Here are the events from last night and through the overnight hours into today from that Big Brother House of Waning Days:
- Will and Mike are pleased with the results of their Operation Double-Date. They think they're sitting pretty for a win.
- Mike told Erika that Will is happy with third place (and a Vespa) because he still felt guilty about the second season. He implied that Erika would be in second place with him. She believes him. She shouldn't.
- Will and Janelle talked with Will pushing the idea that everyone would hate him in the finals and whoever was with him would win. [Editor's note: Maybe, maybe not.]
- The houseguests were thrilled to get a special delivery (from the storage room) of fried chicken from KFC. [Editor's note: Well, we now know KFC has to be a sponsor due to the Colonel on Thursday and now a feast. I never saw people so happy about fried chicken.]
- Janelle mentioned that the houseguests in sequester can only talk about the game with handlers (show staffers) around. I found that interesting.
- Will and Janelle had their ups and downs with bickering and making up. Will told her he's bored and she's his playmate, so he tries for excitement.
- Erika's very stressed out about the upcoming POV comp.
- Will wanted to barter for the return of the trampoline - he offered the pool table and the hammock.
- They played cards. I don't like watching them play cards. I don't like when they shuffle cards. Make them stop.
- Janelle and Will whispered a lot. I don't like it when they whisper. I can't hear what they're saying. Make them stop.
- (I'll stop fussing now.)
- Will is worried that Erika will send him home if she wins POV. He tells Mike to work on her.
- Will told Mike that Janelle asked him if she was safe - he assured her that she was and it would be Erika sent to the jury. It seems Will is intent on keeping Janelle in the final three and Mike seems to have no objection.
- Mike said that Erika has to go home next because she's an "endurance freak" and the last comp is usually endurance.
- Will thinks he can flirt Janelle out of an endurance comp.
- Will thinks that they (Woogie) have to be careful as to not push Janelle and Erika to the point where they might team up against them.
- Will, prone to puppet shows, used a kiwi fruit and a grapefruit to act out his relationship to Janelle. He told Janelle (through the fruit) that the flirting was a joke while the friendship was real.
- Mike and Erika think that Janelle probably gained ten to fifteen pounds in the house.
- Will said that Danielle liked to be everyone's friend while throwing them under the bus.
- Will and Mike bid goodnight and separated themselves from their showmances.
- Janelle wanted to talk with Will and after he finally said to go ahead, but she had to tell a story. So she made up a story. Hey, I just report. I don't know what his fixation with stories is.
- They (Janelle and Will) continued to talk about Big Brother and other things for quite a while.
- All are sleeping, some tossing and turning a bit, as I get this posted.
POV should be later today. If, by chance, I'm not right around to post about it, this site is great for instant updates.

Just to further the KFC knowledge...on Housecalls, they told George that KFC was giving him an entire year's worth of KFC. He thought that is, guess what?? "So cool!!" Gotta love that George! Maybe he can become a $ spokesman.
Regarding Mike, I'm not so sure about the high IQ thing, shrewd, cunning and sleazy for sure, not so sure I'd call him that smart. Sigh. Definitely chooses wisely in associates like Will, though. Nope, not a Will fan here but have to give it to him for his manipulation prowess. As much as I prefer other players, they deserve to lose to Will for playing in to his smarmy charm. Oh well.
And Jackie, I agree...make them stop playing cards! So boring. And more importantly...thanks, Jackie for all you do...and do so well!!!

