'Big Brother 8' - Video Update
I caught the reactions of Dick, Bunny Zach and Daniele as Amber screamed at Eric. Do you think she may have blown the "let's keep Eric going home a secret" bit?

Amber is basically attempting to back peddle perhaps feeling some what guilty in regards to having sworn on her daughters life. I have always found this tactic ( I swear on my so and so's life )isn't a truthful playing game mode regardless,HMMMmmm I'm leery if in indeed it wasn't stated loudly primarily for Dicks benefit, or perhaps Dustin has indicated to Amber he'll have to toss her in river without life jacket, I'm at a HMMMMM it was conveniently placed. Anyway, I have to say that I think this whole thing (AP) was unfair to Eric. He's not really my favorite or anything but it really has put him in an untenable position. He's not allowed to say what was really going on so all he can do is his best to justify his actions that were at the voter's behest (that would be us, oooops).
Is it really so much to ask that Kail finally go home? Apparently it is. I'm gonna be one unhappy camper when she slips through to the end. :(

Thanks for posting the video, Jackie. I don't even know what to say about Amber's tirade. I'm still shaking my head at how the houseguests deal with emotional issues. I'm not sure about what tom said...purposely loud for ED's sake. Amber was so out of control was she even thinking about others hearing her? Too bad Amber is still there. I've been irriated by her personality since the first episode.

I'm actually beginning to think that if Eric gets voted out it might be for the best. $500,000 isn't enough money to have to put up with that mad woman (along with the rest of the nutcases) for another month or so.
Sasha...No, it's not just you. The HGs are "more nuts than usual". None of them have an interesting dynamic personality so all we get to see is their dysfunction.

My mother and brother are mentally ill with schizo-affective (schiz AND bipolar) disorder. I wasn't sure it was possible, but Amber is way beyond what their troubles are...she has a personality disorder that will take YEARS of therapy to even touch. She's simply off her rocker...she's beyond chemical treatment.
Do people really yell like that at almost strangers? S-C-A-R-Y. I know what he did was crude, but she's the one who told a stranger her very personal stories to begin with!!
I'll just stay holed up in my little condo and as far away from her as possible. I'm glad LV is far away from CT! ~SharonS
Glad Amber will be in the house or in sequester when I am in Vegas in 2 weeks. If I go to Casear's I would not want to run into her!!! IMAO PS I bet I could make her---CRY!!!
I liked how when Danille had Zach up in her room for a chat and she had to point out that "everyone is being nice to you NOW Zach when before no one would even talk to you!"
Let me get this straight, she was yelling at Eric because he voted Nick out? Who was the first one to jump the gun and tell Dustin that Nick HAD to go last week? I believe it was Amber! I think everyone is feeling guilty for voting Nick out and they're all taking it out on Eric, it's BS. Eric does not deserve what Amber just dealt him.
I agree with Karen, it would probably be best for Eric to get voted out this week than to stay in that psycho ward!
I'm impressed..... Amber can multi-task!!! Scream, yell and cry ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!! Oh, mother of Amber, you must be soooo proud. I truly hope her family is planning an intervention for her when she gets done with BB. SHE NEEDS HELP!!!!!! I watch it to LAUGH, not get depressed. Years past, I used to pay the big bucks for the live feeds since I could stay up all night.... thanks goodness I haven't wasted my life doing that this year.

The thing I don't understand is-- you strive to get on the show, you get to take the whole summer off and lounge around by the pool, sleep or work-out when you want, or eat & drink to your heart's delight (if you're not on slop), meet new people you can devise fun devious plans with, sit around in the hot tub, tell stories, make-up entertaining lies about yourself, BASICALLY HAVE A TON OF FUN and maybe even MAKE A TON OF MONEY.... not to mention perhaps gaining a bit of celebrity-- your own "15 Minutes" so to speak.
So what is the problem with these weirdos?
They act like they've been sentenced to prison; I do not understand their complete misery AT ALL. I've watched some of the British Big Brother a couple years; those folks know how to have fun.
My new fave in the house, can't believe I'm saying this-- JESSICA. She has been nothing but civil and a logical thinker. I'll be surprised if CBS even has a BB9 next year. Oh, well. Heavy sigh....

