Not a heck of a lot went on last night in the Big Brother house.
Here's the skinny:
- Mike and Erika both napped a bit, not together.
- They got a Scrabble game from Big Brother.
- Mike Boogie made tuna melts and then they played Scrabble. Woohoo.
- Erika is bored. So are we, so are we.
- Erika cried and said something about telling the Diary Room she was suicidal - she really wants out of the house.
- BB gave them a movie to watch set up in the HOH room, so all went to flame/clouds as the feeds were blocked.

Good Morning Jackie... getting ready for work so thought I'd check in, just in case something might have happened. I cancelled my live feeds, but unfortunately, since I subscribed for them at the last minute for the free 14 day trial, I still have them until the 17th. Jackie, just started watching your blog a few weeks ago and was so excited to have found it. I, (and it seems like most people) was hoping that Janelle would win if only cause she did so well at the competitions. I don't believe she was helped all that much by Chill Town. My thinking is that Will and Mike both maybe didn't put forth all that much effort into the comps most of the time because they were so cocky about their lies and plots pulling them through (which worked most of the time)and didn't study or put much physical effort into them. Maybe they were even incapable and didn't want to look bad on camera, so they just faked and boasted their way thru. It was easier to just take the credit for throwing them, and of course, it made them look good. I know there were a couple of times when they did help (towards their own benefit, of course). Any way now Mike and Erika are alone left to their own deVICES and feeling miserable. Maybe what little conscience they have left is eating at them and with no one around to feed their starving little egos, they seem to be falling apart. What goes around............Joyce

Just my opinion but I don't think this season was horrible at all! I enjoyed watching my favorites vie against each other...I especially enjoyed Will and Janelle separetly and together. True It's not ending as I would have like to have seen Will & Janelle in the final two or at least one of them but you know it's just a game and sometimes the bad guy wins. I love BB and I will watch every season they have just as I have watched all the seasons until now.

I enjoyed this season as well. It was good to see all the old characters back.. I rooted for chicken George and Janelle and Kaysar (although he really didn't seem into it this season). I am very anxious to see which of the final two misfits will win. If I had to choose, I would choose Erika because Mike is just too mean and she is going to be one very sad girl when the show is over...

Thanks for all your hard and dillegent work Jacki...One thing I have to comment on. The one and ONLY reason I will watch the final episode tomorrow night is to see everthing but who wins. I really cannot stand either one but I AM interested in seeing the other HG for one last time and to see the Q&A segment. I would like to see the lashing that both Erika and Boogie hopefully will get from the other HG especially from Janelle. Thanks again for all your blogs, I have enjoyed them and reading other peoples comments.

I get a chuckle out of thinking of Mike and Erika having had to spend 7 days alone together in utter boredom. That's the least of what they deserved. Really hate the thought of either one of them winning the money.

While I can't support a vote for eiher loser in the F2... At least if boogie wins, it will be a slap in the face lose for Erika and because of thier supposed 50/50 deal Will will get $250,000, plus if true $30,00 for making it to the Jury, plus the $2,000 per day in the house. Boogie does't get the daily or jury money plus, will have to use his money to pay taxes on all the prizes he won. Sooo, if all the money rummors are true, and Boogie dosen't screw his "best bud" and Janelle wins America's Choice. Mike and Erika may appear to be the winners of the BB title but Jannelle and Will will have won more $$$$ and maybe each other.

The only seasons of bb that I have watched prior to this was one and two. The only reason I watched this one was for chickenman and chilltown. Those three totally made the season. Although, what short time Jase was there he was pretty funny (blow up innertube song was my daughters favorite).IMHO this was the most cheesy yet entertaining one I have seen. Granted the final two may not be the ones i wanted but thats usually how it goes.