I dislike both Mike and Will intensely. While I really want Janelle to win, I'd be happy with Erika winning at this point. Anyone but the sleazy CT brothers.
I do hope Will's girlfriend is watching his antics. I'd be so gone, no matter how much in love I had been. His behavior has been reprehensible, though I think he DOES like Janelle. His body language is very revealing, and I imagine his girlfriend can tell. It's so obvious.
Will's power over the people has nothing to do with his having a degree, he has an innate gift that, imo, he cheapens by misuse. He isn't the first or the last to use their talents for tearing down instead of building up, however. It is just disappointing to see genius being wasted. And, if he were 10 years younger than he is, I would even be able to stomach it all a little more.
He raves to Boogie about how funny he is in the DR by tying in Christmas and Ho Ho Ho. Women love him and he doesn't seem to return the compliment. From his comments and actions I don't know that he respects many people in the world, but he certainly appears to not think women are his equal.
All the double dealing, telling different stories to different people, and the outright pleasure in building trust with fellow hgs just to laugh about their believing him, will end with the show. Then Woogie and their so-called supreme game plan will be watched, in total, by everyone in the house. That will be too late for the jury vote, but Woogie knows the time is coming.
The main "endurance competition" Boogie is concerned about is long term plans he built in Erica's heart....and Woogie both know that Erica's brother and family are watching the show, and that they will have a lot of 'plaining to do to many people on the outside.
Then the Piped Pipers of BB will have to pay the Piper. Sure they may have a pile of money for their trouble and know that they played a mean game as well as anyone can. But, they will have hurt a lot of people who wanted them to be more than just playing a game. Those who hoped for some substance to a mind game. Because after all Woogie is a one trick pony. They lie. That's it. No finesse to that. Thank you Jackie, Mary
This is A HUGE Janelle fan from MN. agian.I would really love for Janelle to win. I have been praying for s6 all season.Expect at the end for James.But action's speak louder than word's & it is on every movement that Janelle & Will make around each other that speak's louder than their action's. I am very proud of Will for not going the I am going to treat you like a cheap-season fling;Even though,Janelle is way to above game's with the heart,I think.She has the hot's for Will too.He is showing he is a gentleman when it come's to not going to the lust level with Janelle.Which I can not wait for an update 2-3 month's after the show about these two.They are sending off spark's onto every camera man or woman filming the show & I think it show's high self-esteem with the amount of control both have shown.Go Janelle & beat their butt's for POV.Go JANELLE.

I actually love Will and think he has played the game the best, of course you have to lie and be devious to win..it is a game-they all do it. As far as manipulating the women of the show--SO WHAT! Erika and Janelle are not doing anything they do not choose to do.
Janelle is my favorite in the house and I am hoping she takes it all. There is really some chemistry between her and Will, when he looks at her it looks like more than "showmance". Erika is pretty nasty, and I hope she goes this week.

I have to say the preceding comments today really made me think, and smile. So many of you have put such on the point comments about the Woogie/Jani and Erika. I think above all Mike Boogie would be nothing without Will, gone the first week. I think Erika is in for some heart and headache after this is over..I just hope Janelle survives this POV
You know,I resent the comment that BB should only allow college grads or higher to play the game because they are smarter.......NOT!! Some of the wisest people I know have never been to college or even graduated from high school. As I tell my college graduate son(and architect)they can teach you "book smarts" but there's such a thing as "common sense" and "street smarts" that go a long,long way in getting you through life!
What BOOGER and WILL lack is compassion for other human beings. I don't know how WILL can be a sucessful doctor and not have any more compassion for people's feelings than he shows on BB.It may be something he feels he can turn off and on,but deep down,this seems like a serious flaw in his character.He wants to be "famous" for his game play and lying and as long as he TELLS everybody he's doing it,then it's OK? Most people won't believe that because most of us like to believe the best about people and give them the benefit of the doubt.
I think Erin seems to be the ideal woman for WILL. Was that not her claim to fame.....lying and telling men what they wanted to hear and believe to fill her pockets with money? Perfect match for WILL,they deserve each other.

The show casts the people that apply and I have a feeling that more "dumb, uneducated, gullible" people apply than "college grads that can actually strategize and play the game as it's supposed to be played". They have to try to find the middle of the road and we end up with what we see. Not to mention that they have to cast "beautiful" people. How many "regular" people have we seen on the show? When's the last time we saw an overweight woman? How many overweight men have we seen?
Just my thoughts...

I do believe Will and Mike deserve to win the show. They have duped the girls good. I don't think Will is a sexist, as he seems to have duped both women and men in the show equally.
As a single woman, I'd still date Will. He seems to really love Erin and resists physicality with Janey. In many feeds, he seems TRULY uncomfortable with Janey's advances and tells her to stop frequently due to Erin. He has put up the roadblocks when Janey wanted to take it farther, however, I think he is confused because I think he has fallen for her. He denies it but body language says otherwise. I think we will learn that Janey played him just as badly
I do think Mike is a sleaze for what he did to Erika. I think flirting with a girl to get farther in the game is one thing, but sleeping with her is another. He basically prostituted himself for 500,000 (if he wins, which I doubt he can)
Basically, I doubt Will is a player in real life. He finds a woman and settles with her for awhile is my impression. Boogie probably has commitment issues and sleeps around
The hgs have been talking about their past seasons and what went on. I like to hear the 'what happnened afterwards' stories. Janelle said, for example, that sometime around All Star talks that she and Ivette ended up together on a flight back to Florida.
Hearing about Janelle and Ivette together reminded me of last season. There were three left in the house. Janelle took Ivette into her confidence and told her that voting for Maggie to go with her (Ivette) to the finals meant Maggie would win..hands down. Ivette voted for her 'friend' Maggie instead of doing what was best for Ivette. She voted as she was told, and didn't think for herself. We don't know what would have happened last season if Ivette had taken Janelle instead of Maggie..maybe Ivette still wouldn't have had the jury votes. But, it all seems sort of similar to what is going on in the house now. At this point, we don't know which will have that power that Ivette had, but whomever it is, will they think for themselves or do what they are told?
What can I say, the house is always a real snooze the last weeks, so thinking what might happen is more interesting than was is happening. POV will, pretty much, end the game. Mary

