Into the back and forth over who should stay and who should go. Jen is wearing sunglasses which make her look like The Fly.
Julie is talking to the houseguests now. No voting yet.
Dick's mother and his son will tell the story of Dick and Daniele's estrangement later in the show.
Now the first talks in the DR about the nominees, but not the voting.
Vincent, Dick's son, is talking. He said Daniele borrowed money from him, didn't pay it back, and he didn't handle it well. She left. His mother thinks Dick (Richard) wants to be close with Daniele. Vincent is so much better looking than the pictures I saw of him. He obviously would like to see Daniele and Dick mend fences. Dick says he's there to win the half-million and his daughter back.
Julie is talking to Kail in the HOH Room. Why all men in the alliance? Basically she thinks it just happened that way.
But, first... more DR commentary on the nominees!
A segment about Eric being America's Player. He knew ahead of time, but his family didn't. His friends and family say he's been wanting to be on the show for eight years. His family booed when they viewed him chosen as he had a strategy all laid out and this might ruin his game.
America's Player was told to vote out CAROL. Eric seems like he's going to do it... "America, we vote to evict Carol."
Julie is talking to the nominees now... Amber is crying againas she talks. @@ Carol did well.
The vote... huh, going to reveal the vote without showing who voted for whom? 10 to 1, Carol is gone.
Julie showed Carol the five dollar video clip. Carol looks amazed... she didn't remember what the fight was all about. It's to the goodbye messages. Joe's is nice. All nice so far. Jessica actually said nice things. Julie said they'll reveal the lone vote to keep Carol tomorrow on The Early Show. I'd say offhand it must be Joe.
HOH Comp is Majority Rules, question booths, answer with the majority questions about their housemates. Zach is out. Dick, Daniele, Nick are out. Jameka gone. Amber gone. Jessica and Mike out. Tiebreaker - closest to correct number w/o going over... how many gallons of water held in spinning teacup?
OMG -- JEN won HOH.
The America's Player question is who to target for eviction. Who should Eric target for eviction for us? Alas, he can't target Jen. ARGH.

hi all well I just down loaded the live feeds for a first time and all I see if bb trivia.. is that supposed to happen or is it because it is thursday so they dont show them? help please!
Kenzie - They block the feeds during the live show. As long as you have the theme song and trivia, you'll be good to go when they come back on. They should be re-living the feeds at 9 PM ET after the show ends here.

How come they didn't vote live? I can't remember if they did that all of last season or if they did it after there were only a handful of people left.
Sorta angry we have to watch crierpants for another week. Maybe someone will put her up again this week with Jen.

NOOOOOOOOO!! What happened. Can I steal the anybodybutjanelle's idea and do anybodybutjen? This is awful. We thought she was all about herself last week, now she's HOH. I hope everyone has patience. I have a feeling Daniele will be nominated maybe Nick too for embarassing her.
OMG anyone but jen! The cup has a huge hole in the side!!! Will only hold a puddles worth of water! I bet everyone, including Jen, where thinking if it could hold water...a large amount. Not exactly unfair as the question was how many gallons CAN it hold.

Voting opens at the hour. Even though the show ended at like 7:56 (my time anyway) they didn't open the voting until 8:00.

I split my vote between Kail and Joe...what can I say. Can not vote for who I REALLY REALLY want gone.
Ok...I have an issue here. The rules for America's Player clearly state there's a limit of 10 votes online. I just voted for Jessica 15 times!! How is this fair? Someone with a beef or a friend of one of the houseguests can setup a looping script and keep voting for one person. How is that America's Choice? I'm pretty disappointed with the producers already this year!

Several other blog sites have noted that Jen revealed to Eric that she already won HOH. I'm guessing the producers gave her the questions in the DR. If Eric wasn't AP (and who cares anyway) I would oust her especially to Dick.

I hope Eric can convince Jen to nominate Joe And Jessica but I wouldn't count on it.
I'm beginning to think Jen is a robot possibly put together by Boogie. She has the oddest reactions to almost everything. Her comments and replies to others comments (such as Julie's) just don't make sense. I can only imagine what this week will bring with Ms Clueless in charge. OMG! Maybe Dr. Will created his own Frankenstein. That would make Boogie Igor.
I say Dick for sure will be on the block, I'm not sure if Nick, Joe, or Daniele will be next to him.

