His mentality this whole game was to rally up a pack wolves while being the alpha dog. The only problem is that by positioning himself as such the sole leader if he falls so do the rest. If he gets evicted. Jordan and Adam are right behind. That was the point of Dani's speech. Adam was so dumb for being Jeff's lap dog instead of banding together with the others.

Has anyone noticed that whenever there are strong players from the get go, the "floaters" almost become completely different people once the dominant players go. They don't get a chance to do a thing when the few strong ones are there. And IF you come on strong in the beginning, you get voted out before the end. So maybe floating isn't so bad after all..

Finding a shoe in those plastic balls is hard, believe me. When our grandson was around three we took him to Burger King for breakfast. We let him go into the ball cage after we ate. There was a sign that said no adults, please. Patrick lost his shoe in there and became so upset. I had to crawl in there and find it. I disagree with this comment and Jeff's comment about everyone finally waking up. Let's keep in mind that BB unfairly put a bunch of newbies with not just veterans, but really good veterans. A lot of the hgs are just naturally coming into their own. That normally happens around this time.

Joe: except, of course, it wasn't "random" -- it was a competition to see who could find something in a pit the fastest and return it to the starting point. Jeff's strategy backfired -- as you can see if you watch a replay, his "let's throw all the balls in the air" strategy threw one of his yellow clown shoes out of his pit to camera left.
He had a strategy, it just failed. It's not nearly as random as "The Amazing Race" and its famous "find a clue in a round bale of hay" challenge, because the area was more confined. Athleticism had more to do with it than luck, but luck always plays a part. Just like it does in endurance (did you wear the right clothes?), or competitions like giant golf or dizzy dummy or "get one ball for each evicted houseguest and get it into a hole before your opponent or you stay evicted."
Some physicality, some luck. If it were all mental, Jeff would never win an HOH (did he ever win a mental one?). If it were all physical jock stuff, Jeff would win all of them. it was not "random" in any meaningful sense of the word, other than different placement of shoes in each pit so no one could share information (but you don't even know if the shoes were placed "randomly" or just hidden in different places.)
Your view seems to be that if Porsche could win the competition, then the competition must have been flawed. I would disagree.
I agree with you Ork. Why would Jordan think everyone was against them? They've been coasting most of the summer with only Dani as the thorn in their side. To claim it was them against the world seems a little ridiculous.

Not sure Shelly can win...she won't get JJ vote or BR and most likely Adam since she has been exposed. I think that is part of Jordan's hurt as she looked at Shelly like a mom only to uncover a snake. Adam and a house filled with women.let the spats begin.
Can't believe that Shelly turned out to be the largest snake in the grass. Especially after Jordan gave her the phone call from home. What a great lesson to her daughter on how to get ahead.
I also have no horse in this race, in fact I kind of like both Dani & Jeff.(Real Players) Good thing this is a 'game' because if it was a 'true sport' imo the 3 best 'competitors' are now in the jury house. None of the rest really deserve it. For me I believe it's going to get boring/predictable now. One of them is going to 'luck' into it but it is what it is! Anybody but Shelly.

I said it once. I'll say it again. Kalia all the way.... Though Rachel does have a good chance of winning HOH and Jordan can be a tough competitor when she wants, but the odds are against them. Porshe is a pretty decent competitor and Kalia has proved herself with the mental comps.
If they can just manage to evict Rachel a newb has a good chance of winning it all and my bets on Kalia.

@Matt I didn't say the comp was flawed. I said it was random. I stand by that. It is like finding the needle in the hay on TAR. That it is a smaller hay stack doesn't change anything. I never said it was unfair. It is just a somewhat random comp. If you put your hand on the shoes quickly, you win.
I'm not sure why you equate random with unfair. The lottery is random, that doesn't make it unfair. Prize wheels are random, that doesn't make it unfair.
I called it random and I insist the result proves it. But when I called it random it wasn't a complaint that it was unfair, just an observation that anyone could win it. That, in fact, it favored no one.
I dare say if you look up "random" in the dictionary, there is a picture of a shoe in a bin of balls.

Really hated to see Dani & Jeff evicted, would rather it been Rachel & Porsche.