It'd be so great if Eric (like Jen) could totally let this stuff roll off his back and keep being the humorous goofball he's been in the house (after he quit swearing the entire first week) while DIck and others are trying to rattle him. But that's way to easy to say as infintesimaldick spews toxicity.
Was just reading Jokers and it is sad...Eric keeps saying he did not do those things. Problem is, he is right. We DID them!!! Kind of heart-breaking having a meltdown and we all directed it, not him. Wonder if BB will have an AP ever again?
Still wonder what is up Dustin's sleeve? He keeps telling Jess and Amber to stay their votes for Kail and let him vote for Eric. Dustin can blindside the vote by voting for Kail. Hence Eric stays!!! Anyone else getting that vibe???

I can't help wondering if both Dick and Jen are Chilltown. Looking back on it, Dick was so over the top with Jen and Jen so unaffected (and unlikeable in the beginning) I wonder if it has been an act from Day One.
In any case, I do think Dick has made some mistakes and has gone over the top. Hope he cools it a little. Also like Eric. There is at least some personality with the two of them as opposed to others who dwell in silence (Jessica--although perhaps smart), tears (Amber--as looney as they come), prayers (of course Jameka--as hypocritical as they come) and self pity (Kail, and perhaps Danielle). Dustin is somewhat likeable, perhaps a weasel, but at least a player--can't believe he is falling under Dick's spell though.
In any case, I love Big Brother and I hope this season isn't such a bust that it becomes the last.
(I think that if Dick leaves, he will be brought back--America's Choice, ala Kayser--just for some excitement.)
Also curious that there was mention of more camera time in the sequester house--maybe because the BB house will be too boring to sustain the audience.

Nice to see Amber stand up on her own a bit. After she told Eric her secret(yes it was on TV, but she told it to him, not the house), he in turn told others. She swore on her daughters life to keep him in the house and he stabbed that knife in her back... She would be justified if she smacked him across the face. His behavior in the "hot seat" proved to me his true character.YUCK!
I couldn't feel the least bit sorry for the guy. For every five tasks completed he receives $10,000... Not bad compared to the other HG's who receive $750 a week. Also, I liked him until he was in the hot seat this week and the vile way he talked of D&D and threatened to use Amber's secrets until Jess frowned upon it.
I'm hoping Eric is gone tomorrow right along with BB's bad idea...
Hey, cut Tom a break about his English. I think he said before that it's not his first language. And if he's using an online translator, it can spit out some garbled sentences.

Does anyone stop to think that loonytunes Amber actualyy forgot the cameras were on when she confided her secrets to Eric? AND doesn't it bother any of you that Amber thought she was talking to someone she could trust? Eric pretended he was someone she could trust, then laughed about it, "forced" Jessica to drag it out of him, and only didn't go through with his threat to use it against her because Jessica (who has some morals) told him he couldn't do that. Only then he backed off. Not to mention the utterly disgusting remark about Dick and his daughter. I don't care about the AP thing being unfair anymore. Any mind that thinks the way his does is disgustingly perverse. His "personal attacks" are cruel.

I couldn't feel the least bit sorry for the guy. For every five tasks completed he receives $10,000... Not bad compared to the other HG's who receive $750 a week. Also, I liked him until he was in the hot seat this week and the vile way he talked of D&D and threatened to use Amber's secrets until Jess frowned upon it.
I'm hoping Eric is gone tomorrow right along with BB's bad idea...

At least he has an excuse. I'm not sure what Kail's native language is, but her brain-to-mouth translator is definitely on the fritz.

Does anyone stop to think that loonytunes Amber actualyy forgot the cameras were on when she confided her secrets to Eric? AND doesn't it bother any of you that Amber thought she was talking to someone she could trust? Eric pretended he was someone she could trust, then laughed about it, "forced" Jessica to drag it out of him, and only didn't go through with his threat to use it against her because Jessica (who has some morals) told him he couldn't do that. Only then he backed off. Not to mention the utterly disgusting remark about Dick and his daughter. I don't care about the AP thing being unfair anymore. Any mind that thinks the way his does is disgustingly perverse. His "personal attacks" are cruel.
