As always, please forgive any typos or misspellings as I type this off the cuff as I watch the show. If you've ever typed with your wrists, you know how hard it can be!
The show has started here. Recapping, but of course. Dick once again tells us that he'll make the others hate him so he'll go home instead of Daniele. He gieves her advice about the others and feels she has a better chance of going forward than he will. Now a bit of schmaltzy father/daughter musings from Dick.
Jen makes herself at home in the HOH room and Jessica thinks she's trying to play both sides.
Dick works on getting "the five" to despise him. Rock music plays. He has a pan lid and spoon awakening Dustin and Amber. I believe Amber just became a true zombie. They toned it down a bit in editing and parts of it are actually funny on the show.
Veto player picking time -- Jessica picks Jameka, Dick praises the lord. Daniele chose Dustin. Dick chose Zach. Eric will be the host. (Praise the lord it isn't Amber!)
The players were separated, then called to the backyard one by one. Drinking concoctions and croquet. Wicked Wickets Forest. The number of stations completed are determined by the amount of shots drank. Jessica has problems with chunks. I don't think that's something I needed that much detail on. Dustin is really going for it. Zach is reminding me of Rudy going through the forest in Survivor -- "I don't know." Dick is a champ, drinking them all. Jessica's not doing too well.
I would be horrible at this contest! The shots taken listed and croquet playing.
Zach gets three strokes, 3 points. Jameka got four shots, 10 points. Jessica got five shots, 17 points. Daniele gets 7 shots, 20 points. Dustin gets 10 shots, 32 points. It's Dick with 10 shots. He gets 33 points! He wins!
Rock music plays.
Dick is gloating. The others run and hide once again. Jameka and Daniele have a run in. Daniele runs to the HOH room crying about how tired she is of being blamed for what her father does. "No one will look at me!" Everyone's there except Dick. Jameka screams that she never made an effort to know them.
It's a brouhaha, folks. It truly is.
Daniele admits to us it was strategy, although it is hwat she's feeling, too.
Dick and Daniele meet. Daniele doesn't want the others to know it's all a plan to keep her in. Now she's whining about how much she hates it there and it sucks all over again.
Before commercial she tells us that her father is the only one she doesn't want to see evicted and that's not how she felt coming into the game.
Now Jessica, Eric and Dustin are talking about Dustin going up as a pawn. Eric tells us he's thrilled that Dustin is going to do "America's dirty work." Dustin is cocky and sure he'll win by a landslide.
America's Player -- Eric has to give the silent treatment to Jessica. He decides the best way to accomplish it is to hide in bed. Jen tells Jessica that Dustin has a deal with Evel.
Eric failed the task.
Jessica thought more about the deal Jen said Dustin has, then worried that Eric was in on it because he wouldn't talk to her. (But he did briefly, thus the fail.) Oh, woe is me. What should I do?
Dick has a plan. He would give his life for his daughter. He's happy that it's his decision. His speech: he gives Daniele her chance to speak. "Whatever you decide is good." He says he decided not to use the veto ... on himself. Daniele comes off the block today.
She puts Dustin on the block.
Oh... with his DR session for us, Dustin has to go! Dick reminds us that often the pawn goes home. Jessica is whiny.
Amber didn't cry.
Jameka cries.

The music BB plays for Zach and for the God girls is funny, but it bothers me a bit that they do that.

I just read Daniele's HOH Diary. Did anyone else notice that her message to Nick was about 3 times as long as the message to her boyfriend. If that guy sticks with her after this, he's insane and deserves what he gets. I hope he's a better person than that!

Now that I'm commenting again, I must say that the editing of Eric is sickening! CBS wants him to appear like a nice guy, and he is going to win our RESPECT...don't make me puke. Oh,so Eric's way of working hard for us and gaining our respect was to play sick and then still weinie out within two seconds of Jess walking into the room??? I LOVED that we got the desired effect though and she's questioning him AND Dustbin. Way to go,Jen,for planting that little seed!

I think America is split on this one. and will probaly bet the most voted on. I think Dick will be evicted. And as for eric as he pointed out earlier while in HOH, he has a feeling that his popularity has been brought way down lately, he has also pointed this out before. I really like him and Jessica, but they feel in with the wrong side, but for them to make it further they need to keep dustin 2 more weeks.