Having a degree does not automatically make one a better strategist or BB game player. I have two university degrees and graduated on the deans list but I'm sure I would make a lousy BB player. For one, I am too emotional. If I thought someone was my friend in the game I would play with my heart instead of my head.

Janelle has been a horrible BB player. She's been totally played by CT and does not deserve to win.
Janelle repeadily overlooked CT as a threat and didn't put them up for eviction even once even when James (from her OWN ALLIANCE warned her!) She decided to go after the "dangerous floaters" while CT worked to evict EVERYONE IN HER ALLIANCE AROUND HER! Face it, its Janelle's fault that S6 is not the final four.
Once again let me say, that S6 SHOULD HAVE BEEN the final 4. There was no reason why Howie, Janelle, Kayser, and James shouldn't be sitting there right now. The reason they are not, is Janelle's refusal to put up CT. CT worked constantly to make sure S6 was destroyed (since they, NOT THE FLOATERS) were the biggest threat.
Janelle's ignorance about the game, lead her into the position where she's fighting for her life. She shouldn't win. Will should. Best bb player in history.

Don't agree with much of what Anybodybutjanelle posted, however he is right that the final four shoud have been Janie, Howie, Kayser and James. But they all have to take responsibility for not voting out CT when they had the chance. And sadly, it all started with Kayser. Janie will rue the day she aligned with Will. Nevertheless, I hope Janie nails the POV and takes the prize.
Hard to see at this late stage in the comps how Mike and Will can lose overall regardless of who gets POV...they've played the girls so well they will turn on one another rather than put up their showmances.

You are welcome. I enjoyed it very much. He seemed hit it on the head about most of the houseguests. I love Will too. Everybody seems to be freaking out about the way he plays the game.. most people cheat at Monopoly. This is a game just a different type.

Will is the best player in the game, but if he evicts Erika over Janelle, his stature drops. Janelle would have played him to survive over a weaker HG. It might cost him several votes in the finals.
Of course, by keeping Janelle, his stature as a friend would skyrocket. (If he cares, I think he can and will deal with that later.)

My husband & I are in disagreement about who we'd like to win. He thinks Will "deserves" the win for being such a good liar, master manipulator, and for playing the game so well. He's right. This is not the olympics or some kind of sporting event. BB is a game of the liar, the master manipulator, and playing people.
Janelle got played big time. S6 should be there, but instead CT worked their magic and one by one, misdirected S6 at the floaters and FORCED the floaters to strike back at S6. It was a PERFECTLY executed plan of misdirection. While S6 was focus on floaters (thanks to CT) and the floaters gunning for S6 (thanks to CT) all CT had to do was sit back and let whoever was in power vote out the other side one by one....
CT's play was INCREDIBLE. Will is the MASTER of BB. Forget queen or prom queen. WILL RULES BB!

Anybody -- I completely disagree that "CT's play was INCREDIBLE." Boogie won HOH a few weeks ago and Will was unhappy with that. By winning, Boogie put a target on his back. Now that he has HOH again, he decided to put both of the girls up instead of backdooring the one they want to leave. Janie has proven time and time again that she can pull a win out when she really needs to! To play a good game, one needs to take out the competition without making enemies. As it stands now, I don't believe anyone on the jury would vote for Boogie to win unless he were up against someone like Hitler.
However I do agree that "Will is the MASTER of BB." As much as I'd like to see Janie win, I don't think she stands a chance against Will. When it comes time for the final two to make their pleas to the jury, he'll be able to make everyone see that it's just a game and he played the best. He also did it without being overly mean or offending anyone.

