'Celebrity Apprentice' - East Coast Update - 2/07

This is a real quick update --

Stephen Baldwin went to the women's team.

Hydra won again.

Omarosa was the PM. She brought Marilu Henner and Nely Galan to the boardroom. Trump finally got his way and fired Nely.

Omarosa is a little shaken after that showdown. Now Marylou knows for sure how little she can trust O. That whole bridal idea was O's and she was trying to blame everyone else for its failure, as always. Even the Donald seems disappointed in her. Maybe he'll tire of his muse and send her packing next week. One can hope.

Yes, oh yes, one can hope. This was the perfect week to get rid of Omarosa, but the ladies didn't go after her... I think they should have, but oh well. What do I know? They do seem overly loyal to each other, almost to a fault. Come on people, you are fighting your own individual charity.

The men, like Piers or not, are more cohesive, have more fun on tasks, and generally just wipe the floor with the women. I guess it's a male vs. female thing and maybe the men are more focused, whereas the women are all over the place. Omarosa and the women did not think outside the box tonight.

Once again, Trace Adkins came up with a brilliant slogan and jumping off point. Who better to do that than a guy who makes his living selling romance, or romance gone wrong songs?

The men totally deserved this win, and my boy Trace is looking stronger and stronger for a win at the end.

Funny how I jumped from a super 70's rocker to a now days Country star, LOL. Omarosa deserved to go tonight, but Trump really has been waiting to fire Nely.

Trump is an ass. He thinks O has entertainment value? The show is rigged. I am over it.

I forgot this was on and I didn't tape it. I am so glad Nely is gone though. She has irritated me from Day 1.

hey...has everybody given up on Dance Wars? I'm not surprised if it's so,I think it is a real stinker. I watch just to see how really bad they can be week after week. They never seem to improve and it's a joke that Carrie Ann keeps winning.

Sharon, I am still watching DWars, but what is there to comment on?!?
Supposedly one person wins, but with all the gang singing and dancing hard to pick someone we would root for! This show will/would be forgotten if other channels had something other than reruns! It seems so long since regular shows were on that I even forget what was in that time frame!!! :-(

With Jackie's TVSquad article about Animal Planet..there is a new Orangutan Island tonight at 9p followed by an hour of a new show, "Escape to Chimp Eden", per the aoltvlisting here is description...
"Josephine: Race for Life"
Eugene races against time to rescue a chimpanzee fated to be euthanized by her owners; two baby chimps are discovered in appalling circumstances.

Sounds brutal, but I will check this out.

It was a nice surprise to see George back on the Apprentice, last night. Hey Donald, only one kid per week PLEASE!

I think Omarosa would have been gone if she'd stuck with her plan to bring Stephen in because he wasn't there for part of the challenge because of a prior obligation.

I took Dance wars off the TIVO season pass last night after watching my taped version. Sorry, it's just too long and hard to watch!

Hi!

I gave up on Dance Wars after the second week... Just could not do it.

O has to go! I was so over her during her seaon, and she is nothing more than a D list wanna be getting a second 15 minutes... Shame on the Donald for facilitating this nightmare.

I am also picking Trace for the W at this point! Who woulda thunk it??? :)

I hate to say it but I saw some competence in Omorosa this week during the task. It also looks to me in that her teammates don't HATE her.

That said, I'm hoping Carol Alt pulls it out and gets the women's team going. The fact that they've lost consistantly to the men is humiliating as an example of men vs. women in general.

I'm amazed at Trace's idea again... good for him. Of the mens team I'd like to see him win.

It's a shame because seeing the women's window and Vera's reaction I thought, just like O did that they had it in the bag. When I first saw the men's side I wasn't too sure, but as they showed every element... from the slogan, ending with that Cleo and Anthony were using modern technology as well, I thought "Now, that's really clever" and sure enough they won.

But it's making for a GOOD apprentice, as I haven't watched the last 2 seasons at all. :-D

PS:I think Trump just wanted to fire Nely on past weeks and didn't have the chance. It seemed so obvious that he fired her for nothing. If anyone should have gone, if not Omorosa it should have been Marilu (at least for how they edited her to look at work with the construction crew --but then again, why didn't Omorosa step in to get it going if she was lagging?) before NEly.
