To the backyard. Winner of Round 1 to Final Round, remaining 2 compete for second part - winner of part two competes in final.
Mount HOH - volcano in backyard, climb up and grab key, stay on. Let go of key or feet touch mat, eliminated. Need good grips on keys. Smoke coming from volcano. Mike Boogie... "Julie, Remember Richard Hatch? Both of them have to take me to the finals." And he jumped. Erika and Janelle hanging on.
Mike sitting drinking water. He thinks that whoever wins has to take him, that they won't go together to the final. (At this point, I think he's wrong, though either stands a better chance against him because he'd never win first place.)
He's eliminated from this round. For someone with his move, he looks very worried.
The volcano is going to erupt. Commercial...
Janelle let one hand off the key and Julie snagged her. Erika won this round. I can sleep tonight. Janelle isn't happy. All look confused. Mike looks... intense.

Erika just "won" the endurance portion of the competition. I'm disappointed; I'm sure the producers are. I bet there were be some contract language changes if they decide to have BB8.

Richard Hatch was liked least in season 1 of survivor. He "had" to be taken to the finals because he was the one that they could win against.
Mike was telling them, the he is liked least in the Jury and both of them should take him to the final 2 because he's like least...which many of you have already said.
Can you believe they build all that volcano stuff for nothing!!! I bet it movied and everything....

And that's not very smart to be mad.
But he did have the where-with-all to make the Richard Hatch move.
That might have been the only chance he had to break through Janelle's head. It was a smart move as far as he knew. Even though Erika gave her word to Janelle, it might have unintentionally been smarter than he could have hoped. But this is a minority chance.

I think this is what Mike was referring to when he said "Remember Richard Hatch." IOW, he knows how loathsome he is and believes both Janelle and Erika will want him in the final two. Wouldn't bet on it. I'd sooner burn the money.

Traditionally, part 2 of the HOH comp is a speed comp. Whoever does something the fastest wins. Boogie never wins these. Part 3 is usually the trivia question/answer comp. This the way BB has done it since season 3. Will they change it now? I doubt it...that would take some creativity on BB's part and we haven't seen much of that this season.
I like Mike the least also, at least of the final four. Something of amazement in me still is rooting for Will and his purposes... which lead to Mike.
So cool to see Janelle come to her senses and actually realize she made mistakes and actually verbally/actively rectify her game. Wow, that makes for good gaming.
I hope it's Mike against Janelle in the final two and it might just be better (for me) if Janelle wins.
That's going to be quite a struggle for Janelle though if she wins this HOH... to still pick Erika. Mike is right, if she is smart the female winner will take him with to the final two. ...will the Erika/Janelle promises hold??

Well, fair is fair. Janie did take her hand off. Everyone saw it. I guess it is justice b/c of the whole redo on the HOH comp that Erika had won. The only difference is that it was obvious to all.
Those two girls NEED to take each other not Mike Boogie. I will miss Will and his hilarious tactics. But you REAP WHAT YOU SEW!(play on words). Howie was pathetic to George. George is a very nice man and never disrespected any of the HG. Howie has GOT to be held accountable for his behaviour at some point in his life. Total disrespect. Even Marcellas and James were respectful of George.

Unreal!!! With all the times they have thrown comps this season, the FIRST rule of the game should've been something like.... cannot purposely jump off, or have to stay up for a certain amount of time... SOMETHING to make the competition work!
Also, Erika hurriedly asked Julie if both hands HAD to be on the key, I know Janelle hear that!! The second rule should've been spoken OUT LOUD before the comp officially started, "BOTH HANDS HAVE TO BE ON THE KEY." That was just dumb planning.
The volcano thing would've been great if they had just gone along with it!! I was thinking maybe they would wake them up in the middle of the night and do the second round ON THE VOLCANO and surprise the heck out of 'em! But, nope... now they're on lock-down! AGAIN! What happened to the goal of "Good TV"? Oh, yeah, that was Will's thing!

I hope the girls get together and figure it out, that they don't HAVE TO take Mike to the final 2. He would have to win the next two comps and choose who he wishes to take with him. Otherwise, either if Erica or Janelle play against each other in the 3rd comp, whoever wins that gets HOH and they can choose who to take to the final 2. I would guess one would choose the other as they agreed upon originally.
Now if Boogie wins 2nd and 3rd comps, he'll take Erica cause he knows he can't beat Janelle.

I'm glad the comp only lasted that long. As cheap as the BB producers have been this season, then they finally splurge on some stupid volcano. The only reason so many people watched so far this season has been because of CT - period. And then Erika, as skanky as she may be, did add her excitement by riling Janie.

It was a set up...The rules weren't clear...Janelle didn't know what to do...It was rigged against Janelle...It was Boogie's fault...little smurfs jumped out of the volcano and pushed Janelle's hands off the key.....

1. Mike throws the comp & leaves after a minute,
2. Mike's comments surprise Janelle, and she is DQ'd after a few minutes,
3. Erika wins round one, by default, in less than five minutes.
Some BB producer must be ticked about all that money they spent on the volcano. We didn't even get to see it erupt!