You are right and I stand corrected. I try everyday to work on my temper and I was angry when I watched tonight's show.
However, my bad behavior doesn't excuse Dick's.
Some people may not remember what its like to be bullied and talked about. Some of you may have never had to face people like Dick, but I have. I know what it's like to be around a verbally abusive personal like him. It's hard.
He's verbally abusive.
I don't see how anyone can support him who has been in a verbally abusive relationship. I certainly can't.
And I really wanted to like him. He was my favorite character until a few weeks ago.

To Anybodybut...I too was verbally abused and bullied. But you have two choices.
1.You can go thru life being weak and bullied like the abuser wants you to, and/or pick on others, bullying them.
Or 2. get over it, grow up and fight back with words of your own. When you show the abuser that you can also give as well as get, they back down. Works every time! Generally those that verbally or even physcially abuse have themselves been abused at one time. This is the way they handle their abuse. Some of us choose to put a stop to it, let our abusers know they can't do it, and then move on with life being a better person.
I think Jen knows this and chooses to ignore, or say something right back. Notice how Dick backed off from her? The others may go off, but then they either further antagonize, or run off to hide in the HOH. If they would stand up to him each and every time, he'd back down.

by the way Anybodybut...not picking on you or anything. just saying there are reasons people act like they do. I agree with you, I started off the season really rooting for Dick. But then I felt he was crossing the line way too much with some of his language and his comments.
I do however still try to look deeper than the surface, yes even under the tattoos, and wild hair, and painted fingernails,lol to see the real person underneath.
Dick does seem to have a heart. He may not be the best parent, but I think he is being the best parent HE knows how to be. We don't know anything about his background either to see why he chose the lifestyle he did.
Too many people take a look at the surface of a person and judge from that. There is no one in this world who is perfect. Everyone has faults. Some more visible than others.I myself try to overlook the faults and focus on the good things about a person.

I looked at the poll results for America's favorite player and I noticed that Amber is only slightly ahead of Mike who's been gone at least three weeks and is substantially behind Nick who's been gone for two weeks now. TOO FUNNY.
Did I miss something? I am worried that America is going to choose Dustin to be evicted. I don't understand why??? Are the people voting just wanting to shake things up, and not concerned about Eric staying in the game? Or do people really hate Dustin? And do you really see the LNC as the nerd herd? I like the LNC remainders, except for Amber.
I started off not liking Jen, but I think underneath she is a very likable person.
Danielle is young and does have a lot of growing to do. But lets be honest, that girl has gone thru a lot evidently with hers & her fathers relationship.
I try to look deeper with the others, but since they all do nothing but sit around judging and backstabbing and gossiping, it's hard to see what's inside of them other than hatred or "self appreciation".
Dustin does act like he's a "queen". And no, I'm not anti-gay. I do know and am close to a lot of gays, but they don't act like him.
Amber, well we all know she's totally hung up on herself. And she "loves" everyone, then runs and downs them behind their back.
Jameka keeps pushing her religon down our throats, but come on...no true Christian has a mouth on them like that. Yes Christians slip up, but try to control themselves and try hard not to repeat an unchristian like action. That "f" word just flows much too freely from her mouth. The hatred comes way too easy for her too.
Eric too is a hard one to get to know. I began the season liking him, but I don't know if he started becoming the weasle he is because of him being AP and trying to save himself because of his "missions", or if he's just a weasle, period. And his incest comments are a bit too much. Makes me wonder if he's a victim of incest, or if he himself is guilty of incest. A lot of people will try to accuse someone else of actions that they themselves are guilty of. Eric is a strange one.
Zach seems a bit on the strange side, but I do feel sorry for him in a way, and also like him for some reason too.
I have no problems with Jess other than she needs to remember this is a game and people are going to play her and tell her what they want her to believe.
WEll America....I hope you all voted for Dustin to go home...I cant wait to see the shock looked onEric's face and I hope he can get Jen and Daniele and Zach on board.
Odd thing...the cbs site let me keep voting past 10, then I got scared that it wouldnt count at least the ten...oh well we shall see

I can't believe that D/D are so popular. Daniele is extremely whiny, and has displayed absolutely no game skills. Dick IS abusive and that totally turns me off, & I was especially appalled at the tea incident.
I did like Dick in the beginning as well. He is a great manipulator but he crosses the line. It seems that everyone values honesty over basic human behavior. But I doubt anyone has won this game without lying.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Dick is going home this week due to AP. I think AP should be done with. Eric should "out" himself. I think AP would work better if America could choose who the AP was after a couple of weeks in the house.
Jameka stood up to Dick, i don't care how she did it but she did, unlike some HGs i can name. He pushes ppls buttons, he finds their weak spot and uses it. She found his sore spot and did the same and all of a sudden she is the devil? He called Amber a bad mother and said her child will be messed up and mocked Jameka's religion....it's all hitting below the belt, after that anything is fair game. Enough of the double standards.