I have a question. Was the question (the one before the tie breaker about the teacup) about walking the elderly lady across the street some sort of tie breaker also? 2 people answered "A" and 2 people answered "B." Shouldn't 2 people have been eliminated at that point? All I heard Julie say was "hmm, split down the middle." Or something to that point. Am I stupid and did I miss something? Or was that HoH comp. given to Jen by the producers? If that's the case then this isn't a reality TV show after all.

Carrie - I saw it and dismissed it. They asked her a lot of questions about Carol in the DR. She thought she did very well and thought the comp would be all questions about Carol. It wasn't. I personally think it's just coincidence that Jen won. Of course, there will be grassy knolls every season! :-)
Shawna - At the beginning of the comp, Julie said that any tie answers will be "split down the middle" with nobody getting eliminated. Since it was 2 to 2 they moved on.
orkmommy - thanks for clarifying. I got my panties in a wad too soon. I was stupid and missed the part where she said that. I don't really care if Jen is HoH, because I want Joe (please not Dick) out next. But I just wanted to make sure it was all fair and game. And it was. Thanks again for clarifying, orkmommy.

Oh PUKE,now we have to watch STOOPID is as STOOPID does all next week! I think she just put a low number because that's as high as she can count! I cannot believe the stupid things that come out of her mouth,like when Julie asked her a ? at the start of the show and she said she had nothing "prepared"....WTF???
I think she will probably put Dick up,for sure and maybe Daniele,maybe Nick(for spurning her)or Joe(for calling her out for lying).I think she is jealous of Daniele.And I am sure Jessica and Amber and Kail will be reapplying their lip gloss after kissing her "enormous" butt(hanging out of that attrocious bikini)until the noms are made.
I am more irritated by CBS' assertion that we are voting for whom Eric should convince Jen to nominate for. CBS makes it sound like it is a given that Eric can/will convince Jen to nominate whom we want. WTH??? She is going to do what she wants, he can't MAKE her nominate anyone. Good grief, this America's Player is a bunch of C R A P!!! To say the very least.
Ugh the last person I wanted to see win HOH actually won!!! I'm almost positive Evel Dick is going to go up but I am hoping Joe and Jessica will be nominated simply because I can't stand either one. Sad to see Carol leave but I'm glad Amber stayed (the constant crying/doing this for her family) might get old fast. Leene

Couldn't believe how personal the HOH Comp questions were. And I bet Dick is going to get major payback from Jen at nomination time. I don't want Dick to go! She will either putheand Danielle up, or Nick and Danielle to get back at them for flirting. But she will probably do the first to do maximum damage to Dick and keep Nick around for future flirting... that is assuming she can THINK, which may be a mistake on my part!
Don't really like Amber but with her staying over Carol we will keep a person who I think can at least PLAY the game.
Jen is HOH!!! Wicked cool! I hope Dick, Nick, and Danielle's heads blow right off their shoulders in frustration. I do not know why everybody in and out of the house keeps trashing Jen. She is no lamer than the rest of these yahoos and obviously she's smarter than some by virtue of her teacup/water answer. Deal with it people!
Ok, was I thinking like everyone else ? My car holds about 13 gallons, & the gas tank is this big, so that tea cup would hold, what ? 100 gallons ? 200 gallons ?? Looks like the last contestants thought that way, but Jen said 47? where did that come from, was she strategizing, & thinking everyone would guess too high, so she would guess low ? or did she really think the tea cup would hold 47 gallons ?? I think she picked her 2 favorite numbers, 4 and 7 & wrote them down !! Good think the answers were A & B, if they added C, she would have really been confused ? What a ditz !! I can't wait to hear how she strategizes who to put on the block !!

orkmommy & lesa: if no one has answered yet, I'm guessing that they filter out by IP address or something and once they see 10 votes from your address, the rest are ignored. I'm betting that I'm not the only person who wrote a script to vote Kaysar back into the house in season 6, since there was no mention of voting limits back then ;)
How can the producers of Big Brother 8 not hand down some type of punishment to "DICK" for his purposefull injury of another houseguest in last Thursdays show? If this is their idea of fair play, then I will have to change my viewing choices.
