Hamster watchers ready? Maybe there will be an eviction, maybe not.
Well, Julie isn't wearing blue jeans. We head into the recap.
Julie calls this one of the most explosive weeks in the history of the game.
But, first ... Paul's telling Jessica that Cody initially wanted Alex and Jason in the house to vote out Jessica and Raven. She talks to Matt. Matt refused to answer her. She goes to Cody about it. Cody denies ever having an alliance with Alex and Jason. The show cuts to the clip of early game with him saying it to Matt. Cody's face twitches and he runs off.
Paul tells his bunch, including the part of Alex out to Alex. He has no intentions of sending Alex out. He tells Elena and Mark, but doesn't tell them that Alex won't really go out. He tells Jessica her two weeks of safety and Alex out is a deal so she won't use the hex.
She goes to Cody. He says he's done. She wants to know done with the game or done with her.
Jessica talks to Paul's peeps and tells of the deal.
Veto Meeting time. Since Jason is a third nominee, no replacement for him.
Jason -- Talks about poor game play and social game of Cody and Jessica
Jessica -- World peace.
Cody -- I have no speech.
Paul saves Jason.
Now there are kerfuffles going around. Jessica has words with Elena. Cody questions Raven's motives. Jessica thinks everyone is lying to her.Now Jessica says the deal is off, mainly because Raven was talking to Kevin and Jason. Now Raven's crying and goes to Paul.
Paul goes to talk to Jessica and Cody. Jessica claims Paul is playing a psychological game with people. She tells Paul she will use the temptation and Cody is the only one whe she can trust.
Paul tells his peeps "game's on." Ready for the chaos?
Paul hints to his people that they have to play the game of Big Brother. He instigates them. Josh goes into his circus theme pans routine with Jess and Cody.
It then goes to Alex yelling that Jessica stole her cat ears. Cat fight with the girls! Cat fight!
In the living room ... Jessica uses the Hex. The eviction is stopped and no one is leaving the house. Julie makes it clear the power was for one eviction.
Time for the HoH comp. Paul cannot complete. Tonight begins BB Horror Week, Graveyard Golf. Everyone takes a shot. There are numbered bins at the end. The highest score wins.
Matt - 6
Alex - 2
Mark - 15
Jason - 15
Cody - 21
Christmas - 21
Elena - 13
Jessica - 2
Josh - 23
Raven - 18
Kevin - 6 ?

Jackie, do you think america really gave jessica the halting hex, or was it production?
Judi, it was one of those really random comps that could be won by anyone.
It's not like it took any special talent/memory or extra strength/stamina to win.
All it took was having the ball roll/bounce off one of the blocks to one of the higher numbered holes and Josh got lucky. Kind of like playing the slot machines in Vegas! LOL
Apologies for gloating earlier about Josh's win. I know how painful it can be to be backing the wrong horse in this game. It was pretty uncomfortable for me when Cody was in the lead.
Anon 12:15AM,I believe the fix was in somehow for Jess to get that hex. Their were at least 3 other players ahead of her at Jokers, including Kevin. No one will ever convince me that she got more votes than Kevin who was at the top since Day 14.
I just got finished watching BB and the guy who announced the halting hex was creepy and hilarious! LOLOLOL
The house is going to be a nightmare for the rest of the week until eviction day. Josh, Josh, Josh.....
If I were Jessica and Cody, I would not play in the Temptation Competition. However, yes, one would be safe and the HOH would have to put up another person. Then the other person can try hard to win the Veto. Wouldn't that be great? LOL
I'm shocked Josh won, but he did well. I'll watch, but only because I want to see Jody blow it out of the water. I just can't dislike them. But, I do know they will not survive in this house. They'll be gone one after another unless they can save themselves.
Can't think of a better person to get to take out Jess or Cody.
Oh I know Sharon.... I was being sarcastic. I feel a game of chance is the only type of game Josh could possibly win... And yet, it still amazed me that he actually carried it off! Another week of Paul being HOH.... Gaggggggggg
So CBS didn't show them ridiculing Cody and his time spent in the military? You think they will show this later, since feed fans know the truth or will they never air that part?
I would love to see both Jessica and Cody play the Temptation Competition and one win it.... Then during POV, the other wins that.... Just to shake up the house and watch Paul get nervous... Plus Paul's dogs would have to vote out one of their own! Watch them turn on each other...
I have an idea how that may have happened with Jessica getting the hex. Folks who can't believe it are completely correct that she wasn't a favorite at the time, but Kevin, Alex, Jason were up there or close in fan votes. Heck, even I had a hard time not splitting my votes. I think the favorites got votes all over the place and Jessica got a strong pity/underdog vote. The favorites' votes were split and diluted and in comes Jessica. Just my thoughts on it. If we want to talk about production favorites, you have to admit that the temptation competition challenge favors Cody and not Paul at the time it was instituted. Well, it actually favors both of them because they are challenge/comp beasts. imo
I don't believe all the conspiracy things and tend to believe as some others do here that production doesn't care who wins. I remember when things went McCrae (sp?) and Amanda's way and people cried foul, when people said BB planned Frankie's win, when the fix was in for for Amanda because she had some relationship (not) to Allison Grodner. It happens more years than not now and I just don't buy it. Just me though. :))
Josh should be taking on a few of the others and not just Jess and Cody. I know there are so many who would love to see one of them taken out. I do not believe either one of them will be last til the end. Someone is going to have to take on Paul at some time. Right now, he really is playing the best game. Since they won't let Jess or Cody advance their agenda (which really is not bad, it is a game and they do not want Paul to win), I believe they will definitely be in the jury if they do not step up their game.
I'm disturbed & disgusted by the behavior, it's gone beyond game play & to downright harassment & bullying
ugh. Joker Josh. Banging those pans, must make his momma proud.
Paul I cannot stand any longer. I dont appreciate BB (Alison Grodner) bringing back someone so disgusting.
Why would anyone not be in the temptation comp ???
When did Christmas get this veto?
Monty,Your explanation of how Jess got the temptation is certainly plausible and something I hadn't thought about.
Production may not care who wins in the end but they most certainly care about ratings. For instance if they could help keep Paul or Jessica on the show another week vs Matt I think Grodners elves might help make that happen.
Terry is a Texan,
I believe Christmas was the 2nd to receive America's Temptation... which is the Veto/Replacement. She's been holding on and saving it all this time. Of all the Temptations, her's was the least interesting. Maybe you'll remember that the result for Christmas accepting the temptation was Jason and Cody dressed as V-Toads (frogs) for the week.