I was trying to make the point that they suprised the MESS outta me with their game play. I really had idea that they would get past the first eviction must less rule the game....

I agree with you about Boogie winning HOH. I think is was the wrong move (based on Wills plan) and I think is could have cost them a lot.

Hope neither Mike or Erika win. Evidently viewers feel the same as Mike's popularity rating is 1.1 and Erika is .9...not a big surprise and they are both the ultimate "floaters."
anybodybutjanelle, would to be super, but I doubt it will happen. Will's the man! He has obviously played the best game and will convince the ousted jury he's so nice and such a good player that he deserves to win. He'll say he played the way he did as paty of the game and he's really a sweet, sensitive, quiet soul.....gag me!

Erika is talking on the live feeds about how Josh dumped her right before she came in the house (telling Janie). And how guys are stupid for not knowing a good catch when they find one. She asked Janie, "I think we're good catches don't you?" Janie says, "Hell yeah!" Poor Erika is so sincere and little does she know how skanky the boards have her as being. Also, Will's been doing his the past 24 hours pointing out to the camera, Boogie or Erika that he hopes that Janie knows the whole time that this has been a flirtmance and nothing more. And that his future lies with Erin and that he loves Erin. I so hope Erin dumped his butt for sure as rumor has it!

Everyone is talking about how Janie should win because she's won the most competitions. The point of winning competitions in BB is to have power. As soon as she wins power (HOH or POV) what does she do? She runs to Will to see what HE wants her to do. Having the power and using the power are two completely different things, and Janie hasn't used her power once! BB is about being the last one standing in the house. For Will to be where he is without EVER winning a comp is definitly INCREDIBLE. He used the tools he had at his disposal to make the ones who did have the power use it for his purposes! THAT is the mark of a true player.
I don't agree with the comments he's made about the other houseguests, nor do I agree with the things he's said to Boogie about using Erika. I also don't think we're seeing the true Will. In every interview I've read or seen, Will seems to enjoy the roll of the "Evil Doctor". To keep that persona, he has to make us hate him. It's his "thing". A lot of celebrities have their own thing and that's Will's.
Erika just admitted to Janelle that she would never date Boogie outside the house. Janie asked her "Then why did you..." Erika said because she missed the human touch. "I'm just a very touchy feely person." Janie says she wants just a normal guy but wouldn't answer Erika's question on her feelings for Will. She said, "I don't want the Internet fans to know."

Don't get too excited Anybody!! I'm still pulling for Janie to win. I always go for the underdog and at this point she's definitly the underdog. I understand that she put herself in this situation, but I would love to see Dr. Evil's monster turn on him.
After seeing Will play BB7, I don't think I could ever use him as my doctor. I would be wondering the whole office visit whether he was lying, cheating, or manipulating me. In other words, I would be awfully dubious about anything he said. He does deserve to win BB7 though.

Can Mike possibly be as annoying in real life as he is on BB? Hard to believe because although he is not an attractive man/child in face, form, or personality he has made of success of his restaurant career. As much as I would love to believe that Janelle is playing CT, I fear that is just not happening. She had her chance during the live show to make her own decisions and control her own fate, but instead she ran to the devil himself to tell her what to do.
I definitely want Janelle to win, but she will have to do so through her incredible competition play... not her ability to strategize and manipulate people.

I have to say I'm disappointed in all who are saying that Janelle has not played well. She is in the final 4. As long as it is not her being evicted it doesn't really matter who is evicted. After all how many times has Will said that. She has been the biggest target in this game. The best player is obviously the one who wins. I certainly don't agree with everything she has done but it has gotten her this far.

Janelle is in the final 4 because Will wanted her there. If Will didn't want Janelle in the final 4, she'd be gone by now. It has (almost) nothing to do with how she played. More to do with how she WAS played. She was saved by CT because they realized she'd do what wanted. If Will was gay, Howie would be in the final 4. Its whoever they could manipulate the best and it has been Janelle. Worked her like an elmo puppet on seasame street.

I do see how anyone can diminish Janelle or Will in this game. Janelle's ability to win comps is amazing and will probably make her the winner in the end because the rest of the hgs respect her in that regard. I feel sorry for Janelle when she hears the truly nasty remarks Will makes about her behind her back...yet he can't even take a bath without inviting her to keep him company...maybe "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" philosophy? Who knows? Will insists in the diary room Janelle is a psycho who is "ruining his life." That dubious honor belongs to him.
Did they do the POV comp? I'm dying to know who won it!!
Petals - He's with her a lot, but not all the time. He napped for a long time earlier, leaving Janelle and Erika alone together. Boogie was also napping.