I'm really glad that people are talking to Zack now. I know that Jess was just using him to get him on her side when she went on her date with him but at least she talked to him...Acted like he mattered. I like Zack best as far as I can remember he hasn't really done anything to anyone other than Carol when he called her his little lapdop.
The reason that I and a lot of people don't like Dustin is because of the way he acts. He has all kinds of nasty things to say about people when they're not in the room but is sweet as sugar when he's facing them. The same goes for Eric. Yeah, Dick crossed the line when he jumped all over Jameka and Amber but they put themselves in that position by sticking to him like white on rice so he let them have it. He also had a reason for doing it...He was trying to make them hate him and save Daniele not that he needed to because they hated him anyway. Eric had no strategic reason for saying that he thought he would walk in on Dick and Daniele having sex in sequester.
Amber is a bigot who doesn't like Jewish people and if you don't believe that all you have to do is go to Youtube and watch her be one. The person she told her bigotry to was Jameka the Christian. Not only did Jameka not explain to her why bigotry against everyone is wrong but she also failed to inform Amber the other so-called Christian in the house that practically everyone in the Bible both old and new is a jew, including Jesus. Amber went on to state about how all Jewish people were selfish and money hungry but of course, Jesus died on the cross for her sins only did it because he was selfish. I don't know about the rest of you but I'm offended by self-righteous idiots who proclaim to be Christains but who don't act like Christains. In my book, real Christains don't have to run around telling everyone that they are Christians, you can tell by the way they act.
As for Dani, she gets on my nerves with the whining too but then again she's only twenty years old. Jess is only a little older. I tend to cut both of them a little slack on that account. They're both in over their heads and are doing the best they can. The one thing you should know is that people in that house have on occasion attacked Dani for nothing she did to them. Jen attacked her because Nick liked Dani better than he liked her for example.
So that's why I'm rooting for Zack. He's the underdog that no one would even lower themselves to talk to for a couple of weeks. Besides he was cute in the Bunny costume.
I will respect Jackie's rules...no bitching about individual bloggers, but I do wish all anon bloggers would at least sign off with some kind of handle.
IMHO, Dick has pissed me off numerous times with his mouth, that's a given,however, when he is wrong, he admits it. His tirades are planned for the most part, and very well executed! He knows how to push buttons. This is a GAME, where deception plays a huge part.
Because he is so very very vocal, people in here think he is abusing the other HG's. I think he is abusive, but not to the point of eviction. One must stand tall and proud, if he was doing the same to me, do not doubt for one moment I would cower to it.
Some call it Dicks hate speech, but when Jameka called his Mom a bitch...was that said in a loving Christian manner? When Amber bashed the Jews...was that her loving Christian way?
IMHO, most here don't have the live feeds or check out Jackies awesome (and for the most part, unbiased), reports on the feeds. I truly believe if they did they would see why Jameka is a hypocrite, Eric is a weasel( though you never know it with the editing), Amber is a nut job,and Dustin is a back stabber.
I do want to see Dustin gone Thursday, and I make no apologies for it. Mark my words....the remaining LNC will soon be eating each other alive...in primetime on CBS, three times a week.

I just have to say that Dick's "wake-up call" was BRILLIANT! I know it was edited & there were stronger words used, but it was one of the best moments I've seen on BB. His plan to piss people off, rattle their cages and deflect their hatred off of Daniele and onto him is great!

It appears that most people were voting to have Eric vote to evict Dustin. Why anyone would want to continue to listen to the crap coming out of Dick's mouth is incredible to me. And before anybody comes back and tells me what Eric said, remember, if Dick didn't crudely, verbally attack everyone all the time, Eric would have had no reason to be crude back. Not saying there wouldn't be any negative comments in the house, but perhaps they would be toned down if Dick wasn't there. That's my opinion and I'm stickin' to it!!!
Someone mentioned this earlier so I'll give my opinion on this too...I believe the reason Dick hasn't attacked Jessica in anyway is because in the beginning he was saying he wanted to introduce her to his son...maybe he still has that in mind.
And as I've said previously:

The house is on the CBS studio lots in the Los Angeles area. It's not in a regular neighborhood. ;-)
