this because the consequences may be too large. I could be wrong, of course
Did anyone catch the huge eyeroll, and obvious disgust of Julie Chen when they showed her after the first HOH comp. When everyone was yelling about the buzzers not working?? I had to tape it, and hit the rewind to make sure I saw what I thought I saw....and definate eyeroll...
Hi Jackie , Love your updates!! Just have an obsevation about Kayser's eviction. If anyone was thinking that an evicted houseguest would get voted back in the house this year, my guess is that will not happen. Julie let Kayser in on James's plots and hopefully, if BB was going to let someone re-enter, Julie would have the sense (??) not to let someone know what was happening behind the scenes

did dani ever confirm that she won or was she just super impressed with her own guess? her guess seemed a little far fetched to me since that was only used one season and it's supposed to be a common phrase used in the game.
also, she thought the fly confirmed her guess...and the fly wasn't actually a clue.

All Janelle has in the house is Howie (and he sucks at comps and isn't much help) so I think it's reasonable for her to try and keep the people who use to be on her side(james & marcellout) because they flip flop and could come back to her. I CAN DREAM, CAN'T I?
After all the bs that Janelle has put up with, she deserves to win everything!
i just saw kaysar in gretchen and bunky house call and he is so conceited he thinks he is the most nice guy in the world and he does no bad deed. wow, going through life thinking he is always right and he never do any evil and it's always other people's fault and other people do evil doings..most be too much on his shoulder to carry in life. it takes no brain to see other people's fault and trashing others. i am very disappointed by his all angel and saint attitude.
I do not think Janelle could play any other way this season. She won too many competitions is S6 to not be considered a threat in the game this time around( plus coming in with an obvious alliance). I don't think it would have been possible for her to lay back. (Look at where Kaysar is) She is the only one that can really protect her own self and that is by winning competitions. Howie is trustworthy but..... She needs to forget James, how can they not suspect what he is really up to. Her big downfall (so it seems??) , Will, now whats going on? Don't think that Will isn't impressed. And is enjoying the ride as she is taking care of things doing the work and taking the grief. She is a great player!!! Nothing less! No matter what happens.

man... i keep reading over and over, in the comments section, people saying stuff like "whats up with janelle this season, i liked her in season 6 but she doesn't seem as strong/focused this season..."
people... out of 14 peeps and 6 hoh comps she won 3... also consider that she couldn't play in 2 hoh comps because she was hoh the previous week... then she won the veto when she needed it. what are the odds?
if anything she seems stronger and more focused then anyone. well, with possible exception of maybe will. i believe will is on a mission to be known as the best bb player ever. i believe he had a game plan worked out long before he got into the house... and its working beautifully so far.
will and janelle are definitely the people to beat this season.
don't get me wrong, i think james and dani are both semi strong players... but they have a way of really putting targets on their backs... i have a feeling they will both end up being fall guys for team woogie. james also seems to have no idea how to talk or relate to people. will can lie and seem genuine, james can't. that's what got him in trouble on s6.
i think when james sleeps, he dreams of being will...
don't worry about james, he will be found out eventually... he talks too much- and says all the wrong things.

i've read a lot of these posts and i'm still trying to figure out how people can defend janelle. she's definitely fun on the show, but she has gotten lucky so many times playing this game its sort of ridiculous (and i'm not even talking about the HOH re-do). the first HOH she basically ducked her way into it - no skill involved there janey; the second, marcellas let her win after she let some others pick each other off. again, no skills there. but regardless of what you think of her game play, you've got to admit she is largely responsible for kaysar's eviction. everyone on BB should play with their own interests in mind (like james, danielle, and erika); janelle did not do that, however, in voting out diane, which was to the detriment of her alliance. instead, she let her pettiness get the best of her and thus put a HUGE target on her back and her alliance's (which is why james, danielle, marcellas and erika are all coming after her and will and boogie's plan is working like a charm). as for kaysar...get off your high horse man. you watched your girl janelle screw over you, howie, and james for some personal beef she had with diane. how you can judge james instead of defend him for watching his own back (which janelle claimed to be doing by evicting diane) is just sour grapes. i really disliked how in this episode he pressured erika for her vote by trying to make her feel guilty...lame man. if he was "looking out for her" as he claimed, he would have made sure janelle did not nominate her in the first place. if the person with the most integrity on this show wins, well then all hail chicken george, but my vote's for danielle...
I don't think Janelle is naive. It's frustrating to watch her trust James, but let's face it: we're not in that house, we KNOW what's going on. James is a good liar - all of S6 believed him. But to watch him sulk, whine, and worst of all, call people the names he calls them, in my mind, makes him a miserable human being. A game is a game, yeah, but I wouldn't want to know him outside the house. He's one moody moron. Just my opinion...