When Jackie gave us the other webstie earlier, I clicked to see if something happened. I then started clicking on other stuff. Will's website is on there and he has a webmaster (Nancy) taking care of everything until he gets back. She had to respond to tons of negative comments made about Will because of some really nasty stuff he said about Janelle to the internet camera. He said she was a psycho and that she was ruining his relationship with his girlfriend, and so were the producers of BB, because of the way they were portraying them. I have liked Will since BB2. I have watched them all. I love Janelle too. But, I thought it was very distasteful for him to make those nasty remarks about her. Apparently it was so bad, the webmaster had to issue and entire letter to the posters. I couldn't beleive it. I just thought it was a total lack of class from someone I totally have enjoyed this entire game. Very mean and tasteless.

It's clear from the feeds that now that the end is near Will is trying to distance himself from Janelle...this should cause her to wonder just how much of their relationship has been showmance and how much is a genuine friendship. Those who watch the feeds know Will is not Janie's friend. Soon, and sadly, Janelle will know it too...if she doesn't already.

I was the one that posted about Will's website. Anon just said it right. That is another thing he is very much so trying to do: distance himself away from Janie. That's one of the reasons she got upset. She already knows. He then goes and says some really bad things about her. TACKY!

While we're all sitting here waiting for POV, I want to propose a theory about why Erika and Janie have become slaves to CT. Have you ever heard of Stockholm Syndrome?
It's a psychological response sometimes seen in an abducted hostage, in which the hostage exhibits loyalty to the hostage-taker.
Captives begin to identify with their captors initially as a defensive mechanism. Small acts of kindness by the captor are magnified.
It's important to note that these symptoms occur under tremendous emotional stress.
A strategy of trying to keep your captor happy in order to stay alive becomes an obsessive identification with the likes and dislikes of the captor which has the result of warping your own psyche in such a way that you come to sympathize with your tormenter!

The ultimate would be is if Boogie evicts Will on Sunday. Didn't Will do that to him when they were down to 3 or 4 HGs?

My take on the Will/Janelle is that Will actually has feelings for Janelle but is smart enough to know that once they are out of the house those feelings will probably be different (i.e. Boogie and Krista). However, he is also smart enough to know that Erin has probably dumped him, so he must keep Janelle interested enough so that when this is over, he has a fall back. And also, Janelle could win and that would make a relationship with Janelle more likely. (Erin won 2 million though)
I watched the fruit bit, I am confused. Janelle is definitly the grapefruit , but is Erin the apple or is the show the apple? hmmmm, why can't he just come out and say what he means (whisper it even).
You cannot seriously think that Will has any "real" feelings for Janelle? He is playing her....this is all a big "head" game for Will. No matter what he says to Boogie....WILL WANTS TO WIN!

They're going to start the POV at 9 PST. It will be an endurance competition. The producers are waiting until late to start and plan to keep the HG up all night (and us). I think.....
Petals - South Jersey got it worse than here (northern central), but it was windy all day with horizontal rain. Ernesto wants us to remember him. A few flickers with my power, but just enough to make my appliances lose their time settings.
ORKMommy - I'll check it out. I've had problems with uploading to Blogger images, and usually manually HTML them from FTP space. The image in my latest is a stocl logo one (from Zoetawny) that I reuse a lot. I have a bizarre fixation with having some image and not all text. ;-)

I have only just now been able to get on for the very first time today. I can't believe it, I am usually looking on Jackie's site three or four times a day. Today was a very busy day for me and my kids! Anyhoo, I do have to say, I enjoy so much reading the postings here. Ya'll are so funny and it is nice to know I am not the only severe BB addict.
Last night I was looking at the CBS website and looking at the HOH pictures. Out of 24 pictures, I think I counted that 17 of them were of Janelle and Will together. What does that mean and I wonder who took them.
I have to say, I really do think (hope)Janelle starts playing for herself. I also think that Will may want Boogie to win so that he can split the money with him, because if he wins, he has to give it all to charity. But if Boogie wins, He gets some good money! That is just a thought.
Jackie, I thank you so much for what you do. This is such a great place to be and you make it so nice. I love all of the people who regularly post on here and I guess I will just have to start watching the other shows that I don't usually watch so I can stay on this blog!