Janey was backdoored by BB, I have to wonder why that particular competition was picked, when they knew that "Ho Erika" and the "Boo" man were "more fit" Janey should get the $25,000 since she was cheated out of winning BB Allstars!! Jackie - Thanks for all the work this season. Like a bunch of others I was disappointed in the show, but for some reason I kept watching it and watching your blog! You always wonder what happened to people from prior seasons, so in many ways it was like seeing old friends again. That part I liked. I didn't like Dr Will at all in Season 2, but admittedly I watched this season because I wanted to see what he was going to do next. (So I guess I really did like him lol). Other than season 1, seems like the misfits always end up winning.
Hi Jackie, Several things came to mind as I read your post and the comments it generated.
1. Erica and Mike talked of going on the View in a conversation early on in their final twosome. So if Janelle is going too that could be interesting. Could be Janelle is going instead or all three (more like four) will be there with Rosie. I have to admit I will tape that one.
2. It is always a snoozefest with F2, but even with Maggie's and Jun's seasons (and others I have forgotten) the hgs found something to do to entertain themselves...didn't they? Or am I rewriting history ala Erica and Mike?
3. CBS usually finds a way to make some money. What is wrong with them by not using the last two hgs. Put those guys to work. We have had product placement all season. Name brands all over the house for us to see and be tempting to run out and buy. With people still watching the feed, CBS should be having M and E (never realized their intials spelled ME..) reading ad copy to the cameras. BB could sell the time twice that way.
4. I think in their own reality that Erica and Mike both feed off what other people do...Erica is a watcher and then imitates and Mike needs gofers. Both are lost when left on their own.
5. I am curious, too, about the salaries this season. I heard both $1000 a week and $2000 a week for pre-jury. Then $30,000 for jury, then the 2nd place $50,000 and 1st $500,000. Janelle said one night before she left the house that she didn't like that they had to give up their stipend if they won the game. So, does that mean if they make it to Jury that $30,000 kicks in and they don't get to keep the money made per week in the house? Either way, except for 1st, taxes will level out most of it. On the car, for example, Mike will have to pay IRS and California sales tax and get it tagged, etc.? I bet all those figures are going around in his head as he stares off into space. He is a math guy.

What a shame CBS has let the air out of BB7 by having them wait so long to finish it. It's bad enough that we're left with this pitiful Final 2, but to have them just sitting there for so long just reeks of terrible planning on the part of the network. Show us the sequester house or SOMETHING.
I know that if it were not for Jackie's blog and I only saw the broadcast, I would have lost interest a long time ago. Bad CBS, bad.

The grand finale with prize winning hasn't even taken place the Mike and Erika's 15 minutes of fame are over...actually people have forgotten BB already with the excitement of the US Open over the weekend and the start of Dancing with the Stars Tuesday in the same time slot as BB. I have a question for everyone here. Do you think the showmance/flirtmance with janelle and will just fake or do you think there was something there? Ive been watching some of the tribute videos and the way they look at each other does not seem fake at all.
Sabina, I think it started as a flirtmance, but real emotions were stirred. They were caught off-guard and not prepared for their flirtations to turn into real caring feelings.

The live feed is so dull with Mike and Erika...they are bored and boring. It would have been a lot more fun to watch with Janelle and Will who would have come up with something to entertain the viewers and themselves. Just goes to show how lacking in imagination E & M are. Will has said he loves money and Erin has 2 million...I think he'll try to sweet talk her back into a relationship. Whether of not he had feelings for Janelle, she doesn't come with a dowry and isn't the daughter of a famous ex-football player. Maybe if Janelle wins Amazing and 1 million he might give her a shot at the wonderful Dr. Will. I do think she had some feelings for him.