I love this!!!! I was so glad Janelle stuck with Erika, I haven't ever really like Janelle, but I would like her to win and it be her and Erika in the final. Boogie is going down this week, I hope Erika gives him a piece of her mind now.
It's just a very exciting night. I agree about the comp. was sort of disappointing, but classic. The poor people who came up with the idea only to have it flop, maybe they can repeat it for the 3rd stage of the comp, then maybe boogie will step off again.
I know she didn't have much time, but didn't Erika promise Janie to jump off the endurance and give it to her if Mike was out first? Would've been a good show of faith.

Janelle should have been more careful, she really looked like she did not care if she won that challenge. Erika may not keep her word...she would be dumb to because she could possible beat Mike but not Janelle in the final two and "SHE NEEDS THE MONEY SOOOOOOOO BAD".

As soon as Mike let go Erica should have let go. She promised Janelle. I hope it's Erica and Janelle in pt. 3, but, I also want Janelle to win pt. 3. She has already put too must trust in those people in the house. She is the only one who keeps her promises. Erica keeps saying she needs money and before she was guaranteed to be in pt. 3 of the comp. she said she was willing to take $50K. She may start to rethink that if she comes out on top of these competitions. I hope not... but it's possible.

I was on the phone with my daughter, telling her that Janie took her hand off the key and I wonder whether they are going to say anything about it, when Julie made the announcement about what had happened. Was it a replay at the time, or did Janie actually take her hand off a second time? I gasped when I saw it happen a second time, but it sounds like everyone believes it was just a replay.
The best scene in BB history is when Erika and Janelle were outside comparing notes....
It was awesome...my Janelle meter kept going up and up and up...it was the BB scene of BB to see that light come on..

Technically, I believe the first round should be replayed. Julie Chen, when stating the rules, said you must hold on to your key (not mentioning with one or two hands). Erika asked if you had to hold on with two hands and Julie replied "Yes, for now." My point is 1) It was not explicitly stated when the rules were explained 2) Julie's response was in response to Erika's question. Since all 3 contestants were facing away, how do we know that Mike and Janelle were even paying attention to what Erika asked. After all, the statement of the rules was completed before Erika's question. Julie should have made it clear that that all 3 understood the requirement for 2 hands.
I am all for Janelle.

First.....HOWIE,boy you really tore it for me tonight with that childish display. It is sooo time for you to grow up and be a man. And,if truth be told,it's CT that lied to HOWIE the worst and voted him out after swearing he was safe. But a little,teeny,tiny bit of defense for HOWIE,CG DID swear to him TWICE that he'd never put him or JANIE up.
BOOGER is DISGUSTING.........he is such a baby!! I thought he would cry when WILL walked out the door and then he sits there glaring at the two girls! He needs to go. I just hope and pray ERIKA is true to her word and takes JANIE!!

Does anyone else think that if CBS disqualifies Mike, that this competition has to be re-done because he quit within 5 minutes I believe.

By my account, Mike has ZERO chance of winning, so I believe he is right.
As much as they hate him, they will be stupid not to take him as he is the most sure fire way to win.
I know Will and Richard Hatch was hated, but I still don't see Boogie taking this one. Not in a million years (and I am a CT fan)

Yeah, i love the who latin stuff too. I don't allow my kids to look up definitions in the glossary. They have to use a latin dictionary and 'piece' together the parts of the word to create a definition. Helps them learn vocabulary better.

Even though I like Jani, this comment is because it was her that screwed up in part one....someone already mentioned that Julie's instructions did not seem clear, and I have to agree with that. As for tonite's show. Did anyone notice what E said to J at the end. J seemed upset and E said something like "don 't worry...I won't pick him..." something to that effect, anyway.
THat competition was fair. Janey knew she had to keep two hands. If she didn't know, she wouldn't have kept saying "but I kept both hands on". She knew, she just didn't realize she took it off when Mike jumped off.
Be realistic, Erika was gonna win that one anyway. Mike knew there was no point as Erika is a pilates person and could have stayed for days. Mike was smart for not wasting his time and energy.
Why do people keep saying Will looked shocked? He went out as calm as could be. He so saw it coming, he even commented earlier in the show. Mike looked shocked, but Will saw it coming a mile away. He handled it with dignity like a true sportsman would

Nobody was surprised today. I think Mike was sad and in shock, but saw it coming. Even though I knew all day, I still kept hoping "keep will..keep will" in the back of my mind.