I think Julie Chen seems a bit off this season. She doesn't seem comfortable. She trips over her own words, makes a lot of mistakes, stuff she didn't seem to do in previous seasons. I know it's live tv, but it was live for other seasons as well.

There still could be a houseguest let back in, regardless of what Julie Chen told Kaysar. If you remember from last year, didn't they get tapes of what was going on in the house before re-entering. Or am I thinking of the jury house?

Hi! I am confused about why people think Danielle won the Coup D'Tate (sp). Julie said that the person who won it will not know until Thursday when it is announced. And why wouldn't they keep it going to keep the houseguests guessing? Why end it just because someone guessed it, they said they weren't going to say who won it, so just keep it going and let them all guess.
To the poster who asked how these people can afford to take the time off to do this and 'who is paying their mortgage, etc'
Almost all of them are involved in Entertainment so this is a gig for them. It has been reported that they are getting $4,000/week to be in the house and will get $5,000/week for each week they are in sequester.
The houseguests have leeked a few times '$2,000/wk' but that is their take home pay (after taxes). Supposedly the 1st one in sequester will actually make more than the 2nd place winner.

Hi Jackie, Good catch on the Janelle protecting Marci possibility. It will add something to watch, so we can see if they do seem to still be together..only secretly. Marci started the game loudly hating Dani, which I thought might be a secret alliance between him and D since their famous fued was well known, now he listens to her every word. So which Diva is he really with? I never did understand what caused the division between Jan & Marc..one day Marci left the Pink Queen and began talking trash about her and was suddenly good buddies with his enemy Dani. (there are tangled webs on that wall for a reason, right?) I do remember around that time some hgs (can't remember who though!) saying they would have to start a pretend feud. It was S6 people though. And early in the games, anyone remember who was involved in that convo? Dani and Erica had meltdowns after the redo and must have spent some time in the DR (again anyone who remembers it better than I do..step in and add something here) After that time, Dani seems much kinder and nicer, such as saying calmly things about liking Janelle, just wanting to play the game. A big turnaround..like maybe she got her perspective back after talking to someone in the DR. Will said the fly was a real fly and not a clue. Was it? or was that just Will making up things? Or did Will plant the fly in the first place? Dani is telling everyone who can't leave the room quickly enough (she is such a talker now!) how she figured it out and people tell her she must be right. So it sounds like she either is playing them or entered her one guess and is hoping she got it. It is fun to watch Woogie protect Erica while pretending to throw her under that big invisible bus that runs through the house making regular stops. Thank you Jackie. Sue

Anyone who thinks Janelle is "lucky" rather than smart and athletic and observant should think again ... and watch her. She may say James is in her alliance, but she listens carefully to everything he says and when something doesn't sound right, you can see Janelle's wheels turning. James has a tendency to be his own worst enemy--remember the Bible last season, among onther things? He'll be hoisted on his own patard eventually. As for Danielle...now there's someone who thinks she's holier than thou from her devoted mom routine to the wholesome and needy (of moneY) image she tries to project in the House. It was specifically stated that the sheep was the FIRST clue. Even if someone had guessed correctly, I would assume that BB would continue to feed them clues so that no one would know if anyone else had guessed correctly (because that was their rule).

abigal - I agree that Janelle is smart. She may play dumb some times and let her emotions creep into the picture too often but she is a clever cookie. Last week she tried to warn Kaysar about James but he brushed her off and then threw a cushion at James in the kitchen so the subject would be changed. Janelle has also tried to cozy up to Will (strongest player in the house) to give herself a little added protection. I don't think she actually trusts Will but she does realize he is the brains of the operation and always listens intently to what he has to say. The only problem with listening to Will is his ability to charm the ladies (can't see why myself but to each their own).
Come on people, everybody is playing for themselves and everybody in that house is snake. Who are we kidding here. Janelle is as much a snake as James. Don't let your emotions blurred your vision. Even Chicken George acted like he was going to vote to save Kaysar (although he didn't promised him his vote)and then backdoored Kaysar. So far, I think everybody got backdoored in this ALL STAR BB. I think Will, Janelle, Danielle will be final 3.

also, i find it really interesting that sweet simple HOWIE is the only one that keeps saying they can't trust CT.
AND, now that kaysar's gone (he was the one that kept telling janelle they had to trust james everytime she started to doubt him) maybe janelle will finally realize james is against her. she's got good instincts but lets people she considers smart talk her out of them. and she's usually right.
What would this show be without chilltown, especially Will in the house. A big snoozer of a catfight. Will and Boogie have to be the funniest guys ever on this show. They play everyone. Will is by far the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be in this game.