Just a little tidbit of info coming out of Sanfrancisco news: (note that Will is being referred to in the past tense, she HAD been dating him)
Oh, Gavin. Is it that hard to find love while running a major American city? Here's our mayor at the SF Opera opening with reality TV star Erin Brodie. (Brodie apparently created a minor stir by wearing a knee-length skirt at the traditionally white-tie event.)
Brodie, the daughter of Niner/PGA Golfer (and former Scientologist) John Brodie, made her "fame" as a two-time winner on NBC's For Love Or Money, taking home $2 million and boyfriend Chad Viggiano. Brodie most recently had been dating Will Kirby from Big Brother 2/7. She was also paired up with Darva Conger (the lady who married the multimillionaire on TV) and lost on that Game Show Network show Lingo. Well, at 33, at least Brodie's of age!
I know we are at the boring, boring end of the game (and I will be out tomorrow night and miss the Live, Anti-climactic Finale) but having read some of the live feed sites, one thing has become abundantly clear: MIKE BOOGIE NEVER WASHES HIS HANDS AFTER USING THE BATHROOM!!!
Gross for anyone -- super gross for anyone in the restaurnant business. As most of us do not go about our lives on live internet feed, I am now realizing that I have no idea how many out there are "Boogies" and how many are "Wills" (who always washed in the feeds). I'm thinking that my days of shaking hands without a bottle of Purell in my purse are OVER.

Erika was bragging that she was "jus a little gal from a town called Chill." Well it seems with the puppetmaster not in residence Chilltown is not a happenin' place to be. And uck! Mike let's hope Mike not only doesn't cook in his restaurants after not washing up after using the bathroom, but that he doesn't even shake hands with guests. Truly ugh. I agree with the Purell person. Wonder how many people are like Mike. I hear Donald Trump doesn't skake hands with "anyone" for this very reason. Wonder if Mike washes up after he visited the "jack shack." Now there's a horrow show to think about. Just jumping into the communal hot tub.
Anon 6:58 -- According to older posts, NO Mike didn't wash his hands after the jack shack. Neither did Howie. I can't believe Dani didn't make a stink about that this season. Remember when she got all over that one guy in her season for not washing his hands (Jerry??)!
I have very sensitive skin, so I can't use the industrial soap in public bathrooms. I keep anti-bacterial hand lotion with me and use that. I do rinse my hands after using the bathroom and I always feel funny when someone else is in there. Do they think I'm dirty? I can't imagine just walking out of the bathroom without making some attempt!! He's just GROSS!!
The only way the finale would be "grande" would be if CBS got Survivor host Jeff Probst to host it and to interrogate all the All Star players about their choices and strategies and lack thereof. Now that would be fun to watch. Not Chenbot who still requires cue cards to read from. And who has never asked an interesting or penetrating question. I guess there are some benefits to being married to Les Moonves. We have reaped what she sowed.

Wow...you gotta be kidding....Janelle was "cheated" by CBS....hahaha....too funny...Janelle was out-played by CT+Erika. She didn't win the HOH. She needed to. She should have voted CT out long ago, but didn't. It cost her the game.
As to if the Will/Janelle feelings are real??? Did you watch this season? Did will EVER tell the truth? No. The feelings were totally not real. He was PLAYING the game. Thats all. Will totally played her (and would have all the way, if Erika hadn't told Janelle what was going on..)
My guess is that Mike told Erika that he was going to jump off the final competition so she was not startled like Janie was. Too bad she momentarilly lost concentration. Janelle lost the other part of the competitions because the mirrors were too heavy...OH WAIT....the green lazers blinded her....OH WAIT....the car was distracting her...OH WAIT...she's scared of heights and "momentary lost concentration.."...OH WAIT..she had a momentary mental connection to Will and this distracted her and allowed Boogie to win...
Wow...I'm sure I can think of 100 excuses why Janelle lost, or Boogie won, or the reason why so and so was voted off.
The final 2 are Erika and Mike Boogie.