I just believe that for a prize of $500,000 or $1 million (don't even remember what grand prize is), they should be more careful in explaining the rules (and thinking about what kind of 'loose ends' might cause controversy. I just think the 'requirement' for 2 hands was only stated in the official rules by the phrase "Yes, for now." It was not stated as "Houseguests, 2 hands are needed on the key at all times, do you understand Mike, Erika, and Janelle?"
By the way, I am not taking anyone's side on this. I just think it was a shabbily explained competition.
I haven't been able to read through all the posts, but I had to leave my 2 cents even if my thoughts are not original.
I am sad Will is gone. And I am female. Yes, he was a liar and manipulator and he was brilliant at it. This game has nothing to do with real life. He's probably a good guy in real life. If the eviction would have been Sunday, he would still be there and probably would have won the game.
Let's talk Janie. Yes, she has an amazing memory and can win those challenges, but, folks, she spent the whole season being played!! Is that the sign of a champ? Not in my book. Now, Erika, she...not Janie...figured out CT's game. Was it last night that they realized they had been made fools of by these guys?
Boogie, dear Boogie, I think he pee'd his pants when Will was evicted. He is nothing without his personal puppet master. He will drown over the next few days. Sad, really.
Couple more thoughts about Will...I think his game weakened...and ultimately ended when he started confessing to Janie. It placed something in Janie to leave her open to believing what Erika was telling her. If he continued the lies, would he still be in? Probably. The second thing is, well, simply, that boy is very nice to look at. I don't think I'm easily manipulated, but I admit I would have swooned.
Erika saved herself from certain eviction. Erika figured out--before Janie--CT's game. For that, she gets my vote.

Just found out that the 2nd part of the competition is tomorrow. The 3rd is live. Janelle says she is doing some Jedi drilling. Janelle and Erica are keeping it a secret that they are together. Boogie just told Janelle that she is one bad a**** b*****. Told her that was a good move on her part. He thinks she done it because she can't win against Will. He said he was shocked, but thinks now he may have a chance to win or at least win the $50,000. The girls were laughing while he was in the DR. They want him to think they both want to take him to the final 2.
Also, he hugged Janelle and said it was okay, after she said she was sorry and had to do it. When Mike was in DR, she told Erica that Will always said he was the fox and she was the bunny. She looked at Erica and said "who is the bunny now, b***! They both also did a Whatup Kaysar to the live feeds! Love IT!
I think Julie said "two hands for now" because in reality show endurance challenges, the change the rules to make it more difficult as time goes on.
People are splitting hairs. Janey knew the rule. She made a mistake. It has happened in my endurance challenges on several shows.
(think Rudy on Survivor--since we are talking Richard Hatch these days).
Personally, I think Mike looked sad. Keep in mind, he and Will go beyond game-show friends. They are true blue friends and I think every single one of us would be sad if our REAL LIFE friend lost. Is he mad? absolutely, but I tihnk he looks like he grieving the loss of Will. Honestly? I like Will, but I think Mike's chance of winning just increased by the loss of Will. I though Mike was honest about his goodbye message to will. Money is great, but their friendship was bigger.

Jackie...how popular your place is tonight! I haven't read all the comments, so sorry if this has already been discussed. Erica was already pretty much locked into the endurance comp before they began, so no harm done with the other two being out. No harm, except to BB producers and the unnecessary expense and logistics of building a volcano that moved (don't you think it must have moved?) They had talked for days of Erica and her endurance talents. Even tonight, she looked comfortable standing on that wall, while Janelle couldn't quite fit.
Doesn't it sound like Will had suggested to Boogie to jump off? Isn't that just a Will move? Can't you almost hear him saying, "Don't waste your time and talent doing the stupid endurance thing, just end it quickly and take a seat to watch the ##'s fight it out". But, Will couldn't leave directions for the next comp, because he didn't know what it would be. It reminds me of when Cappy left Maggie a list of who and what to accomplish after his eviction.

The plot thickens.....for the record I believe that Janelle did mess up, although did anyone else notice how uncomfortable she seemed? Her key was like to low for her to stand under, geez BB how about measuring the hg's height and place them accordingly. Erika was just the right height and who cares about "loogie" (oops, sorry Mike fans...;). But, Janelle was ducking to stand under it anyways, she wouldn't have lasted.
I believe that the girls are coming to their senses...Janelle needs to open up and dish the dirt, on you know who, whose name we hate to mention. That will at least give good ole Erika something to think about.....

I think all of you may be missing something here... Remember the show with Will and Mike's mothers? Mike's mom insinuated that there was a connection between Erica and Mike prior to the show. This could all be a play by Mike and Erica to get to the final two - together - under the radar. They would have done it without anyone really knowing... But then again Maybe Dr. Will does? But I don't think so. I think they used Janelle to get him out, turned him against her, so now if either of them get to the final two or if they go together they win! Just a disjointed thought!
Thank Heavens Will is finally gone, gone, gone. Next Boogie...if Janelle wins HOH or Ericka doesn't turn. At this point, I think the ladies will hang tough. BTW, Will's clever X-Ray comment about Erika...it came straight out of the novel, Bonfire of the Vanities.

The reason I'm upset at Howie is because it's just a game, and once it's over, let it drop. It wasn't a personal slight on Howie, it was just part of the game and a strategic move by George. Do you get upset when someone bluffs in cards...no... because it's only a game. For Howie to still hold a grudge against George and to start a fight like that shows how immature he is. Also, Howie is a bully, and a bully will only pick on those he considers weak. Marcellas and George are weak, so he picks on them, he doesn't pick on James because he knows James will knock him on his backside.