Anon 6:10 -- No matter what Will says right now, I'm not sure it's not all damage and image control, as he IS a doctor. Fro watching him in the house, he has been willing and may now be taking the hit for his actions in the house, and act as if he's trying to make it up to her, all the while not being too upset if she dumps him. I think he does have feelings for Janelle too... Erin would probably be a better choice in the real world, as MUCH AS I AM WATCHING ALL THE WILL AND JANELLE TRIBUTES (I admit it!!!).
(Just like Erika's option to throw the last comp to Mike so she could still look like she didn't go against her promise to Janelle to go to the final 2).
Interestingly the Erin Brodie pic of her with the mayor came out on Sept 9. I felt like she may have called in a favor to be seen on the arm of someone else in a picture that would surely make the paper just as all the talk about Will and she having to face the music would be hitting the world at large. Or she decided weeks ago that she was going to accept dates from people after watching Will go beyond gameplay... she had to have all her friends and family losing their ssense of humor about it after a few weeks, think about it! She's a beautiful girl.
BTW, Nancy in Washington... though Erin won the 2 million, you lose half to taxes, and then she split the second million with the guy (Chad) on the show, just to apologize. He and she went out for a year or two after, so I assume she kept her promise to him, so that leaves her with $750,000ish. If anything, she might have inherited or will inherit $$ from her pro dad. But why do we care, this $$ isn't an issue with WIll, I'm sure of it. I doubt he or his family is hurting for dough.
Again just another nugget of trivia....When Erin won the money she had a choice to take the full 2 million and pay taxes full bore or divide it into 40 equal payments and not lose so much to taxes. She chose option 2, so from the winnings from the show, she is hardly wealthy, I don't think that is why Will likes her.
RNO: Speaking of the challenge, have you seen the film of you taking your hand off the key?
Janelle: No I haven’t, they haven’t shown it to me. It was just a weird competition. Usually they don’t start the competition ‘til the producer comes out and gives the rules. Julie was still talking. I think my hand came off, but my hand didn’t come off when Mike jumped off, it was when Julie talking.
RNO: Just so you know, having watched it, your hand did come off after Mike jumped. That’s what we saw. Anyway, if you had won HOH, who would you have taken to the final two?
Janelle: I would have taken Erika.
RNO: Why?
Janelle: I thought I had a better chance of beating her. As much as Mike is hated, he played a better game than Erika.
RNO: How did you feel when you were evicted, only to have Julie Chen immediately start asking you about mistakes in the game?
Janelle: I made mistakes, but I still made it to the final three. Yes, I made mistakes, who knows how it could have turned out. I made it as far as I did by winning competitions and doing the best I could. The only mistake was not winning the last competition. The other mistakes were more personal mistakes. Those were not strategic mistakes.
RNO: By the way, you probably have the record for the most days in the Big Brother house, don’t you?
Janelle: Yes, they told me last night I have the records for surviving the most evictions, being nominated more than anyone, winning more vetoes, most HOHs, and most days in the house.
RNO: Do you have anything else to say to your fans?
Janelle: I love everyone who supported me from last year and this year, and thank you America – and Canada as well. And I will be on the internet after I get out of the house and be on the boards.

okay, I re-watched the volcano endurance challenge.
Somebody mentioned that Janelle didn't know it started buy
Julie said "does everyone understand the rules"
They all said YES
then she said "okay, this competition has begun"
(not direct quotes, but pretty darn close)
Janelle clearly knew the game had begun because Julie's statement could not have been more clear and Janelle said she understand the rules.
Why do people keep trying to say she got ripped off?
What Janelle isn't understanding is that she took her hand off AFTER Julie said that. It happened so fast, I just think she is confused and keeps referring to the time she took it off BEFORE the game started. She took it off twice.
Also, people have mentioned that Boogie had an advantage in round 2. Although he might have been stronger, the three rounds were divided up differently as to be fair to different types of HG's, so they had equal chances of winning each round. Maybe that was boogie's strength, Erika's was probably endurance, and Janie's was questions.
Janie won the most HOH and POV, why is it that she lost one and people are calling foul play? Perhaps I can say the 20 other ones were unfair to Will or Danielle?
I wanted Will to win, but he didn't. It doesn't mean the game was unfair.
